Roti Kitchen is a beloved Caribbean restaurant in London known for its delicious and generous portions, friendly staff, and diverse food selection. Customers praise the flavorful roti with ample meat fillings, particularly recommending the curry mutton dhal puri roti. The atmosphere is welcoming, service is generally good though it can be slow during peak times like Friday evenings. Vegan options are available but limited, marked on the menu for easy identification. Overall, Roti Kitchen impresses with its authentic Caribbean cuisine made with love.
Wow…. What can I say. Best roti I’ve had for a long time. Been here twice now. My favourite is the curry mutton dhal puri roti and I add channa too. My good friend Wayne introduced me to this place. Well done guys. Top food here. As wayne would say… ‘it’s the right one’
I’m from the region where this food is made so was looking forward to trying this. The taste is okay, probably 3/5. Not sure I’d return if basing it on the taste alone. The curry is much darker than traditionally where this is made but at least it does have taste. A star is added for the volume of food received which is very good for the price. I had a chicken roti and a doubles.
Food and service are good. We did find the food a little dry but still nice. We had 2 Brown Stew Chicken boxes and a Saltfish box.
Disappointing Experience
I ordered the saltfish roti, expecting a flavorful Caribbean dish, but it was a total letdown. There was barely any saltfish in the roti—if any at all—and the taste was absolutely horrible. The roti was bland and lacked the authentic flavors I was looking forward to. For a dish that's supposed to showcase saltfish, this was completely unacceptable. Definitely not worth the money or the hype. I won't be ordering from Roti Kitchen again.
Ordered via UberEats. I am a huge fan of roti and curry goat. Ordered a few roti, buss up shut and curry goat. Added a 1/4 jerk chicken too. I was so excited to eat this and share with my family but upon biting into the roti, realised it was salty and not as flaky as I liked - ate it though!! The curry (£13) was mostly gravy and lacked flavour. The colour and texture was lovely. The jerk chicken smelled lovely but needed a few more minutes on the grill as it was slightly red inside. Chicken was seasoned very well. Overall, first time buying from Roti Kitchen and would again! Please watch the salt intake on your roti.
