Indian Coffee House

Indian coffee house is a good place to have non-veg breakfast in Indore. I enjoyed their egg dosa and classic chicken cutlet. The filter coffee was also great in taste and service was clean and direct. It's relatively lighter on the pocket with sufficient quantity of food.

I am a fan of South Indian cuisine. The place is nice and serves tasty food. It was too crowded and at times a bit suffocating. The servers seemed to be little tired (we went there around 9.30pm). Rest all was good but Drinking Water supply was too slow and we had to ask for water several times. Maybe they want to push bottle water more! Another concern was serving both veg and non-veg: I just hope that they have separate kitchen for both. Same person was serving veg and non-veg to different tables.

Lot of goof ups in the order and a very long wait time but the food is GOOD. Always recommended. The egg cutlet is interesting and the mushroom masala was great. The cheese omelette was satisfactory.

I recently visited the "Indian Coffee House" in Indore, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! As a fan of South Indian cuisine, I was eager to try their offerings, and they did not disappoint. ☺️ I ordered the masala dosa, which was not only delicious but also impressively large—definitely enough to share between two people. The dosa was perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with a flavorful potato mixture that had just the right amount of spices. It paired wonderfully with the accompanying chutneys and sambar, making for a satisfying meal. 🤤 We also tried the buttermilk, which was refreshing and well-prepared. It had a nice balance of spices that complemented our meal perfectly. Overall, the food was exceptional, and I can confidently say that the taste here is truly epic! 😋 The ambiance of the café is quite basic, but it has a charm of its own. It feels cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy your meal. 🍛 The service was impressive as well; the staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our visit. 👨🏻‍🍳 One unique aspect that caught my eye was the attire of the waiters and attendants. They wore uniforms that added to the overall experience and gave the café a nostalgic vibe. 🤵🏻‍♂️ Their menu has a very wide range of dishes, not only South Indian but others as well. You can try anything and they wouldn't disappoint you. 🍲🍱🥘 In conclusion, if you're in Indore and craving South Indian food, Indian Coffee House is definitely worth a visit. The masala dosa alone is a reason to go back! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic flavors and a pleasant dining experience. 💯👌🏻

This is a busy restaurant. They have a large variety of dishes. The service is slow. The atmosphere is okay. The cleanliness could be better. There were crumbs beneath our table and it seems no one was there to clean. I noticed that the caps of some of the waiters were soiled. Food wise I think the best dish we ordered was veg cutlet. It takes you back to the railway style cutlet which is famous in South Indian railway journeys. The rava dosa was crisp and the masala in it was okay. The sambar has a rustic taste to it. The chutney is okish. We also ordered coffee and special cold coffee. Both were good. The special uttapam was not so special. It needed a hint of salt. The vada sambar was good. This place is worth trying once. Even if it’s for their cutlets. Cost wise it’s ok. Not too pricey for all we had we paid 600 which was good enough for two people.
