Well it's a tourist trap, but a great one at that. So much to see, lots of funny and cool artifacts. We loved the chicness and eclectic vibes all around. Take the tour, it is so cool and informative, it gives so much backstory and flavor of how the Hole in the Rock came to be. Take your time, and take in all the uniqueness, and be careful of all the cacti all around the grounds too
Was able to get in with the current tour. It was really fascinating and really cool to see the house inside. They don't allow photographers or recordings during the tour but have a really great petting zoo where you can buy buckets of food. If you do, make sure you meet Cooper the camel and kiss feed him with a carrot, and get ice cream in the store it's delicious.
We couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit this roadside attraction. They have an exotic zoo that you can buy food to feed the animals. There aren't too many animals, but it was fun to feed them. The many displays throughout the property are fun to look at and take photos. They have a couple of gift shops. Don't pass up the tour of the home built into the sandstone cliff. Our guide was very informative. He took the time to explain the story of Albert and Gladys Christensen. Unfortunately, no photos are allowed to be taken inside the home. This place was truly amazing!
It was interesting. Big tourists sight. Prices are higher than what is listed online. The tour guide was knowledgeable, but a tad rude in a sarcastic way. We are paying customers, and nobody should be treated that way.
I love this place, but I may be biased because my family built and lived it in for decades. It's such an interesting place inside, with lots of enhancements outside to keep it interesting and entertain the kids.
