Arches National Park, located in Moab, Utah, is a stunning destination with the Colorado River flowing nearby. Visitors can enjoy guided van tours and various rafting trips on the river, including whitewater adventures. The park offers well-worn paths for hiking and opportunities to explore petroglyphs and dinosaur tracks. Additionally, visitors can partake in activities such as road biking and scooter riding.
This is a beautiful park with lots of hike both easy paced ones and hard ones where you must gradually climb up steep rocks. It has amazing scenery but not good for wildlife. It’s a 10-15minute drive from Moab.

This place is so unique!!! Amazing!!! It's open 24hrs. We got there around 6am. The earlier you get, the weather is nice, it's free, and park is not full of tourists.
Rafael O — Google review
Its hard to find words to describe the place, and the pictures don’t so it justice either. My mouth was gaping open as we drove in, and it just got better and better. The sheer size of everything blew me away (note several very interesting looking rock formations). The best part is actually how moderate many of the walks and hikes are meaning people of all fitness levels and abilities can experience it up close. Definitely worth a visit, i got a much needed dose of nature therapy here and cant wait to bring my family back.

Moab Brewery is a renowned microbrewery in Moab, offering a diverse selection of handcrafted beers and hearty American cuisine with a Southwestern twist. The brewery features an energetic atmosphere and also includes an American restaurant, bar, patio dining area, and a gift shop. Additionally, Moab is known as a haven for off-road enthusiasts with numerous bike shops available for renting top-quality bikes.
Came in here after a long day of riding and had an awesome meal! Server was great (Christian was his name) and made some great recommendations. The Cajun burger was delicious. It was so good that I ordered a second burger. Fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My buddy tried the root beer and said it was great as well
Brad P — Google review
I had an amazing experience at Moab Brewery! The beer soup was rich and flavorful, and the gyro wrap was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned and fresh. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service. Our server, Alexander, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made our visit unforgettable. Highly recommend this place for great food, drinks, and outstanding service!
Babak Y — Google review
We had a great experience here! My brother was getting married in Moab and we needed a place big enough for all of us for rehearsal lunch (about 30 of us!). Moab Brewery definitely delivered. They were ready for us, had that large table set up in a nice room and the servers had it handled! We all had great food and a great time. Made for some awesome memories and I look forward to going back here whenever we get a chance again! Thank you for making the rehearsal lunch great and go so seamlessly!

We visited twice for dinner during our three nights in Moab. Beers we tried were all excellent and had their BBQ plate (available after 5pm). The brisket, beer can chicken and ribs were all great. Well worth trying when in town.
Rod T — Google review
Good food. The pretzel mustard is amazing. My wife and I both had salads and they were very good. The beer they make is average at best.
Dane D — Google review
We stopped in here for lunch before we headed back to Salt Lake, Antonio was our server and he was great! The chicken quesadilla was amazing. The hostess was super nice as well. 10/10.
Abby T — Google review
Gross food! Don’t order the quesadillas… Quality is bad and the pork on the quesadilla is dry and old meat. It leaves a bad aftertaste, soggy and gross! The food here used to be good.. They constantly changed the menus and now it’s terrible.
Julia K — Google review
Before COVID the food and service here was unbeatable. In our last two annual trips to Moab things just aren't the same. This time we went for lunch. Beer was still very good. Service was basic. Server walked up and first thing out of his mouth "are you ready to order". Hadn't even asked what we'd like to drink. Food: Pulled pork sandwich was dry and had a teaspoon of BBQ sauce. The sweet potato fries tasted good but weren't hot, at all. Cole slaw had no flavor. BLTA sandwich. Bacon had no flavor. Garlic aoli mayo had no garlic and no aoli. Regular French fries were like the sweet potato. Tasted ok, not hot. Go for an apres bike/ride beer but go elsewhere for dinner. Next time, we're going to hit the beer cooler and take some 4 packs to go and call it a day.

Food court
Nestled in Moab, the Moab Food Truck Park is a casual and inviting spot that brings together a diverse range of food trucks offering classic street fare. Whether you're craving Chinese cuisine from Red Wok Chinese Express, authentic Mexican flavors from Tacos El Gordo, refreshing shave ice from Hokulia Shave Ice, or indulgent donuts from Delicate Donuts, this park has something to please every palate.
This a must stop for a quick stop. Several food trucks with many choices around a general area with covered picnic tables. I had a Greek gyro. It was true Greek. I was very pleased. My friend had orange chicken and also was very pleased. Great Moab experience.
Ann S — Google review
Cute little lot that has been developed into a park of Food Trucks. There is lots of options from pizza to Mediterranean, Chinese and Hot Dogs. They even have some dessert options. We had the Chinese which was ok but didn't have much flavor as all the sauce was pooled at the bottom not coating the chicken. We grabbed Gelato for dessert and it was so good. Creamy and sweet but not overly sweet. The whole place gives off a relaxed backyard BBQ type vibe.
Nicole B — Google review
This truck park is nice. There are a bunch of options for people, and I decided to have the Red Wok Kitchen. The food was pretty good, but quite expensive. For that plate and potstickers I paid $26. A bit steep, but still a good option for taste. The other food trucks looked great too!
Kyle M — Google review
The Moab Food Truck Park is a very unique experience right off of the main street in town. We had lunch here one day and had never really seen anything like it as far as a food court set-up goes. There are a number of different food trucks / cuisines to choose from, and there is a ton of picnic style seating within the middle of the park to enjoy your meal. Very cool!
A R — Google review
The food truck park is conveniently located by several hotels and provided fresh mist relief and fast comfort food on my first night here, following a 20-hour drive from Illinois.
Derreck M — Google review
Oasis in the hot summer in Moab. Water sprayed helped with the heat a bit. But occasional wind may blow dust on you. Great food trucks. Mediterranean was more popular next to the gelato shop.
Arun ( — Google review
The food truck park is a nice option to grab something to eat on Moab. A broad selection with Asian, Mexican and Mediterranean food, some American classics like hot dogs and (American style) pizza and sweet stuff, so everybody should be able to find something they like it's a nice diversion from all the usual suspects at the local restaurants... Free parking is available too.
Stefan S — Google review
Good idea (not new) of food trucks plaza, you can find different variety of food within 30 seconds of walking, about 10-12 different food trucks. Eating area could be much better

Slickrock Bike Trail is a challenging cycling area located in a striking desert setting in Moab. The 12-mile loop trail offers a thrilling experience for beginners and experienced riders alike. With picnic tables, toilets, and plenty of water and sunscreen, it's an adventure worth the effort. Moab offers various outdoor activities such as river rafting on the Colorado River and exploring ancient petroglyphs along Potash Road.
I’m. It sure if they allow dirt bikes anymore but we had a great time. Place is clean with great directions. Once you get there you can connect to different trailheads. Very nice crowd and good camp spot as well
Peter M — Google review
If you’re a cyclist who’s got some fitness this trail won’t be too physically demanding for you. It’s got some fun downs and steep grinding uphills that are short and punchy but all rideable with decent strength and skill. The views and scenery are incredible like nothing I’ve ever ridden!
Larry W — Google review
Hubby LOVED the bike trail and said it was pretty epic! I hiked around a bit, but it was in full sun with little shade. This is a place that mountain bikers dream about, but there were lots of step climbs, so it's not for the absolute novice.
Colleen B — Google review
The Moab Slickrock Trail has quickly become one of my favorite mountain bike rides! This trail offers a challenging technical experience, with steep climbs and tight, rocky switchbacks that will test your skills. One great feature is that electric-assist mountain bikes are allowed, making it accessible for a wider range of riders. The stunning vistas along the trail had us frequently stopping to snap photos. We chose to ride during sunset, transitioning into the night with bike lights, which was nothing short of magical. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the changing light highlighted the unique rock formations, transforming the landscape before our eyes. The way the rocks shifted colors and shadows in the fading light was an unforgettable sight. If you're looking for a trail that offers both technical riding and breathtaking scenery, the Moab Slickrock Trail is a must-ride!
David P — Google review
Beautiful trail on a unique surface. It will quickly kick your ass because if you're not going up a super steep hill, you're going down a super steep hill. None are long but it's constant. But you still have to go because it's so awesome. The practice loop is damn tough. If you want to do the whole trail, don't warm up on the practice trail, it's hard enough (for me :))
David M — Google review
Very fun trail but not for the novice rider. Greg and give a 2 ish hour buffer before sunset as the trail gets tricky after dark. (Not fun but a good story). Walking your bike is very normal and regular yet frustrating. You’ll feel it in your legs the next day though.
Jack O — Google review
An amazingly grueling ride! Views are fantastic and the experience can't be replicated. I would highly recommend at least 75 ounces of water. We rode it in July starting at 8:30am. By the last 1 hour, the heat escalates quite a bit! I would recommend starting no later than 7:30. Very difficult. I would say it's doable by most kids who have ridden at least 1 year of NICA.
Janson P — Google review
Beautiful place to Mt bike... But not easy at all for beginner or even intermediate bikers. We only rode the practice loop, which definitely isn't a beginner loop... But it was still tons of fun and incredibly beautiful, despite lots of walking and a broken chain.

Sand Flats Recreation Area in Moab, Utah is a 9,000-acre nature recreation area nestled in a valley surrounded by striking red rock formations. It's a popular destination for campers, bikers, and off-road enthusiasts. The area offers thrilling activities such as mountain biking along the petrified dunes of the Slickrock Trail and Porcupine Rim Trail, as well as driving on the challenging Hells Revenge trail.
Easy to get to, easy to get in especially with a America The Beautiful pass. They offered a map. We had fun at Hell's Revenge ( took about 3 hours)and Fins N Things ( took about 2 hours). Lots of bathrooms at the parking lots and trail heads.

The scenery is beautiful and worth the washboard road! Just take it slow and steady. There are plenty of places to stop and sight see or take off road adventures to the highest degree along with places for a potty break. I recommend taking plenty of water and sunscreen with a camera ready to go! We even saw a Great Basin Gopher snake crossing the road! Yikes... Lol!

Accessible camping near Arches National Park and Moab. Very busy recreation area filled with bikes and side by sides. The Juniper campground was located 7 miles from the entrance with 6+miles of dirt road. The road was passable without a 4-wheel drive but was rough in spots. We drove in with a class B motorhome pulling a 12' trailer. Our campsite, J2, was large enough for 2 vehicles and our trailer. The site had a fire pit and picnic table, and the area was clean. We found our site quiet and away from the majority of the road noise. Camp sites were far enough away from other campsites that we had privacy and didn't hear our neighbors. A great trail is located on the loop at the end of the road going into Juniper campground. I was able to walk our dog and explore some local rock formations.

Great little hidden gem. Cool OHV Riding Area with lots of things to explore. Heads up, the drive in from the freeway kinda sucks. No restrooms, no covered areas or trees for shade etc.

Coming from desert and woods riding this was a slower pace with incredible traction on slants of all degrees. A lot of fun on unbelievable terrain! Stopped for a break and had lots of help offered by people on all types of bikes and machines. A place not to be missed!

The stunning landscapes and exhilarating trails provided a perfect playground for outdoor enthusiasts like me. From the iconic Slickrock Trail to the breathtaking views, every moment was filled with adventure. Highly recommend exploring this unique spot for an unforgettable experience!

This area is amazing. There are so many mountain bike trails and 4x4 offroad trails as well as hiking trails. The entrance fee is worth every cent. We did the Juniper Trail, an easy one hour hike. There are great camping opportunities too.
Walter R — Google review
Many of the other reviews out there make it seem really complicated to get a campsites in Sand Flats - it’s not! It’s easy and you’re going to have a great time! When you arrive, you tell the people at the booth you want to camp and they’ll either have you pay then if they know there are sites available, or they’ll let you in to look around for a site that’s open. If you find one, you claim it by leaving something there and go back to the booth to pay/get your tag. It’s $15/night, per car. Extra fees for trailers, etc. There are a bunch of different campground loops. A, B, C, and D are the closest to the entry booth and accessible by mostly paved roads; E-J are deeper in. Each has several labeled sites (letter+number), all of which are first come first serve through the process above. Note: there are a few big group sites, which are the only sites you can reserve in advance. There are lots of types of spots with different sizes and features - all can accommodate a car and a tent - only some can accommodate bigger campers and trailers. There’s not a ton of privacy - you’ll probably be able to see other sites from yours. That said, there are some real gems with cool rock formations, trees, etc., and all have picnic tables and fire rings. There’s solid LTE and 5G cell service in some of the sites - especially the loops with early letters in the alphabet. There are clean, not-smelly, well-cared for vault toilets with toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and locking doors for privacy distributed in every loop. There are also some old school toilets that are just fenced in with no roof - exciting/terrifying! Be aware: You’re going to hear dirt bikes, jeeps, and 4-wheelers from time to time, or depending on your loop/site, a lot. It’s possible to have a pretty peaceful time if you choose your site wisely, but this whole area unfortunately attracts people who like loud things, so at the very least, you’ll encounter these vehicles on the road and/or parking at sites near yours. If you’re like me and kind of hate that, just try to let your mind drift across the unbelievably beautiful landscape and carry on. It’s truly gorgeous out here and good people have made a lovely place to camp. Bring your own water! There’s none available anywhere in Sand Flats. (Free water filling is available at Gear Heads in town.) Also bring your own wood and prepare to pack out your trash. A couple parking lots have dumpsters but they aren’t in the camp loops. All in all, this is a very cool place to camp simply. It’s affordable, well-kept, and in a stunning area. You’re close to town, but in the magnificent desert, your phone will probably will work, and you can go to the bathroom comfortably. Thanks Sand Flats crew and good luck out there, campers!

American restaurant
Desert Bistro is an upscale dining venue located in Moab, offering a unique blend of Southwestern and French cuisine in an intimate setting. The restaurant is known for its inventive menu featuring nightly game specials and fresh seafood flown in from the coast. With a focus on locally sourced ingredients, the bistro provides a sophisticated culinary experience that captures the spirit of Moab.
This is the place for fine dining in Moab. Even the locals will tell you that all the food here is not bad, but not great, except for Desert Bistro! There were 5 in my party who each ordered a different dish including both of the daily specials. Everyone absolutely loved their food! I recommend going here. They have some creative dishes and the presentation and service are impressive. There is some outdoor seating. Do yourself a favor and visit Desert Bistro.

We came here after a long day of hiking at 2 national parks. We were famished and wanted to grab some good food before all of the restaurants closed. Although this is a nicer restaurant, they welcomed us even in hiking clothes! All of the selections were fresh and delicious. It's a pricey place, but know that going in. This is not a chain, but a nice local restaurant. Though not on the menu, they had a great selection for ny children and were very accommodating. We had an appetizer, salad, kids meals, meal, dessert, and coffee. This has been the best meal of our trip. Most expensive as well, but we considered it a treat. Our waitress, Shelby, was absolutely delightful! My husband loved his bison and I loved my filet.
L G — Google review
Came from out of town, and this place had good reviews, so I thought I would try it. Just based on the menu, I was expecting it to be mid and over priced. It looked pretentious and hoity-toity. I'm so happy I was wrong. I had an absolutely delightful experience dining here. The staff went above and beyond to help and accommodate me and my group and offer recommendations and wine pairings. To start, we ordered the bacon wrapped dates, which were fantastic, and the house salad, which, again, you wouldn't think much from just a salad, but was so tasty. My friend ordered the beef tenderloin, which was cooked perfectly and was most excellent. The gorgonzolla was a bit much, but it was still delicious. I ordered one of the specials of the day, which was a Macadamia nut encrusted sea bass with wild rice, and a sweet salsa on the side. It was amazing. The fish was so tender and flavorful, and the green sauce drizzled along the plate to dip it in was just so tasty. I highly recommend this place for date night or to celebrate something. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.
Chad B — Google review
We missed our first reservation here because of the power outage but we made it back. This place is not to be missed if you want a nice dinner out. Prices were not ridiculous for the quality of the food. We ordered all specials from apps all the way through dessert. Bailey, our server, had excellent suggestions and provided great service. Thanks for a great evening!
Kathleen R — Google review
We tend to rate restaurants by how good the food is, but we give a lot of extra credit for food that is over the top good and also surprises us in a good way. This happens almost never. But it happened at Desert Bistro in Moab. Sea Bass pan seared with a pistachio crust and a red pepper sauce with a hint of smoked peppers. But the side of rice pilafy stuff was infused with cinnamon and was superb. My companion had the pork tenderloin, done perfectly, with a hot pepper apple compote and green apple sliced supper thin with dusting of smoked paprika. Nothing else like this in Moab for sure. The last time we had food this good was at a James Beard award winner in Portland, Oregon. I really cannot say enough good about this restaurant. And the deserts were completely over the top.
R J — Google review
My boyfriend took me for my birthday and the food was great! Definitely smaller portions like you’d expect at a fancier restaurant so be sure to get an appetizer. We had the bison empanadas, I had the Gorgonzola & pinion crusted beef tenderloin, my boyfriend had mushroom pasta and we shared the chocolate walnut tart for dessert! Very delicious!
Jessica H — Google review
We had such a great experience at Desert Bistro. It's an intimate restaurant with exceptional food. We started with the Ahi Tuna appetizer and shared the Chipotle Caesar Salad -- which was amazing! I had the Gorgonzola & Pinon Crusted Beef Tenderloin, and the hubs got the Bison Tenderloin special. The homemade bread was a nice compliment.
Monique D — Google review
We had a great table on the covered patio. Waiter Chester is an amazing dude and hostess Alisa was awesome as well. Both were helpful, very friendly, gave great recommendations. We had a salad, halibut and pork tenderloin, special tasting dessert. Food was excellent, drinks were well done and the wine was as great and reasonably priced. A must visit for a fine dining experience in Moab. You need to go!

Italian restaurant
Antica Forma in Moab, UT is the go-to spot for a satisfying Italian meal after a day of adventure. The restaurant offers classic and authentic Italian dishes such as Caesar Salad, alfredo, and chicken parm. However, the real star of the show is their Neapolitan-style pizza that's prepared with perfection. Whether you're craving a hot slice of pizza or some delicious pasta, Antica Forma promises to deliver cheesy goodness in a welcoming atmosphere.
Amazing experience at Antica Forma! The food was absolutely delicious—authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. Despite the restaurant being packed, the service was impressively fast and efficient. We had a short 15-minute wait, but it was well worth it. Everything from the atmosphere to the quality of the pizza made this a fantastic dining experience. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Moab!

Just enjoyed one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Fresh, quality ingredients. Mozzarella balsamic roasted tomatoes made in house. Expertly prepared pizza. Generous servings. Pizza in photo is the non-tomato sauce primavera.

Oh wow this place was amazing! We had a pizza by the same name as the restaurant, the pollo parmigiana and garlic bread - and it was all delicious! We love pizza and Italian food so this was a big hit for us. There were so many options for food it was hard to make a decision because it all sounded so yummy! The staff was really nice and the restaurant atmosphere was chill. You could also watch the pizzas being made in their wood fire oven which is neat! I would eat here again for sure!
Hailee T — Google review
This pizza snob from New York absolutely loved the pizza! We got the margarita pizza and the fungi pizza, both of which were delicious. They are definitely personal sized pizzas, probably about 12" and thin crust. The service was prompt and attentive, the kitchen is open to view into, and the place was comfortably busy. If we come back to Moab, this will always be on our list to visit. Definitely recommend if you live thin crust pizza with quality ingredients!
Emily L — Google review
One of the best NYC style pizzas I've tasted outside of NYC. Lived up to the reviews and hype. Sausage was especially tasty. Owner learned Pizzaiuolo in NYC and it shows. Meatballs and homemade Italian sodas too. Tart and tasty homemade lemonade but disappointed with the small 8-10 ounce glass size.
Mike B — Google review
Want to make it clear right off the top….I recommend eating here. 4 stars is not a bad thing. If I was giving this place an official score it would be a 4.3. I would come here again. The pizza is good. Toppings were good, not great: Polpette pizza: I wanted this to be really good. The crust is really good. The sauce is tangy but misses the mark just a little bit. Plenty of cheese which was very tasty but the meatballs lacked flavor. Not a lot of spices going on here….so it was just a little disappointing. Provola pizza: this one was excellent. The mix of cheeses were fantastic and for some reason the sauce on this one was more flavorful. I’m sure they use the same sauces so it is hard to explain why the sauce on the two pizzas tasted different. Regardless, the Provola is more than just a cheese pizza…it’s fantastic. Garlic Bread: excellent garlic bread. Cheesy and garlicky. Maybe $7.95 is a little much for 4 smaller pieces. Kids chicken fingers: This was also good. Not just warmed up chicken fingers from a box. Panko crusted and homemade. Atmosphere and service were average. It’s a big place. Food came out fairly fast. Nice spot.

We used Antica Forma as our unofficial supplier of pizza for our adventure elopement, after a recommendation from our photographer. We stopped by in the afternoon, ordered takeout pizza for us to eat later that day at one of our photo locations just before sunset. The pizza was amazing! Despite being cold and not oven fresh when we ate it that evening, it tasted great, with lots of lovely fresh ingredients, and the perfect dough, which was also cooked to perfection! If it tasted that good cold, it is sure to be unbelievably good when oven fresh! Definitely the place to go to get great tasting and reasonably priced pizza in Moab!

Service was great, cocktail was delicious, salads (Primavera and Spinch E Mele) were good with large portion sizes, and pizza (Margherita and La Nona) flavor was okay, nothing amazing, but the crust was a little underdone and soggy for a wood fired pizza.. Would try again and ask for the pizza a little extra done.

In the heart of Moab, Utah, sits Quesadilla Mobilla, a bright yellow food truck offering a diverse menu of quesadillas, including vegan options. The popular spot provides a shaded area under water-misters for customers to enjoy their thick and flavorful meat and veggie quesadillas. The fusion cuisine incorporates nontraditional ingredients, making for an inventive dining experience that draws long lines of eager patrons.
I love food trucks! I think they have a nice vibe to them. I saw Quesadilla Mobilla on Google Maps as a very high rated place and I just had to try it. The food was amazing! Ordered the Dirt Bag with chicken and it was soooo good. Would absolutely come here again.

Awesome vegetarian food, also they can customize quesadilla for Jain (no onion, no garlic, and no potatoes). Just ask them for a cheese quesadilla and add as many veggies as you want. The taste was amazing, must try the place if you are vegetarian. They took their time to understand what we were asking for and prepared nice quesadilla. Kids and adults both ate whole quesadillas.

We stopped in here for lunch before we headed back to Salt Lake, Antonio was our server and he was great! The chicken quesadilla was amazing. The hostess was super nice as well. 10/10.

Gross food! Don’t order the quesadillas… Quality is bad and the pork on the quesadilla is dry and old meat. It leaves a bad aftertaste, soggy and gross! The food here used to be good.. They constantly changed the menus and now it’s terrible.

We visited this café twice, and it exceeded expectations both times! For lunch, we tried the wraps, which were perfectly fresh and flavorful. The breakfast burrito was amazing as well. The host surprised us with sweet treats as little Christmas gifts, which added such a warm and festive touch. The café itself is spotless, with a welcoming vibe that makes you want to linger. If you're looking for clean, tasty food and exceptional hospitality, this spot is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Extremely friendly staff. I love the concept and atmosphere from the moment you walk in you see so much art and crafts. The food was ok. The panini was plain and not my favorite. It lacked flavor and texture.

I thought we would not find truly kind and friendly service in Moab but found it here! Staff were NOTICEABLY super nice. And to top it all off, food was very tasty! We ordered the breakfast burrito and quesadilla to dine in and two sandwiches that we took out for lunch. Everything was great! We will definitely be visiting on our next visit. Highly recommend!

This is literally the cutest place to grab coffee and desserts and a panini. Such a great atmosphere. Good grab and go options too.

This place is amazing. I went in with a catering request. I needed a 100 cookies in 48 hours. Ask them if there was any way that could happen and their answer was no problem! Then realized I actually needed a hundred more and they said we can do that for you, and with a smile. Those yummy, little bites of wonderful were a HIT! When I stopped by to pick up my order, I was in line behind a gentleman who was ordering sandwiches for tomorrow's hike. The girl behind the counter was asking him if he would like it wrapped differently so that it would Be fresh for lunch the next day. Truly impressed with how helpful and friendly everyone is. Highly recommended!

This is hands down our favorite place to eat in Moab. The sandwiches taste so fresh and yummy and are a great size. The bacon potato salad is the best I've ever had. And the desserts? Delicious. We love the salted pistachio cookies and the white chocolate raspberry scones. To top it off, everyone is so nice.
