Simple, humble, perfect, independent takeaway Greek cuisine at its quirky & affordable best - so conveniently located in a modest (slightly cramped) situation – Two minutes walk from New Street Station – One minute walk from Victoria Square – in Stephenson Street, –Beautiful, freshly prepared platters of succulent meat & also vegetarian dishes, salad side with dressing and Pitta slices. Fresh, simple, lovely menu and caring service - on simple cardboard plates! With size options of either £3.80 & £5.40 giving superb value and well sized portions. Refreshingly focused on providing gorgeous authentic Greek fare. Can't wait to go back.

The place looks really cool and the people were friendly and nice. The problem is the food. It was not aweful by any means, but it is not good either. I found everything very salty and heavily spiced. I don't mean spicy hot, but really spiced with spices that I am not familiar with. In such cases I automatically assume that the meat is not fresh and they try to hide the smell, as such spices are untypical for Greek cuisine. Maybe I was just unlucky. I don't know and I will not find out as I don't plan to go there again.

A few other reviewers also seem to have noticed that the quality of the food has deteriorated somewhat. I'm now down to a 3 star from a 5 star. Will happily eat here again, and will revisit my rating if needed after my next visit.

A great place for lunch in the centre of Birmingham. You can eat in albeit a small place or you can take away to your place of work. The food is fresh, non greasy and extremely tasty. Ideal place to go on a Friday afternoon. Top notch.

I have been eating at 4023 for 4 years and up until they changed the management (this year) it was one of my favourite places to eat. I tried giving you guys chance 3 times in the past few months and the simple truth is that the food Isn't what it used to be. Ordered over the phone a month ago and got charged £30 for 3 large chicken portions. Today I ordered from Deliveroo and the cost for a portion was £6 All 3 times I had food this year from you has been either not cooked enough or burnt. Fries are no longer the best thing about your food as most of the times they are raw. Ordered haloumi and got 3 pieces , barely cooked, whapped with uncooked potatoes and a couple day old Lettuce. The sole reason why I am writing this comment is to ensure everyone is aware that you just lost 4 of your most loyal customers. Good luck with everything.
