With an hour to spare before my bus home, I went into the Crooked House Of Windsor, and enjoyed some wine and cheese. My photos don’t do the crookedness justice! I felt a bit sea sick in the second floor! It is the oldest tea house in England and was reconstructed in 1687. It was cozy and magical! The cheese and bread were delicious and the staff were so welcoming.
Came for the building, stayed for the coffee(s)! The coffee was the best, a highlight of our trip!! Scones were delicious. Pricing is what you'd expect. The service and quality were exemplary.
The Crooked House of Windsor is a unique and charming landmark, drawing visitors with its distinctive lean and whimsical architecture. A fascinating blend of history and intrigue, it offers a fun, photo-worthy stop in the heart of Windsor.
While the building itself is the main attraction, there is limited engagement or activity inside, which may leave some visitors wanting more. Nonetheless, it’s an iconic spot that adds character to Windsor, making it a worthwhile stop for those exploring the area.
