Where to eat: the 50 best restaurants in Clearwater

I've been here multiple times and can't remember a time when I've been disappointed by the food. The service from the waiters and waitresses has usually been good as well. I'm especially happy that they offer the Supper Club Menu. It can help with the cost for those concerned with the overall price. The atmosphere is wonderful. If you're fortunate enough to go at a time when the weather is pleasant, I certainly would recommend sitting outside. Parking can be a bit of a hassle. There is a parking lot on site but it does fill up quickly especially during the busier hours. They do offer valet, although I'm unsure of the price. My real qualm that prevents me from giving a higher rating is their absolute refusal to accommodate groups or reservations. My group of probably 40+ people has been coming to this restaurant for over a decade. When we first started coming, there did not seem to be any issue in doing their best to seat us together or in a section of the restaurant. Unfortunately, they have refused to help accommodate us the past couple of years. We try calling in advance (a few days at least if not earlier) to explain the situation or provide them with a heads up and still no improvement. It really has become quite disappointing. It seems like next year our group will have to find a restaurant that actually wants and values our business.

All good, just too cold outside during the evening. I would put some heaters. Food was nice, our server had a great personality. And, that place need to have more Wallpanels in interior ))

This experience was perfect! Great atmosphere, great service, and great food! I don't have anything bad to say about it. Upscale experience but they also have an amazing early dinner deal. It was only $24 for a meal that comes with bread, salad, and dessert (4pm-5:30pm) and the drink deals are a steal. Our server was very attentive and everyone was so friendly. Also pretty kid-friendly, but they give a marker instead of crayons and my toddler was covered in marker by the end of it haha. Regardless, he was happy and we had a wonderful experience overall.

From the moment I sat down she made my first visit spectacular, and greeted me with the menus, walking me through front to back with such formal and personable service. I’ve never had a bartender let alone server treat me with such sophisticated care and professionalism. The experience was immersive, and I learned the specials and her honest recommendations. I would love to come back again.

Good steaks and atmosphere. Attended a corporate dinner at this restaurant and we were seated in a long table (20+) people. Service was excellent and we didn’t have to wait long for apps, food and drink k to come out despite our party size. I had the sirloin with mash potatoes and it was cooked to perfection.

We lived in Clearwater over 15 years ago, and on a recent vacation, we knew we had to come back to one of our favorite spots—Frenchy’s Rockaway Grill. It’s still every bit as good as we remembered. The fried grouper sandwich was just as perfect as it used to be, and the she crab soup hit the spot—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. My wife went with the grilled grouper filet plate and absolutely loved it. The staff was friendly and on top of everything, and the whole place still has that chill, beachy vibe we always loved. Great food, great service, great memories. Frenchy’s is still a Clearwater classic.

We come here often with parties of 7-10 and it just DELIVERS every single time. We are big fans of their grouper sandwiches. The staff is always great, the environment is always great, there is never anything we could ask for to be better when we leave. Kudos to management here. You're doing great. 🫡

Visited here with some friends and we were seated immediately even with a full beach of people waiting to get in! They sat us inside and we got some drinks from their large selection of drinks. They even took our picture of our group which actually turned out very good and we bought some ($20 for the first photo and $10 for each one after). All of our food was delicious but the portions could have been larger. Adult drinks come in temperature changing cups which was cool to see. Very good but portion size are small for the price. I'd come back here especially for the variety of drinks. 4/5 stars

This was my first time in this beautiful place!! Its really clean !! Even it was full of people i was seated really fast ... and my order was pretty fast too...the staff is very friendly and helpful... i was really impressed by the quality of the food.... everything was hot and tasty. I really recommend this place. I'll be back for sure

Great place to enjoy some cool clearwater breeze with some good food and good drinks. We ordered fish bone shape pretzel it was good along with buffalo sauce chicken sandwich with in-house margarita. Did ordered Hawaiian chicken sandwich but it was just ok bit soggy though. Sea food lovers paradise with great ambience.

This is a busy place. We had about a 20 min wait to be seated. There is a walk up bar to kill time. Once seated we had great service and even better food. I had the Cajun grouper sandwich. It was very tasty, but not much Cajun. The girls enjoyed a shrimp basket, coconut shrimp, and a grilled chicken sandwich. The coconut shrimp were amazing. A word of caution, the bar does their job well. The drinks are made well and strong! I look forward to our next visit!

The location? Stunning. Waterfront views that make you forget your emails, your worries, and the fact that you almost had a parking lot meltdown trying to get here. Yes, parking is a contact sport and the valet line moves with all the urgency of a Florida manatee on vacation. But once you’re inside? Bliss. The relaxed, old-world atmosphere, the friendly staff who know exactly why you’re here (hint: it rhymes with “nineteen oh thrive”), and the gentle coastal breeze combine into an experience worth every minute circling the lot like a hungry seagull. Pro tip: Just surrender to the valet, embrace the wait, and know that salvation awaits in salad form. Five stars. Ten if they invent better parking. Still totally worth it.

My family and I had a great meal here last night. The food was great and the service was friendly and prompt. They offer a kids menu for less adventurous children. I had a salad, the Grouper "Jimmy", and a couple old fashioned. My critiques: -The tables were packed into the space. It felt too tight. Servers we were having a hard time getting around me. -The Old Fashioned had small ice. For an expensive cocktail I think they need to use a large single ice cube. The drink was still good.

This was an incredible experience. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. All staff were pleasant, friendly, attentive and professional. The view of the water was amazing. I couldn't stop eating even after being stuffed. The portions were large and prices very reasonable.

A great place and atmosphere. I always enjoy coming back. It has a variety of dishes and tapas for starters that are very good. You definitely won't have a problem choosing a good, flavorful dish! 100% recommended. Parking is limited, but they have valet parking. Don't forget to make a reservation to be safe and not waste your time.

This is a favorite place for our family for years … this time did not disappoint. We accidental left our take home container and they gave us a dessert to make up for it. I was not the restaurant’s fault but they still were nice about it. Jordon our server was great!

We’ve had positive experiences at Columbia every time! The food is consistently good, though the grouper had more bones than I’d like. Other than that, I really enjoy coming here, and the view is beautiful!

This was my first time back since after the hurricanes and I could tell you it did not disappoint at all. The biggest thing about any of the clear sky locations is it's always consistent. The staff is always attentive and willing to go the extra mile not a place you regret tipping heavy. Oh and the view is spectacular!!!

This place was highly recommended by people at the conference so we decided to check it out. When we arrived we were greeted and told they’d be a wait of 15-20 minutes which we were okay with. While we waited, we sat on a table that looked like a waiting bench but turned out to be an actual table. When the waiter saw us sitting there he asked if we wanted to stay there (outside) and we agreed to, so the wait was more like 7 minutes. Our waitress gave us a few recommendations and after some thought I decided to get the chicken piccata with a side of mash and asparagus and fries (yes!). The chicken was juicy and moist, the sauce complimented the chicken and the mash. It was delicious! The fries were also perfect and crispy. The only downside was that because we were outside, it was a little windy so our food got cold almost immediately. It was good regardless but I imagine that warm it must be way better. There an entrance to the beach from there too. I walked over when the sun was setting and another breathtaking sunset.

Had breakfast here and was not disappointed. It is a small space, so there was a bit of a wait. All of our meals came out quickly and hot. The service was outstanding and attentive. I would definitely recommend this spot for breakfast. I will return for dinner soon...hopefully I'll get the same experience again!

They really changed up the place the ambiance is very good and open. The food is on the pricer side but the portions are massive and the quality is really good. They had a super thick burger patty much larger than what is typical. The toppings were fresh and overall a very flavourful burger. Would recommend.

Clear Sky Cafe was hands down the best restaurant we visited during our trip. We ordered the Chicken Tortilla Soup and the Mushroom Cream Soup — both were incredibly flavorful and comforting. The beet salad and pepperoni & mushroom pizza were also super fresh and delicious. Everything tasted homemade and thoughtfully prepared. The host was very welcoming, and the staff attentive and kind, which made the whole experience even better. The only minor downside was that the live music was set up right next to our table, making it a bit difficult to talk at times. Luckily, the performer took breaks, and the atmosphere remained enjoyable. Highly recommend — amazing food, friendly service, and a cozy vibe.

Dropped by Clear Sky and grabbed a seat at the bar. CJ was behind the counter-friendly, quick, and on top of things. Good energy all around. Went with the grouper, and it was amazing with flavorful on a what I want to say were creamy mashed potatoes. I also heard about new cauliflower pasta, which I smelled, and if it didn't look so good I would have taken a bite. More to come on that and the expectations given the smell, the presentation in the styrofoam AND the grouper are elevated!

We stopped in here on night 1 looking for some gluten free options with our party.. so many great options available. For myself, I had the shrimp scampi and it was so good we brought a party of 15 back the next evening and had a great time! The calamari and bruschetta appetizers were also very good. Lenny’s such a great Jewish deli! A menu packed full of everything you want from a deli, the pickles and beets were delicious. The garden omelette and house potatoes were well flavored and the omelette was full of fresh veggies. The garden salad with chicken breast was ok, a little underwhelming with just iceberg lettuce as opposed to a heartier mixed blend of greens. But the portion was large and the freshness was on point, and the chicken was well seasoned. The atmosphere is everything, lots of fun quotes on the ceiling tiles and fun memorabilia all around the place, keep your eyes open and your head on a swivel so you don’t miss all the fun!! Overall a solid meal, great portions, loved the free pastry basket. We’ll definitely stop by again on our next vacation. Thank you!

I’ve been to Lenny’s a few times through the years. They always are very friendly and have great service! Today, Chloe was my server and did an absolutely excellent job with everything!! The inside of the restaurant is interesting to look at with all the decor from floor to ceiling. They gave complimentary pastries in a little basket which was special. Food came out hot and looked great!! Flavor was very good as well!! I had the “Dan’s Famous Gator Omelette with grits & home-fried potatoes. The hollandaise sauce was a nice addition to my omelette as well!! Definitely recommend dining here, as it’s one of Pinellas County’s long established restaurants popular with locals and tourists alike!!!

Wow, what an amazing vibe - what a place! Very unique, old-time feeling, mom & pop restaurant vibe where the coffee keeps coming! Amazing service. IDK how everyone seems so happy. Management must be doing a great job. (Only comment is that I was very disappointed that they use styrofoam for take out) but just a fantastic, upbeat place, so peppy and lively with an old-timmey feel. Loved the vibe, people, and food.

Buckle up! Lenny’s is a Philly-style deli paradise! We visited the place for an early lunch on a sunny March Tuesday and the place was cooking’ on all burners. It’s very close to BayCare Ballpark, a Phillies spring training spot. Lenny’s reflects the great spirit & enthusiasm of their fans. It’s a whimsical, clean, fun, fast-paced bagel, bennie, omelet, hoagie (and at least 70 other menu item) wonderland. The host is right there when you walk in, directing your first impression not unlike a symphony conductor. He’s clearly got it together, on top of everything. Despite the crowded & hectic pace, we were seated & welcomed promptly by our server, a gregarious, sharp & apparently well trained individual. Our orders included two specialty bagels, a tasty spinach knish and a sausage & (huge) ‘silver dollar’ pancake combo. Delivery to our table was 10 minutes or so; not bad at all. Everything was tasty & prepared well, although my bagel was a bit overtoasted for me. I also thought my Chicago included lox, but when I asked, it was quickly upgraded to the New York. If you’re in the area, this is a spot you don’t want to miss!

It is sad to decrease the restaurant rating, but I would expect to get more from them. The hotel is perfect as well as the location, but the restaurant is on the level it is rated. I thought the food would be delicious, however I did not want to finish my meal, even asked for a bread slice. Sushi was ok, ribeye steak looked delicious, but I did not like the taste. My wife had chicken ramen, I think it was ok for her. Overall, atmosphere and service were very good, and I hope that they will improve their menu. It is the most popular destination in Tampa bay area, so the restaurants should be on the highest level. It was cold and windy, may be it had an effect as well.

The restaurant boasts a glorious ambiance and a stunning location, paired with tremendous service. The food was beautifully presented and the cocktails were exceptional, though the seasoning was slightly off and the fish was overcooked—still, I’d definitely return to give them another chance. Our server John D made my birthday dinner exceptional, I highly recommend that you request him.

Ocean Hai was very enjoyable to dine at as hotel guests. I will be returning as a local. It is a great place to dine and watch the sunset. The surf and turf roll was fabulous as well as the shrimp tempura roll with mango. It was decorated beautifully for the holidays. The overall atmosphere seemed a little snobby, the workers were very upright but friendly to us. The process they used to expedite orders seems old school and not efficient. Just some feedback, but overall great food and service. Looking forward to returning

My wife and I stopped at the hotel for our 20-year wedding anniversary and booked in for a meal at the restaurant in the hotel . What can I say? The food was fantastic, and the staff were all amazing too. we sat outside and watched the sunset. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting here. I would book here again.

Our experience at the restaurant was 10/10. We came to celebrate my proposal to my girlfriend and they decorated the table with pink roses and a beautiful menu. They gave us a bottle of wine and the food was exquisite, as was the service. Thank you very much for giving us an incredible evening.

Enjoyed it! I had dinner and ordered room service. The golden hai roll was fabulous. Guilty pleasure roll was good too, although the cheese type was not my favorite. The edamame was SO good. I had several orders while staying at the Wyndham lol. Service was lovely and the screened outdoor patio was very comfy with a great view. Not cheap, but worth it for convenience!

Absolutely fabulous restaurant! I had the miso soup and Pad Thai with duck. The miso soup was delicious! Plus on Wednesdays they have half price bottles! My duck was so delicious and tender. If you are thinking of going here for a nice upperclass finner experience....go! Also...go for the sunset!

We had dinner here and were very happy with our meal. The views are great overlooking the water. The service was excellent. They were able to make slight modifications for my plant based/vegan diet. Everything tasted really good. Overall we really enjoyed our meal and would definitely go back.

A wonderful evening! We hosted a Welcome Party/Rehearsal Dinner 11/01/2024 for 100 guests. Everything was amazing! The whole roasted pig was phenomenal and a great add to the delicious buffet. The passed hors dourvres were excellent!! Nina, Ami and the staff were fantastic!! Great service and such nice people.

Fantastic night out! Top deck had great views of the marina. Sat on the comfy couches and waited for our table. All the food was very flavorful and our server was extremely friendly.

Marina Cantina hosted our Welcome dinner for our wedding weekend on the Friday evening before our wedding on Saturday. We had never visited the venue and we planned it from Arizona! Nina was amazing in helping us plan the menu and events of the day - final headcount was due the week before so we greatly appreciated that flexibility! We had our own tent outside with a private bar line, wristbands to indicate who was in our party, and the service and food was impeccable! Our guests were very complimentary of the atmosphere, food, and service level of the staff. There was live music that evening and I got to dance with my uncle to his favorite song! Everyone had a wonderful time and lots of laughs. 10/10 recommend!

Food was pretty good, however I can’t recommend the seafood enchiladas. Couldn’t tell there was any seafood and too much rice filling. The Fajitas were great! The Key lime pie was a little on the frozen side. Margaritas are good

We attended a beach wedding reception here at Marina Cantina. Food was good, buffet style presentation and bar drinks were well made. The wait staff was poorly dressed for a wedding reception. I get it... it's a beach bar and they just didn't dress for the occasion for catered service.

Disappointing Service, Great Appetizers – Not Worth a Full Dinner Visit We decided to try this place despite seeing mixed reviews. We were seated quickly and the atmosphere was nice, but the service was frustrating from the start. After sitting for 20 minutes with no service, we noticed a couple who arrived after us already had drinks, chips, salsa, and had ordered appetizers. My husband went to the front to let them know we were still waiting. That’s when we finally got water and chips. It took another 5 minutes to meet our waitress, who apologized and took our order. One of our appetizers came out wrong—not sure if it was a server or kitchen mistake. She said she’d bring us more water, but we didn’t see her again until just before our dinner arrived. At that point, we were nearly out of chips, and no one thought to bring more—even when they delivered the queso and guac. We had to ask again for more chips and water, and to make sure we weren’t charged extra for the missing chorizo in the appetizer. It still took another 5–7 minutes. By the time everything arrived, both appetizers and entrees were on the table at once. The appetizers and sides were delicious. Unfortunately, the entrées were bland and lukewarm. My tacos al pastor were especially disappointing. The waitress mentioned it was only her fifth day, which we understand. Everyone’s new at some point, and we were kind to her. But she clearly needed more support—and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all, with only a few couples and one small group dining. In summary: the food was hit-or-miss and the service was slow and disorganized. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a full meal—maybe just stop in for chips, drinks, and an appetizer if you're feeling patient. The one start is for the good food we did have and understanding she's new..we will have her 20% because we were feeling understanding.

These people own a few different restaurants in Clearwater. I tried something different at this location for breakfast, the breakfast tacos. They were some of the worst I’ve ever had. I would definitely not order these again. I added hot sauce to try to add some flavor. They truly lacked any taste. They didn’t seem to have the least bit of seasoning on them. My wife had two eggs fried hard. She enjoyed them. My tacos came with Gouda grits. They were some of the best grits I’ve ever had at a restaurant. They were so good! I would definitely order these again grits again, just not the tacos. 🌮

Great food. Black Cherry Margarita Mocktail was terrible. Stuffed Fish w crab cake was great and the oysters were fairly good. I’ve had better.

I’d give 6 stars if I could. Outstanding service from Johnny, amazing food (get the Grouper with coconut rice!) and a laid back atmosphere. Perfect for locals or travelers alike. I had an excellent Piña Colada, tasted very fresh and well balanced. Excellent location and an overall wonderful experience for dinner. They had live music on the Friday I dined. I highly recommend.

Came here for brunch on our final day of vacation, right next to the hotel we were staying at. Would not recommend their breakfast/brunch, can't speak to lunch as it may be different and hopefully better. Got the crab benedict and French toast. Eggs were WAY over (supposed to be runny center, was yolk was firm. Might as well have hard boiled it at that point). Really didn't have much hollandaise on it. The French toast was bland and dry, have had better at a continental breakfast at a hotel or at a hospital. Nothing redeeming about the food, however, our server was nice and fast... Only reason this review isnt 1 star.

Great food, awesome atmosphere, the staff are extremely friendly and oh yeah the young lady behind the counter I don't remember her name but she worked at the bar and made us awesome bloody Marys. Fresh shrimp and just a beautiful location. We can't wait to go back.

I had the filet mignon. It was actually decent for a hole in the wall place. Mashed potatoes were a bit bland. It seems geared more towards tourist tropical drink bar. Came back later with work group. Tried the berry margarita. It was great.

Beautiful beachfront location - literally steps away from the sand. Can’t beat the view! Our server Cat was awesome - very friendly and attentive and brought drink refills, etc. For $20/person plus parking, food was average - nothing special. I’m an avid ice tea drinker and the tea here had zero taste whatever, as though it was watered down - even though I intentionally didn’t have ice - very odd.

Beachfront! Great views! Great prices!! Vacation mode activated in here. Staff is super as well!!! We had Grouper bites and the Seared Tuna. Both fabulous. Not pictured coconut shrimp basket. Very good!

Palm Pavilion is a must-do in Clearwater. I’ve been here many times. It’s right on the beach and the live music is always amazing. It’s always been busy when I’ve gone, so I’d recommend a reservation if you want a table. We sat at the bar and got good service. We tried the gator bites and really liked them! We’ll be back next time we’re are in town!

Haven't been here since the Hurricane damage in 2024 and the food, service and atmosphere is amazing like before. They have renovated the interior but kept the vibe I was used to. The food menu is still awesome as they're working on bringing back some items from before. I had their blackened chicken and shrimp grill combo and the taste was awesome. You can't beat the amazing view of the beach with great food.

Location location location 🌅 🏖️ We love this place and have been going there for years every time we come stay in Clearwater Beach. It’s remained very consistent and I like that a lot. It’s our favorite place in Clearwater Beach in fact. They have a great outside/inside bar that wraps around two sides and back inside. Lots of sitting space indoors and outdoors. But it does get busy for sunsets every day. It’s right on the beach, great view of the white sand, gulf and the sunsets there are just amazing. We love drinking frozen pina coladas while enjoying the view. We had a perfect sunset Saturday night and awesome live entertainment. The place was on fire 😆 we happened to see fireworks in the background at the same time. What a great evening. The coconut shrimp is one of our go-to as well as the grouper sandwich and chicken sandwich. We also sometimes go there right from the beach for a midafternoon snack, a basket of fries and pina colada 😊👍 Good place to hang out with a drink the afternoon at bar outside but in the shade of the Florida sun and with a view. We walk there from wherever we stay in CWB, parking may be difficult during peak season. Or take the trolley. All in all we just love the place. The location is perfect whether mid day for a break from the sun or for a dinner with sunset view and live music. Highly recommend it. Really feels like vacation on an island 🏝️😀

This place has a great happy hour! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was nice. It is in walking distance to the pier to. The lobster rolls was so delicious and my husband enjoyed his stuffed Mahi dish. The server was professional and attentive making dinner suggestions and staying on top of our drinks. We will definitely be back!

Overall, our server was very friendly and it was a busy time during the happy hour. We ordered low country boil, grouper cakes, and five oyster shucks for the happy hour. The oysters are what you get for $6, smaller in size but overall not too bad. It was a busy time, so it took awhile for us to get our food. The grouper cakes were pretty good, and came out hot and crispy with a nice larger portion. However, we were disappointed with the low country boil, as it was not worth the price of $30. We expected a bigger portion of clams, mussels, and potatoes, but it seemed like there were barely any shrimp and seafood in it. The soup is tomato base and didn't seem to have much flavor. It didn't even come with the garlic bread as advertised. With that being said, I moderately recommend the grouper cakes but low country boil is not worth it. And remember, there is no free parking on the area!

Great food, decent service and simple atmosphere. We had the Cajun pasta, grouper cakes, shrimp and grits, and grilled grouper. Worth the trip but parking is a challenge. Park by the beach and walked over ($3/hour).

They did a cook your catch for us and their preparation was amazing! We did the tacos with fried and blackened for our preparation. They were amazing! Great service and food was incredible!!!

So we tried this place based on Google reviews for breakfast. We ended up coming back here 4 times in 4 days because the food was so good. We went for breakfast the first 2 times. Had the blueberry danish pancakes which were awesome, then the next day had the cantina Benedict. This might have been my favorite breakfast of all time it was so good. My wife had the avocado toast which was like none I'd ever seen before. The presentation was unbelievable. We came back for key lime pie one night and then back again for a ribeye at the bar. That steak was one of the best we've had, cooked perfectly. Drinks were also good. Oh and you have to try their key lime pie! Atmosphere of this place is very relaxed and laid back, no crazy loud music. All of servers and our bartender were all very nice and did a great job! This was our favorite spot while visiting Clearwater. We will be back!

First time here but definitely not the last !! Our server Rosie was a gem, LOVED the food, you can taste the difference in freshness. She was so kind and made an effort to make this a memorial experience. We got calamari, fish tacos and a grouper sandwich.

Wow! We were looking for something to eat and stumbled on Rumba! Why haven’t I been here before! The place was busy! A very good sign of something great! Saw lots of orders going out as well “To Go” orders…also a good sign!! When we arrived we went into this cute outdoor seating area with umbrellas surrounded by tropical landscape. A tiki style bar in the middle and inside dining. We chose to sit inside as the sun was setting soon and the temps were dropping with a light breeze. We sat and were immediately greeted by Coco M. Many servers and staff were working so they were not shorthanded at all. Within the first 5 minutes we already had our beverages and these mini corn muffins delivered to the table. They were a gift to us while we waited for our food. Drizzled with cinnamon and sugar butter it was a perfect starter. The menu is vast with many options. We chose the Fisherman’s Platter because the fish was Cod, served also with shrimp and scallops (fried) and came with two sides. The mashed potatoes were great! I also had the cranberry stuffing but it was a little sweet for me as I like a more savory stuffing. Mom enjoyed it. She had the Oysters baked in a cream sauce covered in melted cheese. She also had the meatloaf over mashed potatoes and a side of mixed vegetables (yellow squash, carrots and broccoli). Her meatloaf was awesome! Very flavorful and a big portion. It took me a minute to like the sauce but I was hooked. Smothered also in fried onion straws. I will get that next visit. There will be a next visit and we live 3 and 4 counties north of Pinellas/Clearwater. Already planning to come back and bring my sisters. Go check it out! Trying to take the wife to as many of my favorite Clearwater restaurants as possible, I kept trying to get in here. Unfortunately, the place is super packed for dinner time and never any parking spots. So we came on an early Sunday afternoon and got right in. Upon walking up, the place has a great beach/pirate vibe to it. Tiki bar, decor, it's all great. They have a ton of homemade sauces and desserts, too. You also get complimentary muffins which were very tasty!! We ordered chicken nachos for the app and dinners of Hogfish sandwich and Hawaiian pulled pork platter. Then the Black Magic rum cake for dessert. The chicken nacho plate was HUUUGE!! I'm not kidding when I say 4 people could have shared it. It was delicious, too. My Hogfish Cuban type sandwich was excellent. The wife loved the BBQ pork. We split the rum cake, which had a homemade rum sauce. Very good. This is more of a local spot being a few miles from the beach area buy if you visit Clearwater, make time to come here. It's one of Clearwaters' best restaurants!!

Simply delicious! I was holding my baby, so I couldn't take photos, but everything we had was delicious. I had the fisherman's platter, and their drink with coconut milk, and my husband had hogfish sandwich. Everything from the cornbread muffins, all the way down to the homemade tarter sauce, was excellent! Our server was wonderful, too. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful meal with friends on an extra busy Saturday night. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather and music. All of our meals were perfect! The filet, shrimp, pasta and drinks were delicious, nicely portioned and fairly priced. We will be back!!

Went here last night for a date. Everyone was extremely courteous and while other folks had been waiting for a while, we were seated immediately at a table for 4 though we were two people. I ordered the pasta con vongole, it was very good! It had only about 12 vongole, but it was al dente and seasoned properly! We also ordered a pizza and that too was very good a wee bit sotto cotto, could have used a few more minutes but excellent none the less, it was just like a pizza you’d get in Italy! My boyfriend got eggplant and it was suffocated in cheese. Too much cheese,not a presentation you’d see in Italy, but he liked it. Our servers were very nice and I even got to speak Italian with one of the gentleman. The atmosphere was super loud and the table next to us were very animated, not the restaurants fault but I think if I were to go again I’d have lunch there or an early dinner. Nice to see a restaurant that has very reasonable prices. Quality food and quality ingredients. Alla prossima!

I've always wanted to try a pizza place that was visited by Dave Portnoy. So while on vacation, the wife and I went and checked out Cristino's. It's a very nice place entering, nice pizzeria feel to it. Outdoor seating available. When we walked in the Hostess stated it was a 15 min wait. So we went and stood outside to wait. After 35 mins of waiting, I went in to check on the table. She stated I was 2nd in line. Eventually got our table. We sat down and ordered mozzarella stick app and a pepperoni pizza. Mozzarella sticks were decent. I'd lean towards them being frozen and not hand rolled. The pizza was very good. I can see why Dave gave it a 7.9. Some of the better pizza I had. Then we got free samples of Gelato which was amazing. Definitely order that if you come here. I would have given this place a 4 star but when your hostess tells me it's a 15 min wait and it's more 40 mins, I'm not impressed. She needs to do better than that. You will upset customers like that. We won't be back for a 2nd round.

First of all... the best thing you did was hire Jose. He's absolutely the best. 2nd, the food literally makes you so happy. The pizza with the fig reduction was immaculate. The spaghetti carbonara was amazing! The Gelato finished off everything just right. Thank you for not jacking your prices super high and giving us such a great experience. My new favorite place!

Stopped in after a day at the beach. A young lady gave us great service. Unfortunately, I can't remember her name. The pizza was some of the best I've ever had. It's a little crowded with decor but a nicely done and the restroom was clean.

Wait was worth it. Taste, portions, prices were 100% amazing! Pizza was perfection Wings no sauce with onions were delicious Salmon and veggies was perfect! Chicken parm was tender and delicious!! We went here twice while visiting Clearwater. The quattro formaggi pizza was our favorite. The meats are delicious on pizzas also. We also tried the Bianca which was also super good. Pizza reheats very well if you have leftovers. We tried several desserts. The ricotta cake and flourless chocolate cake are very good. The Gelato is the best I have had. The tiramisu was also good, not too sweet. Servers were friendly. We sat in the outdoor seating.

It was very busy. Music and the whole place was a bit loud. Please don't order pizza here. I don't order it but saw a couple dude get it. Really not the right place for pizza unless you are desperate for pie... I will say coconut rice is darn good, who knew! Sea food is ok. It's typical for what's around the area. Not sure i would go bad for a second round.

Staff was great helping navigate menu items for allergy concerns. I loved the tuna bowl so much, I went back another day for a second round! My husband enjoyed the breakfast pizza as well.

I loved this place, their food was so good! This had the best clam chowder I've had before, the frozen strawberry lemonade was not overly sweet, and the spicy chicken was so good I got two of them for me and my friend. I also found the atmosphere to be pleasant, I enjoyed the rainbow fish and the bathroom sign

This place has some good food!!! I tried tried the crab boil with cajun seasoning (I didn't care for the cajun seasoning) BUT THE CRABS were the biggest, freshest crab legs I've EVER had in my life. Seriously! I can't stop thinking about them and will definitely go back! The steaks looked amazing and the clam chowder was the best I've ever had because they load it with class and bacon and it's really next level. The atmosphere gets a 4 only because it's tight inside and loud because it was very crowded when we there and they had a live band but it was a Saturday night. Please check them out if you want some good food or seafood while in Clearwater.

Arizona girl was here for the CRAB LEGS and they did not disappoint!!! Our server had recommended the crab dinner (fire roasted) and it was so delicious! I will be thinking about this food forever. Thanks for a great experience.

We ate here for breakfast on our last day in Clearwater Beach. Too bad, because we could’ve used their 10% off coupon for the next day — and we would have, had we stayed longer! As it was, we enjoyed our breakfast very much. My Bloody Mary was fantastic, with the bacon still warm from the griddle and two plump shrimps succulent & cooked to perfection — not at all dried out as in other places. They substituted English muffins with their biscuits in my Egg Benedict with crab cakes at my request (Hey, we’re in the South!) The eggs were poached perfectly. My husband’s Meat Lovers Three-egg Omelette was very generous & tasty. But the best part was the potatoes- crisp, perfectly fried, but not greasy at all! Liz, our waitress was kind, efficient & attentive with the coffee & water. The hostess Genna and Andrew were also great & pitched in aa it got busier. Overall, it was a wonderful way to say goodbye to CB, with a very full stomach and pleasant memories.

I love this place... If you can get in! Bartender is super friendly even though she was super busy! I got the fire roasted Bairdi crab... Delicious. Live music too made for good vibes.

What wonderful experience!! Once again Google reviews didn’t let us down. Wildflower Cafe was a delightful experience from the meeting we walked in the door. Cam was our server and greeted us with such warmth and enthusiasm, she answered questions about the menu and went above and beyond to make accommodations so that we could have exactly what we wanted! We enjoyed an omelette with breakfast potatoes, the omelette was light and fluffy and densely packed with veggies, the potatoes were so well seasoned and some of the best we’ve ever had!! We also ordered the breakfast wrap and made a few modifications that were executed perfectly! I love that they make the egg the exact size and shape as the wrap so that each bite has egg and veggies. The complimentary blueberry muffin was the best ever, soft, light, flavorful and full of real blueberries. Their fruit jam was addictive, I had to get some to go. Pam was attentive and on top of every detail. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for a great start to the day!

I love coming here!! The food is amazing, the presentation of it is on point every time, and it tastes delicious. Every time I come here I am blown away by how good the food is. Not to mention the menu is perfect, I’m a picky eater and can find many things I would like. It’s a small town place that can’t hold a lot of people- it’s very cute, small and personal. I just come here for the food, every time the chef blows me away. I did have to wait a bit for a table but that’s okay, it’s worth the wait. I wish they had more outdoor seating. Overall, I highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed!!

Great breakfast hidden gem. We ordered the special shrimp salad and it was delicious. They have a huge assortment of teas which is hard to find in a breakfast restaurant. Their sconce was perfect! Great service as well.

We absolutely love this place! The food is always delicious, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is both charming and clean. It’s one of our favorite spots for family brunch—our little one has a blast every time we go. And of course, we never leave without stopping by the adorable little store they have!

My son took me here for Mother's Day dinner and wow it was a treat. I had the grouper and my son had the fillet.!! The piano player was so elegant and the music was so great we definitely tipped her… But our drinks and our food were so amazing. Then we finished it off with baked Alaska and our waiter was so friendly and we had a really wonderful time we were dressed casually and everyone welcome to us and it is such a nice restaurant, but the food quality was amazing. Definitely recommend.!!

We left with full hearts and full bellies, would recommend for a special night out!

Spectacular bourbon selection. My wife's favorite place for French onion soup. I'm not a big soup fan but even I think it is great. Burger is well seasoned but a little overpriced for what it is. 2/1/25 Update - Had to drop overall rating and food down to 3 stars. Extremely disappointed in the only sides available with my last meal. Porkchop was great, the whole reason I stopped in. Mashed potatoes and the broccoli were probably two of the worst sides I've had at a restaurant. Zero seasoning in the potatoes and broccoli was undercooked and no seasoning.

This place is good but the prices are extremely high for the quality of food they are offering. Service is great. The fried chicken was delicious. NY strip steak was ok. Nice atmosphere. I don’t think I would return but it was a decent meal.

We ate here on our last night stay in Clearwater for my wife's birthday weekend. I had asked around for a great steak and seafood place. Several people recommended the Beachcomber. We were seated at a wonderful corner table close to the pianist, believe it was Kim, who she was absolutely entertaining all night. Then our waitress Melanie introduced herself with a warming welcome and asked of course if this was our first time dinning with them. She gave us a history of the restaurant and family who own it. Melanie recommended the perfect apps, wine, entrées and deserts. Her service was absolutely amazing. Never needed for anything while we dined. Food was excellent and the service put it over the top for us. Thank you for making my wife's birthday a memorable dinning experience! We will definitely will dine here again when visiting.

I can not comprehend the number of higher reviews. I simply do not get it. The 1980's called. They want their decorations and menu back. The wait staff in very bored voices explain that the place has been there for 70 some odd years (it shows about 40 of them). The food - WAY less than mediocre. The onion ring (appetizer) was one of the worst I have ever had. The seafood (Shrimp and Scallops) were brutally over cooked. The "side of beans" that everyone got were all untrimmed, uncleaned and nearly uncooked. Then, well then there were the INSTANT MASHED POTATOES!!!!! Seriously? Instant mashed potatoes? Yes, we are in the 1980's! (instant mashed in photo - they even look instant!) Disgusting. The "Fillet Mignon" was quite CLEARLY a Petit Bistro, or Shoulder Petite cut. FAR less costly and tender than a real fillet. We went as a four top (two couples) and when we asked to separate the check the waitress (was she not a bundle of joy) simply divided the check in two equal parts. Needless to say, as new owners of a Condo just south of the "downtown" Clearwater area - we will not be back and will not bring guests to Beachcomber. So many other fabulous options so close. Seriously, they do even try. Note to Piano lady...."Swing Low Sweet Chariot" is never, not ever a good selection for dinner music.

Great food. I have the shrimp and my wife had the snapper. Great service. Our waitress was amazing. Great atmosphere. Loved the decor. Great location in the heart of everything. Great live piano music. The music did not start until 6:15 pm so plan to arrive at 6pm. Great toilets. Everything was clean. It was not crowded when we went on a Saturday night in October.

The service was great, we went right at opening. The place is beautifully decorated. We had the chile relleno and shrimp baja tacos. The tacos were good but not anything I would crave to go back to. It was served with a tartar sauce on the side which is not authentic to me. The tortillas were great, tacos should be made with corn not flour tortillas. Points for that. They charge for chips and salsa, hmm. Overall was good, enjoyed the ambience but didn't stand out as a place I crave to go back to again.

I had an amazing experience getting to know Tina! The food was amazing and the patio was a great vibe. The queso gave me an otherworldly texture experience. the atmosphere was really chill and fun! we sat on the patio. Best Mexican Food in all of dunedin! Not gonna lie though i be farting like crazy all day 🫦. Jocelyn our surver was great and was very attentive. the music was great, maybe add some maluma or ozuna?!

Lively, colourful Mexican bar/restaurant serving Mexican beers and delicious food at reasonable prices. I had the Dos Moles sauces over pork (on request!) which had a rich flavour combination from which I made tacos with a side dish of cactus salad and with thick refried beans. Great all round experience!

We ordered from the Lunch Menu and tried their new Tacos de Birria and Enchiladas Verde plates recommended by Laurie—both were absolutely delicious! To top off the meal, we enjoyed their rich and creamy flan, which was the perfect sweet finish. Highly recommend!

Stopped in on a chilly Monday for lunch and were greeted with a warm smile from the hostess who seated us with Shelly. Shelly was pleasant and professional and helped us with our menu decisions. Food arrived quickly and was warm and delicious. I ordered a beef burrito, which I just assumed would be ground beef, but it was the most tender and delicious roast type beef! Will definitely eat here again.

GO here if you are Gluten-free! They have the most amazing Gluten-free bread, and everything is either Gluten-free or can be made to be. The food is fantastic and the oysters were amazing! You get fresh bread with 3 dipping sauces....hands down so delish! The service was amazing. They make you valet park, but it's door to door service. I tipped the guy a $5 after he offered and have us water for the road. The sunset from the restaurant or beach after is amazing. Highly recommend!

Dane was our server he was super knowledgeable about the entire menu. The ingredients were amazing from the organic vegetables to the amazing cuts of meat. The dessert was INCREDIBLE. Can’t wait to go back to try the sushi!

We loved dining here! We had excellent service from Amanda (who was kind enough to take our photo outside) and the host was accommodating when we were a few minutes late to our reservations due to traffic. The food was amazing with great portion sizes. We got the lobster and filet - both great! About $65 each and $15 per drink. Also came with good bread. There is outdoor and indoor seating and we got a good view of the sunset from inside. We were not hotel guests but were given free 3 hour valet by being restaurant customers.

Our experience here was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to our incredible waiter Juan Carlos. He went above and beyond to make us feel special and taken care of from start to finish. Every dish was absolutely delicious—beautifully presented and full of flavor. And the sunset view from the patio made the evening even more magical. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Overall, Carreta on the Gulf impresses with its high-quality sushi and standout coconut shrimp, but be prepared for some dishes that don’t quite match their price point in portion size. Absolutely beautiful! Caretta on the Gulf is the restaurant to go to if you want a fine dining experience by the beach! Amazing view, great food, excellent staff. Our server Devin, what an amazing and authentic guy. My boyfriend and I were extremely satisfied with how our night turned out at Caretta on the Gulf. Devin is a great guy and his experience with what’s on the menu will have you wanting to try almost everything. He was very genuine and very helpful. So was the rest of the staff. It was extremely beautiful and I definitely recommend eating at this restaurant, especially if you are able to have outdoor seating. I can’t wait to come back to Florida and eat at this restaurant again. This restaurant has great potential to be a five-star dining experience. The appetizers and main courses were fantastic, deserving of five stars. However, the desserts were disappointing, with the best option being peanut butter. The view of the pool and ocean is lovely, and there are plenty of parking spaces. Unfortunately, the service fell short of expectations for such a high-end establishment; as shown in the picture, our table was not attended to as often as we expected.

The lobster bisque was great, but the cioppino was bland. I had to ask for salt. Also, a little bug kept landing on the table, which was annoying. For a $200 meal, I expected more. The worst part was the television. My husband had it in his view the entire time. How can you justify these prices when you have a tv on the entire time? And without volume, no less.

Terrible food, doesn't have fish and doesn't have seafood , I don't know but it looks like the chef doesn't like what they are doing or doesn't like the job , the view is amazing , it's a waste of time, I was in vacation with the family and I wasted money and time. I ask to seat in a normal table, I ask to put the towel in the table, and they don't have fish or seafood , really ?? Look at the restaurant's name ???? The salad was terrible, how it's possible.

The grouper was tender, fresh, and beautifully seasoned; the tremendous risotto easily threatened to outshine the star of the dish. They also serve outstanding, customized hearth-cooked pizza. The clean, modern dining space overlooks the ocean. Yet half of the dining area is a bar lounge including TVs with sports programming. Even with reservations, they seat fine dining guests in the lounge and even in the evening, strict rules keep the TVs on. (You cannot choose a specific side of the dining area when making reservations.) In this mixed environment, the table next to you may have casual diners enjoying a boisterous pizza party. There seemed to be plenty of staff, but focus and attentiveness was not fully consistent with a high end, $100+ per person, dining experience. The food and sunset view will likely exceed your expectations; other aspects of your dining experience may not.

Food was amazing. Kathy did a great job at welcoming us and giving excellent recommendations! I got strawberry pound came French toast & hubby got broken egg biscuit sandwich Everything on the menu sounded delicious. We will definitely be back and bring friends next time.

Denise was fantastic! She was so friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, and impressed our entire big group of 8! I especially appreciated her understanding of the gluten free options which there was an entire separate menu for. She was spot on, the gluten free pancakes were incredible. This was the best food and service we’ve gotten here in Clearwater! Food was outstanding and reasonably priced; I got the cinnamon roll French toast and it was honestly one of the best things I’ve ever had period. Bryce our server was super sweet and friendly, very helpful with refills and recommendations. If you eat anywhere in Clearwater let it be here!! Will be coming back !

What an amazing find! It's the first time in a long time that we've thoroughly enjoyed a breakfast/ brunch place. We ordered three different items from the menu and 3 different drinks (2 mocktails and 1 cold brew), and they were all delicious!!! The seasonal soft shell crab 🦀 scramble was hands down one of the best soft shell crab we've ever eaten. Can't wait till we go back again.

Great atmosphere, good cold drinks and an unreal view. Would just drink here and not eat the food left a bit to be desired. It was not bad but not great. Would come back and belly up to the bar though.

Had Spicy Pineapple Margarita, Bourbon Blackberry Smash, and glass of Chardonnay. Must try Bourbon Blackberry Smash. Our waitress Mossy provided excellent service and knew the menu well. Highly recommended.

The BEST beachside tiki bar in Clearwater! We went twice during our 4-day stay! The vibes and views are incredible, I could’ve sat here all day. Drinks were 10/10 (ranch waters and skinny margaritas!!), service was absolutely perfect (shout out to Keith, he’s SO personable!). Food was exactly what we wanted - We got chips and queso, a buffalo chicken wrap, and the jerk chicken sandwich. Very filling! I can’t wait to come back to Sandbar!!

This place is perfect for a sunset viewing and their tuna tartare is a killer. Returned the following day just for tuna (highly recommended!)

Had a nice lunch at this place on Sunday. Didn’t get to try the lobster rolls as they were out, but the crab cakes we ordered were of exceptionally high quality. Decent amount of succulent crab meats in each crab cakes. We failed to finish the whole thing as the portion was rather large.

We were staying nearby and saw lots of good reviews for this place so thought we'd try it. We sat outside with a lovely view of the water (and lots of dolphins!) I had the burger with Swiss cheese and onion rings. The patty itself was ok, but nothing special. Not cooked medium as requested (no pink inside) However it was still acceptable to eat. It came in a really really lovely soft fresh bun with loads of cheese and beer good onion rings. Also a large amount of really nice fries. My wife got the chicken tenders. 5 big pieces of really good chicken with a lovely crispy coating. The view of the water is amazing and we were lucky to see loads of dolphins (some jumping properly out of the water!) The woman who served us (sorry I forgot her name) was really good. Checked on us, gave us everything we needed and was very friendly. Even though the burger wasn't up to my standard the setting, service, chicken, and the prices were all great, and would definitely recommend this place, especially if you can time it right for the sunset.

We got crab legs …butter and lemon. The NOLA gumbo was really good. Had also a burger but it was not very seasoned.

Great beach location! Lots of food options and we all enjoyed what we ordered (chicken and grouper tacos). We were able to be seated right away and the service was perfect.

Jordan and JR were amazing! There was a system glitch, and we waited a while for our appetizers that we were absolutely fine with doing because it was busy. The lovely MOD took care of our appetizers. Which was absolutely amazing. There's no parking. They have fans on each corner of the patio, and bar, and an upstairs. We even got to go food because we got too full to finish our meal. And when we got back to the hotel, the food was still amazing at dinner time.

Bartender was great and food was good. Ended up sitting and eating at 3rd floor bar - I was on 45 min wait list for a table but quickly realized that wasn’t gonna happen before sunset. I got beer and the bairdi crab 1.5 lbs with 2 sides of peel and eat shrimp. The crab was amazing - the shrimp maybe could’ve been somehow soaked in the spices more - they all came off and it was pretty plain when you peeled it. It was nice that they cut the peel to make that easier. Pet peeve - counter, menus, everything so sticky. I was never called for a table even after an hour and finally just told the hostess in 3rd floor to take m off list. Might go again.

So good, we came a second time during our 3 day trip. Sometimes there is a long wait(20-45min), but we just went to the bar to either get a drink while waiting or just eat the bar if seats were available. Highly recommend the calamari (not chewy, breading to meat ratio was on point) and the boils. Cajun sauce was YUM. I thought the grouper sandwich and crab cake was ok, not the highlight for me. Service was quick. Great view of the beach and sunset. Also tried the other place nextdoor, and it just wasn't as good as Crabbys.

We started our vacation having lunch here. Our server (Dylan) and all the others we observed were fantastic!! We ended our vacation here watching the sunset and the bartenders (Kyle & Marcus) were again top notch!! The food, the drinks and the service were all great - a rare find!! The location is also fabulous! I don’t usually write reviews - but this is a great place! Highly recommend!

Food was amazing, we all got something that we wanted, plenty of options for non fish eaters too. We had the Clam Chowder, best I’ve ever had (I’ve tried it numerous times and have not liked it), we got the Blackened Grouper with shrimp and it was really tasty. Sausage and chicken Alfredo for my non adventurous daughter and she loved it, her friend got the Boom Boom Shrimp tacos and she ate them up (they were not too spicy). Anyways if you’re in town and need some great food here’s your place.

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant last week. This was actually our second visit in two days — we had just gone fishing and brought our catch here to be prepared, as we knew this restaurant offers fish cooking services. When we called ahead, we were told the price for preparing our own catch was $10.99 per pound. However, when we arrived, the server never confirmed this pricing with us and simply said they could handle it. We trusted them based on our previous visit and agreed. To our surprise, when the bill came, we were charged $13.98 for a single “portion” of fish. We only brought in seven small fish, and the filets should have weighed about one pound total. Yet we were charged $41.94 (before tip and service charge) for just fries and our own fish. There was no clear breakdown or explanation for this excessive charge. This experience felt deceptive and exploitative. We were misled on pricing, not given any confirmation before the service, and significantly overcharged for a meal that did not even include fish provided by the restaurant. We are extremely dissatisfied and will begin the process of disputing this charge with our credit card company. We urge the restaurant to take this matter seriously and resolve it directly, as we would prefer to settle this issue with the business rather than escalate it further.

My husband and I spent a few nights in Clearwater right after getting married. We came to Crabby's on a whim our second day. We had walked around quite a bit and passed this location a couple times and always thought it looked fun and lively, so we returned for lunch. We hadn't looked at the menu beforehand but we were craving seafood. We ended up ordering calamari, lobster & crab cakes. Omg...this was seriously the best meal we had during our honeymoon and literally the BEST calamari we've ever had. The cherry peppers really make it perfect. We both still talk about the Crabby's calamari from time to time. It's that good. The market lobster we got was also phenomenal. It was huge and shelled perfectly, sweet, buttery. Even the coconut rice and slaw we had were great. I could just keep going on & on about our meal, lol. It was truly the highlight of our honeymoon meals. Thank you guys for such delicious food & a wonderful experience! We'll be back soon!

Outstanding restaurant! The seafood is amazing and the service was exceptional! If you're not a seafood lover like my wife, they have plenty of other options, great selection of beach drink specials too! Very friendly (Never Crappy) and knowledgeable staff. Clean, comfortable restaurant with outdoor/terrace type seating with beautiful beachfront and excellent sunset views! Love the location as well, right at the marina for the tours & fishing or dolphin adventures, close to shops and across the street from Clearwater Beach. Definitely my go to restaurant when I'm in the area. Hats off to the team at Crabby's Dockside Clearwater!

Good food! Pretty good service! Ok prices grouper was small and could of been not so stingy with the sides but overall decent experience. Close to all hotels nice looking view from second floor. We got one of there drinks no alcohol was really tasted and I don't drink much so lil disappointed.

This might be our favorite place in Clearwater. I got the Mahi shrimp combo, my daughter got fish and chips(they have malt vinegar) and my wife got the fire roasted crab. We started with mussels and calamari and also got drinks. If you like mojitos and coconut the coco mojito is great. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The only critique I have is that the shrimp was too salty for my wife and I, but still edible. The views from floor 3 are amazing. I will be going back to try more things.

Awesome beach bar and restaurant in a pricey neighborhood with reasonable prices. I took myself and 2 teen sons here for dinner for under $60. We got seating in about 5 minutes. Staff was friendly and fast. Food was delicious. I had the pretzel that was shaped like a fish with white slightly spicy queso. My sons had the coconut shrimp and the fried macaroni and cheese balls. Everything was delicious. Matt was our server. He was super fast and easy to find. Bar drinks were great. Their bar menu is not listed but I assure you that there is a full bar here. So glad that the fancy restaurant we were trying to go to was booked.

We went to the restaurant for our anniversary. I was really excited about eating at restaurants with fresh seafood. I was impressed with the gator tail bites. Very tender. The scallops tasted very fresh and buttery. I had the seafood pasta and it was creamy but no taste. My wife has the grouper stuffed with crab, no seasoning. The food looks great but no seasoning. The restaurant was packed so the servers were busy but kept up with the service.

Food was ready quickly and the service from Clinton was great. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio and people watching. The portion size was good and the food had good taste. My wife especially loved the crab soup. There is no onsite parking but some of the garages do offer the 1st hour of parking free.

My family and I went here after a day at the beach around 4pm on a Friday. Got seated right away by a very nice hostess. The server was super on point. The food was even better. Amazing coconut shrimp and grouper tacos. We also had the cheeseburger and the chicken tacos worth their bar fries. Absolutely delicious all the way around and decent prices as well. Great selection of music as well and a lot of shade on the tables outside. I wish I had this restaurant near my home. All around great experience!

Came for a late lunch, no wait to get a table but service was sloooooow. Got the she crab soup, my husband enjoyed it, I thought it was just ok. A little salty for my taste and very very rich, could only take 1-2 bites and my entire mouth was coated with a fat (butter I'm assuming). Lobster roll was pretty good, but definitely the Oscar grouper was the best. Fish cooked well. Can't beat the location right on the beach and we were covered with umbrellas to stay out of the heat. I personally preferred the place nextdoor (Crabbys for more seafood options) however frenchys has more burgers and sandwiches.

The cajun beat the rest! It is grilled and full of flavor. Really enjoyed the famous fries and the speedy service. I wanted to try the tacos but this will serve as an excuse to go back. Enjoy!!!

Really good service. Friendly staff. The crab soup is the best in the immediate 15 restaurants, I did have 15 crab soups over 6 days. 8/10, could be spicier. Lobster Mac is solid - 7/10 Chicken Alfredo pasta - 6/10 The garlic bread - 8/10 Honestly, underrated.

Awesome service so fast and friendly. The prices are amazing specially the daily specials. The sirloin burger was a great value. The shrimp and grits had flavor but the portion was small that was the only negative. But love that you don’t have to spend an arm and leg to have good food during your vacation. Plus so close to the beach to the shopping!

1st time trying this place and I highly recommend!! The vibes are everything you want in a restaurant close to the beach, giving "beach vibes." We were immediately seated by the host, we chose outside patio, and our waitress KK was quick and attentive. So so sweet! Patio was nice, perfect weather. Loved it! We tried the raw oysters, and I loved that it didn't give too much of that "fishy" taste. They were fresh and good! I opted for the fried shrimp specialty platter with sides of fries and coconut rice. Let me tell you some of the best tasting shrimp and coconut rice I've had, and I don't even like coconut. The fries? So fresh and crisp, light and airy. 10/10 recommend! Also tried the fried corn on the cob, and it was so flavorful! Check out this spot and ask for KK. You won't be disappointed!

There's a reason Frenchy's has been around for so long...it's GREAT!! Whether its food, drinks, appetizers.. All are phenomenal the service is top notch too . No matter which one you go to! You must get the grouper sandwich!! Best I ever had.. we like the grouper platter.. Plenty of ways to fix it too! Worth flying to Clearwater just to get that. The she crab soup is amazing!! I liked it so much that I went back for dinner, and the server remembered my drink order! This was my second time to a frenchy's in Clearwater Beach, and it was just as good as the last. The original grouper sandwich is awesome! It's the best. We also tried the grilled oysters, also great! I'm a northerner and when I see grilled Gulf oysters on the menu, I always try them! They didn't disappoint. My husband, who doesn't eat oysters ate them too! The atmosphere is beachy shack vibes, which I love. Our waitress, who was busy, was also super friendly and attentive. We love Frenchy's!

Great local hangout place. With all the billboards I was expecting a tourist trap type of restaurant. Not even close!!! The vibe, the food, and the service all added to a wonderful time.

Their signature drink, the Dockside Lemonade, was amazing. I'd never had ceviche before and decided to give it a try. While I could have done without the red snapper, it was still delicious. Their coconut rice was a little dry and of course you can never go wrong with their classic grouper sandwich. It was my first time trying it fried and it did not disappoint!

Took my parents to celebrate my father’s 90th birthday. We were running late and they were gracious about it. Upon our arrival, they told me the table was saved for us and it was one of the best seats in the house! The sunset was beautiful and we enjoyed it while having our cocktails and appetizers. The main meal came and the food was superb. The scallops were cooked to perfection over risotto, lamb chops to order, and the boulibaisse was reportedly the best. For dessert we all enjoyed a variety from key lime pie to coconut cream pie and crème brûlée. Afterwards, the waiter brought a gift certificate for a bottle of champagne to celebrate my Dad’s birthday. We literally closed the place down. Only regret, the pianist didn’t get to our table- my parents had a couple of songs they would have had her play. All in all a very special time for this major milestone celebration. Thank you!

Great views of the ocean. Daniel was our waiter and he was great! We sat outside, so as the sun started to come down it felt like it was burning our faces. The shades don’t come all the way down, but we were told the glass does protect against the UV rays. I do wish the shades came down all the way. The cauliflower “steak” piccata is $28 while a chicken entree is $29. I’m not sure that pricing logic makes sense, but I love piccata sauce, so I ordered the cauliflower dish. It did not look as pictured on the menu. It wasn’t charred at all. The sauce was very bland; I couldn’t taste any lemon or white wine flavor. And they ran out of caper berries, but didn’t say anything about it until I brought it up. They did make a new cauliflower steak that was slightly charred and had some regular capers sprinkled over it. The sauce had portions of it where you could taste the white wine or the lemon, but most of it was still bland. Needless to say, I would never order the cauliflower piccata dish again. We also had the Cesar salad, which comes with two anchovies. That seemed a bit low for the size of the salad. But overall, the salad was good. We also had the lump crab cake appetizer. That was great. No complaints there. Pure crab chunks, no breading. I loved it. And again, our server, Daniel, was great. He was always pleasant and frequently checked in.

This place was highly recommended. We enjoyed the greek salads with Salmon <mine> and shrimp <hubby's>. But the works bloody mary, $18(!), by the way, let us down. The folded over small piece of bacon was trying to trick us into thinking there were two thick pieces of bacon. Wow, really?! The views can't be beat, though.

Spectacular view of the harbour and marina. We actually watched dolphins playing in the cove while we sipped our refreshments and enjoyed the music and friendship. Super friendly service. Very clean restaurant and restrooms.

My husband took me here for my birthday. It was amazing! I loved that they have both traditional menus as well as digital menus. Being able to see pictures of your entree before you order is such a good idea! Great place for special occasions! I definitely be back!

The small pier right by the restaurant made the view even more breathtaking—such a peaceful and stunning spot to enjoy the evening. Great service, great food, and an unforgettable atmosphere. Last night, I had the pleasure of attending the Citrus Gala, a benefit event for the Dunedin History Museum, hosted at the iconic Bon Appétit in Dunedin. From the moment I arrived, it was clear why this venue remains a beloved gem in the Tampa Bay area. The setting is absolutely unparalleled. With panoramic views of St. Joseph Sound and the Gulf beyond, there simply isn’t a more picturesque waterfront dining experience in the region. As the sun set, the views transitioned from stunning to truly magical — a perfect backdrop for a special evening. The staff at Bon Appétit deserve special recognition. Throughout the event, their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail elevated the entire experience. Whether it was a passing tray of beautifully crafted hors d’oeuvres or a perfectly timed refresh of drinks, every moment felt thoughtfully orchestrated. And the food — exceptional. Each dish showcased fresh, vibrant flavors that celebrated the best of Florida’s coastal cuisine. The chefs managed to impress a diverse crowd, which is no small feat at a large-scale gala. A great place to have a meal then stick around for sunset. You can find food in an array of prices. Excellent Grouper. The nuggets were so good, we had the grouper for dinner too. They have a couple resident birds. George and Gigi. Apparently Gigi likes to hang at the bar a lot but will sneak up on your plate and steal your food!!! I found it very entertaining. Free sunset shots so everyone there can toast the end of day at the same time. We have found that we truly like any of the “Jimmy’s” that we have been to. Good food, good service, fair prices. We will be back.

Second day open after the Hurricane. Food and drinks were fast and delicious. We ate outside, hearing the waves crashing was perfect. The service was spot on, they are very happy to be back open. Definitely give these guys a shot! I had the blacked grouper sandwich and the wife got chicken tacos (subbed the grouper for chicken), both were great. The rum runner was nice and strong. Will definitely be back!

This place was a little secret hideaway within Clearwater. To be honest, I will be most likely coming here to eat. The food was amazing, the bloody Mary's are out of this world, the menu was very diverse. We ate here three times at our stay and would have eaten here more if we were here longer. Coming to Clearwater a lot, I was very thrilled to find a place that wasn't so crowded, and hot! I would recommend ANYTHING on the menu. I think we ate just about a lot of it! 🤭😝

Fish & chips were ok. No greasy, which I like. My wife had the crab encrusted salmon and it was very good! Go there for the sunset view over the Golf! They even brought out free “sunset” shots for everyone!

We ordered the BBQ baby back ribs and the caprese flatbread. The flatbread was amazing but the ribs were below average. The restaurant was located inside the hotel and hotel guest were often walking right through the restaurant to get to their pool deck. Overall would maybe eat here again.

Fun place with live music, indoor seating and outdoor seating on the water. Loved the drinks and snow crab legs which were a good price for how much you get! Great service! This restaurant is inside the hotel so no free public parking.

I had the catch of the day with rice and black beans. The beans were great. My fish was kind of dry. The shrimp salad was okay. The shrimp were good, however the salad dressing lacked flavor. I went back here and got some fish bait for a little fishing. They have everything you need here to do some fishing, from tackle to bait. Five star for the bait shop and 4 for the food.

Fun little restaurant and tackle shop. The atmosphere was nice even though it was right next to the causeway the traffic can’t be heard that much. the staff was really accommodating! The drunken shrimp was by far the best thing we had there but the fish tacos were also pretty good. I love the local beers they served, but they do not have any mixed drinks. The public bathrooms were located outside the restaurant and around the corner which was not as convenient as everyone is waiting in line for them.

Jackie was our server and she was great. The food was so so I was recommended to come here so I thought I would give it a try. Outside seating and not many tables. I was expecting more than I got.

By far the best restaurant we got to visit on our trip. There was a wait so they let us sit in the back with menus and drinks. We ordered drunken shrimp, the catch of the day platter which was mahi mahi, and the catch of the day Rueben, the platter was good but the Rueben and shrimp were phenomenal. Everything was cooked to perfection with brilliant seasoning. Our server Sherry was super friendly and helpful. Will be back.

I had the catch of the day with rice and beans. My Mom had fish tacos. They were both really good. The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly. The rice and beans were excellent. Service was a little slow; it seemed like they were down a server at a busy lunchtime. The two servers that were there, were running nonstop, trying to keep up. It is a cute, small place with outdoor seating and no air conditioning; being directly on the water, there is a breeze, which helps, but we did get warm. We recommend and will definitely be back, probably in the evening next time.

Pro Tip - get the parking code from the restaurant so you can park longer than 30 minutes. Trust on that advice. The Wahoo was amazing, fish dip, season black beans, broccoli, drunken shrimp with dipping bread and finally a mini key lime pie. Support small local spots. Oh notice the water line from Milton. Wow.

The place was recommended due to nightly specials. We went on a Monday which was burger night. My friend had the burger and fries special. I had the shrimp po boy with hush puppies, and garlic crab fries. The crab fries were awesome. The po boy was tasty. My friend was disappointed in her burger. She didn't think it tasted fresh.

We sat outside and it’s a beautiful. Easy soft rock music. Emily is our server and she friendly and personable. Hot press Cuban plate and I got 3 tacos. 2 Shrimp and 1 fish Okay 2 down and 2 to go! Yeah Frenchy’s has 4 restaurants here. I also enjoyed the smoked/fried chicken wings . Very tasty!

Seat yourself at the bar or one of the booths/tables. We ordered the Old School Grouper Sandwich, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Tenders Basket, Piña Colada and Jalepeno Hush Puppies. The grouper sandwich was flaky, crispy and well-seasoned. Hush puppies were fantastic. The chicken tenders were close to the best I’ve ever had and the fries are addicting. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was poorly constructed. It’s two tenders, tossed in buffalo sauce. The sauce soaked into the bread and the bread practically disintegrated. If the sandwich held together I have no doubts it would be amazing. The piña colada tasted like coconut milk; but some may like it like that. The sauce with the hush puppies was phenomenal. Definitely would come back. Great atmosphere, Great food and Great Service.

Pretzel is really fun shaped like a fish. Crab 🦀 fries 🍟 are a must try. Cuban was really good and has a nice mustard dressing on the side. Soup was great. So was the dessert.

It's a very cute spot with reasonable prices and good food! They have daily specials and their garlic crabby fries are amazing. Their sweet tea is really really good. Clean bathrooms. Overall, really happy with the service, prices and food! I love that we stumbled upon this little spot!

This is a great restaurant and bar with tasty seafood and an old-school vibe. The place is small, so expect to have to wait for a table. The menu features a wide variety of food, though the seafood seems to be the star. We tried the crab fries and they were absolutely delicious. The street corn was also quite tasty. They do daily specials on food and beer, and prices in general are relatively affordable. They are kid friendly as well, and our daughters enjoyed their chicken tenders. Service was friendly and our food came out relatively quickly despite it being busy.

We have been local for 8 years and have never been. Olivia was great! Will definitely return!

I have eaten here twice this week during my stay, and this is definitely my favorite spot out of many that I tried. If I lived here this would be my morning breakfast 🍳 and coffee ☕️ spot daily. All of the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. My eggs, toast, and potatoes were cooked perfectly each time I visited, and the coffee is just how I like it. You definitely want to try this place out if you are looking for an authentic diner. They are located on the beach, not north or south, just the beach 😀. Go support this local business the next time you are in Clearwater. You will not regret it. Make this three times this week. John and his crew were amazing on my last visit here today. If you want good food and good coffee in the presence of good people, please go support this local restaurant. Hope to see these fine people again next year.

If you're lucky enough to get Daneen as your server, you're going to have a great meal and be wonderfully hosted! She made us feel right at home here in Clearwater with her quick wit and southern spunk. Our food was all very good, a couple egg sammies, a salad and a Philly Omelet (my delicious dish). My daughter asked if we can return tomorrow because the other menu options looked great, too! Highly recommend Beach Shanty Cafe! **update** we went back the next day, and it was amazinger! We were cheerfully greeted, and seated. I got an eggs Benedict today, and we split pancakes. We all enjoyed our food again today and were glad we returned.

Hubby & I LOVE LOVE this place!! I was here back in August 2020 with my sister on a vacation from IL during the pandemic... Yes the pandemic! You wouldn't of known back then in FL... We sat outside and REALLY enjoyed! Fast Forward 5 years... I now live in FL! SO Hubby & I came to Clearwater on Christmas Day & decided to go here, I remember it being good... YEP .. 5 YRS LATER. DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! Coffee is just perfect, food was amazing still! Also came here for my birthday in March... Planning to go again on Easter (if open) 😉 If ever in Clearwater by Pier 60.... Immediately when I walked in I got good vibes from this place. They gave us my favorite jam and a guy gave us AAA batteries for my toothbrush, as he overheard us talking about needing them. It was also the best pancake I've ever had. 5 stars. Coming back tomorrow

This is our favorite breakfast spot in Clearwater! We were back to visit family and it was just as good as I remembered. Pancakes are my son's favorite. I love the Greek omelet and home fries. Daughter liked the egg sandwich, but was bigger than she could finish. Portions are generous. Coffee is basic, but hot and fresh. The servers and cooks are all fun characters that make you feel important. Can't wait to go back!

Incredible and beachy! The Beach Shanty is definitely the jewel of Clearwater Beach. The atmosphere was exactly what you expect from a beach getaway restaurant with food to match. The breakfast was delicious and our family made it our favorite breakfast spot for our entire Spring Break. Everyday we were greeted by John and his staff with friendliness, smiles and the speediest of service. From the restaurants decor to the excellent food, my family has a new favorite reason to visit Clearwater Beach. Highly recommend that you take a dip into the Beach Shanty to start your day off before fun in the sun. Thank you John and staff for making our trip memorable and yummy.

We went there today with a group of 10 people. Every person in the group was totally happy with the quality of the food, the serving portions, and the speedy service. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming which made us all happy to have chosen this cafe. As our group was large, we had three waitresses: Liz, Nichole, and Jessica. All three were super efficient, and accurate. The manager took a personal interest in assuring each customer has a good experience. If you are looking for good food in a fun atmosphere I recommend you give Beach Shanty Cafe a try!

Here for simple breakfast Pancake was fluffy and delicious. If you seat outside you will get bothered by a few different kinds of birds but it will be fun experience for kids. ;) The white herring loves egg. He has been visiting there for 12 years for egg.

Came to Shephard's Resort and the Ocean Flame buffet for Christmas expecting more. Quality of the buffet items and the overall variety is mediocre. Sadly, not the Las Vegas buffet served with Vegas quality and Vegas fanfare it could be. Nor is this a Miami or even a Mrytle Beach style large seafood buffet. Ocean Flame is nothing more than a mediocre 3 Star Hotel buffet that can exist due to convenience for hotel guests and the ability to advertise as the only seafood buffet on the Gulf in this area. The food quality is certainly not resort quality as it certainly was not prepared with any love or intent to wow guests. And the service sub par as your dirty dishes will stack up, drinks run empty, silverware be forgotten upon being sat, and regular behind the scenes staff complaints heard if you listen and watch. This all comes from clearly poor management of the restaurant. Overall. If you come here with low expectations like dining at one of the large buffet chains or expecting 3 Star Hotel experience, you will be fine. But if you expect a true 5 star resort experience, you'll be very disappointed. This is a 3 star resort hotel with 3 star amenities and a 3 star restaurant with 3 star service. The potential for much more exists, but under whomever the current management is, do not expect any "wow" factor.

We ate here 3 different times during our stay. Our first day the food was ok. We came back Saturday and Sunday and tried the shrimp and grits from their newly introduced brunch menu. They are to die for! I wanted to find the chef and give him/her a hug lol 5 star dish.

There may not be a lot of selections, but the quality of the seafood, fruit and desserts was just awesome!! It was pricey but for the same price, it’s much better than a lot of buffets in Las Vegas. The vibe and staff were also great.

Love this place. We were here for 4 days and had breakfast her twice. First day a seagull got part of my breakfast, so watch out, The Birds.

This place was amazing! I am a big seafood lover and they definitely delivered. The oysters were soooooo good! I had about 6 of them. They were nice and juicy and had such a great fresh flavor. The crab legs were the most addicting. I literally made about 4 trips to grab more and more. They were packed with meat and I love the flavor. The chef didn't just butter them, he seasoned them to perfection! The breakfast buffet was also superb, I had the chef whip me up an omelette and it was the best Id ever had (even better then mine) I don't eat pork, but I couldn't resist their bacon. Gosh it was so good and crispy I felt bad after devouring them so fast. The fruits were nice, cold and fresh (no complaints) Our waitress was the BEST! "Yvonna" was super nice and energetic. She kept the mimosas coming and she always made sure we were satisfied! She had such a great personality and she even offered to steam our crab legs. There was such a nice atmosphere here, from people opening doors to greeting you as you walk in. I really enjoyed this place

Such a great place! There is indoor and out door seating with umbrellas if you want shade. Our server was so nice and gave tips on the menu which proved to be spot on. The food was delicious!

Food was excellent! Our group was from Michigan here on spring-break. The food was unique so was the atmosphere. Chelsea was a great server. Definitely planning on coming back next year.

I enjoy the living room . I go there quite often when i am in Dunedin. Usually an early lunch alone. Have a sandwich, diet, and some beer and relax. Sometimes have a feeling of peace. Burgers are good and so is the chicken salad sandwich, no extra dressing needed. On weekends they have breakfast and brunch until 4pm. Very good.

Anthony always takes great care of us ladies at the bar. We love his personality, he always has us laughing. The House Guava Bramble has become my favorite and I'm not even a gin drinker normally. Oh and Todd's pretty great as well 🙂

Good food, unique ambience, huge patio seating with plenty of pups lounging around. Good service too. Get the focaccia and whipped feta.TRUST ME. Good burger and potato soup, chocolate dessert and blackberry brûlée also good. There was something off in the churasco that I didn’t care for. Something smoky and kind of burned flavor I couldn’t put my finger on it but it definitely did not taste good to me.

I’ve eaten in downtown Dunedin a few times and been underwhelmed. The food and service at the living room was INCREDIBLE! Everything we ate and drank was 10/10. Big thank you to Emily for taking care of us and making dad’s birthday special!

So today was my 3rd visit here, the last two were a while ago and detoured me from eating here BUzt this evening was a whole different expierence! Tonight we visited for Valentine’s Day and wow hats off to the entire staff! It was late, they were tired but man what a dinner! Photos can’t describe the flavor in every single dish! Even the salad made my mouth water! I won’t say the experience was flawless but I will say it was worth every single penny spent! The server we had was Rob R and he made the experience memorable! I will return! The chef in charge of that kitchen was spot on! The food could have been plated a little better but it was the end of the night. My fiancé, daughter, mother, and I came here to show my mother the ocean (she’s never been) & we had a wonderful time. First off: Rob was AMAZING & made the experience for us—he was friendly, helpful, and he was so engaging with our baby. He also took a sunset picture of us for us. The drinks were smooth and nice (try the spicy margarita) & the food was great! The setting was calm and quiet. We will definitely return and would recommend!

Shor Grill, located in the Hyatt Regency, is an excellent choice for a quick and convenient business meeting. The atmosphere is relaxed, ideal for casual business discussions. The scallops were great flavor and texture. Pair them with a good Old Fashioned and that’s a perfect meal for me. For those in need of a reliable dining spot within a hotel, Shor Grill is your spot.

Look no further if you want some quality food in absolutely amazing sunset view. The steak was perfectly cooked. It’s quite pricy compared to other local options but totally worth it.

Went for an anniversary dinner. Our server, Veronica, and the Assistant Manager, Eric, were extremely nice. The restaurant has amazing views of the ocean and sunset. Gave them 4 stars because we ordered virgin drinks, but one of them had alcohol in it. We don't drink because of our faith, and we found out the drink had alcohol in it after drinking it! It was very upsetting. Also, when I got my delicious plate of food, there was a long piece of hair in it. However, they remade my food. Veronica and Eric apologized both times and made our entire meal, with desserts to go, complimentary. Staff is extremely nice. The people at the bar and kitchen need to be more careful because one mistake can cause someone their life (people have serious allergies). I definitely recommend the restaurant. Just be mindful and double-check if you have food restrictions.

Waitress Tesia - Service A+++++. food amazing. Came here two nights in a row because I liked it so much!! Last night - Pablo Escobar burger. Tonight - the carne asada skirt steak with corn ribs was one of my favorite meals all year. Med rare - perfection. The corn ribs are a whole new food - with lime juice they were a mystery as to how I can do this at home they were so good! My server was so attentive and amazing! Live music. Great drink selection. Don’t come cus then it will be too busy for me!! Haha. Jk. You cannot go wrong here!!

You will not go wrong here. Seating is outdoors only, but covered with plenty of fans. We were very comfortable. Excellent for dinner. Beer selection highlights some of Florida's best breweries. Our server Alana was very attentive and kind. Portions were large per entree. Highly recommend the corn ribs and hush puppy grouper! Edit: live music is amazing!

Rebecca was amazing. She took great care of us and we never left like we were left hanging or waiting around unlike a lot of the other places we’ve been to on this strip. The fish tacos I got were some of the best I’ve had all week, and the chips and salsa tasted fresh and crispy. No stale chip texture. Will absolutely be coming back here again!

Badfins food and brew is good, but not great. I don’t know why the fish tacos are on store bought flour tortillas and they don’t offer up an option of corn. They could’ve at least been homemade. Overall the fish tacos were OK, but underwhelmed. The best part of our meal was the cheeseburger. It was delicious and big. U totally recommend this over the seafood. We thought the fried grouper fish sticks would be so much better, but the fish was a little rubbery and certainly not fresh. As for the cocktails, they’re just OK. Definitely may not a place for craft cocktails made by mixologist. Overall, though, OK and they have good options. The place is nice and clean, but there is only one men’s and one women’s restroom and they only take one person at a time. You’d think at a restaurant like this they’d have more than one stall. A little confused about this unless there’s a second area with restrooms. The service is good, but they charge you for water. Seriously. This place had high expectations with positive reviews, but didn’t deliver. I still think it’s a nice place and worth the visit if you want something close to the beach and touristy.

Love this place so much! Always the tastiest food and best service! This visit Jason was so attentive and helpful. We were being quite the pains in the butt about getting g a TV with March Madness games on it and he was able to accommodate our request. He was able to recommend some drinks that were perfect for us! Jason is the best! Our table really loved the appetizers he recommended as well!

Great place to be right by the beach! Staff was amazing. Our server was Tesia very nice great service. Food was amazing I had the cluck tacos wich were the best with crispy chicken and fluffy tortillas. I definitely recommend!!

What a gem! Jason gave us amazing service! The Turquoise Turtle cocktail is ah-mazing! Highly recommend the street corn riblets, absolutely fantastic! Tacos are freaking awesome! This is definitely a go to spot on the beach! Do yourself a favor and go get some good food!

Nice place to enjoy a beach sunset. A totally open-to-the-beach back porch is their main seating area. They also have some couches and a fire pit right on the beach. So you have a perfect view of the beach and sunset while you dine under table umbrellas. At night, you're dining/drinking in the dark but they bring you a little light for your table. It's kinda cool unless you really need to see what you're eating and who you're talking to. I give the food 3 stars meaning that the food is pretty good. I usually get their hamburger. Unfortunately, their default side is home-made chips (like potato chips) and they're hideous. What blows my mind is that they have delicious seasoned fries and they don't let you substitute. So get a large basket of the fries for your table to share - they're great. Overall, I like the place but I would go there far more often if they got rid of their chips. It's a bummer to have a side that you can't eat.

Overall, what a great beach-side restaurant! Cocktails were great, atmosphere and view unbeatable. My fried grouper sandwich was stellar, but my wife’s Caesar Salad with grilled Grouper was just decent; the grilled grouper lacked flavor and was overdone. Otherwise, great spot!

The cocktails were loaded at this place. Decent amount of alcohol to the mix. The views on the outside deck to the beach are pleasant. A fire pit to lounge around and have drinks by. Pleasant place to the enjoy the sunset by. Update: Service has vastly improved from our last visit. Drinks were made promptly and order taken quickly.

It's on the beach of course the atmosphere is beautiful. However, our server a tall blonde lady, Anna I believe was not the greatest or friendliest. I think a smile would have broke her face and she seemed more interested in other tables than ours. Not sure if she was new and concentrating or what but she needs more hospitality training. I had a blueberry basil drink which was delicious...UNTIL.. I found a piece of a champagne foil wrapper floating in it. I split fruit tray with the table it was good with generous portions. Our guest had a burger which he seemed very tasty. Would I go back... Hmmm.. maybe in the evening just for the beach view

We’ve considered Tate’s a special place for our family since we first visited last year and discovered the amazing atmosphere, great live music, and decent food. However this year our favourite beach front experience was ruined by the worst service Clearwater Beach has to offer. “Alex H.” Is the most arrogant, inconsiderate, and rude server I have ever had. We were unfortunate enough to have her during both our visits during our two week stay, and her terrible attitude, lack of interest, and blatant hate for her job is enough for us to never return. It’s a shame really… the location is beautiful and the food is good for the price.

The drinks were good. The kids cheeseburger were good. The chicken Caesar wrap was below average. The Birria Tacos were the worse tacos I ever had and I lived in Mexico for 4 yrs. The meat was dry and definitely not birria meat. The beef consume was straight out of beef broth container. They tacos were absolutely terrible.

Loved this place! The nachos and grouper nuggets were both amazing. Nothing like a sunset dinner on the beach.

Beautiful atmosphere, fantastic food, well made and beautifully presented drinks. If all of that isn't enough, we went on a decently busy night and the bar was full, we only wanted drinks and maybe a sweet treat and didn't want to take up too much space. We decided since the bar was full we might venture elsewhere, we were stopped by the owner before we could leave and he sat us at a romantic table in the front. He brought us water and got someone to take care of us right away. It was very kind and made my fiancé's birthday just a little more special. We had the espresso martini, an old fashioned, and split the creme brulee. I haven't been able to stop raving about how amazing this place was! The owner is so kind and attentive and you could tell he really cared about the restaurant and experiences of his patrons. Can't wait to go back!

Went here for lunch. Do not get the shrimp cannellini. Seriously the dish measured 4"x4" x for $21. It had one piece of shrimp cut into 3 small pieces.

Oh boy. Where do I begin? This has been my favorite restaurant for years and years, owned by a Belgian chef (who never seems to recognize me, despite endless returns and me always saying hello) specializing in a small French menu that's reasonably priced and the food is has been amazing...until now. Despite not being broken, they decided to "fix it." They recently turned it into a lounge (with a name change??) despite there being another lounge right around the corner (Sips wine lounge), and removed almost every dinner table. They're pushing people to eat at the bar. I don't want to eat at the bar. If I'm spending this much on food I want to speak to my companions, face to face. They remodeled and took all the quirky elements away, from their Eiffel Tower to the art in the bathroom. Their servers used to be dressed nicely and now look like they are on a prison work release system. It's "seat yourself". The revamped the menu and took some notable items off, raised the prices and dropped the food quality. This is my biggest gripe. The main reason I come here is because the overwhelming majority of the food at restaurants is not worth the money because I am a chef and I can do better for far less. But this place has always been reliable and a great place to bring people who visit from out of town, friends, date night... And it stays open and serves food late. I guess that changed. Even the burger went up in price to over $22 and came with almost nothing on it. It's advertised to have bacon jam, pickled onions... All three of us had dry buns and two scant pieces of onion. Quality of meat was decent enough but it was generally flavorless... And I've ordered this plenty of times before, that was never the case. Gone are the decanters of water to refill our own...and not once were we offered a refill. I've gotten everything on the menu from the duck confit to bone marrow to the Burger American.... And I'm extremely disappointed. It seems like they're just pushing alcohol now. Additionally, it feels different and everyone is piled on top of each other. There are only regular three dinner tables left inside unless you want to sit outside which most people do not in Tampa Bay where our ambient temperature is 86-95 F. There are some tiny round tables on the other side if you want to sit on the lounge side where the majority of the tables used to be and hunch over like you're at a laptop to eat your food... But they won't fit more than a plate and a half on there. I've been coming here since the bar was smaller and they keep renovating themselves into a bigger and bigger mistake. This is the type of place people keep coming back to...for the atmosphere, the food, the fact that they are open when other places are not in this particular small town, the option of later nights with food for those of us who are night owls. It's a true local hangout with an eclectic mix of Europeans, Brits, Americans, Canadians, etc, and we proudly bring all our friends and family coming through town. This place has always been busy, seven nights a week, well into late hours. Jovial, really great vibe, friendly...it was "Cheers" meeting the best of European flavor. Now they will stop serving food at 10:00 and there was barely anyone there on a Monday night. I'm very disappointed and very sad. This is one of three reliable restaurants in the area that has always been amazing and counted on for fantastic food, service, strong drinks, and a great atmosphere. It's changed. The name changed, everything changed....and not for the better. They modernized into something bland and typical across the board. Expensive food, average service, pushing liquor, everything looks the same. You can get that anywhere. I hope they go back to where they were and restore their magic. I don't think I will be returning if they remain as is, and that breaks my heart.

I came here with my wife for a local bite, being that they are less than 3 miles from home. I would rather eat at taco bell. The service was dismal. The waiter never came around, never checked if our food was good. I literally had to look around and tell out for him to come by. Their vegetarian dish was just red wine with mushrooms. Was not prepared properly at all. It was just gross. Their cheese plate was old, dry and hard as rocks. There was nothing french about this plate. I will warn everyone to stay away. Just awful all around.

Parts of Paris has been one of my favorite places to eat for many years. I have had amazing dinning experiences there until last night! WHAT CHANGED, WHAT HAPPENED??? Self seating was fine, but then waited about 15 minutes for a waiter to acknowledge us and take our drink order, then another 15 minutes to get our drink orders of undisclosed wine provided. At least another 20 minutes to get one of the waiters to take our dinner order. We all ordered French onion soup which took at least 30 minutes and soup was cold and had a strange flavor. Not at all what it used to taste like. I also should mention the place was not busy with maybe 4 people at the bar and less than 3/4 of the tables filled on a Saturday night and at least 3 maybe 4 waiters running around looking lost and not sure what to do. About an hour later our food came. We all ordered the sirloin which was good but the pommes frites were cold. No one ever came by to check on us, ask about the food, refill our drink orders or refresh our waters or ask if we might want dessert. To say the least the dinner was an over priced disappointment. The hi-lite was the expresso martinis we had at the bar. They were very good!! But getting second martini took an unnecessary amount of time as all the waiters/bartenders were at the far end of the bar conversing and never came down to check on us. What a shame Parts of Paris used to be such a good restaurant I enjoyed taking friends and out of town visitors to, but no more...I won't be back!! Although I doubt if Parts of Paris will still be in business at the end of the year!

One of my favorite restaurants in the whole Tampa Bay area! Outstanding service - knowledgeable, courteous, and no rushing you out of the door. Absolutely delicious food! Among my favorites are lamb, beef fillet with peppercorn sauce, grilled octopus, crab dip, and escargot. Very reasonably priced! A bit packed/loud inside but excellent on the patio. Definitely worth the drive; can’t wait to return!

Well, we’ve come here MANY times as a date night spot. A couple weeks ago we came (reservation 8/8:30p). As we were sitting waiting for our food we overheard another waiter telling a table they were changing to a lounge. So after dinner I wanted dessert. I ask the waiter about the new changes and when those would go into effect. He looked at his watch and said now. We were shocked. I asked for a dessert menu and he said the kitchen was closed. I was confused. Because if the kitchen was closing (I didn’t know what time they closed) don’t you think the waiter would come over and say hey guys the kitchen is about to close in case you wanted dessert? Not a word. Sadly we will not be back. A lounge is not our atmosphere. This was our once a month treat (especially at those prices).

Visitors and locals alike come to chill and party while being taken care of by the best of the BEST! We are so lucky to be locals and to get to spend days at this awesome place that offers everything you would love and want in music, food, fun and atmosphere! Matt at the outside pool bar absolutely CRUSHES it! He is the total service with a smile and that "I am happy to help you" attitude that just makes your experience "next level"! Matt just exceeded expectations! He insisted on making sure our orders were perfect as ordered...No matter how busy he was! He truly made our day with his easy going way and great food and drink suggestions! Toni at the front desk is also service with a smile and so is Mr. M (spelling of his full name escapes me) who greeted us with such warmth and joy at the front desk as we were departing. This a very relaxing way to spend the afternoon. Sitting by the water enjoying the music and watching the boats cruise by. We had the loaded fries and grouper bites as an appetizer and chicken tacos, the fish tacos, and the burger for our lunches. They were pretty busy as every table was occupied but the food and service were very good. I’ve been coming here for many years and am mostly very happy with the experience. This place gets very busy sometimes and you’ll have to understand that when they are at full capacity things take longer. Kick back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere right here ❤️☀️

Food was good but disappointed that after we ordered drinks were told that credit card info needed to be held before ordering food. This information was not posted anywhere and the waiter informed us of this after she brought back our drinks. When I asked the waiter why she did not provide this information before taking our drink orders, she stated that she forgot and will make sure to say this next time. This felt very discriminatory because I’ve never been told to provide credit card before ordering especially at a beach like Clearwater! We were a party of 3 not a party of 10, very disappointing!!

I had the most fun I had in a long time. I saw my favorite band playing here Swipe Right on the beach. Was sooo awesome. All staff was friendly and the drinks were good. Could have been a little stronger but all in all my 1st time there was a success. Will definitely go back.

This place is awesome! I visit twice and akways the band and service were great! Ashley, my server was AWESOME! I can’t give it 5 stars due the valet service & personal. I paid $10 and didn't receive the service. In the end of the night, when I came back to get my car and keys, valet had left and I was lost and had no clue where my car was located. When I gave him the key he said parking was for unlimited time. I was lucky to find a nice gentleman from Clearwater that helped me find someone to give me the keys. It wasn’t a pleasant experience having no clue where my car was located at 11:30pm in an unfamiliar city. Will NEVER trust the valet personal at this location anymore! They just vanished on me, I wish they warned me about it!

If you have 2 hours or more to kill and don't have anywhere else to be, this may be the place for you. It has a decent atmosphere with live music and a pretty view, and food is alright - but the service is abysmal. Took 20 mins just to get our order taken, another 40 or so to get food - and they also totally forgot to bring my fiance's food he ordered. We of course couldn't inquire about the missing food for about 20 mins after we received any food, as she did not even once check on us. We were highly disappointed - but perhaps if we didn't have anywhere else to be, it would've been okay.

The empanadas are amazing. 10/10. I dont personally like the queso. Small queso was yummy. I love the salsa Verde, spicy and fresh. Salsa was authentic. I think I'll stop in for fresh empanadas. I stopped by around 11pm so the spicy chicken was not fresh and I don't like the rice. I Wana try the quesadillas next time. Love the restaurant. The empanada - ground beef was hot, fresh and paired well with their salsa Verde. The freshness of their burrito was lacking.

Went like 20mins ago to get a TO GO food. We called 3x to ask questions before we started walking from our hotel. They were very accomodating and hospitable over the phone. We walked in and greated promptly by the lady (she was cleaning the grill) wished I asked her name for a shout-out! She was so nice and friendly. The guy who helped us at the register was amazing as well! And to whoever cooked our dinner tonight— This is the best tasting burrito ever I’ve ever tasted. We ordered two Seafood burrito add beans and it was amazingly delicious to every bite! Freshly made and hot! Thanks so much! See you again tomorrow :)

Great place for a quick mexican bite. Employees are friendly, service is super quick, and food is delicious, too. I liked their spicey salsa. I would recommend it.

i have eaten at various taco bus locations around the bay area. 10 years ago the original locations was one of the best places to eat in tampa. So much so that we used to buy 100 dollars worth of taco bus gift cards to eat there. Later the quality went downhill to the extent that we stopped going to any taco bus locations for years. I am glad to this location bought back some memories from 10 years ago. The food was excellent with everything made well. Hands down the best taco bus location. The pineapple water was refreshing the corn tortillas soft and huge the refried beans tasty and burrito was just huge and filling.

Huge quantity of delicious food! I got the burrito bowl and struggled to finish it. Had the perfect amount of protein, rice, beans, and toppings. Cool interior as well that kids loved!

Food was oily and mediocre at best. There were also several issues with our takeout order (forgot an item, added cheese on an item that was requested without cheese). The only highlight was that we were able to get a vegan quesadilla for my daughter with a dairy allergy; plus fairly large portion sizes.

Absolutely loved it here the food was amazing, lots of vegan options I had the burger it was delicious, spotlessly clean and the staff were delightful, beautiful sun deck out the back overlooking the bay and people inside playing on a checkerboard very relaxing.we also had vegan cakes to finish off would 100% recommend this cafe and definitely return, loved it.

Dear Basimo Beach Cafe, I am so sad that the cafe isn't open 24/7, 365 and also in Atlanta... because I would come every single day!! Today I ordered: A vegan, gluten free gingerbread donut- so scrumptious! A sugar free vanilla almond milk cappuccino- I wish I had gotten 2 of them! Vanilla yogurt and granola parfait with honey- tangy and delicious! Hot oatmeal- lightly sweetened with a few slices of banana. While the most simplistic thing I ordered, this was very hearty and filling. I wasn't hungry or snacky the rest of the day! (Breakfast was at 9am, albeit I ate a lot) Basimo, your staff were friendly and delightful. As well as patient, while I hemmed and hawed over the menu. I only managed to snap a quick picture of my cappuccino delight before scarfing everything down, it was so yummy!! Breakfast today was probably the highlight of my semi-annual obligatory trip to visit my father in IRB. I'll be back, Basimo!!! Love, your newest, greatest fan

Sauntered by this lil' gem. I was intrigued with the literature and had to support this establishment. It's rare lately to find like mindedness. Enjoyed the Roman Holiday. I pay for uniqueness and one of a kind. It was worth every sip.🥰 Delish. Lots of food options that are mindfully sourced.💞 I shall return.

Turkish coffee, Latte, Affogato and a Cubano (not pictured). Lovely, smooth coffee. Organic smoothies. Vegan coffee cake. Our best find on the beach! Atmosphere is low key, owner is great! Kind, personable, and conversational.

Awsm place. I am vegetarian and they have some good good option. The turkish coffee OMG. The burger is not just BOY fibery stuff. Its flavoury nice patty. I highly recommend you guys to visit . We also ordered nachos with black bean and pancakes and chay

So happy to have found this gem! The Turkish coffee was perfect, and the breakfast sandwich was delicious. Combine that with a friendly staff and beautiful views, and you have my new neighborhood favorite.

Fantastic place! Great spot for breakfast or lunch on the water! The fruits and veggies are definitely organic, you can taste it! The Turkish coffee is AMAZING and very authentic!! You'll love this place if you want good clean organic food and good coffee!!

Five Stars – Truly Exceptional Experience Opal Sands Resort completely turned my vacation around. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Every interaction felt personal and respectful, and I was treated like a valued guest the entire time. The property itself is absolutely stunning—from the modern, luxurious rooms to the breathtaking ocean views. Service was prompt, smooth, and professional across the board. Whether I was requesting towels by the pool, ordering room service, or just passing through the lobby, the team made sure I was taken care of without hesitation or unnecessary questions. After a disappointing experience at another nearby hotel, Opal Sands was a breath of fresh air. They truly understand what hospitality means, and I’ll definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommended.

Had a great stay at Opal Sands! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, comfortable, and had an amazing view. The food was excellent, and while I didn't have the time to use the pool, it looked beautiful. The only downsides were the price (a bit high compared to similar resorts) and the beach. It was a little crowded and noisy due to public access. Still, overall a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. Solid 4 stars!

We LOVED our stay at Opal Sand. It’s a beautiful resort. The rooms were nice, the entire facility was very clean. The pool area was perfect, and it has very good beach access. The location was perfect for navigating Clearwater Beach and finding other things to do. The food and beverages at the resort were also excellent. All of the staff were very friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend!

Love the location, the rooms and the service are pretty good. I only gave 4 stars, because I felt the price was a little high, due to some of the amenities were not open during our stay. The pool and store hours were shorter than expected. I rarely complain about anything, but if you're not fully open, you should not be charging fully. and this is not a cheap place to just hang your hat. Overall, I would recommend asking about things that you plan to use ahead of time. I gave 4 stars for service because when I asked about the shorter hours, the reply was "it is what it is". I found that pretty rude, simply because "my money was what it was, until it was theirs". I will say the cleaning staff were awesome and very nice. I Gave 5 Stars for the rooms & Location because it was close to all of the great restaurants, boat tours and other attractions. Our room was very clean and had breathtaking views of Clearwater Beach, amazing sunsets and we got to watch the dolphins every day, right from our balcony. I still recommend Opal Sands, but be sure whatever draws you to stay there is open as stated and available to use. Would I stay again, of course. What can I say? I love dolphins!

We have traveled and stayed at resorts in almost all 50 states, this by far is the best place we've ever stayed! Staff were so nice! Every staff and even every guest was always so so happy!! Quality is top notch with everything from furnishings, bedding and service! Unfortunately we got very sick so we were unable to enjoy any of the dozens of local attractions or the pools but at least we had an amazing view to stare at while we got better and amazing staff to bring up food and drinks. This will absolutely be a family destination going forward. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This review is written on account of my mother in laws experience. She requested I write this review due to her incredible experience here a little over a week ago. This review is dedicated to the hotel manager Alexis ! You provided such excellent service for my mother in law and her sister. They adored the outdoor area and cabanas by the gorgeous pool were just lovely. The outdoor bartender Nick was overly accommodating and talented. Daniel at the desk provided them the most warm and professional welcome. George in the dining room took wonderful care of them. The hotel overall exuded cleanliness and beauty. The food, the rooms, the staff. Every aspect involved with their stay made them never want to leave !! 10/10 would recommend this hotel to anyone !!

Just returned from our Anniversary stay at the gorgeous Opal Sands Resort in Clearwater Beach. We cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. We enjoyed ourselves so much and felt so spoiled and well taken care of at every moment. From the valet when we pulled up to the departure, we give it 6 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The staff was the most professional yet genuine, friendly group we have ever encountered at a hotel. We travel a lot internationally and domestically. The accommodations were just outstanding. The suite was perfect. It was beautiful, clean, updated and had the most breathtaking view of the aqua ocean, white sandy beach and spectacular sunsets. The restaurant and staff were perfection. The pool area as well as hot tub were spacious, impeccably clean and the staff was so accommodating. We highly recommend this hotel. We cannot wait to experience some of the other Opal Collection Hotels & Resorts in Florida, New England and New York. Thank you so much Jenna, Karen, Christina, James and anyone we missed.

We have enjoyed the choice of drinks and large and good brunch menu. Omelettes are awesome and huge portions. Staff is very nice and friendly. Place is kept clean and welcoming. Even locals recommend the place for brunch, and get continently located for large hotels.

We went to this breakfast spot in Clearwater Beach during Phillies spring training. It’s a nice place with good service. We didn’t have to wait at all, which was a big plus. Our server was really attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered the French toast and the classic breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, and pancakes. The food was decent, but nothing really stood out in terms of flavor. It was satisfying, but not that memorable. It is a good spot for a quick and easy breakfast, especially if you’re looking for friendly service and no wait time.

Not the best of food, was served here today the Homefries were over cooked. And the waffle was hard like toast, but substituted it for 3 pancakes. Besides that yhe hand squeeze orange juice was great.

The food was amazing but the waitress seemed to be preoccupied. I had a cup of coffee and asked for water! Never got it she never came back to the table until she seen we were done and brought the bill! Please pay attention I know you get a lot of visitors but do better!

Food was really good and fresh. There was an egret watched us eat the whole time, we sat outside. Once my husband was done and had left the table, he helped himself to the sausage that he had left until the server shewed him away. 😂 Our food was great, and everyone else’s looked good as well. Five stars go to the pizza I ate. The cheese is awesome and tasty. It really felt fresh and homemade. I had the vegetarian pizza, which I recommend anytime. The serving staff are nice and friendly. There seem to be good breakfast items as well as other varieties for lunch and dinner. The prices seem reasonable.

I got the gluten free pizza which was okay. Not the best crust I’ve had but also not the worst. My husband got a CBR which was really oily in the box but he said it was good!

I had a good experience here with my family. Food was average and well priced. Service was good, but very fast paced. They offer a good selection of pasta and pizza. Definitely a good place to come and eat with family and friends if your hotel does not offer food. I personally like the pizza.

Fantastic pizza!!! Individual pizzas so everyone can get their favorite! Great crust! Quick friendly customer service. Took a cheesecake slice for the road! If we were back in the area, we would eat here again.

The Best food EVER!!! We had breakfast it was wonderful but we went back for dinner an it was absolutely amazing! The service is excellent. The people that work there are all extremely nice. This is the BEST RESTAURANT IN THIS AREA. The prices are really good as well. The food portions are large. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Absolutely loved this find!! Those who know me and our reviews. We stay in italy 6 months out the year. With that said the pizza was tasty and delicious. My pasta with seafood was highly recommended by Annie…. The choice was crazy delicious. Loaded with scallops and shrimp and squid and mussels. My gosh the sauce!!? Incredible blend of flavors and just a real good dish for sure. The staff - Addi - my gosh what a great person to have met and helped us make our selections. All around beautiful and delicious culinary experience. Loved everything.

We were there for one breakfast and 3 dinners and the food was excellent! We highly recommend the pasta dishes, soups, gyros. Wish we lived closer to frequent. Owner Jose was very personable and efficient.
