Parking is available at the back of the pub, this is advertised as pay and display but the pub will provide a permit for you to display in your car. The rooms are clean, spacious with tea and coffee facilities. The TV has free view, isn't a smart TV but this didn't bother us. Bathroom is has a bath & waterfall shower with body wash provided. Ample soft and fluffy towels were available. The bed was lovely and soft with great pillows. The bar staff are great and very knowledgeable (especially when it comes to gins!). We had dinner which was ok, not the best sausage and mash but was still tasty. The DJ for the evening was great and played a wide selection of music. The atmosphere for new year was fantastic. We had breakfast in the morning and whilst the selection was great it was perfect for what we wanted after a boozy night before; The location in March is great for browsing the high street and going for a walk around. All in all, another great stay and can't wait to go back!

The staff were friendly and efficient. I had the fillet steak which came on a hot plate so I could cook it to how I wanted it which was a great idea so it remained hot.
