National museum
Museums
The National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum in Leadville, nestled in the Rocky Mountains, offers a glimpse into the rich mining history of Colorado. Visitors can explore exhibits featuring a replica mine, various minerals, and a model railroad. The museum shares stories of gold and silver mining in the region as well as the fascinating tale of the nearby Climax mine, which holds the title for being the world's largest molybdenum resource.
Fantastic exhibits and a really thorough overview of the local mining history. My favorite was the diorama room! I doubt one could learn more about mining in a day in another place. Be prepared to spend upwards of 2 hours here, to really experience everything.
Ulrich K — Google review
Place is cool enough. 15 dollars for entry is a little more than I wanted to pay however if you are into mining it’s probably a steel. (See what I did there) lots of things were out of order like the bathrooms, the elevator and some displays. If you’re not into mining it’s still a pretty neat place to check out. The young lady at the front desk was nice so that is good to see.
Malcolm G — Google review
This museum had a lot of things in it, but a lot of the stuff didn't work-- buttons not working, videos not working, activities not stocked, typos, signs falling down, etc. I've included photos of some of them. They had the gift shop and ticket counter at the same register-- it took forever to get into the place.

This was a fantastic experience. I truly enjoyed all of the history and amazing samples throughout the museum. I am so happy I added this to my Leadville trip!

A very informative and interesting museum to viist. It was much larger and more comprehensive than I had imagined it would be. We learned a lot and had a great time. Would highly recommend if you're in the area.

My family really enjoyed the museum. It was very interesting to learn the history of Leadville. We especially loved the actual mine exhibits.
Amanda M — Google review
Pretty large museum of mining. Many interesting exhibitions. I was surprised that not many visitors. Mostly they geology and history of mining. Reception lady was very helpful to give us information about Leadville area. Must visit if you are in the area. Beautiful historic mining town.
Ari R — Google review
I went as part of a group of 10 adults. We stayed for 3 hours & all enjoyed the museum. While we were there, a school group was also there, which made the 3rd floor a noisy place for awhile. The first entrance we tried was locked & it confused us because it was 45 minutes after the museum should have opened for the day. Turns out that's the summer entrance. The non-summer entrance is on one end of the building. While inside the museum, I witnessed several other visitors trying to access the building using the "summer entrance", I'm not sure why they can't use the same entrance year-round? I guess it's probably because the gift shop is located next to the non-summer entrance ticket desk? Exhibits included information about the Ice Palace (only lasted a few months before melting, you can visit the park where it was located- it is behind the museum), Climax Mine (about 15 minutes away), mining safety gear, and the Tabors. The 3rd floor had an interesting assortment of exhibits: a model railroad (it was out of order, but I'm guessing when it works the train runs around the tracks), a model of the Ice Palace, approximately 20 dioramas, a mock mine tunnel, a coin with a panda on it, pictures of some kind of currency (we think it was a company town thing), and information about minerals that are in common household products. The flourescent minerals on the 1st floor were really neat! There were also some exhibits that played short films & there was an exhibit that talked about mining in space. We did find the Hall of Fame to not be of much interest, and the members of the Hall of Fame were almost all Caucasian men from what we could tell. There is a library on the 5th floor, which is locked unless you have an appointment, which is unfortunate because there were some absolutely beautiful stained glass windows that I would have loved to have gotten a better view of. There's also beautiful stained glass windows on the 4th floor landing where the patio door is. The patio door apparently gets stuck sometimes because there was a sign up with a number to call if you couldn't get the door to open up to get back inside. A week before our visit I called to find out if we needed to do anything special because we were coming as a group, I was told no & that I could go ahead and buy tickets online- there was no mention that I could do it in person on the day of my visit. I then proceeded to buy the tickets online- I recommend that you do not because the woman at the ticket desk was very confused by my having already purchased tickets. When you buy online you also have to pay additional fees & my group that I was booking for has tax-exempt status but there was no indication online of how this could be accomodated so we ended up paying the tax. Also, we'd bought tickets for 4 other group members who ended up not being able to go because they didn't feel well, I emailed (on Monday) to find out if we could get a refund (our visit was Tuesday), but never received a response (it's now Friday). It was within 24 hours of our visit, but a previous email mentioned that refunds are possible due to "unforseen circumstances," so I thought I'd give it a chance. The elevator was broken when we were there, so the museum was not handicap accessible. I don't know if the elevator is usually out of order or if this was just a rare event. There is a gift shop next to the ticket desk on the 1st floor. Apparently the building used to be a school. There are a couple of picnic tables out front that you can eat at. There's no food or drinks allowed inside the museum. You also cannot bring backpacks in.

Opera house
Concerts & Shows
The Tabor Opera House, located in Leadville, is a restored 1879 stone and brick building that hosts seasonal concerts and community events. It has an 880-seat theater where visitors can explore the backstage, dressing rooms, and attend musical or theater performances. The opera house has a rich history of hosting various cultural events such as the Ziegfeld Follies, the Metropolitan Opera, as well as welcoming notable figures like Jack Dempsey and Harry Houdini.
I recently took the guided tour and really enjoyed everything about it. I got to meet three of the docents and they were all friendly and welcoming. They love the history of the building and enjoy sharing their knowledge. I had my little dog with me and one of the docents (Brenda) sat with Juni while I took the tour. I recommend that you tour the Opera House, or, better yet, see a show. There were no shows scheduled during my brief time in Leadville.
Randy R — Google review
We took the 1 hour tour on 8/18 at 2pm and it was fantastic. The tour guide knew her stuff, was efficient and informative, and did a great job of reeling in the talkative patrons that wanted to detail the tour. There's 3 floors of history to see and some great surprises, especially in the theater dressing rooms. For $12, I can highly recommend.
Sare — Google review
We were really looking forward to experiencing a play at this historic opera house. Everything was completely unorganized. From entering to purchase tickets at the door, we were never told that there was a vip event going on. We were asked to wait to enter, which we did. Once we finally were allowed to enter, we were assisted to our seats, which were supposed to be General Admission. However, seating was instead being suggested. The performance itself, was quite entertaining, but we left at intermission. The story seemed quite complete, and the seats while very vintage and beautiful, were very uncomfortable being made only of wood. We simply did not wish to endure another hour plus of this particular venue. Best of luck for this historic theatre, but please get your act together. Pun intended?
Barbara S — Google review
Fascinating history, great tour guide, and an incredibly well-preserved example of high-class entertainment in the old west. This is a must-see historic sight in Leadville.
Abigail J — Google review
Lots of history here. Walk on stage, under the stage, backstage. Play the piano on stage. You can do it. You can walk where thousands of others have over the many many years. Probably touch a few door handles and whatnot that have been touched by famous celebrities. It's a very surreal feeling as we walked around looking at the beauty of this time piece. Things will change. I'm not sure how all it will change but this historical site is going to be sold to the city of Leadville. I would imagine that the city will do a great job preserving and showing off this gem of a place. I'm glad we paid the fee to get in. It wasn't bad and only $2 for 12 and under. I think it was $12 for adults. But all this will probably change after the summer of 2016.
JC K — Google review
One of the main attractions in Leadville, CO. It is preserved and doesn't look refurbished at all, old rustic look. They still have shows so it's a working Opera House.
Eddie K — Google review
Steeped in history. Much more interesting on the inside than the view from the outside would have you believe. A great tour although too rushed as so much to take in. A beautiful theatre - would love to see a show there.
Sarah-Joan N — Google review
There is something appealing about sitting in a historic theater to watch a modern comedian that just tickles me. However be aware the seats are not padded and the rows can be rather close together.

Bar
Restaurant
Step into the past at the legendary Silver Dollar Saloon, a historic Old West establishment in Leadville, Colorado. Dating back to 1879, it's the state's oldest-operating saloon and is adorned with original features like an old windbreak and train-seats-turned-bar-booths. The walls are lined with photos capturing its rich history and famous visitors such as Doc Holiday and Oscar Wilde. The small but impressive menu offers upscale options alongside classic bar fare.
Not only you get to experience the saloon feeling, but the food is sooo delicious. Great attentive service, amazing atmosphere and tasty food. 5 star. Must visit!!!!

We came on an extremely busy weekend… Skijoring weekend! People overload! Considering that I think we got a table relatively quickly, after only waiting 30ish minutes. My friend and I both got the Tandoori Chicken sandwich and an order of onion rings. The tandoori chicken sandwich was good… felt like it needed some acid, maybe lime juice? The bun on the sandwich was the best part! Like melt in your mouth bread. The onion rings were fantastic!! The only reason I knocked a star off of service was because when we ordered drinks my friend got a beer and I asked for a glass of water. Her beer came and no water. After getting our food I asked again for the water which the waitress said the water was self serve from a jug at the front of the dining room. No issue with the self serve part just wish she would have mentioned it 20 min before when we first sat down.

Really love the atmosphere and food here. The lamb French dip is very tasty. The reuben is also excellent. Pork belly sliders were my favorite. Old fashioned was excellent. Service leaves much to be desired. Neither bar tender nor server was very friendly or helpful. I'm not sure if this is just par for the course in this small town swarming with tourists... but if I'm paying then I expect a certain level of service which was not given.

A fun and lively atmosphere with great drinks and an incredible historic setting. The place has so much character and is definitely worth visiting if you appreciate history and a good time.
Bob H — Google review
Fun, touristy spot that shouldn't be missed. There's a lot of history there and a lot to look at. The back of the bar is amazing. Entertaining bartender and a good beer, etc and liquor selection. The kitchen was closed, but we only stopped in for a drink anyway.
C W — Google review
The place wasn’t busy so the waitress was able to dedicate us an attentive time. The restrooms are okay, the drinks are good and the decorations are outstanding! I had to stop there to check one of the oldest bars in Colorado State.
Bruna V — Google review
This has to be hands down the coolest bar I have ever been to. Arguably the oldest bar in Colorado it boasts a bar that has been appraised for over 2 million dollars and it is gorgeous. Pages and pages and pages of history here. There is a piano that doc holiday himself uses to play. There was even an argument that started in this joint that bled over to the bar next door where doc holiday shot a man. He was arrested for it and even after tons of evidence against him he was “not guilty”. Even if this place didn’t have so much history and look so cool it would still be a great place to to just because of the friendly staff and delicious food and drinks.
Malcolm G — Google review
Unfortunately, no food on Sunday or Monday but HOLY MOLY what an incredible atmosphere, excellent service and drinks just the way I like ‘em, STIFF!! ✨Ask for the history book!!! Soooo much info on all the memorabilia. Man this place has HISTORY!!! Follow 'Hostile Dwarf’ for more travel info & a FREE sticker!! 💜

Outdoor clothing and equipment shop
Melanzana Outdoor Clothing is a unique outdoor clothing shop located in downtown Leadville, Colorado. The store is popular among thru-hikers who often stop by to stock up on handmade outdoor gear before continuing their journey. One of the most sought-after items at Melanzana is the microgrid hoodie, also known as the Melly Hoodie, which is loved for its moisture-wicking and lightweight properties.
I didn’t have an appointment when I visited so I can’t speak to that process, but I had a great experience at Melanzana. I went right when they opened in the morning and was able to try on the pullovers they had in overflow. Not many color options if you don’t make an appointment, and you have to make one super in advance, but I thinks it’s well worth it. Jackets are really good quality and just such a unique thing to own. I will definitely be returning to buy another!
Emma S — Google review
Bought my first Melly here in 2002 when the world was a different place. Was lucky enough to snag a couple of new pieces just last week (Jan 2025). Pro tip: watch the Melanzana sub Reddit, there are often posts about cancelled appointments and random last minute openings especially in the middle of winter when it can be hard to get to Leadville. Don’t change Melanzana 😘

Need a new suit. Mine is starting to rip a little bit. The other one shrunk too much and I left it behind. It's at a place called chick n' beer in OKC. Love you all!! I'm really nener going back to OKC ever again. It ruined my life.

Nice Melly! Great hometown alternative to overpriced junk made overseas! I love this shop because it employs locals everything is made on site. They limit you to two articles of clothing and you have to get an appointment. Cult following that is well deserved because the quality and warmth of materials and workmanship is beyond par. We stopped in on Halloween and Jake’s costume was so good and the girls were so kind. They gave him a warm hat! I can’t see enough good about this place! This is truly how America should be…
Hoss L — Google review
Not the biggest fan of the appointments, but I understand since they aren’t trying to be fast fashion or a huge clothing brand making profits at the expense of people’s wages or the planet. The quality of my fleece has been excellent and love seeing the made in Colorado.
Zane Z — Google review
Fantastic clothing company! Appointment only. 2 items max. I'm so glad I made the stop. It was very cool to see.
Chuck D — Google review
Not sure how, but the business model works. If you want an appointment, keep checking the calendar, they get cancelations and add appointments based on inventory. Multiple days this week with multiple appointments. Picked my day and time, no problem. Added bonus, great service, my scheduling conflict and they worked around it AND altered the sleeves while I waited. I’ll be back

Restaurant
Treeline Kitchen is a relatively new addition to Leadville's dining scene, offering classic American dishes and a strong cocktail selection in a laid-back setting. The restaurant has garnered praise for its mountain-modern ambiance and ever-changing menu, drawing regulars who appreciate the opportunity to try something new each month. Owned by the family of Eric and Christine, with their three kids pitching in, Treeline Kitchen prioritizes health, sustainability, and community engagement.
My friends and I had an excellent meal here after skiing at Copper Mountain. The service was fantastic and our server had alot of great recommendations. The price was fair and the food was very good overall. We will certainly be coming back next time we are in the area, and would highly recommend stopping in.
Nick — Google review
Came in at 3:30 on the dot during the skijorring competition. We were able to get a seat at the bar. Service was fast and friendly. Food was great. The curry had some odd sides that were weird together but individually they were excellent. Everyone in my party loved their meals and cornbread was a great app to share.
Kara S — Google review
Love that the food is unique and mostly local. Passing through town on our way to hike Mt. Massive we chose to eat here as a healthy option. The dining area is clean, quaint, and nicely decorated. The menu listed the gf and v options. The waitstaff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. My travel companion and I both ordered blackened cod with roasted peppers and baked squash with pumpkin seeds. She ordered a beer. The food was cooked perfectly and was presented nicely. I didn't care for the herb on the fish, but that is my personal preference, nothing against the meal. For desert my friend ordered a cherry crisp. Today is her birthday so they put a candle on it. I would eat here again.

Treeline is amazing! I absolutely love eating here. So much that I recommend Treeline to all of my Leadville area eloping couples. It is the perfect spot to host a small reception dinner.
Maye P — Google review
What a bad experience. TLDR: food is good; service is not good; place wants to be fancy, but isn’t. Getting sat was just weird. My wife and I walked in and there were about 7 employees just standing at the bar. Finally after a minute of awkwardness, one approached from the back to say that the “host would be right with us”. When we were finally greeted and asked if we had a reservation, I said no. She said something to the effect of, “we can make that work, but we’ll need the table for a reservation at 7”. Cool, I don’t care. I don’t need to know your reservation details. But let’s be honest, the place was half empty and when we left at 10 minutes to 7PM, it was still half empty. And you clearly had plenty of staff… Next, Alberto. Which I only know was his name because it was on the receipt. He barely said anything and stopped by the table as infrequently as he could get away with. We ordered an appetizer and when we finished, he mumbled something about keeping our silverware. Now this place is trying to be fancy, and replacing the silverware after an appetizer is something any decent restaurant would do. Is it a big deal to keep your silverware, no, but when you’re trying to be fancy enough to serve some courses “ala carte”, it just doesn’t fit the vibe. Also, after we finished eating, we weren’t even asked if we wanted another drink or desert. Fine with me, I guess you don’t want more of my money. The food was good. Was it better than dingy place on the other side of town that knows exactly what they’re serving and where. No. The bruschetta was good, but it was literally one piece of bread with a giant dollop of ricotta on it. The dish also felt incoherent, peppers and pine nuts were out of place, but I think the peach, balsamic and ricotta did well together. The fried chicken sandwich was good. The chicken breast was cooked perfectly. Moist and tender. The potatoes apres ski was just ok, the bacon was kind of piled at the bottom and the cheese half melted. I would not recommend this place to those visiting Leadville
Drew A — Google review
This food was friggin’ phenomenal! Treeline Kitchen offers creative combinations in a charming mountain town that had left few options for the more curated pallet. The service was speedy, friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was chill. And, the dishes were so delicious. Would recommend without hesitation!
Jeff D — Google review
Really cute restaurant space and welcoming vibes. Good food but a mix of hits and misses. Though service was friendly, it would have been helpful if our waitress had mentioned how large the portions were for only two people. We unknowingly ordered far too much and ended up wasting a lot of food. We each got a soup - French onion and the special white bean with root vegetables and ham. They were significantly large bowl sizes. Arguably each could have been a main meal itself. I'd personally skip the French onion, as the broth lacked much flavor compared to other places where it's been a favorite choice. The special soup was really tasty though. We could have been full with a single additional side from there, but had already ordered our entire meal at once. Then came main dishes and sides. I got the roasted chicken breast and vegetables side. Both were tasty but a bit rich, so I only finished about 1/3 of it. My partner got the meatballs, creamed spinach and potatoes sides. All of them were good but the sides, especially the creamed spinach, were portioned for 2-3. While all this plus a drink each landed our bill just under $100, we most certainly could have saved food waste and money had we realized portion sizes were significant. We'd definitely come back, just order much differently.
Heather R — Google review
Great food in a nice small place. My group loved the creamed greens, tuna poke, and lamb pasta! Tired their cocktail special with strawberry and that was yummy! They have an insane rooftop with a view! Parking isn't too difficult around there even though it's on the main through way. There's also a fireplace out front. Went back a second time: lamb pasta, burrata, and carrot cake were the favs. The warm peach cake was really great and had a rich pistachio ice cream with it. Their jalapeno margarita was def spicy!

Pizza restaurant
Sandwich shop
High Mountain Pies is a cozy and relaxed eatery in Leadville, known for its exceptional pizzas, calzones, and sandwiches. The restaurant offers outdoor seating and a diverse menu featuring freshly-made meals such as wings, ribs, salads, and customizable pizzas. One of their unique creations is the Crocodile pie with barbecue sauce, cream cheese, shrimp, bacon, and jalapenos. Whether you dine in or opt for delivery or takeout, High Mountain Pies promises a memorable culinary experience.
Probably some of the best pizza I have ever had! The people at the counter were so friendly and kept the line moving quickly. We ordered a salad and a pizza, the salad came out quickly but the pizza took a very long time, about 45 minutes, but it seemed like a busy night. It was well worth the wait; as others have said, the crust is especially delicious. We also loved the brownie! I would definitely check this place out if you are in Leadville.

One of the best pizzas I have had ANYWHERE in the country! I’ve been coming here for many years on visits to Leadville and the pizzas are always very consistent…high quality, fresh dough and toppings made to order and hot while you wait. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this place. I hope they have many more long years in business serving delicious pizzas. Some tips are: the inside seating is very limited so be prepared to take it to go or eat it outside. Also, I’ve been a couple of times where their credit card machines are down and they can only take cash so bring cash just in case. Read text about 15 minutes to prepare if they’re not crazy busy but you can always order ahead by phone in advance.
Austin I — Google review
A small seating area so depending on the time there might not be seating, but we got lucky to arrive right when there was an open table for my family. The food was amazing! Some of the best pizza I've ever had, equally good as the wicked pizza which I also loved. Friendly staff and the order didn't take long. The crust was awesome and the toppings fresh. Perfectly cooked.

Everything was fantastic, wings are double baked and both the spicy bbq and buffalo are delicious. We went with the daily special pizza and added bacon to it based on the cashier’s recommendation. Perfectly cooked and every topping’s flavors mixed together great. Absolute must stop if you are ever in Leadville.

Wonderful pizza experience on a sunny afternoon. Enjoy counter service with friendly delivery to multiple outdoor tables behind the restaurant. About half the tables are covered. Additionally, a few small tables are available inside. Don’t let a line scare you off. The cashier is quick and you will have drinks and water in a very short time. The restaurant will make a delicious thin crust pizza any way you want it!!

The best PIZZA restaurant ever! 20 mins from best ski resort, Ski Cooper and found this amazing pizza place. The folks that run it are so personable and exceptional pizza chefs! Seating is limited but we sat at the bar and had a great time. Do yourself a favor and make the drive for amazing pizza and wings and great ambience! Thank you guys for making our day with an awesome dinner and company.

Not that they needs it since there are already many greats reviews 🤣 this place is a great stop if you’re driving from RMNP to aspen. We orders two salads and three pizzas based on their recommendations. All were amazing (crocodile, deluxe and San Luis) very interesting flavors and ingredients combinations I’ve never tried before. I would skip the garlic bread tho

This is easily the best pizza I have ever had. I don't know what they do to their dough at this altitude to get this light fluffy pizza crust, but whatever it is, keep it up! On top of that, the fluffy, light garlic bread! The service is great! Friendly staff and a great patio with great views! Definitely give these guys a try. You're not going to regret it!

All of them were good but the sides, especially the creamed spinach, were portioned for 2-3. While all this plus a drink each landed our bill just under $100, we most certainly could have saved food waste and money had we realized portion sizes were significant. We'd definitely come back, just order much differently.

Restaurant
Filet mignon & prime rib plus cocktails served in a comfortable, Western-inspired atmosphere.
If you’re on the hunt for a damn good steak, this is the place to be! No need to overthink your order—whichever one you pick, it’s gonna taste like it was cooked by the gods themselves. Melt-in-your-mouth perfection, grilled to absolute glory. Trust me, skipping this spot would be a bigger mistake than ordering a well-done steak!

This place is an absolute favorite of mine, and I make it a point to visit every month. The one item menu concept is brilliant it ensures every steak is prepared with care and attention to detail. The food is always delicious, the steaks are tender and flavorful, and the margaritas are the perfect complement to the meal. The service is exceptional, with a friendly and attentive staff who always make you feel welcome. And once in a blue moon, if the steak isn’t cooked to perfection, they replace it with a perfect one within a minute. If you’re looking for a cozy spot with amazing food and great vibes, Quincy’s is the place to go!

My second visit to Leadville Colorado and also to Quincy’s. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly, baked potato and salad are delicious also. Try the blue margaritas. They’re very good. Comfortable atmosphere. Service was great on both visits. Very reasonable prices.

The steak was delicious. The server was nice and friendly, although I waited 15 minutes for my Margarita. My baked potato was more like a mini potato, half the size of the one my friend got, and the the size of the cheesecake, a pie shaped sliver of a piece with the widest point at 1.25 inches....a disgrace for $5.

I really wanted to love this place and took my wife there for our anniversary hoping for a nicer meal. I kept the review high because I really think they are trying, but honestly, the steak was just mediocre. The atmosphere is nice and the wait staff was very friendly. I just think if you offer a very limited menu (which we were prepared for) you should really excel at what you offer. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food you get. I think if I was drunk and hungry or had just gotten done running a marathon it would be the best food ever and maybe that's who they are catering to. If so, then I am wrong and not their target customer. I really think if they turned it up a notch it would be a really special place though. Small towns are tough to run a business in, so if you are looking for a steak get in there and check it out, we may have just caught them on a bad day, it happens.

This place is known for steaks, and they're great! But I have to give a massive shout out to Quincy's mac n cheese. It is legendary and just what you need after a chilly ski day. Servers are wonderful and love the historic building. Order the mac n cheese!

Wonderful staff, reasonable prices Prime rib dinner with sides. I requested an extra thick cut which was well worth the added costs, I only wish the prime rib was seasoned a bit more. Anytime I'm in or near the area and interested in beef then this is a great place.

First off I'll leave what everyone is most interested in. The food. The food was not up to standards. One of my party ordered a medium well and got rare. The meat was hardly even seasoned apart the last bite I had which was overloaded. The potatoes was fine, the skin was burnt. And the macaroni and cheese is just really cheap quality. We were able to sit down just about immediately although we were just about first to enter. Now for service the only real problem is they don't care about our report so we just left. The artitecture would have looked good if it wasn't so lazy put together. Hole in brick not filled and the roof was just very lazy. Quincy? More like queasy

Quiet and cozy place playing soft country/folk music. Great morning vibe and the employees were super nice. I got a cold brew and a blueberry muffin and it was fantastic. If I lived in Leadville I would visit in the morning and bring work, a book, or an art project and stay for a couple hours.

Such a nice place in downtown! Great lattes and coffee. We have been here twice several years apart-it is always hopping

Stopped on our way through town for an afternoon snack. Mocha was delicious, made with espresso and steamed milk. Hot Chocolate was also top notch. We loved the brownies, carrot cake, eclair, and coffee cake! Highly recommend!

I love the comfortable atmosphere that has a modern yet old-fashioned feel to it. I've been here a few times and the workers are always very kind and quick with their service. The chai latte is spicy and delicious, however, the burritos tend to be slightly overcooked

Superb local coffee shop in the middle of town. Lots of tea and coffee choices along with a myriad of breakfast and pastry options for vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters alike! Couches and tables for a variety of groups and meeting options. A must stop when in Leadville!

I like the self serve drip coffee setup, however this coffee is bitter. A local from BV told me they send the bitter coffees up to Leadville. People seem to love this place. Could be all about location.

Great local coffee shop with amazing (and hot) coffee! Plenty of seating - albeit very busy - for workspace, and hanging with friends! Lots of food and snack options whether savory or sweet! We enjoyed a little bit of both - Quiche Lorraine and a sweet lemon poppy seed muffin. Super cozy inside with mountain vibes, and local art! Baristas were very busy but not enough to greet you with a smile! There were a couple of wood benches outside so you can enjoy your coffee while doing some people watching. Definitely a place worth stopping in for a great cup of coffee!

Very friendly wait staff and the food was very good. The Cuban Mix Sandwich is their specialty and was excellent. They also have gluten free bread!

Stopped here for lunch. The food is not bad, a bit expensive a small 1 piece empanada is already $8, it is a bit spicy due to the spice that they put in. Sandwiches is good and flavored well, bread is flat and thin easy to eat. Plantain is plantain semi sweet pan fried.

Every time I come to Leadville this is my go to for breakfast or lunch. Absolutely outstanding coffee and sandwiches, paninis. The Cuban versions of coffee are sooo tasty and made correctly.

Everyone was super friendly and it was quiet and cozy. I got there when it opened and spoke with the owner, Kim, and she gave me some history on the place. I got a bacon egg and cheese but they are known for their cuban sandwiches. Highly recommend coming for lunch!

Oh my gosh! Thats the only thing I can think of!! I had the Cuban Pork Bowl my husband had the classic Cuban. He has the cafe con leche and I had the Cuban shot of espresso with steamed milk. The first bite of the pork bowl was an explosion of flavors in my mouth!!! Our server Kim, was amazing and understood the importance of water at high altitude. The food, service and coffee were AMAZING! Highly recommended and will return as soon as we can.

Buchi was amazing! I ordered takeout for a large group, I called ahead to ask if it was okay to place a large takeout order and to arrange for it. I had to call back a few times with questions and they were kind every time! Pick up was easy after it was arranged, and everyone enjoyed their sandwiches. Some where hoping they lived closer so they could back for more!
Anna M — Google review
Amazing food and service! I had the Cubans sandwich on gluten-free bread and it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Kim was also delightful and shared lots of neat information on the city of Leadville and surrounding areas. We will definitely be back!
