Mercato Metropolitano is a bustling food hall with a vibrant atmosphere and an incredible variety of international cuisines. Reviewers praise the spacious layout, diverse food options, reasonable prices, and clean environment. Highlights include Korean fried chicken, ice cream, pizza, oysters, chicken katsu curry, duck dishes, bolognese pasta, Jamaican goat curry, Syrian lamb wrap, and more. The lovely terrace offers a perfect setting to enjoy your meal in the sun. While some dishes received mixed reviews for quality at different stalls, overall it's a great place to cater to various dietary preferences and requirements.
An absolutely bumping food hall! Super fun atmosphere, an incredible variety of restaurants, and plenty of places to sit, drink, and enjoy the vibes. The place itself is huge and has a multitude of rooms and outdoor space -- great energy! Will definitely be back in the evening!
You can enjoy cuisine from a wide variety of countries here alongside a good atmosphere. I had the Korean fried chicken which was good as well as the ice-cream which I also enjoyed.
Most of the food is also reasonably priced which helps you if you want to try a few different things. With 20 quids you can try 3 different cuisines or even 4 if you get smaller plates.
The atmosphere was also nice and vibrant and in addition very clean for the place it was.
This is a must visit place. Fantastic. So many different options and food from so many different places of the world. I got a pizza and it's was very good. Also come here to have a cold beer or drink. A must see and visit place.
This market has a fantastic atmosphere—vibrant, welcoming, and beautifully decorated to instantly lift your mood. There’s a wide and diverse selection of food to choose from, making it easy to find something for every craving. The oysters were fresh and flavorful, and the chicken katsu curry hit the spot. Prices are what you’d expect for a food market—fair for the quality and ambiance. One of the highlights is the lovely terrace, perfect for soaking up some sun while you eat. Definitely a place worth visiting!
Have you got food intolerances or allergies?
Are you planning on coming here with your friends or family soon?
Are you stressing out and getting anxious because there isn't a menu you can look at?
(FYI those who can eat anything, it's entirely possible for those with intolerances/allergies to go to a food hall and not be able to find anything to eat, even with 30 vendors there.)
I got you; here's pics of all the menus.
As someone with multiple food intolerances I didn't know for sure if there would definitely be something for me to eat here (so I was worried) but thankfully it turns out there was.
I went for Jamaican; had the goat curry and rice & peas. The curry was really nice and the rice was alright but could've been better. It wasn't exactly piping hot either but would still recommend.
My cousins got a mix and match of things. Some were hit, some were miss; the quality of food varies depending on which stall you go for. The meals that weren't so great included the pad Thai, bulgar wheat & chicken from Turkish place and the Mexican tacos could've been better. Winners; chicken wings, bao bun, pizza, Syrian lamb wrap. There's also an ice cream place that includes Sorbet. You didn't have to wait long for your food.
We sat outside as it was sunny; the tables are quite close together so you have to squeeze in. There were also a lot of people (and a lot of noise) so you did have to strain to listen and talk. The toilets also needed to be cleaner, some of the doors were dodgy, plus you needed a hook on the back of the door for a bag/jacket.
Overall a decent place to cater to lots of food preferences AND dietary requirements.
