Mado

Staff were very friendly and attentive, food was ok. We had requested the excess food we taken and take away bags. However, what I admired is that the restaurant itself can also do the service of giving the excess food to the ones in need.

The restaurant is in the mall and faces the walls of the haram. It's loverly to sit there and regain energy after a beautiful umrah visit and, of course, tiring day. The food was good but it usually is busy even late at night so we had to wait a bit before our food came. Seats are nice and service is OK.

I visited with high expectations and Mado really delivered. The atmosphere is lively and Mado is one of the most stunningly decorated restaurants I have been to anywhere in the world. Service was great as it was not a busy time and there was a range of seating available. The menu was diverse and there were individual sections for bakery, fresh gozleme, coffee & tea etc. Highly recommend visiting when in Makkah.

A fine Turkish restaurant and cafe with a relatively large menu of Turkish food items including soups, salads, hot and cold starters, main courses of kebabs, drinks, and Turkish desserts. As a cafe, they have hot and cold drinks, and you can order along with Turkish sweets. Food is extremely tasty and well presented in an Ottoman style. Food portions are filling. Staff is very friendly. They have ample indoor seating that is elegantly decorated. They accept cash and card payment. They are very highly priced. In Makkah, this is one branch of MADO, while there is another branch inside the Souq Alkhalil - Jabal Omar shopping center. MADO in general has many branches in Saudi Arabia and across the world.
