You can walk around and enjoy the beautiful scenery and listen to music as a local band playing there from time to time over weekends
Amazing place in the center of Bordeaux. Right between the river and hotel de ville.
The water push to the surface making a big puddle and then gets empty gets clean and resurface.
We went with the kids. They loved it.
It can get crowded in summer
Beautiful spot not to miss when in Bordeaux. Gorgeous on a beautiful day with people walking barefoot through the water, even kids in swimmers on a hot day. Love the mist function appearing every 15? minutes. However the water function for the miroir and the fountain is not there during winter.
Need to be there at the right time otherwise you may not see an ideal reflection. But still difficult to miss and also nice to see all the people having fun on the surface
Visited the week of March 3rd 2025. Warm and lovely weather but no fountain.
The city and people should stop promoting this place as permanent attraction of Bordeaux.
It is a random happening event if at all!!
But Bordeaux is still one of favorite cities in France. Some much to enjoy and taste !
Don’t waste your time in this nonexistent fountain!!
