Mare Terra is a hidden gem in Naples, offering delicious and well-balanced dishes like linguine with clams, eggplant parmesan, mushroom ravioli, and veggie pizza. The restaurant's staff is welcoming and attentive, with standout servers like AJ and Bill. Guests rave about the warm atmosphere, beautiful interior with artwork, and the $23 three-course dinner menu that includes soup or salad and dessert. The owner Sal ensures a taste of authentic Milanese fare with oversized portions that transport diners to Northern Italy.
We eat out in Southwest Florida on a regular basis and just learned of this restaurant. Definitely it’s now on the rotation. Its New york origins are not lost and the menu is insanely inviting. We were a party of 12 and everybody had something different and everybody was impressed with the service, the quality the atmosphere and the live music was a bonus. Definitely five star and we are coming back!
Our dinner at Mare Terra was a mixed experience. The food was excellent and the portions were huge. We had prosciutto melone, beef carpacio and seafood salad for appetizer - all were excellent. For main course, we had pasta, octopus and dover sole - again, all were very good. However, the service was abysmal - mostly because we seemed to have a really terrible server who was nowhere to be found most of the time. Food took a very long time to come out and we could never find our server to get more water or other drinks. He seemed to be prioritizing wiping dishes and doing other clean up in the back and never came out until we went to get him. We did not bother ordering dessert because we were afraid it was going to take forever as well. So great food with awful service.
Went their and had a nice meal loved that they also had a piano player wow. He was super nice came over to the table to chat. Drank some bottles of wine that were excellent. Dessert hit the spot. We will definitely be back. If they would just lower that speaker some we would be able to talk.
Being full time residents in SWF we enjoy dining locally. It was our first visit to Mare Terra, it's only 2 miles from home & that's nice! When eating out we often sit at the Bar as we enjoy talking with diners. Staff was friendly, yet professional. Food was really good & the atmosphere welcoming. When we return with our Snowbird neighbors will try the dining room 👍
We met some friends on Saturday evening December 22nd. It was a party of 6, we were greeted by a very friendly staff. The experience was amazing from the service to the food. It was a party of 6, and we were greeted by a very friendly staff. The owner Sal greeted us, and he was so kind. He even spoke Italian with our friends. Then we had the pleasure of meeting the Chef Michelē (Michael Romano)!. The experience was amazing from the service to the food. The owner Sal greeted us, the service was great. We started off with eggplant rolls, calamari, and gazpacho all of them were very excellent! We also each ordered different entrees and they were mouth watering and every bite melted in your mouth. Compliments to the chef- the food was fantastic! Combination of old school ingredients with a new school vibe.
