Parvati Hill is one of the best places to visit in Pune for peace, nature, and great views. The short 20-minute trek is easy and enjoyable, perfect for a morning or evening walk. The view of Pune city from the top is amazing, especially during sunrise or sunset. It’s a calm and spiritual spot, great for photography and quiet time. It can be a bit crowded on weekends. Overall, it’s a must-visit place to enjoy nature, history, and a peaceful vibe.
Note: Parking can be challenging for cars
I drove down to this place and struggled to find parking at the foot of the hill for my 4 wheeler. From there I saw a path for pedestrian and I treaked up on foot around the hill to reach the Vishnu temple. The view of the city was amazing from there. As I moved around, I came across the museum with some exhibits from collections of the era of peshwas. I then saw that there is another way to come up by stairs. These were not the ordinary stairs and the wider once that were probably used to go up on horses during old times. Being a place with such a good view of the city, it becomes a selfie zone. Be helpful to others who ask for clicking snaps for them. I loved visiting all the temples. There you get to visit temples of lord Vishnu, lord Karthikeya, lord vitthala and Rukmini and of course the most popular of all the temple of Devon ke dev MAHADEV. When you go up the stairs you will come across an open gym and some shops selling snacks at the start of the climb. People use these stairs also for exercising as it challenges your stamina. I had a really good time here. Request all to not litter and dirty this historic place.
Location is great there is also a museum next to temple, also there is a shop on the hill top you can have tea and some snacks. Place maintenance is little poor. Note: there is no car parking, so you will have to park your car on the road then climb up.
