Today we had the pleasure of dining in at La Casa to bring in the New Year. We were seated in Darlins section and what can we say, she’s absolutely wonderful! She kept us smiling and laughing throughout the entire evening. Ufuoma was also very kind and made us feel right at home. The food was tremendously delicious and we even got to meet one of the chefs (Steven). He made us a phenomenal pizza and I got to try his famous chocolate cake (best cake in the entire world). That candied orange peel garnish is to die for 👌🏾 We also had the carbonara which is my favourite dish to enjoy anytime that we visit. A really special part of the night is when Nino came in and turned the fire place on to keep those dining in nice and toasty as they enjoyed their meals. Thank you to all of those who were working as you all took part in making our night a memorable one.
I've dined here several times, but tonight was special. The Osso Buco has changed in presentation but it was all positive. The depth of flavours in the sauce, the fork-tender veal on the shank, and on point risotto made for my best meal in a very long time. Big thanks to Darlyn, the manager, who knows customer service, and I was glad to be able to talk to the chef to learn some details. Thanks!
