I had a fantastic experience at Hét Kávézó coffee shop. The ambiance was cozy and had a charming vintage atmosphere. The server, who also prepared the matcha latte, was friendly and spoke English fluently. I was delighted to find that their matcha latte was genuinely authentic, unlike some experiences I had in Hungary where it is often mixed with coffee.

This charming, independently owned café offers an experience that's as delightful as the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere.But it's the coffee that truly sets Hét Kávézó apart. Each sip is a symphony of flavors, expertly crafted by baristas who clearly have a passion for their craft. Whether you prefer a classic espresso, a velvety cappuccino, or a creative specialty drink, you'll find something to satisfy your taste buds. Beyond the exceptional coffee, Hét Kávézó also offers a delightful selection of sourdough sandwiches. The pastries are fresh, flaky, and pair perfectly with your favorite beverage. I took my disabled Australian friend to this coffee shop, and they were exceptionally kind to him, even allowing him to make his own coffee! If you're looking for a truly memorable coffee experience in Szeged, Hét Kávézó is a must-visit. It's a place where you can savor the perfect cup of coffee, unwind in a cozy atmosphere, and discover a hidden gem in the heart of the city.
Only 4 tables to sit, but a very nice and cozy place. The lady was very nice. Great prices (4€ for espresso and espresso tonic). Unfortunately they ran out of pastries/cakes at 4pm. Worth a visit 👍🏻
I absolutely loved it here!! The place was very comfy and has a pretty vintage(?) feel to it. A lady was serving me, I just went and ordered a matcha latte. 🍵 I took a seat and not long after she delivered the order to my table, it was actually a matcha latte!! I had so many experiences in Hungary where the matcha latte is actually matcha with coffee— or rather coffee with matcha(?)... but yes it was an "authentic" Matcha Latte. Oh yeah, the server lady who was also the one who made me my matcha could speak English and was very polite. Great Service! ⭐️ Oh not to mention the price was very cheap and reasonable! My Matcha Latte was 990 HUF (€2.64 or $2.85) for a normal cup size! That's a gold mine right there! 💲💰 If I ever come back to Szeged, I would definitely visit this little coffee shop again! :]]

Absolutely authentic place. Huge variety of coffee and really nice and quick service that makes the place even better. Creative choice of name gives a good vibe as well. Recommanded for those who have somentime to spend and enjoy their coffee. Big plus for being animal friendly.

I was there at 7:40 and the guy said to me "it's closed, only at 8:30 we are opening" Even in the door was written 7:30 ....
