London Zoo offers a delightful experience for visitors of all ages, with well-maintained facilities, friendly staff, and a wide variety of animals to see up close. Visitors appreciate the engaging exhibits like butterflies, penguins, and monkeys, as well as the informative talks and feedings. The zoo's commitment to conservation efforts adds an extra layer of significance to the visit. While some mention the high ticket prices, many find it worth it for the quality experience provided.
The London zoo is one of my favourite zoos! I visited last May and had a fantastic experience. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The volunteers were knowledgeable, passionate, and enthusiastic which makes every visit better. The most memorable part was the rainforest building. The experience you get from the open concept is indescribable. When I was there, there was a mother sloth with her infant on her belly that was just hanging on a branch three feet away from us. It was absolutely incredible. The rest of the zoo is fantastic as well. It’s 100% a must visit for any animal lover.
I have been to London Zoo multiple times but this has been my best experience. They have opened up new areas in the Zoo making it bigger. The pride of Lions and the Gorillas were the highlight for me. My little boy loved the Penguins and the Reptile area. There are multiple food places, toilets and even a prayer room. Highly recommended!
Nice atmosphere, but not much variety
• The place feels quite spacious and open.
• It’s a good spot to enjoy a sunny day with kids.
• The penguin area is definitely a
highlight — very well done!
• That said, the overall variety of animals and attractions is limited.
• For the price, I expected more.
• When you hear “London Zoo,” you naturally have higher expectations.
One of the best I've ever visited, the habitats looked natural and spacious - to the extent that we couldn't see some of the animals, but I prefer that to them being always on show. Still got amazing views of those who were visible. Lots of refreshment stands and places to sit, which are needed, because the place is huge! We saw penguin feeding time which was informative and good fun.
A zoo that is dedicated to conservation. Plenty to see and do. Animals are treated well and cared for. Some enclosures could be better, but there is a programme of renewal and improvement. Facilities are very good. Staff are great. The walk through butterfly and bird exhibits are wonderful.
