Legacy Airedale Hotel Auckland

Had a wonderful stay at Airedale. Room was spacious, bright, and had everything you could need. Bed and pillows were the comfiest I’ve had in a long time. Great soundproofing for such a central hotel. A prime spot: so easy to use it as a base to walk around Auckland, with lots of cafes, restaurants and attractions nearby. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate any requests. The housekeeping staff were especially lovely, always stopping to say hi in the corridors and to ask if you need anything. Small but functional gym which was perfect to get some fitness in each morning. Couldn’t recommend it more! Can’t wait to come back.

Stayed at her the weekend. Might be Auckland’s best hidden gem - superb service , great rooms, location is excellent - close to the action but far enough so you don’t hear any noise. Great staff! Breakfast was perfect! Amazing rooms!

Beautiful boutique hotel that felt special. Staff were warm and welcoming throughout our entire stay. Special touches were all over from the plush robes to the amazing and free coffee choices in the room. We utilized the gym and were happy it was there. The breakfast was amazing and the restaurant a beautiful place to start your day.

Husband and I started our journey here for a 2 week trip in NZ and the staff were incredible. The room was incredible, staff was very kind and helpful. And it’s across the street from a fun venue! We stumbled upon a comedy show!

A fantastic hotel from the moment we checked in (we were early and this was no problem at all) until we left the following morning. Every staff member we interacted with was beyond friendly and helpful. The room had a really cool layout, a comfortable area to sit and lounge about and then a really cozy bed in another separate corner with perfect bed linen and a 2nd TV on a swivel to watch in bed. The bathroom was compact, but lovely. Great water pressure in the shower. If I had to complain about anything in the bathroom, it was just the lack of bench space beside the basin to put toiletry bag etc. (But that's just being picky). The room was on the first floor beside the lifts, but it was super quiet - no street noise at all. We found the location good - a quieter end of Queen Street - and we used lime scooters to get around as these were in abundance. We did have a bedside lamp that kept flashing randomly when it wasn't even switched on, so we simply took the bulb out and that fixed the issue. Breakfast was delivered to our room and it set us up for the whole day - absolutely delicious. I wish we could have stayed an additional night to share in even more of the comfort.
