Our experience at DoubleTree was great! We were able to stop by early in the day and drop off our luggage which they kept secure for us. We checked in incredibly late, past midnight, and found the front desk to be incredibly friendly and lively. They brought our bags up to our room for us as well! It was a brief stay but very clean and the room felt luxury. I would love to visit again and stay longer, highly recommend.

Absolutely loved it. We've been to many hotels all around NZ and the world and this has been one of my favourite. It's unassuming and unpretentious but the rooms are very elegantly decorated and comfortable, the bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. Being a horse lover I especially loved the horse photographs! Everything was exceptionally clean, breakfast was great with a nice variety of food to choose from. The staff were all cheerful and professional. Free and easy parking was a big plus. Now for the not so good - there was a bit of confusion at check in, we booked through a third party and it seems communication about our package wasn't very clear. The a/c kept turning on and off for no reason which was very strange. There weren't any toiletries in the bathroom save for sanitary bags. But all in all we really enjoyed our stay, were very well rested and will definitely be coming back. It has been our favourite hotel in NZ so far!

We are spending a few nights at this hotel after arriving in Auckland in the middle of an international move. This hotel has been fantastic for my family. We reserved two connected rooms which are clean, bright and comfortable. The staff has been very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious with so many choices and the restaurant and bar offered delicious food in the evening. Overall we have been very pleased with this hotel during our move.

Great hotel! For a "suburban" hotel it is a surprising location! Everything from the lobby, to the restaurants to the rooms are top notch. Large, clean and well cared for. The check in process was quick and easy. As Diamond members we got a free continental breakfast and it was nice that the food was clearly marked - some items for continental and some items for the full breakfast.

Plenty of parking, great location as I needed to be in Papakura for work. Rooms nicely set up, immaculately clean and super comfy bed and pillows. Close to motorway access but very quiet. Had a great dinner <chefs kiss>, best sleep in ages, fabulous staff and warm cookies. I didn’t want to leave! Recommended and I’ll be back. Soon.
