Reviews
Hotel Bucegi in Sinaia receives mixed reviews from visitors. While some guests appreciate the clean rooms, comfortable beds, and warm atmosphere with a quiet environment, others criticize the unprofessional staff at the restaurant for long waiting times, mistakes with bills, lack of friendliness, and unwelcoming service. The food quality is also a point of contention with comments ranging from good portions and traditional Romanian flavors to small portions, not fresh dishes like papanasi (a Romanian dessert), and high prices. Despite its central location and lovely terrace offering a nice setting for meals or drinks, many reviewers advise against visiting due to poor service experiences.
In my opinion, the best hotel in Sinaia. Large and clean rooms, excepțional location. Good food at the restaurant and a very nice staff.
I didn't take rooms at the hotel I just visited the restaurant and all I can say is: the food was great and very delicious. A place to eat.
Was beautiful and was everything we needed the staff also very friendly
We only stopped for lunch here. We had some good food, with generous portions. The pizza had that "good-old romanian pizza in popular touristic places" flavour, which was sure a nice blast from the past. They waiter was polite, and even could spoke a bit of Spanish.
It is an old hotel but in an excellent location. The room was clean and well maintained. Unfortunately the staff is a bit unwelcoming. Mainly the people who served breakfast. No smiles on their faces.
