Among all the places we've eaten at in Wellington, this has got to be our absolute favorite. Every single thing we ordered was so delicious, from the fish tacos and chili calamari to the big breakfast and the Snickers milkshake. The place was also so cozy with a great view, and the service was excellent despite it being a public holiday. Totally recommend this place. 🍳
We enjoyed catching up with family recently at the Seashore Cabaret, and this spot was perfect for the occasion.
Drove past it initially as there's no sign on the outside of the building, just the entrance menu adds, but the name is inside the covered door?
Anyway it's upstairs from there in the old dance hall, and photo's from that time are displayed prominently inside, and are alongside eclectic items from the past...great vibe, which combines into a unique theme.
The food is tasty and presentable, and fits within expectations. You won't be wowed but SC is efficient, and it has to be as this is one of the few places I've been to lately with a queue. Go early to beat it...
The icing on the cake is the view and on this day it was a deal breaker. Our coffee/lunch date was complete, and it was a pleasant experience. Reccomend.
I stopped by this place for lunch. It was bustling with people, and the staff were generally friendly, creating a lively atmosphere. While the food was somewhat disappointing, if you're looking for a unique experience and enjoy a vibrant environment with a great view before or after your meal, it's worth a visit.
