The restaurant's signature creations are praised as amazing by patrons. While some mention long wait times and occasional misses on orders, the overall experience seems to be positive with excellent customer service noted.
Treat yourself to a delightful afternoon tea after your refreshing walk from Mount Maunganui. You'll find a cozy and clean atmosphere with friendly staff ready to welcome you. The food portions are generous and the prices are quite reasonable. I absolutely adored this spot and can't wait to return for my next trip.
The serving sizes were satisfying, and the prices felt reasonable, making it a solid choice for a meal. The coffee lattes hit the spot, and the kids enjoyed their milkshakes. It's also great that they offer dairy-free options
We had the Truck Stop Pancake Stack, Breakfast Burrito and Belgian Waffles and Bacon. For the pancake stack and waffles, we were able to substitute the bacon for a hashbrown instead. They were presented nicely and the portions were huge/worth the price. Really tasty but the hashbrowns could've been a bit better. Their famous dixie hot chocolate is really good and tastes like maltesers.
We popped in for a quick lunch, the restaurant was busy but got a table. The service was really good and we just felt at home. A must stop when in Mt Maunganui.
I had a lovely South African dish, a bunny chow, which is lamb curry in a hollowed out loaf of bread. Top marks.
Ordered Pork Belly, my teeth almost fell out. Hard and no taste, dry as.
Pizza was nice thou
