If you have made it this far in the review, I recommend checking out patio guest house near Carolina or isla Verde Beach. TRUST ME you will want to spend the little extra for your sanity if you enjoy basic living conditions and are travelling as a pair. Things have definitely crashed and burned here because I cannot relate. We ended up staying at the king bed room with the bathroom inside. Check in and check out was pretty easy. They have two private parking spaces which is about 1 min walking distance first come first served. It was very convenient for us since we rented a car although parking in front of the hotel was always available. Lots of restaurants/ bars/beach walking distance which was a plus ! They have a shared kitchen very clean they provide cups plates and utensils, a coffee maker, microwave fridge, dish soap and sponge for you to clean after yourself. In the rooms they provide toilet paper bath towels beach towels small shampoo conditioner and body wash. Had no complaint with the water , I was able to make it boiling hot or freezing cold. Ac worked amazing, could get pretty cold at night but we did have a control which we saw the morning after and were able to control the temperature! The pool area was always clean and inviting. The way the grounds are set up makes it easy to socialize. It was clean though I do feel like the showers could've been a bit cleaner and there's no water pressure so washing your hair is a bit annoying. Experienced some bumps and challenges with the room especially trying to get a hold of the property staff. Had to go through Travelocity to get a response, too bad I had some issues with the mechanics of the room A/c went out water all over the floor, finally was able to get another room, with other issues.
