Beautiful fortress with many places to walk around. It even has a zoo! I went here two separate days for a full experience. Be prepared to walk around a lot and a bunch of stairs.

Beautiful street to walk around. You can't go to Belgrade without walking around this area. It is super lively, and people are out and about until well past midnight so it feels extremely safe at all hours. The restaurants are open late and the coffee shops open early so there's always somewhere to sit down and hang out

Built in the 1900's, this is a fairly new Orthodaox Church. The outside is strikingly nice but there is some construction going on nearby the church. The inside of the church is one of the nicest churches I have ever seen. Absolutely amazing to see, all the gold in there. Also it is free to walk into the church and check it out.

It is one of the most important symbols of Belgrade with its fascinating architecture. It can be seen from many points of the city. It is impressive with its lighting in the evening. The huge mosaics and decorations in the interior are admirable. The lower floor of the cathedral is also a must-see. The structure may be one of the most impressive cathedrals in Europe.

Breathtaking!!! What a cool place to feel the spirit of God. It was calm on the interior. Lots of stunning art. Nice workers there to answer questions and teach about different aspects of the artwork. This is a must-see if you’re in Belgrade. Beautiful to walk around at night.

We went on a Saturday evening around 18:30 and it was a perfect time for visiting as it was basically empty. The inside is grandiose, walls are full with frescos, there are literally hundreds of them. Very impressive. I think it is a must if you are in Belgrade.

Believe me when I say this place is huge. The painting on top of roof is unbelievable One hell of a church with great history Consider this has one of the important place to visit in Belgrade. The church entry is free and is open from 7am in the morning.

A very magnificent Orthodox church. Inside, you can see portraits of Jesus Christ and other important figures. It is definitely one of the must-visit places in Belgrade. If you visit during the winter months, I don’t recommend buying a candle because the lighting area is outside, and the candle goes out as soon as you light it. :)

Especially if you’re a person having a major related to electronics, you should not miss this museum. However, the museum does nit adequately reflect the honorable value of Tesla. All in all, it’s a great place to visit if you would like to witness his inventions and life. The officers and the staff are really helpful and have very knowledgeable support.

Definitely worthwhile to visit this place and know about the genius who changed the world and our lives with his AC and other inventions. The staff, except the narrator, are not very friendly or appeared to be grumpy to work there. No bathroom on site. So strongly recommend anyone who want to visit empty ur bladder before going in.

Worst museum experience ever. Although it's the second best museum in Blegrad, I disagree. We came on Friday around 12:50 and we got in line because the tour is every hour and when we got near the entrance of the museum one of the staff came out to say that no one can enter because it is full and at 14:00 it is already booked for a group and told us to come back only at 14:45. We returned on Saturday around 14:30 and went through the same experience. We were told not to come back until 17:00 when they still had vacancies. We returned at 16:00 and waited for a full hour to be among the first people in line. After we finally made it into the museum, we were squeezed into a room with a few chairs not enough for 60 people... even though they claim the number of people on a tour is 60. We were shown a 15 minute movie showing the life of Nikola Tesla, then we were put in another room where we were shown 3 experiments on 3 devices (replicas of the original) of Nikola Tesla. After these demonstrations we were allowed to walk in the last room where Nikola Tesla's original belongings (clothes, bags and other objects) were kept. The tour didn't last more than 35 minutes, and the guide is not fully prepared because we asked some questions and she didn't know how to answer us, it seemed more like she memorized a text and that's it. In conclusion, the organization is very bad, they don't have a bathroom and no water machine, the guide is not prepared. Not even worth the price of 8 euro. The building is very big, but the tour is only held in 3 small rooms where 60 people are squeezed in. They could do much more. I do not recommend this museum at all.

Payment is definitely only accepted in Serbian dinars. I’m not sure if they exchange money inside, so make sure to have at least 800 Serbian dinars with you. Whatever time slot you plan to go, be there at least 45 minutes early. They allow a total of 60 people inside at a time. Once inside, a short film about Tesla is shown, and there are also enjoyable small tests. It’s definitely a must-visit place when in Serbia.

The museum was smaller than I expected and the tour was short. However, the guide was very attentive and cheerful. It was a nice experience overall. Engineers in particular should definitely pay a visit.

I have to admit, I didn’t read any reviews or gather info beforehand – I just decided to visit the museum since I was in the area. We waited for over 45 minutes on a hot, sunny day, and I ended up burning my scalp while in line (bring hats and water if you're going on a summer day!) The museum is quite small, and they only allow 60 people per hour. You’re always part of a group since they don’t do demonstrations for just one or two people. The first part of the tour is a short film about Tesla’s biography, then they show some of his inventions in action with small demonstrations that visitors can participate in. Our guide did a great job, keeping things engaging. The museum displays Tesla’s ashes and some of his personal belongings, so there are basically two rooms – one with his inventions and the other with his personal items and ashes. A very important thing to note: they don’t accept credit cards, and you can only pay on-site with Serbian dinars (no online tickets available). It was quite crowded when we visited on a Saturday afternoon, so we didn’t even have a seat during the first part of the presentation. Definitely a must-visit, but don’t expect too much since the museum is quite small.

One of the best places in the city where it is pleasant to ride a bike. There is a circular bike path about 8 km. The bike path is in poor condition in places on the right side of the lake. I often ride a bike here myself. There is everything for active recreation, sports fields, tennis courts, beaches. I also like that there is an area for cooking meat, and next to it is a large meadow where you can play frisbee. I did not like the beaches, the infrastructure is old, the cabins are small and uncomfortable, the water itself is warm, but in mid-July there is already a lot of algae, it is not pleasant to swim. In general, if this park is updated, it will be the best place in the city for recreation. p.s. there are very beautiful sunsets in the summer

A nice walk, bike and running opportunity, would recommend to go by bus or foot and park in the nearby shopping mall. Great views and plenty of photo opportunities

Beautiful place to enjoy a day out of sports, swimming, coffee, lunch or picnic… the place has a small train going around the river will save your legs if you don’t like walking be ready with your trainers you will do serious walking. They charge flat rate for parking 150 dinars. Definitely a place that I recommend to visit.

the bathrooms are dirty, but atleast they're free and mostly available, great place to have bbq with friends in the nature, has space for various sports and has a few more attractions.

If you don't like crowded places, you should avoid Ada Ciganlija during weekends. Otherwise, this is one really beautiful park/beach/lake where you can enjoy different activities - walking, riding a bicycle, swimming, playing different sports, having a picnic....

Great nature place for all sport, swimming, footy, basketball, tennis, volleyball, running, bicycle and many more… It’s clean green area with some restaurants and bar. One of my favorite place in Belgrade.

This is a very beautiful and green place, lots of cafes and bars around, a really nice track around the lake, there are places to rent bikes and there is also a bike path around the lake. There is a really successful water skiing lake at the price of 2100 Serbian dinar and in the area you will find a spa and massage at relatively cheap prices and for a long time, this is highly recommended. In the winter many of the sites are closed. Have fun.

Belgrade Zoo is a decent place to visit, especially for families with kids, but it has its pros and cons. The location in Kalemegdan Fortress is unique, and there’s a good variety of animals to see. Some areas are well-kept, and there’s a charming historical feel to the zoo. However, many enclosures feel too small, and some animals don’t seem to have enough space. While it’s an interesting stop, it could use improvements to provide a better environment for the animals. Worth a visit if you’re in the area, but not a must-see attraction.

It’s a nice zoo and the location is amazing; being situated in the Belgrade fortress. Good choice for a weekend activity when the weather is good. The only truly horrible part is the where monkeys are kept. They all look extremely depressed and it’s just sad to see them, especially given the state of the indoor cages.

Nice place to spend time with kids. It’s not too big, not too small - just right. There were lots of animals, but my kids were absolutely amazed by the geckos roaming around freely. One downside: some visitors were feeding the animals chips and junk food and there didn’t seem to be any staff around to stop it. It would be great if there was more supervision to protect the animals.

Belgrade Zoo is unique due to its location, situated in a medieval fortress in the centre of a vibrant capital city. Many animals representing the faunas of all edges of the planet Earth and the oldest alligator in captivity who is turning 88 this year.

The zoo was super big! We went during winter time when snow was present and thus some animals were kept in inside spaces due to the cold. Nonetheless, we saw so many animals, but no fish or insects! Worth a visit for sure, but maybe during springtime for better visuals! Also, the staff doesn’t talk english and it was so irritating to trying to communicate about the tickets and some other issues too!

The zoo was clean, organized, and had good amenities, making it ideal for a family outing. A must-visit for anyone who loves nature and wants to learn more about wildlife!

It’s has many type of animals however I feel the spaces for those animal are not that enough. Especially for birds. When a space is too small animals suffer from stress. We humans used to live in a pack like racoons but not all the animals. My most favourite animal was the penguin 🐧 and racoons. Kids friendly place.

A historical building located in Zemun. To reach it you will need to climb many stairs. At the top you will get a nice view to the Danube river and the city. There is a nice restaurant near the entrance. A ticket is required to enter the tower. Payment by cash only, 2 Euro or 260 RSD.

For 2€ you can get on top of the tower and you can enjoy the beautiful view of the city, the danube, the sunset, the park ! Everything ! Not that many stairs, there's a parking outside so you can get easily

I loved the city center of Belgrade, but Zemun is my favourite place in the whole city and the north of Serbia and you get here at the Gardos Tower the most beautiful view of Belgrade in my opinion, as well as the Danube and Zemun itself

Stunning view from the top. Bit hard to climb to the place for the first time visitors and I can see someone getting lost at first. You won't find anything special around this place and if you are visiting in summer heat can be a big problem as there is no place to hide frome the sun. Overall i recommend visiting but bring a lot of water if you are going at summer time.

The site Is very pleasant. The little stair climb to the tower is very picturesque with the small houses around. We didn't climb at the top of the tower but the view over the city and the Danube us wonderful. A nice moment!

It requires a little hardwork to arrive, but once there, you will have good view of the city.

House of Flowers – a place that truly takes you back in time. The atmosphere, the collection of Tito's personal belongings, and the historical exhibits are impressive. One of the most memorable items was the key to the city of Los Angeles – an unexpected artifact in such an exhibition. The park surrounding the museum is also beautiful and perfect for a walk. Even my child found it interesting, which speaks to the museum's high quality. The only downside is the entrance fee, which could be a bit lower. Overall, a great place to explore Yugoslav history

Stunning place and a real tribute to Tito’s legacy. I highly recommend to anyone interested in the life of Tito and consequently ex-Yugoslavia rich history.

It's a remnant of bloody dictator Tito's personality cult. 45 years after death he is still worshipped as a god in his temple. It's outright disgusting. But a very good historical reminder.

House of flowers is the memorial ofJosip Broz Tito, the most famous President of Yugoslavia. It contains the Tomb of the former presiden and a museum with beautiful flowers. It's a myst visit place for people who are interested in history. The place is a bit far from the main city, can be reached by cab or bus nos 40, 41.

It’s definitely worth a visit but it’s not in a great state. More explanations in English are needed, sometimes there’s only Serbian or the English part is very short. The location of the museum is amazing and all the canons and tanks in front of it and in the nearby park make it a great experience.

The Military Museum is located inside the Belgrade Fortress. We couldn't visit inside the museum, but visited the display of tanks, armoured cars etc in front of the museum. Some were acquired during World War II, and captured from retreating Nazis. These decommissioned tanks and artillery are lined up along the wall on both sides of the path. It's worth visiting this museum.

If you like history this is the right place for you ! Outside collection it’s amazing but inside the museum it’s even better ! Be ready to walk and read for few hours .You can book your tour guide in advance . Must see !

A beautiful Orthodox church near the city center. Also located right next to the park. Easy to get to on foot. The church was inaugurated in 1940. The church has wonderful ancient art. You should visit here.

The Chapel of Saint Petka in Belgrade is dedicated to Saint Paraskeva. It is located at a way connecting the upper and the lower city of the Belgrade Fortress, in proximity of the Ružica Church. The present-day chapel was built in 1937 after a project of the architect Momir Korunović. A chapel of Saint Petka in Belgrade was built in 1417 by an unknown dignitary when her relics were translated to Belgrade at the request of Princess Milica of Serbia. After Belgrade was captured in 1521, the relics were send to Constantinople and in 1641 to Iași. The current chapel contains a piece of the relics. The complex also includes a baptismal font, sacred spring and the parish home.
