The heart of all polo matches in Sotogrande. Phenomenal venue - the canchas are pristine. We also love the shopping options each summer and the bar. Food options in 2024 are also better. Free entrance and parking

Fantastic atmosphere and experience, the polo was top class along with the food stalls and bar. Definitely worth a visit either with your family or with friends.

Not a big polo fan, but when you get a good game it's actually quite exciting... The club is beautiful, great after polo entertainment. Highly recommend.

They threw me out for absolutely no reason. The bouncers are full of themselves and won’t listen to you. Threatened to hit me if I didn’t move away from the boundary of the fence which mind you was outside their jurisdiction. Terrible experience, would not go again.

Nestled along the stunning beachfront of Sotogrande, Trocadero Sotogrande is a modern tavern that perfectly captures the essence of Mediterranean dining. This chic beach club is not just about delicious grilled meats and seafood; it also boasts an impressive selection of rice dishes and refreshing cocktails, all enjoyed on a beautiful seafront terrace.
Amazing place and great atmosphere. Food is good also, prices are high but overall experience is worth it. Sunbeds are €40/person and you definitely need a reservation for lunch especially summer.
Sorin P — Google review
A unique atmosphere. The greenest grass, the high palm trees, the modern swimming pools, and the beach are making this place excellent. It is extremely expensive (40€ per sun bed, ~50€pp for food) but it is still worth it if you'll spend the whole day. Regarding the restaurant, the portions are very big and the variety is really good. All plates are delicious, and the only negative is the service. They are really slow, and just a few of them speak English.
Aléxandros K — Google review
Loved the place. Went there end May it wasn’t too crowded and everything was pretty and very well looked after. Lots of sun beds available and a few swimming pools. The staff was extremely helpful, especially Alberto, and spoiled us. The only thing to improve may be the menu as they are mainly serving sushi and I’m not a fun of rice. There could be more options, salads, deserts. Loved the cocktails though!

Really Strange trying to find a restaurant open in Sotograde on a monday night . A lot of Restaurants are closed Monday and Tuesday . Fortunately this one on the ocean front was open, What a pleasant surprise, great ambiance with views of the ocean and pool area. We had some Pil pil praws that were delicious as was the fish and Calamari all washed down with a good bottle of Rioja

So relaxing, friendly staff, great food in the restaurants and drinks brought to your loungers 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Lovely beach club with lots of sunbeds and a separate area for children! There are two adult pools and a large child’s pool. There isn’t much beach so it’s all about the pools! The cocktails are great but a tad pricey. Same with the food- it’s decent but a little overpriced in my opinion. However you are paying for the location, which is fabulous especially in the evenings! If you’re looking for somewhere with a romantic vibe- here is your place!
Zero G — Google review
I organized a dinner for 20 people, based on a recommendation from a friend of a friend. I must say it was disappointing and would not recommend the restaurant. We ate at several other restaurants between Sottogrande, Estepona, and Marbella and had better food, better service at half the price. The atmosphere/decor is nice, but it could not make up for the high prices, poor service and mediocre food. Because we were a large group we agreed on a fixed price menu of shared starters/tapas, a choice of mains, dessert, coffees and wine/beer. There was not enough food in total so many of us were still hungry, the service was slow with long waits in between courses, and the mains were lukewarm and clearly had been sitting under heat lamps for some time. And to top it all off, they wanted to charge me for an extra bottle of red wine, when we didn't have any beer or coffee, and just a few bottles of white wine - they claimed they informed me that there was fixed number of bottles of each wine for the group but we could not find it in any correspondence, and did not seem to understand or care that we drank less white wine and no beer. What a way to ruin what should have been a fun evening. As noted above, you can get better food and service for half the price elsewhere in area.

Foodisiac Sotogrande is a dining spot that celebrates the finest products of Andalucia while adding its own modern twist to traditional cuisine. The restaurant offers elegantly prepared dishes in a delightful atmosphere, with waterfront seating, lush greenery, and pleasant music creating a memorable experience. The service is professional and efficient without being intrusive. One unique feature is the option to access menus through QR codes on the table or their website.
We really enjoyed it. The breakfast was excellent, and the view of the boats was fantastic. The staff was friendly and efficient. The freshly squeezed orange juice without ice was a big plus for me, as it wasn't diluted. The price-performance ratio was fair, considering the prime location.
Ralf K — Google review
My partner and I visited Foodisiac Sotogrande in October and had a delightful experience overall. The service was fantastic, and the food was delicious. We visited in the afternoon, and the ambiance was perfect for a relaxing meal. However, we did find the prices to be a bit steep, especially the €6 for a basket of bread, which felt excessive. Perhaps the location in the marina plays a part in the higher pricing. Despite this, it was a pleasant visit and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Very good breakfast by the marina. Love the plants inside and the wall tiles of the place.
Maria J — Google review
The place is nice and the location very convenient. We ordered the gyozas and they were tasty, the sauce made them nicer. I order the octopus as the main and even the sauce that it has was really good the octopus was very hard and chewy, my company ordered the salmon and said that didn’t have much flavour and also the green asparagus was a bit hard. We had a white chocolate mouse for dessert and it tastes more like caramel than white chocolate, and find it to be more like a pastry than a dessert for me. The waitresses were a bit slow and wasn’t many people on the tables for them not check if we needed anything. So I would say a bit overpriced for what we had.
Nere C — Google review
Had very high expectations because I've been seeing marketing pictures and food looked very nice, we came with the family and excited to try food we wanted to order some of the main dishes with bread, waitress told us they don't have sourdough bread left so she offered brioche bread. It was alright for us at first but the point that made us very DISAPPOINTED is that costumers beside us, BOTH TABLES HAD THE BREAD THEY TOLD US THEY DONT HAVE. Very bad costumer care and service.

Great place and good food, we eat here on a weekly basis. Guacamale is what I recommend for starter and so is the Lubina and Salmon. Black rice was too salty for my taste, overall nice experience.

El Gaucho de Sotogrande is a charming and romantic restaurant with a cozy patio adorned with buganvilla trees and candlelit tables, creating a perfect setting for a delightful dining experience. The owners are known for their warm hospitality and accommodating nature, ensuring that even without reservations, guests are promptly seated.
El Gaucho offers an incredible atmosphere for an even better meal. My steak was amazing and they do a great burger as well! If you still have room after the meal the strawberries and crème was the perfect way to end a great meal! The staff is wonderful, and made sure we had an incredible dining experience. I want to plan another trip just to get another El Gaucho steak!!!

We had an amazing dinner party at El Gaucho de Sotogrande on the 11th of April, and it was a night to remember! Everyone absolutely loved the steak – perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and served with style. The wine selection was also spot on, beautifully complementing the meal. A special mention goes to Jack, the owner’s son, who was simply outstanding – attentive, knowledgeable, and full of charm. He truly elevated the entire experience. Thank you for an unforgettable evening – we’ll definitely be back!

We called a table for 12. They understood 2 and put us outside in the cold. We asked for coffee with alcohol, they messed up the order and did not want to change them because the restaurant was « too busy ». After complaining sufficiently, they did change them but without putting any alcohol. We did not receive any napkins. Honestly, at some point we couldn’t bear with the inefficiency of the service and just went along and got out as quickly as we could. Don’t take the ribs, you get only bones and barely any meat. It’s a shame because it was a really good place before that I loved. The new manager is not understanding at all: « sorry the restaurant is full we cannot make new coffees » as half of the restaurant was emptying in front of us…
Geoffrey J — Google review
The restaurant has quite a romantic atmosphere, as the tables are spread in a small and cozy patio under buganvilla trees with candles around. The owners are very nice and accommodating. We came without any reservation and they found us a table rather soon, though being fully packed. For a starter we had lettuce salad and some juicy beef empanadas and for the main course we ordered solomillo - sirloin and lamb chops with baked potatoes . Delicious!

One of my favorite restaurants in the world. Mushroom sauce on the steak is truly the nectar of Gods. The romantic ambiance, the staff that makes you feel like family, and the food that makes you feel like a king makes El Gaucho a can't miss spot.

Cafetería KE Sotogrande is a charming spot nestled in the heart of Sotogrande marina, offering a warm Mediterranean ambiance for a delightful dining experience. The Chicken Curry is a standout dish, featuring tender and succulent chicken cooked to perfection in a rich and flavorful curry with well-balanced spices. While it may be on the pricier side and attract an upscale clientele, it's an excellent choice for casual lunches or breakfasts.
Excellent restaurant and fabulous attentive service from Monolo and Gabrial. Food tasted great. Amazing coffee. Indoor and outdoor seating. Spacious dining room. Loved the menu, lots to choose from. A little train runs around above your head, which was a delightful little touch. They also sell cigarettes from a machine, cigars displayed in a cabinet, and excellent quality wine to take away My first time dining here, and I'd like to return for dinner.
SARAH B — Google review
We really enjoyed our dinner there. The place was fully booked and we got seats at the high table facing the marina which turned out to be great. We loved the view with the meal. The food was ok. Pesto ravioli was really good. So was the burrata with avocado salad. Tomato soup looked pretty but tasted like it came out of can or had tomato ketchup in it. Bread looked nice but didn’t taste as good. Pumpkin ravioli pocket dish had nice and creamy sauce but the pasta tasted too sweet. Service was below average and rather disappointing for what they charge and what they pretend to be. It was hard to get anyone’s attention and we had to get up from our table a few times find the staff and ask for things (salt, pepper, water, bill, etc.). I asked for hot water and it came in a steel milk pot kind of container without any cup or glass. I thought it was funny! The wonderful view (location), however, more than made up for everything else!

It's a nice place with good food and fast service. We had Tuna with good wine and an outstanding dessert. It was open on a weekday. Highly recommended! 😎

Not the best. Restaurant is in a nice area, but there are definitely better options in Sotogrande! They pretend to be something that they are not..an elegant fancy restaurant. 1.When we arrived we were both asked to close our shirts, although i had a top underneath which i found to be very weird especially since it was boiling hot outside and they have no cooling options for their terrace whatsoever. 2. Our bread and butter was literally brought after we had our meals because “bread is still in the oven” 3. As a woman, i had to poor the beer into my glass myself. Not so fancy is it? Also this happened after i have asked for a beer and was brought half a glass…never in my life have i seen a beer being brought in a normal glass and for it to be half empty, beer isnt whiskey. Been there a few times already and it never knocked me off my feet. Value for money is just not worth it.. also when trying to book they rarely have tables available, and even when you swing by its hard to get anything even when 70%of the place looks to be empty..

Fantastic place most of the staff are very helpful and friendly. The variety of food is amazing and their desserts are to die for . The wines are delicious 😋

Been here several times, during different times of the year and of course different days of the week. The food is good, to the expensive side but tasty. Portions are small though. Overall atmosphere is nice however the staff service is a dissapointing 2/5. All the reviews from below that complain about service seem to be true. It happened to us in the past but didn’t leave a review until now. The staff is slow, lack interest or excitement and do not portrait what this place concept is meant to mean. I have asked the waiter at least 4 times to bring us what we wanted to order and he still somehow messed it up. 4 times ! And he brought a glass of beer instead of a bottle, he brought the starters(bread and butter)AFTER the main course, took a solid 20 minutes to pay for the bill and the list can go on. I speak both English and Spanish so it’s not a language barrier just lack of care and and air of superiority from their side. Food 4/5 Atmosphere 4/5 Service 2/5

Tapas bar
Mediterranean restaurant
There are three tapas eateries situated adjacent to one another in Torreguadiaro. All three establishments are of exceptional quality, making it difficult to discern a standout among them. Each possesses its own unique specialties and variations of popular tapas dishes. At Puratapa, patrons relish every dish immensely. The waitstaff is amiable, although they face some challenges during peak hours when the restaurant is full.
Excellent value and we love the variety. The vitello tonnato is amazing, so are the pork ribs, the fideus and the croquetas. And the tacos.

The fast food restaurant of tapa, food is pre cooked and served cold, lacks flavour, is stodgy and served incredibly quickly. Very expensive for what it is- one tapa is on average 7 euro.
Sophia — Google review
This is maybe one of the best places where I have ever ordered food. The variety of dishes, the high quality and skill with which the tapas are prepared and served, the phenomenal taste, the affordable prices and the friendly service ...this place is simply wonderful. You can pick your variation of tapas as you like and they are not what you'd call "standard". We will come time and time again!
Colin W — Google review
The best tapas I’ve had in the whole of Spain! Really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and the staff were really friendly! They brought them out as they were ready rather than all at once which we enjoyed as 4 of us where sharing a lot of different tapas dishes between us! Defiently recommend!! The prawn horns are a must!!

There are three tapas restaurants next to each other in Torreguadiaro. All three are excellent and I can’t pick one that is better than the other. In fact, they all have their own specialties and variations of common tapas. In Puratapa we enjoyed all dishes very much. The waiting staff is friendly but when the restaurant is full they are a bit challenged. The music is the only thing we didn’t like. It was very loud and they kept repeating five songs.

Chambao Sotogrande Beach Bar Club is a top-notch chiringuito in Sotogrande that offers delicious food and drinks. The location is amazing, with cute tables overlooking the sand and sea. The staff are friendly and professional, providing great service. It's recommended to book in advance due to its popularity. Guests love the sublime scallops, spectacular burgers, magnificent steaks, and special tuna dishes.

This is a nice chiringuito on the Torreguadiaro playa. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. The seating arrangements are great with many different options. The proximity to the ocean is perfect. A great option for a bite to eat and a drink. Open late as well.

Amazing food - we had 4 different seafood meals and each was excellent. The atmosphere is very well curated with a DJ through the afternoon until 8pm, playing a rolling deep and tribal sound at the perfect volume to add to, but not dominant the vibe. The service was friendly and relaxed and the setting is beautiful - the sunset behind the bar and the moon came up out of the sea both evenings we were there - magical.

Arek K — Google review
Professional attentive staff. Professional attentive staff. Professional attentive staff. I can't say it enough. The food could be mediocre (but it isn't, it's great), but all would be forgiven and 5* still given, because the staff are totally on point, and that is something more rare than rocking horse poop along this area of the Costa del Sol. I have a nut allergy, so when my desert which included vainilla ice-cream with walnuts in it (!) arrived, they quickly whisked it away and prepared an alternative and the shift manager also appeared to ask if all had been remedied to my satisfaction. The playlist is great, and you can still hold a low-key conversation. The setting and seating all adds to a chilled atmosphere. It is not one of the cheaper beach bars, but you get what you pay for and here we got all we should expect from the service industry, and many other businesses could learn from. Crab and guacamole - seriously good, and slightly different from the norm. Salmon Poke (and I imagine the Tuna as well) - rice cooked perfectly, fully loaded with edamame, avocado, carrots, corn, cucumber, mango, beet, and generous amount of salmon. Mussels in mango and coconut - really on point (this is coming from someone who is not a great fan of mussels) although a little more coconut flavour wouldn't go amiss. I think the photos of the scallops and entrecot speak for themselves.

Do NOT order scallops. They brought us 4 miniscule pieces which costed €16.50. After bringing the manager over to see if this is just a fluke or mistake with the portion size, she proceeded to tell us with a huge smile that this is what you get in Spain, and suggested we can take as many pictures as we like. On top of this they were overcooked and as a result, inedible. Cocktails are overpriced with bucketloads of ice to help with costs. We were also charged 3 euros for seemingly nothing. Turns out that cheap bread they put on your table, even if you return it straight back and say no thanks, will be charged on top of your bill. When the servers were questioned at bill time, you could tell they couldn't convincingly lie their way outta that one

I decided to visit the Hairy Lemon, a Mediterranean restaurant, for the first time after a long hike. It was a delightful experience to sit down and order some refreshments and food. I found it odd that they only took food orders when it was time for lunch, but they did serve drinks. The food quality was excellent and the customer service was average. The prices were typical for the Sotogrande area, so there were no surprises in that regard.
Amazing full English breakfast at The Hairy Lemon! Generous portions with perfectly cooked bacon, sausages, eggs, and all the classic sides, made with top-quality ingredients. Paired with a fresh coffee, it was the ideal start to my day. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere—can’t recommend it enough!

I took my wife here for dinner on Friday night, we like the menu because it pretty much has something for everyone! Lots of choices! We had both decided on pizza, my wife taking a four cheese and myself the pulled pork, When they arrived they both looked fabulous and of a good size, mine was delicious I loved it, but my wife's four cheese arrived slightly colder and some of the cheese wasn't fully cooked, but no trouble, the waitress took it back and it came out perfect and she loved it! Pretty much after that though we were never approached again to ask if everything was ok or would we like another drink, we just sat with empty glasses until we asked for the bill, which after 20 minutes still hadn't arrived, eventually we did get a waitress to fetch it and we paid, the price for the two pizza's one red wine and a coke just under 34€ which was very good, but I couldn't help thinking how much more they could have sold me if the front of house staff were not just a little bit more attentive but actually attentive at all, the service here really does leave a lot to be desired, the guy behind the bar looked stressed all the time and the rest of the staff out front really just dragged themselves about looking like I really can't be bothered and just want to go home! They paid little to no interest in their tables and customers which is such a shame as the food and menu here is very good, The presentation of the dishes coming out of the kitchen looks fabulous, and the flavours of the pizzas were delicious! A little bit of staff training or managerial presence on the front of house would go a long way here also accompanied by a little passion and enthusiasm for the job and their customers from the waiting staff!

This was a really nice place to eat, with excellent quality meals at a very reasonable price. The chicken, the steak, and the burger were particularly good. It is just around the corner from the marina and other restaurants right on the marina (with better views). I would absolutely recommend this place for its food and service.
Patricia G — Google review
We decided to visit this place for the first time after a long hike so it was bliss to sit down and order some drink and food. I thought it strange that they wouldn't take our food order till it was time to open for lunch at least they served us drink. The quality of the food was very good and customer service was average. Price was typical for the area of Sotogrande so no surprises there. I will definitely go back as really enjoyed sitting outside with a lovely atmosphere. If I m there on Sundays would love to try their Sunday roasts as they did look impressive.
Annabelle C — Google review
Good breakfast choices and the lunch menu is really good! The one euro tapas on a Friday was brilliant but I believe they aren’t doing it anymore which is a shame! The Sunday Roast- I sent mine back 3 times. Cheap thin cut of beef and then the lamb shank had plastic in it! The staff were great about it but it was busy so had to wait a long time for a replacement! Wouldn’t come back for this again but certainly for everything else!

Mytilus in Sotogrande is a delightful surprise for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. The restaurant offers generous portion sizes, with dishes like calves liver served to perfection and accompanied by delectable sides. The location itself is described as one of the most beautiful and exquisite places on Costa del Sol, making it an ideal spot for a romantic dinner or special occasions.
By far the best restaurant at the marina. Quality food ( with a Belgian flare) cooked to perfection, good service, comfortable chairs and white cotton tablecloths. Wide menu choice that caters as well to family ( pizza and pasta) but they are known for their higher end fare, particularly their beef. Had a melon that was covered with tender and delicious Serrano ham. The mussels in wine sauce were large, and cooked to perfection. We went for their chateaubriand which is a filet minion roast. Cooked exactly as we asked for and carved at our table with an excellent bernaise sauce and crispy fries. Mouth watering, tender and delicious. Very good Spanish wine list. Good value given the quality you get and prices of other restaurants in the area. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Mytilus Belgian Restaurant Sotogrande. The setting by the marina is gorgeous, the food very good and the service professional and efficient. Rosa makes you feel so welcome and is always pleasant and cheerful. We will be returning as this is becoming our favorite restaurant!

Disappointed to say the least. Perfect spot on the harbour for a lovely meal but apart from the Mussels, food was lazy and expensive for what it is. Our bill included a charge of €3.80 for Cubierto, when asked what this was the waitress pointed at the table cloth. Not sure if this is a common thing in Sotogrande, but I don't think I'll be visiting again.
Lee G — Google review
Food was rubbish! The worst I've had in sotogrande in 8 years. Only tried it because Don Diego was closed! The 'belgian' mussels had no taste, overcooked and not cleaned properly. The vol au von with chicken and mushrooms again tasteless and had no mushrooms! The dish was also served nearly cold and had to be sent back, this dish was not freshly cooked!

I am only able to give this restaurant 1 star. I might have been able to leave a 5 star review for the food but unfortunately we did not get any food. We ordered two cokes and two mussels but we leave after 40 mins without getting any food.

This is a great restaurant with fantastic service and great food. The crowd seems to gravitate to the port for a poorer food offering which is surprising. Highly recommend you visit this restaurant
Ger M — Google review
This place is suddenly owned by Belgian owners but as a Belgian person I can tell you: this is not Belgian food. The quality was so poor that even if the prices were “low” it was still too expensive. We specifically said no bread yet they put some on our plate so they could charge cubiertos. I ordered the 4 cheese pizza and my friend the “belgian” mussels. The pizza was of such poor quality with a thick layer of cheap cheese and the mussels were not cleaned properly and very small. Before this was a very good restaurant but now with the new owners it is horrible. The location is nice and that is about it. Don’t go here if you like good price/quality food.
