Kek Lok Si Temple, located on the White Crane Mountain in Penang, Malaysia, is the largest Chinese Buddhist temple in the country. Built in 1889, it showcases a blend of architectural styles from China, Thailand, and Myanmar. The temple complex is divided into lower, middle, and hilltop sections featuring intricate decor and numerous Buddha images. Visitors can explore various religious and cultural structures as well as beautifully landscaped gardens.
We visited on 31 March 2025. A public holiday. Very bad traffic jam towards the temple. We parked at the 1st car park at base level. We didn’t know that we could drive up to the different levels and pay parking there too. At base level, you can take the lift (funicular) at RM$3 per person to go up to mid level. RM$3 for the down ride. Total RM$6 person. The 15 minute walk up to the mid level was not nice as there was no proper walking path or signage & the hot weather made it worse. You can drive up and park at mid level. From mid level, same thing applies. Lift (funicular) RM$3 per person to go up top level to view the large Goddess of Mercy. RM$3 to come down. Unfortunately, the Goddess of Mercy area was closed for upgrading works. At the top level, you get a nice view and there’s a temple too. You can also drive up to top level and it’s paid parking. The pagoda area is worth a visit too. RM$2 per person. It’s at the mid level and a short walk only. It is a beautiful temple and a must visit place. We enjoyed ourselves and you can spend up to 2hrs there. Wear slip on walking shoes is best. Enjoy 🥳

So many layers to this temple. We spent 3 hours exploring. Stunning architecture. We loved feeding the tortoises at the bottom of the temple. It was fun taking the cable car from midway to the top. The statue at the top was stunning, we really couldn't estimate how big the statue was from down below. The shopkeepers down below were so kind and helpful. They loaned us an umbrella when there was sudden rain and took time to explain and translate for us when we were exploring the shop. Even in the rain, we had a fabulous time. Mostly covered between the tiers of the temple. Definitely bring your umbrella in case of sudden rainfall like we had.

Always a glorious experience visiting here. The calm, the nature, the serene environment, the exquisite architecture - the place is just dripping with culture. You can take the lifts all the way up to the top. Best time is usually 8.30am - 10.00am when it's quiet and not crowded. Bring lots of change as well so you can try out the Wishing Ribbons and purchase lamps for each shrine.

Every time I come to Penang, I visit Ken Lok Si Temple. It is an architectural masterpiece and an absolutely beautiful place. It is quite well maintained, it is free of charge. Just need to have some cash for funicular and passing to the higher level of the temple structure. But it’s nothing compare to the experience you’ll get. Don’t treat it as a sightseeing, try to feel the energy of the place and spend some time sitting in their amazing temples. Praying or not, try to just be present and feel the space ✨

One of the coolest temples I have seen. Very big and very beautiful. For those wondering, it is free to go in and you don’t have to pay for anything. You can take a trolley up to the top I guess which cost a few ringgit. Pretty easy to find scooter parking near the bottom for free. By far Most turtles actually seen in one place at once.

If you are going by walk try to take a tram for 4 stations costs 8rm for adult n foreigners. While coming you can climb down easily. Try to go by evenings to avoid extreme heat. The temple has multiple layers first cover the big statues and temple on the top and lower one while coming you can cover the rest . Old and beautiful temple

Absolutely a must-see while visiting Penang/Georgetown. Beautiful views everywhere and so many places to explore and wander around. Go in the morning before it gets too hot and crowded. It was a little confusing to navigate and the inclined lift was broken but they provided shuttles. Not the most friendly workers and several big souvenir shops there, focused on tourists.

Temple entry is free. But if you wanted to visit the Buddha statue from the temple you need to take an elevator for that you need to pay 6 RM. But if you have a vehicle you can go for free with your own vehicle without waiting. Because in weekends you have wait for that elevator for about 10 minutes. I guess parking charges will be there better check.

Had a great tour from T/Tea, very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Tours are at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm and are free. There isn't a whole lot around the fort to read so the tours are needed. Lots of building work being done on and around the fort that should be finished in the next few years. Should leave a tip for your tour guide also.

It's a little sad to see how historic colonial buildings are treated in Malaysia, this is the world's history after all, and belongs to everyone...though certainly better than neighboring Indonesia where everything from the period has already been bulldozed.... This fort is currently under construction with only the northern part accessible from the inside, which is pointless because everything you can see inside, you can see from the outside without having to purchase tickets. Speaking of inside, it's full of abandoned food trailers , construction trash, an amphitheater, parking lots and shutdown coffee shops....nothing worth seeing and most certainly not worth paying for. The southern end of the fort is where the cool old storage rooms used to be and is being renovated, probably turned into more coffee shops and event space....which would be fine except it's all being done in painted concrete. Nothing I saw of the renovations is holding to the historic character of the structure...anyway, you're best off avoiding this place and seeing it in a photograph or maybe a quick walk around outside the perimeter of you're in the area. (The map directions aren't accurate in the photo)

Currently under major renovation. Most of the fort is closed to visitors. Besides a few cannons there is very little to see. From a military perspective it's not much of a fort. The walls are quite low and a slightly motivated ground attack would quickly overwhelm the defenders. Tickets are 20RM which is too high for such limited viewing. For some unknown reason this place is listed as a world heritage site. My guess is they had an empty slot to fill or owed somebody a favor. Don't go out of your way for this place. Across the street is a scenic sidewalk along the ocean for free.

I'm a bit disappointed with this since I expected more. It just looks like a state park with remains of a fort and some cannons. I think 20RM for entrance it's a bit too much. I guess it would be nice if you love history, otherwise I don't think it's worth it. It has a nice cafe inside, though I didn't try since the cafe was closing when I came here.

The fort has a lot of history associated with it, one that’s best experienced with a tour guide. Mr. Zul Haris was our tour guide - he patiently and diligently explained to us how modern Penang and Georgetown came into being, answered our questions and passionately walked us through every part of the fort that was open to public at the moment (a lot of it is under renovation now). It’s a great idea to start your Georgetown itinerary with this tour, since it orients you to this area well enough for you to experience the rest of it yourself with a lot of cultural context. There’s also a lovely cafe inside to refresh after a hot hour at the fort.

It's fort. Half of the fort was under construction. What you can see now as of May 2025, is some of canons. If you are not mania of Canon or history, then you don't need to come here. They charge 20RM for this. Also almost all canon can be viewed from outside of the park. Actually it looks nicer Lol. Anyway they explained that it's under construction, so it's fair.

With RM20, You get access to a rundown empty lawn(? and some ruins. You can get the exact same view outside of the fort, much closer to the ocean and also being able to see the lighthouse. The ticket staff was cold. Save yourself the entrance fee and go have some nice food along the ocean instead.

The Pinang Peranakan Mansion is a captivating heritage museum that provides insight into the Peranakans' way of life. This community comprises descendants of Chinese immigrants who settled in the Malay archipelago between the 15th and 17th centuries. The mansion, a meticulously restored ancestral home, displays an impressive array of antiques and artifacts that illustrate the cultural blend of local Malay, Indian, Chinese, and European influences.
This is fabulous , not to be missed museum house if you are into history or culture. It was the home of a high status Straights Chinese merchant and his ancestors and family. In addition to all the usual original family furniture there are rooms full of stuff, material cultural reflecting their way of life. The space with its daylight wells allows light and air into the house. We saw lots of Chinese visitors cosplaying, turns out this house featured in a Chinese Soap opera. Have a lot of fun.

From start to finish, everything about this visit was just right. We got there to discover that a guided tour in English was due to start in less than 15 minutes, so we took a seat and waited, soaking up the atmosphere. Most people didn’t choose to go on the tour, so we had a small group, which helped to personalise it. Stanley was our guide, and he was extremely good, very practiced and slick. He knew so much about the history of the building, and had a few jokes and personal anecdotes, that helped to make it come alive. The house itself is a wonder, giving a real glimpse into the lifestyle of a wealthy Chinese leader of the time. Some of the artworks were exquisite, and while too ornate for present day tastes, they gave an idea of the opulent lifestyle that a small number of people had. There were many interesting tales, they didn’t sugarcoat difficult historical situations either, explaining about foot binding and opium use, amongst others. The thing that impressed me most however, it quite blew me away, was the jewellery made from kingfisher feathers. It represented about 3 years work by a craftsman, is over 100 years old, and still looks fresh. Hopefully that gives a small taste of what the visit was like. It was the most interesting thing we did in Malaysia and for me it would be a definite must see if you spend some time in Georgetown.

Always on my bucket list to visit. The place has a lot of potential however, I think they may want to consider some measures of crowd control. Place can get very crowded and they are not all there to learn about the history or admire the exhibitions. Mostly tourists and some are there merely for photo shoot, and they took up a significant amount t of time and hoard the area and visitors may not be able to get in or peruse the exhibitions. A separate timing or day for just photo shoot might be useful. The exhibitions are not well maintained. Some has explanation board on it, some don’t. For MYR25.90, it is not worth the money. This place doesn’t seem to care about the history of the place or the preservation of its history. They are there to milk every dollar they can to make money. Disappointing.

A very beautiful mansion to learn more about Nyonya culture, we had a very professional and kind guide - Stanley, he is very knowledgeable and very proud of his roots, he shared a lot of great information and knowledge with us. We had a chance to visit a lot of great collections and know more about this specific group of communities. And the best part is, the guided tour is included in the ticket, no reservation required, and there are many tours being arranged all the time in different languages.

Some great insight into Chinese culture. The house is beautiful and well presented with thousands of original and unique artifacts. The tour guide was knowledgeable and fun and kept it really interesting. Leong San Tong Khoo Kongsi, also referred to as Khoo Kongsi, is a renowned Chinese clan temple and museum located in Malaysia. Quite a nice experience where you can view the majestic temple and some other buildings within the clan property. A lot of additional information is available to read through in the rooms underneath the temple which details the history, culture, and current endeavors of the Khoo clan. This is one of the must visit place at the UNESCO world heritage city of Georgetown! It is steep in history, as this building complex was build more than 100 years ago, dated back and completed at the year of 1906. I was so mesmerised by the intricacy, and the elaborately detailed design and architecture of the building. Even if you don't like history, you must be impressed by the workmanship, stone carvers at those times! This building is actually belongs to a hokkien clan, Khoo. It is still standing strong and solid, and there was no sign of structural damage, cracks or decay, even after so many years! Keep up the good work in maintaining it! There is a small entrance fee to visit this place, RM10 per person. It is opened from 9am to 5pm. Access from the main entrance at Cannon street.

We visited Penang Hill close to its closing time, and although the weather was foggy, it turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip. The mist added a mysterious, serene vibe to the surroundings, and with only a few people around, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. There were no crowds, no noise—just quiet views, cool air, and peaceful walks. It was like having an exclusive nighttime pass to one of Penang’s top attractions. The lights twinkling from the city below peeked through the fog, creating a dreamy atmosphere. If you’re not a fan of big crowds and don’t mind a little fog, visiting Penang Hill in the evening is definitely worth it. It's a completely different, more intimate experience. 🌁✨ Also, the staff from the ticketing counter to inside the hill and the train driver are absolutely accommodating.

Penang Hill in George Town, Malaysia is a popular destination with many things to see and do. It's a fun place to visit and the views from the top of the hill are Breathtaking. Also the journey to reach the top of the hill is superb, worth a ride. You get to ride a Funicular railway on the world's steepest tunnel track and Asia's longest track . History says, Penang Hill is the oldest British hill station in Southeast Asia, dated late 1700’s. On top of the hill, you have loads to explore. Still there are British owned bungalows & remaining ones are state owned Bungalows, Cafes, Restaurants ,Museum etc. Penang hill is surely worth spending a whole day exploring the whole of it. Take in 360-degree views of the island and city from the top of the hill. PS: Must visit place when in Penang, but make sure of visiting as early as possible so as to avoid long crowded queues.

Kebaya Dining Room, located within the Seven Terraces property in Penang, offers a stylish and old-world-themed dining experience. The restaurant serves classic Indo and Straits Chinese Nyonya dishes with a twist, incorporating French cooking techniques. Excellent service and ambience. Very posh and elegant decor. Food selection was great. Service staff were very helpful in explaining the menu and make appropriate recommendations. Cocktail is not super wow but decent. Food was good, better than Auntie Gaik Lean in my opinion but it’s also pricer than them. So I guess it’s a give and take. Would absolutely come back here and try other items on the menu when I’m back to Penang again.

Minus one star on food because it was amazing food but just not quite hit the spot as a nyonya cuisine. But other than that, everything we had was so so good. Service was great, atmosphere was great. We ordered the two course set meal, which comes with starters, greens and main course. We passed on a dessert because we thought we should try desserts outside of the restaurant. Favorite was their chicken satay 10/10 super tender, and the awesome fish 10/10 - this one probably tastes the closest to nyonya. The rest like the green beans, aubergine, sweet potato leaf seemed like just typical Malaysian food. Ordered their pandan longan tea, this one was definitely disappointing. Tasted like water with maybe one drop of pandan extract.

We were there early and were seated in the bar for a drink. The colours of the decor is quite striking with red curtains and patterned floor tiles. Quality of the decor is very detailed and I like the wooden doors and window shutters. Staffs are very sincere. Even though we were there very early (I think not all staff started work yet) they came out immediately to serve us. Portion of the food is more than enough. Otah was very good. Can’t imagine Otah looks like a pastry but its taste gives me a surprise. The taste of the duck confit is a bit simple. Other dishes are good. Too bad I’m too full to try the dessert.

It is worth it to come here. Remember to make a reservation in advance because it gets filled up fast. They have two seatings; 6pm and 8pm. Portions are huge, so do come on an empty stomach. It is also nice to explore the hotel area which is of Peranakan heritage. Overall food was super flavorful, with small flaws here and there, but worth the price. Can just do the 2 course per pax, and when you have stomach for desserts, then change it to a 3 course, so no stress over it. Starters Crispy Joo Hoo Char Roll (3.5/5) - Sambal was the saver for this, it was a good crispy "popiah", pretty decent. Kebaya Satay (4.6/5) - Super flavorful chicken satay. Cucumber helps to compliment the flavor bomb. Super enjoyable. Rendang Croque Monsieur (4.8/5) - I think this is one of the star appetizer, my mum who don't like blue cheese, could still eat this. Felt like a layer of beef rendang, mozzarella cheese, and small bits of blue cheese. Bread flatten and crisp to perfection. Super umami bomb. Mains Chef special's duck Itik Sio (4.8/5) - Amazing flavours as a whole, I wish I can keep eating this. Tangy (I assume from the assam) and umami rich fermented bean paste, sweet and soft shallots, duck had a crispy skin, meat was super flavorful roasted but it's a bit rough and dry, if not was done just nice it would have been a perfect 5/5. Confit Beef Buah Keluak Jam (4.9/5) - Beef oysterblade was super soft and tender, melts. The buah keluak chilli jam on top was superb, sweet, slight tangy, and umami filled. It is usually an acquired taste but I think this is a good introduction for people who have never tried it before, because the buah keluak flavor is there, but quite smooth and mild. The celery ribbons actually compliments it as well, I did not even realize it was celery until I ate it on its own. Hong Bak Lamb (4/5) - Flavourful sauce, Lamb Shank was a bit gamey, save the sambal from the other dishes as it covers the gameyness well. Greens Grilled Eggplant (4/5) - the sambal was the star. Amazing, goes well with anything and everything. The eggplant was grilled to perfection but had not much taste to it, so it compliments the sambal. Masak Lemak (4.6/5) - Super lemak, rich coconut milk with salty umami dried shrimp flavour. The sweet potato shoots were silky and nice, the crispy sweet potato chips. I am usually not a fan of sweet potato leaves but this shoots is easier to eat. Sambal Goreng (3.5/5) - The belacan coconut cream sauce was a great sauce as well. However the french bean and other veggies were a bit on the raw side this time, if cooked perfectly I would have given it a 4.

They felt more like safe starters than flavour-packed openers. As for the mains, we tried the duck confit with plum sauce and Nyonya potato shoots, along with the Assam pomfret fish and achar. The duck was well-prepared and the potato shoots gravy paired nicely with white rice. The pomfret fish stood out with its bold yet approachable flavours, not overly spicy and quite enjoyable. But the meal faltered on other fronts. The achar was a disappointment — thick, clunky slices that were tough to chew, lacking the finesse and bite-sized crispness expected from this classic side. Desserts, sadly, were a letdown too. Overly sweet with a soggy biscuit base that lacked the satisfying crunch of a good graham crust. To add to the underwhelming culinary journey, the course-by-course service — while aiming for a fine dining experience — was painfully slow. With a strict two-hour dining window, the pacing felt mismatched and tested our patience. In short, Kebaya Dining Room is a feast for the eyes, but when it comes to the food, it’s more style than substance. Come for the ambiance, lower your expectations for the flavours.

Being half Peranakan and having seen many rave reviews, I was excited to try this place with my parents. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations or reflect the true Peranakan dishes I was brought up with. The menu lacked even the most basic traditional items—no kueh salat, bubur cha cha, or bakwan kepiting. Desserts leaned heavily toward fusion rather than authenticity. You're required to pick a two- or three-course menu, which felt restrictive. The decor tries to create a Peranakan vibe but comes across as overly staged. Flavors leaned more Western—our sambal belacan tasted like ketchup, which is a serious miss, considering it's a cornerstone of Peranakan cuisine. The duck leg was the only dish that was passable, but it resembled a French duck confit more than anything Peranakan—and duck isn’t even a traditional part of our cuisine. Most dishes were served cold, which again doesn’t align with Peranakan culinary culture. The music felt more Chinese or Western than Peranakan, adding to the sense of inauthenticity. Honestly, this place seems more targeted at tourists unfamiliar with real Peranakan food. It would be more accurate to call it a fusion restaurant than a Peranakan dining hall. Overrated and Disappointing Kebaya Dining did not live up to the rave reviews. We waited a long time for the food, and everything—including the rice—was served barely warm. The pai tee was too salty, the chicken satay dry, and the prawn geng and sambal goreng were overwhelmed by coconut with no real Nonya flavor. Only the grilled eggplant was decent. A waitress came by to ask if I wanted more rice. I politely declined and gave feedback that the rice wasn’t even warm and she could clearly see I had barely touched it. She didn’t offer to replace it with warm rice or attempt to rectify the situation—just gave an unhappy expression, muttered a quick apology, and walked away. Sambal belacan wasn’t served unless requested, and when it finally arrived, it was sweet and lacked authenticity. The Nonya-style decor was nice, but the atmosphere was spoiled by Chinese New Year songs playing in the background. Overall, the food and service were underwhelming and overrated.

Well this place was famous. I was told it's the best stir fried restaurant by my friends whom visited. Locals told me not to waste time. I tried anyway and the locals are definitely right. Very average stir fry style restaurant. Good part is everything not too salty. Other than their honey roast pork is more special, nothing is outstanding. I could walk in to any of my neighbourhood store and get similar quality stuff easily. Only plus point is quick and warm service and very nostalgic old building. Other than that a very mid restaurant which is popular.

A delightful dinner at this hugely popular restaurant. Reach here 8 min after the opening time and there’s alrdy a queue forming outside. Queued for 40min to get seated down but food arrived soon after. Didn’t managed to order most of the recommended dishes as they are spicy and not suitable for children. Had an excellent lunch here on a Sunday. Arrived at around 1.45pm so there wasn't really any queue and we were shown to our table in about 5 minutes. Food served rather quickly too. We totally enjoyed each of the dishes that we ordered and now I understand why they were so popular. Had the bitter gourd egg, belachan fried chicken (which wasn't spicy by the way), assam stingray and salt&pepper squid. Priced quite reasonably too. Will definitely return to try other dishes.

I finally get to try this restaurant because it takes bookings now (I hate queueing for food, no matter how good you are) 😜. Despite it's Michelin award and decades of fame, I'd have to give it 4 ⭐ only. As I find it quite expensive as the portions are really small. Food wise, it's good. Everything cooked to perfection except the salt-pepper squid which misses the mark for being too chewy and it's batter doughy. Service is fast and efficient but could improve with more smiles. Mind you, this restaurant is naturally ventilated so expect some warm air.

All the classic Peraknakan dishes offered so your biggest challenge is figuring out which to try. Top marks for the Nonya curry chicken and kapitan curry. Kua pie tee is top notch, crispy pastry with delicious turnip filling. The sago GULA Melaka dessert was to die for! Atmosphere was good, crowded with families, instagrammers and food-curious folks - many crammed on shared tables appreciating a fine meal. A must-eat when stopping in Penang.

The food is good, as a starred restaurant I had high expectations, the food is in itself overall good. The restaurant also offers vegetarian dishes. We took the squid/octopus, which was a big disappointment, as its consistency was very gummy, that was probably due to it being over or undercooked. The spices were fine. I believe the onion was also cut too thick, kind of made everything more unpleasant. Price was 58 Ringgit, definitely not worth the quality/taste. The meat on the other hand was very good. The chicken with lemongrass curry was cooked perfectly, and tasted great. Price was 46, worth it I’d say (quantity was also more than honest, very appreciated). The drinks were also another highlight, barley-punch suited the spicy dishes, but is kind of tasteless, as did the nutmeg-punch (definitely worth trying for 10 Ringgit). Keep in mind you’ll have to pay an overall 16% tax on the amount you spend!

Underwhelming but nothing to complain about. Great thing is that the food doesn't leave you feeling uncomfortable from greasiness. However, nothing leaves a lasting impression either. Everything is good but in a way that will easily fade with memory hahah. Flavours are.... dare i say, one-dimensional. Due to popularity and table sizes, you may have to share a large table with a couple other strangers but no biggie. We also got otak-otak but they forgot our order. No biggie we cancelled and they were very polite about it so plus points for the service staff. Feels almost like the flavours were adjusted to better appeal to unfamiliar tourists and the michelin star was awarded by the same genre of people.

Incredible from start to finish. First, I loved the focus on sustainability, and that nothing goes to waste from the ingredients (surprise at the end that I'm not going to spoil!). Second, a big focus on sense of place, with a huge amount of the ingredients coming from within 20km of the restaurant. My pictures speak for themselves around the quality of plating, attention to detail and mesh of different flavors.

Conceptually this is a Michelin restaurant. Executed like a Michelin restaurant. However, none of the dishes were particularly memorable with the exception of the duck and tomato butter. Some dishes were a bit of a miss for me personally. If you are here on a short trip like I was, would definitely consider exploring other options. The dessert course was a highlight, they let you guess the flavors. That said, the staff was amazing and service was beyond exceptional. One of our servers was super kind and gave us great recommendations for bars and markets around town. He was very personable and we even ran into him the next day at one of his reccos!

We had an awesome experience lunching here on Saturday with a group of gal pals (7 of us) from secondary school days on a girls’ getaway to Penang. The lunch at Restaurant au Jardin was a highlight of the trip thanks to the kind, warm and attentive service from Eugene and Shalini! The food was excellent and we were served in a lovely quiet private room - which really enhanced the experience. The duck was amazing. I had never had duck like that before. We brought 2 bottles of wine. While corkage was applied, it was well worth it due to the quality glassware and attentive service rendered. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. One of our party unfortunately fell ill during the lunch and could not eat. It was convenient that she could rest by lying down on the sofa in the private room. What was more commendable is that the restaurant offered to allow us to cancel her degustation lunch set. Such a gracious and classy act! We were seriously impressed. I highly recommend visiting Restaurant au Jardin. They are great folks, doing a fabulous job.

Finally tried this 1-Michelin restaurant in Penang, overall pretty decent. There are no big ‘misses’ but neither a lot of particularly exceptional dishes save for the signature cognac & hay dry duck which delivered the wow factor for the night - the crispiest duck skin ever with perfectly done meat. Service deserves a shoutout, delivering a very personalized and attentive experience throughout the night. Love the use of local suppliers up to the collab with @buttersagepottery They also pay attention to sustainability and we were pleasantly surprised with the take home sausage bun at the end, made from discarded food (that Shan’t go to waste!)

Only feedback was the special menu grouper fish, the sauce too strong fishy aroma. Aged duck, wagyu steak, wine pairing recommendations were excellent. Bonus desserts guessing and gifts were impressive. Will come back again and pre order their best bread loaf in the world, made with tosai ingredients, thin crust yet crispy. I saw this restaurant on my early morning stroll around the Geoorgetown neighbourhood and decided to come and dine. Happen to dine twice during my trip this time, one was for a late lunch and second was for the dinner on the last night in penang. I love the place, as its situated in a beautiful building and love the warmth of the service. Sure the foods were great. Too bad traveling alone means I can’t order foods I want especially pizza as I won’t be able to finish it. Meaning next time I will come for the pizza :) Until next time!

The lamb shoulder was the highlight, very soft, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with the well-cooked, flavorful quinoa underneath. Also, we found it odd that there were potatoes on top of the pizza; having carbs on carbs just didn’t work for us. Had my belated birthday dinner here. Wanted to try this place for some time already but didn't have the chance. Was putting quite a high hope on their food. There's just 4 of us, but we were excited & ordered plenty of food. Sadly, the food doesn't keep up to our expectations. The taste of every single dish was bland. You can hardly taste the flavours. It's too lightly seasoned. I have to add on seasoning on top of every bite of my food. Prices are also very high. Service was only good upon entering, but after ordering, no more prompt service was given.
