Amazing place! We love it! Entrance to the castle is only 1€!!! Totally worth it to goo all the way up and see the panoramic views. Only one thing what we didn't like that the landscape was destroyed by the industrial buildings

Other than the tower there's not a huge amount to explore but it is all well maintained and the signs (though a little hard to read) give good explanations in English. Our visit was during a storm so we couldn't take advantage of what must usually be a great view from the roof.

Superb views over mountains. Situated in the beautiful village of Boat. Best visited in the morning to catch the early morning light.

A good park for small kids at a reasonable price. The best attractions usually have queues, so you may need to wait. If you have the whole day, it’s not a problem. Otherwise, you can purchase the express option for an extra charge to get priority access.

Great place for kids. Plenty of parking space and reasonably priced entrance. With the entrance fee, you can ride almost anything. Except tiny rides that cost 1€ and such. The next consecutive day is free if you arrive before 2pm, small fee if you arrive after. Most rides are for children, with a few also for adults/both. Friendly and welcoming staff. My kid had two great days here. Several choices in meals as well, and vending machines with drinks here and there. The days we were here, there was almost no queues. We'll be back. 🌴☀️

Unlimited fun between 18:00-00:00 in Santa Pola! ❗Definitely more visitors than capacity is accepted. Very very crowded. ❗Long queues are formed due to the express ticket option (1.5 hour wait for go-kart and speed train) ❓Theoretically food and beverages are not allowed. ❗Some employees seem to be forced to work (Ex: Jumping) ✅ There is no parking problem. ✅ Ideal for children up to 9.

I think the place is more suitable for families with younger children. There are rides for children under 130cm tall. Some rides are a bit old and out of date. The carting was popular and especially in the evening the lines were very long. Visited on 12.8. Park was open from 17.00-00.00. We bought promotion tickets online in advance and we can visit for free the next day if we keep our ticket bands on. Also has a few pools for cooling down(swimming). Lots of different food and snack bars. And I don't think they were too overpriced like it usually is in places like this. We found parking well, because we arrived upon opening. When we left at 21.00 the parking lot was gull of cars with people arriving that late. Busy time starts after 20.00.

Great little theme park suitable for smaller kids. We stayed about 5 hours with out 6 and 9 year old boys. We all had a great time. The food was decent and not too badly priced. Lots of toilets and places to sit. The tickets were great value considering how many rides we went on. The ghost house was terrifying 😆😆😆

Brilliant place to take your kids. It only cost us €9.99 each, and it was well worth it. Very affordable for any family, there were no hidden costs inside and no time limit. My 10yo & 6yo really enjoyed it and would go back.

It is small local park, so do not compare to Disneyland, or even medium park. But - we liked it. There were some queues, but it was not so bad as in waterparks. I strongly recommend buying bracelet as then you can enter anything. Come in evening when is not so hot.

I visited Rio Safari seven years ago, and this year I returned with warm and fond memories of the place. It may be a small zoo, but it has a cozy and inviting atmosphere that makes it truly special. The layout is easy to navigate, allowing for a pleasant day of exploration. I appreciated the focus on conservation and education, which adds depth to the experience. Overall, Rio Safari is a delightful place to visit, perfect for families or anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing day surrounded by nature and animals. I can’t wait to go back again!

Very pleasant surprise. Skip the safari, all animals are accessible without the 15 min safari ride aside to that you choose what animals and how much time you like to spend on it. Beautiful animals that seems well looked after. The enclosures could as always be a bit bigger. Was there with my mom and a telephoto lens.

Visiting Rio Safari was an overall enjoyable experience, offering a mix of charm and adventure. Although the zoo is relatively small and shows some signs of aging, it still manages to create a pleasant and engaging atmosphere for visitors. One of the standout highlights was the ride in the trailer pulled by a Jeep, which provided a unique and memorable way to see some of the animals up close. This was definitely a special touch that set Rio Safari apart from other, more traditional zoos. However, there were also some drawbacks that impacted the overall value for money. Several walking paths were closed during our visit, which limited the experience. Additionally, although the water park section looked very appealing, it was unfortunately closed due to the low season — something that should ideally be better communicated to visitors in advance. All in all, Rio Safari offers a fun and family-friendly outing, but considering the price, the experience could benefit from some updates and improvements to meet modern expectations.

Really nice small zoo for the size has quite a wide selection of animals. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Was sad to hear that the Bengal Tiger had passed would have been really nice to see it. Good value for money cheaper to book online. Have English speak staff. The sea lion show was one of the highlights.

Great zoo . Good entry prices with reductions if you use self service machine. Seniors was 13 euros. Fantastic range of animals. Favourite was lions and snakes. Safari ride was fun for grandson.

I visited the zoo to check how much space the animals had to roam about. The actual zoo has a lot of potential, and it looks as if it is expanding. The staff at the entrance were very polite and pleasant, and throughout the zoo, there were pic nic tables scattered about and stations where you could get drinks, etc. Location was easy to find with ample parking. The zoo as a free short safari ride you can take, which is OK for kids, but you see the same places also by walking. They also have a sea lion show, which I never got to see as I was on a quick visit. Also, there is a water splash park that is being expanded, which offers more for the guests once inside. If you have kids and want a nice fun day out with a splash park, then the facilities will provide you with this. It is very walkable and clean, it is not a massive zoo and I can imagine during summer it could feel quite busy and full. I'm happy I got to visit this place which is near to where I live.

Excellent value for money..really lovely 3 hours spent there with family and 2 year old granddaughter. Saw all the animals, great train tour and lemur feeding experience. You are allowed in with them at feeding time to observe and they come very close to you although you are advised not to touch them. Sea lion show was informative, be nice if it was a liitle more entertaining seemed like a 20 minute talk in 2 languages and done. Not being negative as I thoroughly enjoyed the park just an opinion. There is a water park too included in the price which would keep you there longer but we went low season and it wasn't open yet. An indoor play pit for the younger ones and a reptile house. In addition there are payable go karts. All staff were very friendly. Lots of picnic areas and food was inexpensive to purchase. Definitely recommend and would go back. Great day out.

Importantly double check opening times before you go, I went on a Monday and it was closed. But that actually gave me a really awesome experience as nobody else was there. The castle is absolutely stunning 😍

We had an amazing experience, the staff was very friendly and helpful, we took the tour without a guide, there was a lot of QR codes with plenty of information. I was able to take photos and video and we learned about the castle. We loved it! Tickets need to be bought in the tourism office.

The castle offers a beautiful backdrop for photos and is great for a quick visit, with a nice mix of peace and charm. No crowded place. Convenient parking is available near the ticket office.

If you follow the signs to this place rather than your sat nav it takes you to a small car park next to the Tourist Information where you can buy tickets for the castle. The castle is a few minutes walk and the custodian on the gate is very helpful and knowledgeable with very good English. The castle is superb - a 10th century Arab core that was expanded and updated after the Christian conquest. It has been well restored and there is a very good route that you can follow which covers the curtain walls, inner bailey and keep. There are lots of information boards as you walk through and some great little features like the drawings done by Italian prisoners in the 13th (?) century and marks from the cannonball damage in the eighteenth century siege. The views from the tower roof are both awe inspiring and nauseating if you look over the edge! The medieval core of the city looks interesting too although it is swamped by less than attractive modern development. A great castle to visit and very good value (€3 for an adult) for the couple of hours we spent there.

Great renovated Castle. Friendly staff. Interesting video rooms. Best view of Villena city. Don't forget to buy your ticket at the tourism office in the centre.

Tickets are available in the Villena Tourist Info, so firstly go there to not run twice upon these all stairs. But after all the exposition in the castle is great, and this amazing view from the top of tower - priceless.

This place is really special, unfortunately I only had 20 minutes here but could have spent hours strolling around. They have some amazing different palm trees, plants & all sorts of other species. There's also some cool peacocks around! It was around 6 euros to get in but truly worth it. If you like to take photos of those types of thing, you'd struggle to find somewhere better!

Beautiful garden filled with spectacular light, life, and peace. I like visiting Huerto del Cura to enjoy its green space, to admire the albino peacocks, and, in general, to take nice pictures of all the different plants and cacti there.

A lovely botanical garden. It is not a vast place, but if you have around an hour it is definitely worth visiting. A great variety of plants, ponds and wildlife attracts you to spend some time there.

Great hotel for romantic getaway, next to the Palmgarden, Huerto del Cura, in Elche with big rooms set-up as bungalows and very good buffet breakfast next to the pool.

Very interesting architecture, almost a mini Sagrada Familia. After visiting the church, it's possible to take a hiking tour in the area. Be aware of the elevation gain, though.

A fascinating small church just outside Novelda, close to Alicante. It’s worth a visit of around 90 minutes which includes the Mola Castle alongside the church. No entry fee but you are welcome to make a donation. My review will soon be on my Two Passports Packed travel blog which can be found through a Google search.

Looks amazing from the outside but it was light, bright and fairly modern on the inside. Spectacular views in the surrounding grounds with a cafe to get light refreshments or a restaurant for a meal. It really was the alround experience.

A short one way climb with the asphalt road to the free parking lot next to the church. Very nice place on the hill with a great view of the surrounding area. In the area there is a free and clean rest room with toilet paper and soap at least in gents part😉

This is a lovely beach ⛱️🏖️ with plenty of choice of restaurants and bars. Swimming is not encouraged as there are no emergency services. The sea is very shallow and no tides as it's partly enclosed. Very busy in the summer.

Well worth a visit for a morning or afternoon of fun. Be warned that the mud is very smelly so it may not be for everyone, but it's very warm and feels good on your skin. Use a container to scoop mud from the floor of the baths and apply it to your skin on land, wait about 20 minutes for it to dry then rinse off. Floating in the highly saline water is relaxing as well.

Amazing place and totally free. It takes around 1,5 hrs to do it properly, my skin was fantastic afterwards. Better to go to the back part and ask the locals that are taking mud baths there regularly to explain you how to do it well. You should have a bucket but if you don’t it’s ok, people let you take mud from theirs

What a lovely area for a walk along the very long breakwater pathway. Too cold for me in January to use the mud baths but great in warmer weather. The views from the breakwater are stunning in all directions.

A free and well maintained activity to do with the whole family. Easily accessible via lots of jettys in to the water. Locals leave buckets of mud to cover yourself in or you can bring your own and go out and dig. Once out cover yourself in mud and let the sunshine do the rest. Lots of info signs (especially about washing the mud off in the pool not the sea) and the history. Was a good way to spend a hr or 2 for free

Great experience! Took the kids down on a Thursday morning and it was relatively quiet. You will need to buy or take a bucket with you to collect the mud. We had one of the mud platforms pretty much to ourselves - you go in, collect some mud, come out and then lather yourself in it and then wait for it to bake. Some locals take themselves for a walk whilst this is happening but we just chilled and enjoyed the views. You’re not supposed to go into the water on the other side to wash off, you just stay on the one side and then wash it off in the water there once you’re done. The water is very salty so it’s great to just have a float around after you’ve washed off. There are toilets and beach cafe’s on the strip so we took ourselves off for a bit of breakfast straight after. Kids really enjoyed it and we felt great afterwards.

Absolutely beautiful place to visit, lovely walks and scenery. More so when we are blessed with good weather. Plenty of eateries and places to just sit and watch the world go by. Got some nice shots of the pink flamingos as a bonus. We didn't do the mud baths which was in the same waters as the wild life. Plenty of steps leading into the water which contain the rich soils and to be fair there were a few actually covering arms, legs and bodies.

What can be funnier than watching people covered in mud walk about the prom...being the people covered in mud walking about the prom. We went prepared with buckets to scoop the mud up in & generally hoped for a laugh & the odd health benefit. The day did not disappoint nor did my mother's face on smelling what would be her only pamper session of the week! After drying to the point of cracking we went for a dip to wash it all away, realising at this point a sponge may have been a good idea, it does not come off as easy as we thought. Take old towels & swimwear as while it washes out it's not the easiest thing to remove & has caused staining. Warning unless you fancy a salt water flush of the irrigation type or going partially blind for a few minutes bring drinking water to wash off the face 😂. Personally I was extremely thirsty afterwards as it draws the toxins out & am glad I took extra drinking water. Bonus...ankles aren't swollen & ready for the next adventure day trip 🙂

Great booking service and warm welcome when we arrived. First time for us in a vineyard so we had no expectations. We had the luck to be alone and could ask questions during the tour. Christina was very comfortable in her guiding and could answer any questions we had without problems. Her English was very good and we had no problems understanding. Since this is after harvest we had no option to taste the grapes, but got a tasting of three wines after the tour. I do recommend Christina and her colleagues.

Great wines, friendly service, free tasting. We just missed a tour that offers a walk through the facility, wine tasting with tapas for 6 euro. The attendant still gave us the wine tasting experience for free. Loved the sparkling wine! This was not on tasting - wish I bought more.

We got a private tour which ended with testing of four different wines. All at a price of € 6 per person. Very nice and professional staff.

You have to make a visit here if you're in Murcia. There are different elements to this building, from the Moorish entrance and English library to the elegant ballroom. It takes you back in time.

Must visit in Murcia. The student ticket costs 3 euros. The staff is very nice. It’s not a huge club, but it’s a pleasant place to spend twenty minutes to half an hour.

A fantastic place to explore and ‚must visit‘ in Murcia! You can enter and visit that place with a small entrance fee. After scanning a QR code you can choose your language and listen to dedicated explanations by the different rooms. The Casino is both a historical and architectural marvel with breathtaking facilities and awesome views. Especially the walls and ceilings are from extraordinary beauty. Go there and enjoy a great place!

Beautiful building and definitely worth a visit. You get a booklet explaining each room and you pay only 3 euros when you are visiting with 3 people or more. It is closed during the siesta so check opening hours if you want to visit.

Great place to visit. Tram can be a bit confusing, but I worked it out in the end. Castle was a lovely visit. Free of charge coffee and cake in Little Cafe. Mushroom Street is an interesting visit.

Fabulous cathedral in the centre of Murcia so easy to locate as it’s right in the centre of the city. The Cathedral Church of Saint Mary in Murcia, commonly called the Cathedral of Murcia, is a Catholic church in the city of Murcia, Spain. Built in the 1400s, Architectural styles: Gothic architecture, Baroque architecture, Renaissance architecture. The interior of the cathedral is largely Gothic in style; the facade is Baroque and it was designed by the Valencian architect and sculptor Jaume Bort i Meliá. One of the best parts that I found was the original paintings on the outside of the building they are very faded, but you can still see them. A little an interesting fact about the cathedral is The second tallest tower in Spain after the Giralda in Seville.

Place that you must see! Astonishing building, Great history place! There is a possibility to enter the tower but you need to book tours.

A great Cathedral to visit, not too busy on the Sunday I visited

Great place to visit in Murcia. Get the audio guide. We got the guide for the cathedral and the museum but really the cathedral is all you need. If you want a bit of culture in Murcia then visit here.

The Cathedral has two entrances one from the side and the main entrance with the Barroque style front (finished in 1751). The cobstruction ended that year but started in 1394 in the same place where a Mosque. There is an option to climb the tower (which happens to be the second tallest after the one in the Cathedral of Seville).

Muy impresionante, especially the facade, we happened to be here for the spring festival and the death of Pope Francisco, so we witnessed celebration and mourning with the cathedral as a constant backdrop.

5 stars – Fascinating and beautifully presented! The Museum of Underwater Archaeology in Cartagena is an absolute gem. The exhibits are not only rich in history, but also beautifully curated and easy to explore. We were especially impressed by the stories of ancient shipwrecks and the recovered artifacts – it’s like taking a journey through time beneath the sea. The museum is modern, well-organized, and great for both adults and kids. It’s a perfect stop if you’re interested in history, the sea, or just want to learn something new in a stunning location by the port. Highly recommended!

Quite interesting interactive exposition right in the puerto! With parking and other attractions definitely a must see! Sundays are free.

While it's not a large museum, it offers enough cool exhibits to keep you engaged during your visit.

What a surprise this place is. 3 weeks here in the town and never thought of visiting till my wife suggested it, and I am glad that we did. For a very low entrance fee, free for oldies, there is easily a couple of hours of entertainment here. The whole place is very well laid out with fascinating artefacts and explanations in both Spanish and English. The staff are friendly and helpful, thank you.

This is a fantastic location, likely the best maritime museum in Spain.

Entry was free on Sunday and it was very interesting. Relatively small museum but full of interesting exhibits and a good way to spend 45 mins. Gift shop is small with limited stock.

This marine archaeology museum in Cartagena is superb. Amazing artefacts from Phœnician , Roman, Byzantine, Moorish and Spanish wrecks, all incredibly well preserved and conserved. A set of Roman slingshot bullets looked like they were freshly cast, as were ingots of lead, tin and bronze. A big set of very large Roman anchor stocks were a great surprise as they were all well preserved lead castings too. A modern, stylish and very well presented museum. Level access throughout.

This is a self guided walking tour with audio option for a fee (€2.50). An amazing tour of a theatre over 2000 years old with a unique blend of modern structure with old. Easy to get around and if you go between 4:00 - 6:00pm, it is free entry. Even if you are not a history buff, this is a must for you and your family. However note, I attended in the offseason, so if you go in the summer months, purchase tickets in advance.

An amazing piece of history! A beautiful 2000 year old Roman theater in the heart of downtown Cartagena! Only €7 and you get to see cool Roman sculptures in the museum and you get to walk around the theater. A lot has been done to preserve it and you can only walk in certain places. But it really is cool. Be careful parking as I was very distracted and excited to see the place and didn't realize I parked in a metered parking area and received a ticket. Blue lines means you need to pay the meter. And it seems very difficult to pay as well, sooooo, that is the only downside.

Very nicely preserved building, you can see everything well from the outside for free together with the panorama of the city. I highly recommend it. The entrance to the building is through the museum from the side of the town hall. On Tuesday the last 2 hours were free and we took advantage. We recommend it

4 stars – Impressive site with no waiting time The Roman Theatre in Cartagena is definitely worth a visit. It’s fascinating to see such a well-preserved ancient structure right in the heart of the city. Walking through the ruins gives you a real sense of history and the scale of Roman architecture. We were pleasantly surprised that there was no waiting time at all, which made the visit even more enjoyable. One star less just because the information could be a bit more interactive or engaging – but overall, a great experience!

The Roman Theatre is a remarkable structure, even more so when one considers that it's survived for 2,000-odd years even with later developments built over it. It's now been fully restored to full glory, and is well worth a visit.

The history of this place and how it was discovered is so curious. I recommend to have some local guide to explain you all the things. Also the photos outside when it was discovered are mind blowing. It's worth to visit for sure! The entrance is from the square where is the city hall - being there you will notice.

At the SPA only, the steam room flooded, and hot water came under the door. It went all over that area and into one of the saunas. They tried to rectify it but still flooded , The inlet sinks need renewing or proper repairs. If this is not done correctly, the hot water goes straight down the drain, and the steam room can't heat up , stay Lukewarm?

The staff was very unfriendly. The young blonde lady at the reception didn't bother to be courteous or friendly, wouldn't tell us about the possibility of renting bathrobes, didn't care if we had any children and elderly people with us ( and we did) , she wouldn't show us around, didn't explain the options, super cold and unwelcoming. She literally did nothing except throw the locker keys at us and demand the extra 5 euros and the bathing caps, for €6, which we already brought with us . The thermal spas outside were clean and we'll maintained. The location is awesome I just wish the staff were friendlier, would have been a much nicer experience.

Unfortunately these hotel does not care about customer journey and they only are focus’s on profitability. We requested to postpone our reservation to other weekend because it was extreme weather conditions particularly rain .. Castellon goverment announced do not travel by car…they were not flexible and they charge our booking knowing that it was dangerous to travel there from Madrid

I've spent a day in with my partner here but I won't repeat it again.We had a couple massage & other facilities booked in. Spa it's ok &the swimming pools also .The main problem in this place is the staff. Reception : not friendly ,not helpful & not informative.The lady who attended us simply thrown 2 swimming hats on her desk in front of us asking 6€ but she doesn't bother to discuss options with us (for example I've found out letter from the Spa that we could rent it out bathrobes) Spa reception : only one lady was nice ,informative & she offered us bathrobes.thank you for that Restaurant: the staff is not well trained to work with people ,not friendly & not knowledgeable.I ve asked for drinks menu and the answers was ,,I don't have it ,tell me what do you want and I will see if I have ". I would like to have a glass of wine ,I said but I really don't know what to order without any info. Guess what: she came right away with a list of drinks ....so ,she had it. I won't recommend this place

A little disappointed with the facility. The water temperature was the same in each pool and did not have any pools any that were at least 30 Celsius. This place is more of a children’s pool. They did have another spa, but was a higher cost. Not sure what that temperature was.

After reading the not so positive reviews on Google maps we decided to go here anyway. This is my experience: The locker needs to be locked with an padlock (bring it or buy it there) i didnt really find it a problem as long as you know up front and buy the right size ours was to small. I found the signs where to go, pretty lacking in the part were the lockers were. It was not clean at all and also not that big, ok the main pool was closed luckaly they said up front but still. 2 things that are absolutely horriving: the saunas ( the wood where you sit ) and the steam room smelled so bad i could not stay in it (sulfur and old stuff it smelled like) yes a little is the water but this smell is absolutely not acceptable. It is an little outdated , but they where fixing the large pool, the saunacomplex and baths were not the worst experience, but i wish it was more clean it was discusting. Service was ok , didnt have trouble with the ladys behind the counter. The view of the mountains is stunning also where the saunas are. I love that you can press the jets when you need them , saves some electricity. The showers were all cold , couldnt stand under them , also the shampoo in all the cabins was empty Making an reservation through the website per mobile phone was not possible except with whatsapp the lady was verry nice and helpful. The website only gives me the choice to book an flight with hotel I wish the website was more clear about how long you can stay in each part and when you can arrive and if reservation is mandatory. Was verry quiet not many people that was nice. It cost us 79 euro and it was not worth it at all sorry, o and also 8 euros for parking above that price Was nice to have went , but i wouldnt go again such an shame this has so much potential

A beautiful and interesting place. Apart from the huge sandstone formations, driving just a few kilometers further on, there is a mini-nudist beach, as well as a giant swing overlooking the sea.

Interesting rock formations next to a nice beach area and large car park. If staying in the area and looking for a relaxing afternoon, it's worth a trip here. There are a couple of restaurants too.

Beautiful and impressive sandsculptures. There is a QR code to take you to the detailed information about the sculptures in English, however its disappointing that you first have to sign up to the town's newsletter so we didn't bother. Also the enormous and EMPTY (in January) car park only allows a 4 hr stay so you can't park there overnight if visiting restaurants.

Free parking the water is so much more clearer than mazarrón beach and you have oasis bar which has great food and service

Beautiful place for a day out, but be prepared for the walking up hills. As you probably can see, it's perched on a mountain and the car park is 3 quarters up. You pay to go in yhe various towers, but the grounds are free to roam around. Great few hours with family and the club sandwich is highly recommended as well 👌

Choice of ticket, either see one tower€4 or two towers for €8 or €10 to add in Jewish settlement,but this is only open at 3pm as situated in Parador Hotel. Each tower is unlocked at a certain time for a 45 minute viewing,which is plenty. QR code to get recorded history at each place around the castle ,some 25 different recordings. A couple of hours to see ,free parking at the bottom of the castle. Unfortunately if you're disabled,then this place will not suit you.

What a fantastic experience at Lorca Castle! We were so excited to find out that it’s pet-friendly, with huge signs welcoming dogs. Our dogs were treated like royalty—they even got a free packet of biscuits each! It was amazing to be able to take them everywhere in the castle, making the visit so much more enjoyable. The castle itself is absolutely beautiful, with plenty to see and explore. We had a wonderful time and really appreciated how welcoming they were to our furry friends. Highly recommend for anyone visiting with pets—truly a memorable experience!

Fine castle, less well managed than others in Spain, areas closed and only opened when guide available. The synagogue discovery was very interesting though.

Lovely place to visit and amazing views from there. We drove up to the castle up some steep roads. Parking just outside the castle is free. There are 3 routes you can walk around the outside. We did the middle one which was an easy 2 kilometers around tge outside of the castle and walked looking at the amazing views below. We then walked up to the castle itself and were pleasantly surprised to find that its free to walk around the grounds of the castle. There was an old war catapult and a Canon and plenty of signs about the history of the place. It also had a cafe and toilets in the grounds. It was a great day out.

Great small fortress. It is not a proper castle, as it is quite small. It is a small fortress located in an amazing place with incredible views of the city of Aguilas. It is a bit demanding to walk up the hill to the entrance (lift is out of service since 07 August 2024), so avoid the midday hours as the combination of sun, heat and climbing up can get you very sweaty. Ot is worthy the walk though. There is a restaurant close to the entrance, also with great views of the city

Interesting place with a stunning view. The signs with information are in Spanish, but there are translation apps you can use for that, where you just hold the mobile camera over the text and it automatically translates it to your language. Anyways, the accessibility is above expectation, considering the fact that it is indeed an old castle situated high above the city. There is a rather spacious elevator which takes you up to the castle, but some places can only be reached by using narrow stairs. The man that was in the ticket shop on the day of our visit was super friendly and very helpful. Ticket price is 2 euros/adult, and kids are free. You can only pay in cash.

Nice maritime fortification with small displays here and there throughout. Lovely views over the town.Interesting story boards telling the history of the Castle but unfortunately as a non Spanish speaker I couldn't interpret them. The Castle is well worth taking the time to visit. If you have very limited mobility you need to get someone to drop you off by car beside the lift which will take you up to the Castle itself. I'm not sure what people such as a previous reviewer expect of a defensive Castle perched on a hilltop or cliff. It goes without saying that accessing such a structure will require prior planning if you have limited mobility. Here they have even provided a lift which is unusual and also helpful. I guess there's no pleasing some people. Nice views, interesting historical displays and plenty of information/storyboards. Were I Spanish I'd probably still be there reading them. Very nice indeed.

Great day out with the Camposol Explorers, made to feel welcome, friendly staff, plenty to see and amazing views, well worth a visit when visiting Aguilas.

It’s a lovely relaxing place to visit with plenty of information about the castle and the history of the area, and wonderful views. We arrived about 8pm after a bracing walk up from the town. The light was lovely at this time. The entrance was free which is a rare pleasure!

Great track and location, but the sessions are very short at only 8 minutes. We loved it, but when you work it out, €20 for one session (this is the fastest karts) equates to €150 per hour!

Fun for everyone! We were a group of 10 drivers aged 14 to 81, and their supporters. The practice session was followed by the actual race (about 18 minutes) long. We watched from an upstairs viewing platform, cheering on the winners. Plenty of seating, refreshments, toilets and games to keep people amused. Thoroughly recommended.

Great fun, 200cc was fine for 12 year old and adults first time carting.

A wonderful local bar, right on the beach. We came to sit and watch the full moon rising out of the sea. The locals are very friendly, chatty and inclusive. If this was in my home town it would be my local.

We stopped for one drink from the bar. The beer is pretty expensive, the bartender was relaxed and did not wear the mask. There are several tables (barrels) straight on the beach and the views are great.

Most unfriendly new years bar and hosts I have ever seen, not often you see people having the bar door slammed in their face at 11pm new years eve, we were 2 older couples already having a quiet drink from their bar outside. Probably they make alot of money and don't care, as the 4 drinks were 25% more expensive than the nicer bar we found. Dont Bother, they don't.

Location good. That s all. No service, but it is not the problem, point is it charges you a beer like a bar, but with nothing, even a smile.

We had a wonderful experience with them! We went there early in the day to get some snorkeling gear to pass the time until our kayak tour started which was very cheap to rent. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The tour itself was also very cool with some explanation to the wild life and plants in the bay.

Me and my sister went on the three hour tour and had a great time. Our tour guide Gerard spoke very good english and told us a lot of interesting things about the region, its geology and wildlife. The other staff were also very nice and helpful, so we could quickly get our gear and go out on the water. Both kayaking and snorkelling were a lot of fun, would recommend this to anybody visiting San Jose!

A highly recommended experience if you are in the area. We did the introductory route with Pablo on 01.04.2023. They offered us lockers to to leave your stuff, dry bags and neoprene suits. Before getting into the water, Pablo taught us the basics on the beach, which I found pretty useful. He is also super kind and was very attentive during the whole route. I also liked his explanations about the history and geology of the area. I will definitely come back for the intermediate route!

we did the 3 hour tour with Enol! it was amazing and he was a great tour guide! he spoke perfect English and had to speak in both English and Spanish for our tour but he made sure we didn't miss out! It was very interesting and he told us lots about the surroundings. He showed us and told us about the marine life and even the orange coral which was very special to see. I would 100% recommend and we will most definitely be back for more kayak adventures!

Great tour! The three hour trip is full of adventures and never fails to impress with stunning and unusual views of the coastline. Stay close to the guides for some fun facts about the eco system. The guides are good with names, fun and make you feel safe at all times. Since they're taking lots of pictures, you can just paddle and pose ;) - plus: no wet mobile phones. 100% recommended!

The Kajak Tour was really nice! Pablo explained a lot about the geological formations and the nature around which was really interesting. Best guide we've ever had! Would definitely recommend it to anyone! He also took nice pictures and sent them afterwards.

If you like Leone's great Western movies, you should visit this place. A lot has changed since Leone filmed his masterpiece Once Upon A Time In The West there. It looks different because they added a lot of buildings in the following years but the iconic red farmhouse is very recognizeable. You can also recognize the surrounding mountains in the movies, that were filmed there.

Quirky and tired - the place has seen better times, but that can be viewed as an attraction in itself. The little show in the saloon was amusing, although I did not understand a single word said (everything was in Spanish). No souvenir shop or food in sight, but our visit was during a weekday in late September, so things might be more alive during summer. Consider the hiking route between this place and the neighbouring “mini hollywood”.

Nice western 'village' and the two main protagonists make the whole place incredible and funny place. Definitely worth to wait for the show in the Saloon. Even though I did not understand a word (it's in Spanish du-h), I still enjoyed the whole show as the atmosphere was awesome. Might not be as crowded as the other western places around, but on the other hand that might add some magic to this place which would be lost with big crowds.

Good place but not the best. I had a good experience, the staff is friendly and lovely, however, the place is not well looked after, only 1 show at the saloon which it was the best during the visit, very good performance. But I think they should have some decorations and accessories for the customers to use while taking pictures.

This is the place for movie fans, cinephiles, and those who grew up with the classical Westerns. If you’re looking for a theme-park-like experience where your dopamine gets a kick every minute, this is not the place for you. The buildings are real movie sets; you can tell because many are just facades and empty inside - or have a completely different front on the other side. My partner is a filmmaker, Westerns started his love for movies, so we had a great time here. We don’t like crowds at all, and this place was quiet - maybe 10 other people when we visited (February Sunday). The saloon show was, for me, 10x better than the Oasys one. The actors were charismatic, funny, and got the audience involved in the scene. It was in Spanish but straightforward enough that I could translate it for my partner and he was laughing along :) The place does look like it’s not being well-maintained, but in my opinion that just adds to its authentic feel. The one huge minus, for me, was the lack of animal welfare concerns. The 5 horses had their heads tied up next to a trough, facing a concrete wall, with very little room for movement. There was also a donkey tied up next to a tree. Hopefully they give them more shade and movement during the Spanish summer.

If you love Wild West sets, not many people about, you’re love it. Small site, plenty of parking, toilets, not much to see. Needs some investment, then be a great place

2024 UPDATE The prices have gone up, there's one new ride although it wasn't open when we went at the beginning of July. I highly recommend buying tickets online as you save a small amount but the main advantage is that there is a separate queue which saves time. If you choose not to hire a float, the waiting time isn't too bad. More staff speak English. The place has been freshly painted, it looks clean and well presented. The onsite parking is FREE. It's not cheap, you do pay extra for a few things however the place is brilliant and there's plenty of fun to be had

We arrived happy , there was no queue, the person at the door was friendly and welcoming. The slides were ok, the locker price was reasonable.The food was good and there was a good amount , the price was also. The jacuzzi was not as clean as we would have liked, The bed price was ridiculous and we felt that because we had paid for entrance and we was not at a beach club , we should not have to pay. the waves was more off than on but we loved the dancers.

I visited the water park with my family, the park is small for the entrance price.Once in the park you have to rent an inflatable to be able to go on the slides at a price of 16 euros, which you get 5 euros back once you return the inflatable. There is an addition price to hire a Sunbed which is 5 euros each. On our visit the wave machine in one of the pools did not work, we waited patiently for what seemed like an hour and no waves. Over all a bit disappointed.

A great day out. The kids loved it, and so we (adults) did too. There are lots of things to do. Great for kids of all ages. The food wasn't that great at the restaurant. If you can, pack your lunch.

For example you cant go to the pool with sunglasses... Totaly not worth for money, you will spend here :)

Victor took us on an amazing 2-hour hack, introducing us to the horses first (my boyfriend had only ridden twice before, 30 years ago!) and making us feel really comfortable and welcome. No rushing. Horses were great, very reliable and in good condition. Hack was absolutely stunning and Victor is as much of an entertainer as he is a great and knowledgeable horseman! With both interesting and funny stories to share, his charm definitely added to the experience. After the hack we were invited to a beer and some snacks and we chatted for quite a bit overlooking the mountains, it was the perfect ending to a fabulous ride. The time and attention that was put into us and the ride is incredible for that price as well. Worth a mention! Very much recommended!! And we will 100% be joining for more rides in the future!

We had such a great time with Victor and the horses. The joining instructions were very clear and we found the farm without a problem. We were briefed and equipped with helmets and we met the horses. Victor spoke great English. We rode above 2000 meters and had a beautiful lunch of local produce and a beer. Victor was excellent and very generous with his time and jokes. We enjoyed our time at Cortijo de las Encinllas very much. Memories well worth the time spent. Very much recommended.

I wish I could give this more than five stars. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I had the absolute privilege of riding with Victor in this beautiful part of the world. Victor's horses were kind-natured, beautiful, funny and strong. They took us high up into the Sierra Nevada to see some of the most stunning mountains we have ever seen. Victor was unbelievably kind, organized and friendly - we truly felt like guests. Victor organized the transportation for us from Granada to his farm. He matched us up with the perfect horses for our skill level, and always made us feel both excited and safe. I highly recommend booking a ride with Victor, and am already planning my next one. 10/10. The photos do not do it justice!

One of the best experiences I have ever had. Victor is an absolute star and matched me perfectly to my lovely horse. Amazing lunch of local food, wine and fun. I had never been on a horse before and I loved it.

Great variety of delicious chocolates and ice cream. They also have milk shakes, hot chocolate, and orange juice. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. They gave out a small bag of chocolate samples to visitors. As you enter the store, you will see info displayed on the walls about chocolate making. There’s a ramp going downstairs, which is wheelchair/stroller accessible.

Lovely little mini museum and shop! The free samples were amazing and we brought an amazing tub of ice cream! Double chocolate and mint chocolate chip!

This chocolate shops sells so many different types of dark, milk, and white chocolate that you wouldn't find anywhere else, at a very good price at about €1.50 for a small bar. The chocolate is fantastic quality and I loved the variety such as blueberry and banana. There is an English menu on the reverse of the Spanish menu which is very helpful when ordering. The staff were very accommodating around the language barrier but were friendly and welcoming. You also get a small packet of testers which I liked, although this does contain a piece with nuts. They also sell milkshakes and ice cream in a wide variety of flavours. The kitchen is behind the counter, where they make the chocolate, and there is information about the chocolate in the entry hallway, although this is in Spanish. I would not describe the shop to be wheelchair friendly as it is underground and the slope to it is quite steep.
