We debated whether is not to visit while in the area since the cost was $22 per person and seems a little pricey, but it was worth every penny. We enjoyed the nature center, which was well laid out and educational along with the animal enclosures. There are 5 - beat, cougar, elk, otter, and bald eagle. With the exception of seeing the bears - we saw every other animal. It was a great experience! The swinging bridge was pretty phenomenal as well. It’s probably not for the faint of heart, but we loved it! The views are nearly 360 degrees over the mountains. Breathtaking views were the norm. We absolutely loved our day there and highly recommend it. You’ll get a perspective on the Blue Ridge Mountains you might not get elsewhere.

Beautiful sights, regardless of which trail you take, some are advanced while others are somewhat relaxed and not as strenuous or demanding. They have a cute gift shop to get souvenirs, they also have a bridge where you can get some incredible views as well.

Visiting Grandfather Mountain was an unforgettable experience. The fresh mountain air, stunning views, and peaceful trails made me feel completely recharged. Walking across the Mile High Swinging Bridge was both exciting and breathtaking. I especially loved seeing the wildflowers blooming and watching the animals in their natural habitats. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down, breathe deeply, and appreciate the beauty of nature.

Pretty views from the bridge, but I didn't realize it would cost $60 for two people until I was at the ticket window. Totally outrageous and I would have skipped it if I knew ahead of time.

Grandfather Mountain is an absolute must-visit! The views from the Mile High Swinging Bridge are breathtaking, offering stunning panoramic scenery. Chimney Rock was absolutely worth going to. It's so beautiful & the hike was worth it. They do have an elevator to take you almost to the flag. However, if you want to go to Devils Head or further to the top of the 404 foot waterfall, it's a hike. The cost is worth it after you look at what they do to maintain this entire park!

Had a fantastic time at Chimney Rock State Park with friends! Initially, we were a bit confused about car parking, but once we went inside the gate and followed the instructions, getting the ticket was straightforward. The park offers both an elevator and steps to reach the top, where you can enjoy breathtaking sceneries. There are also other trails leading to different spots, and we enjoyed all of them. It’s perfect for a full day visit. Visiting during the monsoon season can provide even more stunning views. Highly recommended!

Awesome hike. LOTS of stairs, 494 to be exact. View at the top is well worth it. View at the bottom of hickory nut falls is amazing as well. I highly recommend getting there early. Got there when the park opened and by the time we left about 2 hours later, the lot was almost completely full.

Gorgeous. Was looking for a great Mountain Views for my parents who were visiting with minimal hiking / stairs as they have limited mobility. This was perfect. We took the elevator up, and then a short trip up some stairs, they were able to do it no problem. Definitely recommend to anyone I know, the views are stunning. I want to go back soon.

A MUST go if in the area!! Get there at opening to beat the crowds. We got there at 9am on a Thursday and were the 3rd ones up. It was so peaceful to have the area to ourselves. By 930 the crowds came. The elevator through the cave was nice. The bathrooms are all painted like the rock and looked nice. Everytime was helpful & friendly. The hike to the falls is a must & so beautiful!!

This was a beautiful place with easy to follow directions and maps. Workers were all very friendly and knowledgeable. There are AMAZING views, and the gifts shops and cafe is great. There is elevator access to those who may struggle with stairs. A lot of railings to make the walks feel safe. The waterfall was very pretty and easy to get to. Seems to be a good place for families as well, I don’t have kids myself but heard of a lot of activities and programs for smaller ones. I would definitely recommend.

The views were beautiful!! There is an elevator to the top but still a good bit of stairs. If you have plenty of energy and no disability you can take the stairs all the way to the top. There are gift shops and restrooms at the top and bottom, ample places to buy bottled water and sodas and there are water fountains to fill your own bottle. There is a small cafe at the top but it is pretty pricey for the type of food offered. There is also ice cream!

What a beautiful oasis in the middle of a southern metropolis. Lots of walking/biking paths plus a stunning bridge to walk out over the rushing water. I really like how there was so much thought put into the vegetation and walkways and of course, monuments.

The park is very pretty, flowers are blooming and there is a lot to see. There were a few amazing music artists playing at each entrance. The park does have stairs, but I believe there is also an elevator to use. We enjoyed a few of the benches and took in the view. Parking in the area was a little difficult, but we found two hour parking further down one of the roads and that was ample time to enjoy the park. There is also a sky walk that goes above the park.

I had the best day of my life here. It was beautiful and I saw a lot of cute dogs. They had a beautiful waterfall. I actually got close enough to a goose that i could have petted it. There was an awesome view of the grass, and that is how I spotted a great Dane dalmatian mix. When I saw him, I ran down the stone steps and asked to pet him. His name was Kevin. He was a sweet but big dog. I wish I had the opportunity to bring my dog, Molly. She would have loved it. if you bring your dog, make sure to bring water. It is within very short walking distance of an ice cream shop. My dad had to pay $15 dollars to park though. Overall, it was the best experience in my life. I don't think near as many kids would choose an awesome park over some 3 minute roller coaster, though. (I know I would.) I really recommend it.

Beautiful public, urban walking trail in Greenville SC. Plenty of art and vistas to behold. Many food options. The lobby of the Bohemian Lodge is a real treat.

This park blew my mind. We just made a quick pit stop here before my son’s soccer game cause why not. First of all, I didn’t except Greenville, South Carolina’s downtown to be so good. The one in North Carolina is very disappointing🤣 Anyways, the park is beautiful. There’s lots of grass and greenery and an extremely pleasant river that flows through the center of the park. The river glides into a massive waterfall which really is a sight to see. There are lots of blooming, colorful flowers on the side too. The bridge is conveniently placed on top of the waterfall. You can even touch the water under the waterfall! There’s also lots of grass and benches where you can relax and listen to the music! When we were there, there was a saxophonist playing jazz and a guitarist singing country songs. We made sure to tip both of them! There’s lots of restaurants nearby including one that has a patio that is placed directly over the river. This is a wonderful addition to the downtown of Greenville, South Carolina!

I really loved Greenville and this certainly was the highlight being right in the middle of town. very pretty town with lots of restaurants. We stopped here on the way to Charlotte from Atlanta and it definitely was worth it. If you have the chance you definitely should stop by as well. We got lucky as the day was warm and sunny.

This is a very unique attraction in the middle of town. There are some hills and quite a bit of walking involved, so be prepared. Parking is typically paid, but there is a $5 all day lot available very near by.

From beginning to end our experience with the Navitat team was SPECTACULAR! Lyla got us checked in and informed so fast and was so helpful with all of our questions. Cooper made getting us up the mountain look so easy & we got there quickly and safely. Then, the energy from Parker and Greg 1st thing in the morning really set the tone for an AMAZING time. They were encouraging, informative, personable & made sure we were both safe and having fun! I would definitely 10/10 recommend Navitat to ANYONE who loves nature and is looking for an adrenaline rush!

Best time! We did the Mountaintop Tour with Xena and Gabby. We had a group of 10 between the ages of 8 and 45. Everyone had the best time. Xena and Gabby were professional, safe, and kept everyone engaged. Highly recommend!

We did the tree top mountain ziplining 2 days ago and I would highly recommend it!! The scenery is beautiful! So high up in the trees, it’s just stunning. The whole experience was wonderful, from booking, to communication prior to the scheduled time, to the instructions before actually zipping. I’ve zipped before, and this experience was so much better! I felt much more secure while zipping and I literally didn’t have to do anything, they do it all. All I had to do was step off the stool and lean back. They also have very large platforms to wait while other people zip. But most importantly, Riah and Cooper made the experience! They both were very seasoned, and knowledgeable; we felt comfortable and safe with them. They taught us about some of the trees and plant life on the short hikes between zips too(i think they were really rest breaks for us 😂). They made it fun though too, that was the best part! We will definitely be back to do it again!

We had an absolute blast at Navitat. We had a five year old with us, so we did the Treetop Express tour due to weight requirements, and it did not disappoint...kids and adults alike were thrilled. The staff were SO kind and professional, the facility was amazing and we felt like we were in great hands. Our guides, Alex and Parker, were so much fun. We had multiple groups of people in our 8-person tour but we gelled beautifully and had lots of laughs. Highly recommend the whole experience...we will be back!

Impressive event and grounds. Second time there for Christmas tour. Really came to see the Chihuly experience. Staff is extremely helpful and professional. There is strict adherence to your times on passes for the estate. $400 per couple to take in both events is a little pricey. Especially, when it is over in about little over two hours.

The place is magical! From the staff to the fine details of their decorations. They are very intentional with how everything is run here, and I will definitely be coming back each season to experience the entirety of the property.

Loved staying at the Biltmore Inn. We had one of the newly renovated rooms with a fantastic view. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had the package which included the buffet breakfast and private morning tour of the house before they opened. The private tour is a must. We had a group of 5 plus the guide. It was quiet and you could really ask questions and go at a pleasurably pace. We also had a pass for the length of stay and we went back to the house after lunch and it seemed like there were several thousand people in the house. It was noisy and hard to maneuver through the rooms. The grounds of the estate were the most impressive to us. I highly recommend staying at the Inn where It’s easy to experience the entire estate.

It was our first time visiting the hotel at Antler Village and the Biltmore. We really enjoyed our stay. Everything is beautiful. The food was delicious. The wine is incredible. A must do!!!

My husband and I decided on a whim, to pack a bag and head to The Biltmore House. Neither of us had been, and we were bored. We stayed at The Biltmore Inn. From the moment we arrived... to the moment we left, everything was amazing. We will absolutely be back when we can stay longer than a night. I absolutely love the view from the deluxe terrace rooms. So beautiful and dreamy. And dinner at the on-site restaurant downstairs was superb.

Highlight of our trip! We had 9 paddlers. Peter and the team at French Broad were amazing. They were safe/professional and funny/entertaining. We did the half day and will definitely do the full day when we go again. The river water was clean, although there is still a lot of debris above the river banks.

Marty was by far the BEST guide for our white water rafting trip. We highly recommended requesting her if you book a trip. Her commands are simple and effective. And compared to what we heard coming from the other rafts, she was by far the most experienced. All of us made it in one piece and we had a great time! Thanks again!

We had a blast white water rafting with Kerrie. We loved her adventurous attitude. She really made sure we hit the rapids just right for the most bang and biggest splashes. Half of our group had never been rafting before and everyone felt safe. When we weren't paddling, we were joking, sharing stories, and laughing almost non-stop. We booked a half day tour and wished we had booked the full day. We also did the waterfall rappel with Mars and Colin. They were terrific guides and we loved the experience. The hike in and out is nice and the waterfall is beautiful. They drove us to the location and we all joked and shared stories throughout the day. We were a group of 8, ages 20 - 70. If we are back in this area, we will definitely adventure with FBA again.

We did the mountain biking tour this morning and loved it! Tyler was an awesome guide and not only shared some fun stories with us, but made sure we were comfortable and safe. He was patient as I figured out how to make right turns (Indy blood just wasn’t letting it happen) and picked up on when we were really ready to fly! Thanks for a great trip, Tyler!

Had an awesome time white watering rafting for the first time. The guides are great and they make the whole experience (even the bus ride) enjoyable from beginning to end. The views from the water are simply breathtaking. Pricey but worth every penny.

Friendly and very informative about the town and it's history surrounding French Broad. Very good guides who teach you the right ways to paddle and work as a team making the actual work very minimal. Took the short trip down a level 2-3 rapids and made a very amazing and memorable vacation for me and my family. Highly recommend

So we were the first trip to go down the river this year since the hurricane and it was just an amazing/emotional trip. We had an awesome river guide, Ellie, who was very informative and also volunteered with the fire department and rescue during the hurricane, so to hear her story of this tragedy and to go down the river with her and have her tell us her story was truly heart warming! This was such a fun trip and the river was exciting with so many rapids! Definitely worth it!!!

Great visit today. I came around the same time last year, and unfortunately, it was closed. I really didn't know much about this place at that time. Watching YouTube, I discovered some videos and loved the delivery of each video and realized this was the place I almost got to see in person. Fast forward to this year and was able to visit the museum with my daughter today. I was more than impressed in person with what I saw from videos. Even saw Matt engaging with people just as advertised on his videos. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to speak to him since he was already speaking to others. Either way, I registered for the 2025 giveaway and truly believe in buying merch from this place. We need places like this to continue to grow and be protected. The amount of history in this place is priceless. Great owners and I wish the best for Matt and his family and the Legacy Dale built with this Maggie Valley iconic gem!

This is one of if not THE coolest museum I have ever visited. Lots of historic motorcycles and the staff and displays to bring the history to life for you. Always something new to see and experience with every visit!

This is a one-in-a-kind museum. It literally is the museum that runs! I am not sure if this was an every day thing but there were two guys walking around giving detailed history of any motorcycle on the floor. At the end of their presentation they would start the motorcycle. Incredible place!

The most beautiful museum of antique motorcycles (nearly 400 motorcycles), surrounded by thousands of genuines parts from differents eras. Grouped on two floors in different themes to learn history. More then expected ! Nice set-up of garage decors, you must visit them !

I have visited many motorcycle museums and large private collection around the world and I can assure you that WTT is the very best of them, worldwide. No discussion about that. Dale Walksler did a fantastic work to create this museum and his son Matt does a marvelous job in now running the museum, adding some rare historic pieces to its collection and promoting vintage motorcycling with his great YouTube channel !

The absolute epitome of an American motorcycle museum!! Just an amazing place! The staff here are walking, talking encyclopedias of all things American motorcycles!! Matt, Kris, Andy and Tony have a genuine passion for sharing the history of these incredible machines. And they'll prove that it's the museum that runs!! In the lobby, be sure to meet Miss Tracy!! She's as sweet as honey, and mean as a snake!! LOL!! She is a fabulous lady that will bend over backwards to help all visitors. We can't love her too much!! ❤️❤️

Our first experience as a family going rafting and the lower river family float was the perfect way to g et our feet wet! Our son LOVED it and was ready for more. We felt completely safe and our guide Allie was amazing! Highly recommend for anyone wanting an adventure without the fear!

Moss was a great guide. Had a 9 yr old with us and she had a blast. She said it was her favorite part of our week long trip. She got to just sit in the front since the paddle was too big and enjoyed all the dips and splashes. Loved how quick and efficient everything was to get into the water. Grabbed a bunch of souvenirs and quality photos from the experience.

Everyone there was super nice, friendly, and welcoming. The rope course had different levels for each person’s comfortability. The guides for the rope course made sure to explain the rules and that they could assist throughout the whole course. There is a chance for rope blisters, but the staff had first aid prepared. To avoid blisters, one could ask for some gloves. The guides for the zip lining were very experienced and could show off their tricks on the line. It was cool to see and a great experience!

We had an amazing experience with Rafting in the Smokies! The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and ensured everyone's safety while keeping the adventure fun. The rafting trip down the Pigeon River was thrilling, with just the right mix of rapids and calm stretches to enjoy the stunning scenery. The equipment was top-notch and well-maintained. This is a must-do activity for anyone visiting the Smoky Mountains, and we highly recommend Rafting in the Smokies for an unforgettable outdoor adventure!

Such a fun experience for my husband and I, and it was super affordable!! We were walk-ins and they were able to get us in within the hour. Our guide Mason was super funny and knowledgeable, and the scenery was absolutely gorgeous. We highly recommend eating at the Pigeon River Smokehouse right across the street before or after your trip. The brisket sandwich was sooo good!!

What a wonderful experience white water rafting!!! We were lucky enough to get B as our tour guide and she was amazing!!! The place is wonderful, we had a $12 discount and the equipment is very clean!! I can’t rave enough about how wonderful this place is! It’s our second time coming here and we will never go anywhere else! They are funny & show you a great time!!

This is an amazing waterfall. You walk down a well graded path to reach the falls. There are several stops where you can stop and take pictures. You can go fully under the falls to the other side. Highly recommend.

My son and I love this waterfall. Cherokee is about an hour and a half away. It is a very winding road. So be careful while you're driving. You do have to pay for parking.Which I believe is a dollar. You can also get a year pass, which is nice. We walk down the stairs and it is a wonderful sight to see. It's never crowded whenever I go and we love standing behind the waterfall and getting mist all over our glasses. The pictures don't really do it justice. It really is right off the main road, and I spend probably fifteen to twenty minutes tops there. My son and I like to jog up the stairs. Which can be slippery, so be careful, but we're out of breath by the time we get to the top.

Have you ever walked behind a waterfall? Well, if you go to Dry Falls you will definitely have that experience checked off of your bucket list. I have come here several times and always enjoy it. It is so serene and beautiful. The parking is always a challenge because the parking lot is so small and there are a bunch of people visiting, especially on the weekends, but aside from that it’s worth the trip. I love waterfalls and this one does not disappoint.

Very tough parking situation due to the extremely small parking area. Once in, the waterfall is amazing! Easy walk down and behind the falls. Absolutely incredible.

The most beautiful waterfall in the area. There is an overlook that is available for all viewers (handicap accessible) and there is a set of many stairs for a special look behind the falls. Be careful it is wet with spray towards the bottom of the stairs. The view of the gorge and falls is amazing. Plus, it is near the bridal veil falls as well.

My recent visit to Dry Falls in Highlands, NC, was nothing short of magical! Nestled in the heart of the Nantahala National Forest, Dry Falls feels like a hidden gem that belongs in a fairytale. The drive to the falls is winding and steep in some areas. Parking is free but the lot is small and fills up quickly. The trail to the falls is easy, but it does require a short trek down a couple of sets of stairs. The view of the waterfall from the overlook is breathtaking, but the real enchantment begins as you follow the trail toward the falls. As I approached the falls, the mist from the cascading water created a refreshing, ethereal atmosphere. Standing behind the curtain of water, I felt like I had stepped into another world, where nature's beauty and power are on full display. The lush greenery surrounding the falls adds to the mystical ambiance, making it a perfect spot for photos or simply to soak in the serene environment. The cool, refreshing air behind the waterfall is invigorating, a natural respite from the summer heat. Dry Falls is an enchanting destination that captivates the heart and soul. If you ever find yourself in the Highlands area, this magical place is a must-visit. It's not just a waterfall; it's an experience that will leave you feeling awe-inspired and connected to the natural world.

Decided to do rafting for the first time and I expected an adventure out of this tour don’t get me wrong it was fun and exciting but only when there was those loops/waves. We had our guide she wasn’t very engaging half of the ride you’re just quite looking at your surroundings with other strangers. The waiting place has a food truck and there’s a little shop in case you need sunglasses or water shoes.

Absolutely fabulous experience!!!! Highly recommend checking out their rafting trips. Staff was so courteous, helpful & professional, along with being very safety conscious. So sad to see the continued devastation from Hurricane Helene.

I really feel like 5 stars isn’t enough. I would 10/10 recommend this. We did the lower river which worked great for us. Grayson was our guide and did an unbelievable job. We can’t wait to go back and do it again. The lower had a few mediums size rapids which made it fun and not just a float down the river.

We had such a great experience with SMO and our guide Oakes on the Pigeon River. SMO is rebuilding from the devastation caused by tropical storm Helene, and they are doing it upright. This would be one if not the best experience we had in the Smoky's.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the upper river rafting with SMO Rafting, and it was absolutely amazing! The trip lasted about an hour and a half, and every moment was filled with exhilaration and fun. Despite the pouring rain, the adventure was nothing short of fantastic. The scenery was beautiful, and the thrill of navigating the rapids added to the excitement. Our guide was super nice, making sure we were safe and enjoying ourselves throughout the journey. Her expertise and friendly demeanor made the experience even more memorable. Whether you're a seasoned rafter or a first-timer, I highly recommend SMO Rafting for an unforgettable adventure on the river. It's a perfect activity for families looking to create lasting memories.

This was a really fun experience. The guides were great and it had been raining for several days, so the experience was a great combination of challenging and fun. Would definitely do it again, and I recommend it to others!

Sean was our guide. He was fun, funny and very experienced in leading us through the rapids. It was our first time whitewater rafting and we had a great time. We did the Upper Pigeon River trip. The rapids were dispersed such that we did not get exhausted rowing. There were a few large rapids, but we felt very safe and we're not afraid of tipping over. Overall, we had a blast and highly recommend this trip.

It was so nice not to have smoking anywhere. The restaurants were exquisite every darn one of them. Everything in the casino was clean and well managed. The employees were absolutely wonderful no matter who or what you were playing. They were just wonderful. We’ve been there about seven times now and even though it’s a 5 Hour Dr. it is so worth it.

We didn't have a chance to stay in the hotel but we were able to enjoy about 5 hours at the casino. It was better than times before and were able to play some, granted I still lost but atleast we were able to play this time. Tha attendants were numerous and willing to help with any issues. Just a good time.

Avoid the scenic route if you don't like heights, extremely sharp & dangerous curves on tight roads through the mountains. It takes FOREVER. The resort can be confusing as there appears to be multiple "towers" on property. We went to the wrong building before being directed to the correct one. We were advised that valet services are included with every reservation upon check-in! We did not know that and that is not standard on Caesars Properties. Check-in was virtually painless with little to no line. And the room was wonderful WITH a microwave!!! Microwaves are also not standard in Caesars Properties rooms so we were really happy to see that as we had a wonderful dinner on property and were actually able to enjoy the leftovers WARMED UP later in the evening! The showers are extra large and fantastic. The room was clean and the beds, COMFORTABLE! Bedding was perfect although I prefer 4 pillows as opposed to 3, but I'm not complaining. We did not win at the casino and our money went really fast. So we weren't able to play as much as we wanted but had a nice time otherwise. Overall we had a pleasant 1 night visit. We are headed back for a second, 1 nighter and will see if it's just as nice.

We have been coming here every year for last 3 years.. We bring our dogs too. Very nice place. Very big ! You can rent a scooter by the day too. Plenty of food choices also. Kids can enjoy the arcade, and bowling ally. Nice ride up into the mountains. We love coming here.

Had a great time at Harrah’s Cherokee with a group of buddies—we went over for a round of golf and stayed the night. The casino itself is a lot of fun, and the food was excellent. We ate at Guy Fieri’s Cherokee Kitchen + Bar, and it definitely lived up to expectations. That said, navigating the casino and hotel was a bit of a challenge. The layout is super confusing—I got turned around more than once trying to find my room in the Creek Tower. Clear signage or even a mobile app with maps and directions to rooms, games, restaurants, and towers would make a big difference. The hotel room was okay, but not great. It didn’t feel very clean—pretty sure there was a booger on my sheet, and there was no fitted sheet, just some loose tucking that made sleeping uncomfortable. Public bathrooms throughout the building could also use more attention; they weren’t the cleanest. Overall, we still had a great time. The staff was friendly, the food and gambling were on point, and it was a fun getaway. If they stepped up their cleanliness and made navigation easier, it’d be a five-star experience.

This was our second trip to Cherokee. We truly enjoyed our stay. 💕 The room was clean and the property is beautiful! Nice selection of restaurants and slots. Emails from Harrah's made the check in and check out process very easy. Looking forward to our next visit.

Wow. This is a giant casino and resort. Great attractions around as well. The inside was very nice. You will get your steps in to see all the machines. There are a lot of tables as well. Great adult get away

We enjoyed our Spring ride through the mountains. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Food was really good (we had pork chop, green beans, & mashed potatoes). We were in a car with windows. It was nice to have air conditioning. They stop have way through at The Natahalia Outdoor Center, it was good to get out and stretch your legs for a bit. We also liked the seats we had, they were like restaurant booths. I think you can see more when seats are like this.

Had a wonderful time. Did The Polar Express on the Great Smoky Mountain railroad. I definitely recommend doing first class if you go it's a blast. They do up the depot and everything in Christmas lights Christmas music playing it's a wonderful time. I definitely want to go up during the day when all of the little stores and stuff in Bryson City are open cuz they looked great . If you haven't thought about doing this with your kids or for yourself as an adult you definitely should. Nutmeg and Glitter where our stewardesses on the train well they were our elves. They did a lovely job it was great.

We had a party of 6 (4 adults, and a 3 & 6 yo) and had a great time! The trip was really for our youngest, who is absolutely obsessed with trains. The staff was all lovely, and the ride was the perfect length of time. We rode in the Royal Palm car, which was really comfortable. We probably would have preferred the car with the table between the seats, just so that the kids would have a surface for their cups and activities, but I think for adults it’s totally fine. Our guide (I believe her name is Rachel, she said she was the newest employee and had been there for 2 years, and was a seasonal employee) was wonderful! She gave lots of interesting facts about the sites, was funny, kind, and accommodating. She made sure everyone had what they needed, and really took care of us. You can tell she loves her job and it made the experience even better. We also loved that we were able to walk to the open air car and really get a good look at the scenery. Such a beautiful, lovely experience! Re: food, we didn’t get the boxed lunches but they looked good. There are also a couple restaurants where the train stops, and those were nice. The cafe train car also had nice selection of snacks. Overall, I totally recommend the experience!

The Polar Express was an enjoyable experience. We had a great time. The staff was very friendly and entertaining. The kids had a blast, and so did we. I would definitely recommend the train ride. The lights were amazing at night. We had a wonderful time, and you would, too.

We went on the Nantahala Gorge excursion in crown class, since kids were not allowed in adults only first class. We had taken the trip in June 2024. We received a souvenir cup and they took a group photo but the photo was an extra cost, which we didn't do. It was a relaxing trip albeit quite boring for the kids. There was a lay over stop at the Nantahala Outdoor Center, which was fun to see. We ate some desserts from a donut food bus (yes, bus, not a truck) and they were the best donuts! After the lay over we went back to Bryson City, and we thought we would completely turn around and get to see the other side but we didn't. They only moved the engine from one end to the other. They have a food cart but it's nothing special, it's mainly snack food. After coming back they had a railroad museum but we didn't visit it, since we were ready to just go home.

We decided to select the first class train. The chairs were filthy! They said it was due to them being used for Polar Express. We had the baked chicken meal and it was good. The premium car actually looked better than first class. Stopping in the little town of Dillsboro was nice, a few little shops. Our tour guide on the train was good. Even had a musician to play while we rode. Really liked the train museum.

Our tour guide, Charles, spent more time talking about himself than anything else. "I'll get you a drink, but I'm not your waiter," I overheard him say to another passenger. They could skip the comedy show with the miner and the one man band. A little more history even of trains would have been better. It's still a nice journey, and the scenery is great in the winter. Overall, it was a pleasure and a great experience!

Wonderful experience! My fiance and I took a weekend getaway to the GSM and he hadn't ever been to the Deer Farm. I loved the place as a kid and my love for it has only grown! He enjoyed it so much too! It wasn't overly crowded, the animals were so gentle and well cared for, and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful! The gift shop was adorable. I would recommend this for anyone! Solo, couples, and families could all have fun.

My son loved this experience and so did the adults! Affordable, friendly staff, fun animals & well kept facilities. Is highly recommend them!! My only suggestion for your visit- If you're walking April the horse and she stops every 5 seconds to snack on the grass, let her and keep your legs out of the way of her salad! 🤣 She did give me a polite "move your foot lady" that took the heel of my shoe off and allowed me to bring a small bruise home lol I get it though, she's a hard working lady, who really wanting the grass k was standing on during our walk.

We had a lot of fun at the Deer farm! My daughter, grandson & I spent about an hour here. It’s not every day you get to feed & pet such a wide variety of animals. The cost of the feed for the animals is minimal. I recommend getting a large cup & 2 apples for every 3 people in your group. Also make sure to have a few quarters for the feed vending machines for the few animals that do not eat the feed. TWO TIPS! ONE: Be careful with small children in the goat pen. A couple of the goats seem to be aggressive towards kids that are eye level to them, at least on this day. One of the goats hit my grandson and knocked him against the fence. He was ok but definitely don’t let small children alone inside the goat pen. 2. Wear some old shoes! If you’re walking around where animals live and roam you’re bound to get some 💩 on your shoes. Leave those Jordan’s at the cottage and bring a pair of shoes you least mind having to clean poop off.

Really wonderful place. It's not too expensive, and the food for the animals is especially cheap. Lots of different animals, most of which are, of course, interested in the food you have to offer. Being able to go in with the deer, who will then follow you to beg, is quite fun. The ponies are very entertaining - they'll repeatedly kick their fence if you stop giving them food to move on to the other animals. The highland cows weren't initially interested in coming over to the fence, but the smallest one eventually came over and let us pet him/her. It was also interesting to see the various more "exotic" animals like the camels, reindeer, elk, ostriches, and emus. Staff were friendly.

We had so much fun! We loved all the cute animals and actually being able to interact with/pet them. Would definitely recommend buys the feed and/or apples as it makes the experience so much more interactive. They have everything from goats to a zonkey. You can even enter the pen with the goats and deer to pet them! 10/10 would recommend you will leave with a million cute animals photos

Went horseback riding here for the first time ever and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the nice and welcoming gentleman at the office who has been working there for 30+ years to the tour guide Savanna who I can’t praise enough for being mindful of everyone on their horses and helping direct them and especially calming my nerves as being a first time rider. I Lovedd it so much I went back a second day and it was just as amazing! Pricing is Extremely affordable (I’m from Florida and they charge $100 for an hour ride) being only around $35ish dollars. I will be coming back here anytime I’m in Tennessee ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The kids and the adults absolutely loved this place! Buy a cup of feed when you go, the deer will swarm you lol. This was a very unique and fun experience. We will absolutely go back!

This is a really excellent aquarium. The tanks and exhibits are all set up well and the kids ran from one to the next taking it all in. The play area in the middle is great to let the kids get all their zoomies out. The underwater tunnel is pretty incredible. You will get a close up view of fish, turtles, and sharks. I don't know that the glass bottom boat is worth it since you get to walk under the water. The touch tank is always a hit and their devil rays were jumping out of the water. I also appreciate that this aquarium is part of the larger conversation efforts for the planet. We purchased Ripley combo tickets and it was worth the price. Buying online saved money.

My family and I had a terrific time here. There were a lot of exhibits with an amazing variety of species for our little ones to be amazed by. The highlights for us were walking underneath the shark lagoon and seeing the penguins, though everything was impressive. Of course, the centerpiece playground was also nice for the kids to burn off some excess energy and appreciated! The staff was exemplary and facilities were immaculate. Parking garage in the back is available with ample spaces for a flat $10 fee. Whatever the weather is I'd recommend making this aquarium a part of your trip.

This place was fantastic! Been to a lot of aquariums over the years but this one was amazing. Easy to see everything, even on a busy Saturday. The various tanks were so active with so many species of fish and aquatic life. Of course an awesome Gift Shop too! Can't wait to come back!

Great presentations, everything has space and isn't crowded. Lots of unique wildlife and information. Loved the shark tunnel so much! Penguins were awesome too. Nice gift shop. Recommended!

Nice smaller aquarium with wide aisles so you have room to walk even when it's crowded. It can be a bit overwhelming when it's busy though. the waiting in line for a picture before entering is kind of out dated and takes forever. The ticket line only took about 10 minutes to get in. After tickets was 30-40 minutes in line for a picture even if you don't want one. There are some amazing creatures to look at, and even though we did go during a peak time (1pm on a Wednesday during spring break) the crowd was pretty considerate. The noise in the playground area was loud. I'm sure if my kids were younger they would have loved the play area though, it looked like fun. I wish there was more seating at the tank near the food court. it was a very relaxing area and my kids could have sat there forever if I would have let them. The penguins were cute. You get a good view of an axolotl. The tunnel under the water is really nice. It's very long and you get a good look at the fish and sea turtles. (And occasionally the people in the glass bottom boat.) I really liked that they allow you to bring in your own water bottles and even had refill stations for them.

Was an absolute blast. We enjoyed Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies more than The Georgia Aquarium. 5 Stars. Definitely check it out if you get the opportunity. The Aquarium parking garage is also all day for $10 flat rate and that is the cheapest we encountered in the area. Everything else was $20 that we went by.

Well worth the money! Was hesitant to go cuz it seems like a tourist trap. Oh boy was I wrong. Set up really well and tons of stuff for kids to do. Even had a big kids playground that the kids played in for over and hour. Then the glass bottom boat is not to be slept on. Kinda short, but what a cool experience! Definitely worth your time and money. Buy tickets in advance.

Had a blast here!! Lots and lots of samples for a great price. Peyton was the best bartender!! Kudos to her cause she made a great time even better!! Coupons were an extra bonus off merchandise. HUGE selections of alcohol choices and merchandise. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! CHEERS.

Stop by, and you won't be disappointed! The sample testing had about 8-12 (I lost count) unique and favorable drinks! I'm not a Bloody Mary fan, but this place made me think twice. Shout out to Peyton for being a knowledgeable, fun, and friendly bartender!

An amazing distillery. Me and my wife stopped here for a moonshine tasting and had a blast. We tried several of their Moonshine, rum, and cream flavors to include Apple,Cinnamon, Apple Pie, Peach, Blackberry, blueberry muffin, Lemonade, Hazelnut Rum, Root Beer, Dark Chocolate Coffee, Orange Cream, and Strawberry. All of the flavors tasted great and some were so good we walked away with a few bottles of different flavors. Our bartender who helped us sample was fun and kept the drinks flowing. It was funny watching others reactions especially those that normally don’t partake in moonshine. They also have mixers to go with the moonshine that tasted great as well. We brought our goods back home with us to Florida and shared them with friends who also enjoyed them. If you’re in the area please check this place out you’ll have a blast.

One of the top two distillery (moonshine specifically) brands I have had the privilege & pleasure of tasting in 2024/2025 with such purity in its distilling process and style that it can be found in each bottle and flavor as your taste buds dance with every sip! My absolute favorite thus far from “Sugarlands Distilling Company” has to be the Peanut Butter Moonshine … BUT WAIT… it gets EVEN BETTER!! Now I am ALL about trying out new tastes with a dash of this and a dash of that!! So ladies try this taste out … grab your wine glass along with your bottle of Sugarlands Distilling Company Peanut Butter Moonshine … pour about into the wine glass until it’s half full of the Peanut Butter Moonshine ….. grab some extra thick whip cream in a spray can and add to the top as shown in these photos but WAIT…. Not shown in the photos is the chocolate drizzle!! but darn ladies … I am right here near Hershey, Pennsylvania!! You just can’t forget the Hershey Syrup on top! Drizzle you some Hershey syrup over the top of the whip cream and well you’ve got yourself a dessert worth having not once, not even twice … many, many times!😝😌🥰😌😉😝

Sugarlands is by far the best tasting location in Gatlinburg. They have the best talent behind the bar, Payton, Rob and Cody to name a few. I especially like the fact they chill the moonshine for tasting unlike there local competitors.

What a fun experience. The place was super busy, but after a short wait, we were able to belly up to the bar and start our taste testing. Our bar tender was awesome. Super friendly and a barrel of laughs. We loved all the great samples, and they had a great deal going on, so we came home with plenty to drink. If you visit all 3 locations and get a stamp, you get a free T-shirt. We will definitely come back for another visit..

Had an amazing experience at Ole Smoky! Terry was absolutely fantastic—extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire tour a blast. The atmosphere was great, and it was awesome getting an up-close look at the distilling process. The staff here truly go above and beyond to make sure guests have a great time. Whether you’re a longtime fan of their products or just stopping in for the first time, this place is well worth the visit. Highly recommend!

On our way to Nashville and we took a last minute detour to Ole Smoky and it was worth it! A very busy venue with live music outside, merchandise inside and a taste testing bar. There were no staff to guide you to the bar so you’ve got to get a space quickly as it fills up fast. Paying cash was the quickest way as well. For our tasting session we had Doug and he was very funny. It was a good experience and it was cheap. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the area. The tasting flavours are on a board which rotate.

Was amazing experience! You can go to all three locations to get goodies and try different selections at each place. Bartenders for the tasters are so funny and give great descriptions for each tasting. Brain was such a hoot, my husband even got his to sign his cooler bag since it was part of his show!

There are two waterfalls present. It was $5 per person for entry and kids under 15 are free. The trail was short but steep, it was around 0.4 miles. But along the way the stream is right next to you. There is a picnic area near the car park where one can enjoy. We had our packed lunch next to the stream with our feet dipped in water. There are benches present under the shades of tree.

Lovely hike to some gorgeous falls. The sounds the whole way are peaceful. The trail is pretty well maintained.

Awesome waterfall hike. Great for kids and adults with a pathway to walk on. I suggest getting there early as it can get very crowded on weekends and holidays.

If you love waterfalls, you shouldn’t miss this easy and kids friendly 0.4 mile hike. There are good number of picnic spots near the parking lot. A perfect spot for friends and family to meet. If you are planning to visit Helen on the same day, do the hike first as the gate closes by 4PM and then visit Helen.

This IS the spot. Parking fee but we’ll worth it. Pretty easy walk/hike to falls and trails along the way. It’s a beautiful view and you could spend all day here. I’ll be back for sure!

Beautiful hike, the falls are impressive. The forest and setting are tranquil and very diverse.

Anna Ruby Falls is my 4th waterfall experience in a year. This trail offers a nice, short 1 mi hike with a slightly steep incline that runs along side of flowing waters. Once you approach the top, you get to embrace & take in this majestic cascade of water that just takes your breath away. Quick note: We paid $5/person per vehicle for parking, and there are benches along the way.

Loved our visit! We did the cave tour (2 adults, 7 year old, 9 year old, 10 year old and 15 month old in a backpack) with no issues. There were a couple of low ceiling spots, but overall, the trail was open and well lit. Our guide was easy to listen to and very knowledgeable, as well as entertaining. She was great with all the answers/questions our kiddos had. The formations, lighting, and water features were incredibly beautiful. There are a lot of stairs, so know your limits!

This place is a hidden gem, the same family has owned this cave for over 70 years. Very unique ancient formations. This is a nice cave to visit if you want a relaxed tour with your family without a helicopter tour guide while still feeling safe and part of the group. The tour guide was very friendly and informative. The pictures do not do it justice, this place is impressive. It will take you and your family’s breath away.

It was a great tour for about $20 to $30. I forgot the total, but it was not that pricey. The tour was informative and honestly better than I expected. Cave is big but not overwhelming or scary, and most people should be able to walk it. Just be sure you can handle stairs okay. Do not judge photos as it is difficult to grasp the size. Some of the rooms are BIG, about a football field in size. The tour was about 2 hours. I went with my niece and nephew, who were 12 and 14, and both also thought it was fun and cool.

Amazing views, amazing caves. They let you drink the stream water. The climb upward may be difficult for some. 10 minute wait to get into the cave, medium sized group did slow us down though.

It was pretty neat!! Lots of steps and walking especially towards the end of the tour. The only complaint I have was that there were numerous tours going on and it seemed like we were constantly crossing each other. Also, our tour guide was very hard to hear especially when people in your tour are constantly talking. It would be better if they had a megaphone or microphone with speakers placed throughout the caves so you could actually hear what you’re looking at. The tour also said 2 hours and we were done in an hour.

Much better than we anticipated! We thought this was just going to be a tourist trap but actually really enjoyed it! Tour was about an hour and a half long, lots of cool formations and informative guide. Ivan did a good job keeping the group engaged.

Worth the stop! These photos don't do Tuckaleechee justice, this cavern is a must see in person. The guide could be hard to hear at times, but was full of interesting information and offered a few extra experiences throughout the tour!

It's a great location in the middle of endless curves, mountain trails, and fishing. Large garage to put group motorcycles is a huge asset. We even had a hot tub at the end of the day to warm up and relax muscles in. House works well for groups with 4 bedrooms in the treetops house, but needs some TLC on windows. Looking forward to coming back again someday.

The ridge was awesome. Big garage and pool table. Parked 8 bikes easy! Clean linens and bathroom. The jacuzzis seemed nice but never used it. I'll be back for sure!

The new rooms are amazing! Besides hairs and not cleaned properly! That wasn’t noted. Also, if you want to have drinks and fun on your night off, don’t plan to enjoy your stay! “HEAD SECURITY DETAIL LEVI IS IN CHARGE ALONG WITH PAUL” they decide you have too much to drink! Banned me for 2 hours, added and hour an half then I had another drink. (Since I was allowed and a Caesar’s member) also staying on property. Not hurting anyone, just trying to have fun. Staying on property. Had no complaints but looking over my shoulder at them every time I tried to order a drink. Monroe was good to talk to but Levii is his boss. Never ever have I been somewhere so horrible. We are spending our anniversary here and this is what I am upset about. I will never give this place another dime. I’ve been in hospitality all my life and own my own business. I would never recommend anyone to come here if you want to have drinks and have fun. Security is bored and old and has nothing better to do. This is the worst casino ever been too. That says a lot. We live close and will never go back! Thank you for making our anniversary and day memorable. Hope you guys hire better people!

How much more annoying can they make check in. Got there at noon for 1:00 poker tourney. Tried to check in. Was told check in begins at 4:00. I asked “are you telling me you have no rooms cleaned at noon. She said yes but you will have to pay a fee for early check in. How much? She said $50. I said that really shows how much you care about making customers happy. So my wife sits in a restaurant for 4 hours occupying one of their tables while I play poker. She goes back at 3:30 and was told “ check In doesn’t start until 4:00. She returns at 4:00 and stands in line for 30 minutes. Vegas casinos are finding every way to facilitate early check in. Trying to be better and faster than the casino down the street. At Valley River they take pride in making this process difficult. I guess when your the only casino on the block you don’t have to worry about keeping customers happy.

We came into town for a funeral and were not familiar with the area. We figured this would be an upgrade compared to the local motel/hotel. Very standard room, not really any amenities. We booked online, and upon check-in, they said the reservation was for 2 night but only paid for 1 night.... so over $600 for 2 nights. We don't gamble, but the casino looked amazing. The vending machine was out of water on our floor ($4 for 16oz). The room wasn't serviced.I felt that this was just a money grab on every level. Lesson learned. The views and scenery are absolutely amazing in this area

The room was comfortable and nicely appointed. The casino left me wanting more of the older traditional slots back instead of the flashy newer ones. Payout was not good, perhaps the new additions are the root cause.

Rude cage manger and casino boss. Inconsistent rules. Forced to give personal information. Went to casino on vacation. Did not opt for players card and was not allowed to cash out small amount of chips without them taking my ID and information in their system. When spoke to manager about it at the cage she was rude, dismissive, and said it was federal law. Spoke to manager and he was rude as well. I don’t like the casino seemingly misrepresentation of law in order to take my personal information. It’s fine if it is policy, they should say so before buying chips to begin with. I don’t know or trust them not to sell my information, or something else with my personal details. I go to other casinos and never have to present ID for table games winning under 10k. The dealers were nice , but also had rules that were not displayed such as increasing minimum bets for multiple hands of black jack. Which I understand is the right of the casino, however noticed not all players were treated similarly. Other than the cage manager and casino manager being rude, condescending, and seemingly misrepresenting federal law and forcing me to hand over ID and record my information or not get paid out. had a good experience otherwise.

The rooms have good sound proofing from the other rooms and hallway. The A/C and heat work well too. The rooms include a mini refrigerator, coffee and ice bucket. The curtains are black out as well. The view is nothing impressive but the hotel is attached to the casino and food court.

Love the casino and hotel! Has brought so many new jobs to the area! The new hotel tower and expanded gaming floor is awesome! Only thing that they could improve, they have a total of ONLY 8 HANDICAP parking spaces for the ENTIRE food court and family areas! They need to rework that!

We haven't been here in ages and a lot has changed! Beautiful visitors center and walkway. It's so nice not having to backtrack on the stairs. My best advice us to get there early. Even for early Spring, it was really crowded. The falls were running pretty good. It brought back memories of droppint my father-in-law and mother-in-law off as they set out on the first leg of their journey to Katahdin many year ago. Be careful of the erosion, which has exposed a lot of roots. We took the trail to the top, and we saw a chasm. I'm guessing it was a result of all the rain from the hurricanes last fall. They must have seen a lot more rain than we got in our area. The a nice spot to have a little picnic near the lake or the top. Great place to take the kids to burn off some energy.

One of my most favorite waterfalls. Great hike to get the heart rate up with several vantage points. You can choose to view from the bottom of the falls, middle on the bridge or take the 400 steps to the top! Great fishing in the reflection pond at the beginning of the hike by the parking area and a must to go up to the restaurant for lunch on top of the mountain. Do not miss this place!!

It's a fantastic place with a stunning waterfall. After parking, you follow a well-maintained hiking trail to the top. There are a lot of stairs, but it's not too difficult. There are several spots along the way where you can take photos. When you reach the top, where the water starts to drop off the edge of the cliff, you'll find a flat area. It's dog-friendly, and the entrance fee is $5 per vehicle.

Amicalola Falls State Park and Lodge is a fantastic destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. The stunning 729-foot waterfall is a breathtaking sight, with the reflection pool below offering a serene spot to take it all in. The park is also the starting point for the Appalachian Trail approach trail, making it a perfect stop for hikers. The lodge provides comfortable accommodations with great views, and the on-site restaurant offers a delicious meal after a day of exploring. Zip lining adds an extra thrill to your visit. Be sure to stop by the gift shops at both the lodge and the visitor center — they’re filled with unique finds and souvenirs. Highly recommend for a day trip or a weekend getaway!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Amicalola Falls State Park is absolutely breathtaking! The falls are the most beautiful fall I have seen in Georgia. They are absolutely beautiful and stunning. I think they’re one of the tallest in Georgia. The views from the top are totally worth the hike. The steepness is incredibly high, but the steps help. The park is well-maintained, the staff is friendly, and the scenery is picture-perfect around every corner. It’s the kind of place that makes you appreciate the beauty of the outdoors. A must-visit if you’re anywhere near North Georgia!

Highly recommend. Beautiful park and waterfalls with updated facilities. We hiked the waterfall loop, 600 stairs but only about 2.5 miles. The views going up are pretty awesome. We stopped in at the lodge and enjoyed the views and chairs on the patio. We also drove out to the church which was worth it.

We camped in a fifth wheel for one week. Photos do not do this place justice. It's absolutely beautiful. I would have given it five stars were it not for the fact that there was no water for the first two days we were here. This would not have been an issue if we would have been notified prior to arrival and we would have filled up the tank with water. Aside from that, the Park and the activities were great! We hiked, zip lines and went and throwing. We took in beautiful sunsets at the lodge and enjoyed scenic drives to nearby attractions.

I highly recommend visiting this farm. It's easy to get to and they have parking. I went with my family and at the entrance to the farm they have a supermarket with a variety of drinks, food (there's a bakery), and fruit from the farm itself. We went in December so they had apples, but because of the winter the fields were dry. Anyway, they have a tractor tour of the farm so you can get to know the place better and where everything is produced.

Great visit! The wine and cider flights were great. Peach was my favorite! Bakery was a plus too!

Loved our experience! From the apple picking to shopping to the boiled peanuts it was absolutely phenomenal. This is officially a yearly thing for my wife and I until we have our child and it’ll be a family tradition. We are trying to get our family to go for a big family trip as well. It was such a captivating experience. My wife and I just sat on the big rock on the lake and talked and jokes for almost 2 hours enjoying each other because of how at peace we felt sitting out there. If you come here please get those BOILED PEANUTS !! Dill and Spicy are the best, as well as the lemonade. The petting zoo was great, wish it were a little bigger and more incorporated into the property because it was definitely a hit! We spent enough money as if we went to an expensive restaurant! There is so much to try and buy. It’s overall an experience to have and it can be as affordable or as expensive as you want due to there being so many options! My wife and I would love to promote this on social media more as a yearly thing so please reach out to us! We love what this place holds.

Had a good time running the Mercier Orchard 5k and really enjoyed the apple donut and apple cider after the race. They offered a nice selection of wines and our favorite was the bourbon wine!

Always love stopping here before going into downtown blue ridge amazing apple pies and fresh apples and awesome apple cider It's a must stop if you're in the area Oh and getting to pick fruit is really great too!

Amazing agritourism stop with beautiful orchards and a great example of vertical integration in agriculture. Dave, our driver on the tour, was super friendly and took great care of us. The hard cider is good, but the fried pies are the highlight of the trip. I had the apple, cranberry, pecan pie and my wife got the apple pie. Both were so good, we went back for more. There are also fishing ponds on site, but we didn't have time for fishing. We didn't bring our dog, but saw one inside the massive store and packing facility. I'd love to come back at harvest.

We did a tractor tour of the orchards. The kids had fun. Then we went inside and bought some mini pies, apple cinnamon bread, apple butter, and some fudge.

Great little adventure spot. Took about an hour and a half to go through. Neat cave tour with a short boat where you can see rainbow trout. Our tour guide Dixie was very friendly. Be prepared for a slight incline to hike out, but they provide several stops to catch your breath. Nice gift shop with blown glass items.

We had a rainy day on our annual camping/fishing trip. Had a great time on the hour long tour / boat ride. Our tour guide did a great job giving the history of the cavern and the activities that took place there. The boat trip was more fun than expected as our guide was thoroughly enjoining his job. Trout were massive and gave some inspiration to hit the river where they are tiny in comparison. Glass blower was the only thing open at the time in the village, which was impressive to see the craftsmanship and process in action. If you are looking for something to do in the general vicinity this would be recommend. You will need to make a reservation unless you want to wait for the scheduled tours.

We went on a fully packed tour, and it was such a great experience ! Logan was our tour guide and he had such an excellent ‘tour guide voice’ The lovely ladies at the reception desk made sure to ‘warn’ us about the trip & what it would take to complete it(14 flights of steps etc). It was kind of scary, but the tour did such a good job at taking the inclines slowly & giving proper time to rest. Definitely buy your tickets in advance! It’s very popular!

The entire 1.5-mile round trip hike took us about 1.5 hours and offered a wonderfully cool escape inside. What's truly remarkable is that this is the largest underground lake in the USA, reaching depths of 75 feet in some areas! We were also treated to the sight of a small underground waterfall. It was a lovely experience looking at the rainbow trout that gather during the boat tour's feeding time, making them easily visible from the boat. Be aware that there is one particularly steep section along the tour. The trail is maintained well and for the boat tour it is important to be there on time.

Emma was our tour guide and she was absolutely amazing. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. This place was very nice to get to experience. I highly recommend. There is some inclines in the walk back up out of the cave and they stop at a point to give you the option to wait behind. I do suggest you do it though because the boat tour is at the bottom!

Had an excellent tour given by Jonah. My family and I enjoyed the cave and boat tour around the “lost sea”, along with the beautiful grounds and shops. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique cave experience. Two important notes: 1) The tour takes about 1.5 hours. 2) The tour has some moderate steep walking paths to get down and back up from the lake.

Great tour guide beautiful area! 4/5 stars just due to the fact you MUST get tickets in advance. We went on a Tuesday and they were fully booked into the next day and had to stay an unplanned additional night. GET YOUR TICKETS IN ADVANCE GUYS. Watched many many people get turned away.

We can't say enough good things about the DuPont Lodge, the park and the staff. We stayed here for three days during a winter storm and although the manager sent most of her staff home, they continued to provide top-tier service. The manager stepped in and covered the cooking so we could still have three meals daily at the restaurant. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The lodge is stunning and cozy. We loved hiking the CCC Memorial Trail in the snow. Thank you for a magical stay!

Needs some upgrades which are reportedly coming in the fall; however, it is a beautiful place and very comfortable. The dining room food was amazing! Ragu Bolognese and Pork Marsala one night, fabulous fish and hush puppies another night. Also a nice salad bar and soups. I was stuffed both nights I was there!

Visited this lodge on a family vacation and just this location alone was a great spot for every member, every taste. The check in process was smooth and simple. The prices were extremely competitive. The rooms were comfortable and the food was great. This place is surrounded by nature itself. There are miles of trails to walk. The falls are close by and there are numerous activities for people of all ages. If you want a nature vacation that offers good food, fun and the great outdoors then this is your place! Great job Kentucky! As Always, Enjoy

Cumberland falls or "Niagara of the South" as it is nicknamed is truly a marvel and should be on everyone's bucket list. This park is stunning and well maintained. However that is not the real draw here, it of course is the falls. They truly are breathtaking to see. We went after a huge rain and the river was swollen to a breaking point, it could not have been more of a true wonder to personally witness. There are many trails around but it had been very rainy during the time we were there so we did not get to enjoy those. Some years ago I hiked a few and every one was so beautiful that I hiked. This is a solid 10 out of 10.

The falls and park area are nice. It's a beautiful stop in an otherwise empty area. The bathrooms, however are sketchy. We ate at the lodge. They only offered a lunch buffet and it was not good. We would go again, though, for the stunning views

Rooms are basic but fine. Everything was clean. Views of the river and mountains were awesome. The breakfast was fine. Maybe a little overpriced for the selection. But not terrible. The trails around the lodge were fun to hike. Not a lot on the surrounding area. But there are restaurants about 20-30 minutes away. All in all it was a good time.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! It's so peaceful! This is one of the places my fiance and I are wanting to get married!! Definitely a MUST SEE!! If you want to camp out there, there's so much to do!!

We did the middle Ocoee Trip. We had a group of 8 people in two boats. Our guides, Ace and Cullen, were awesome. This is a highly recommended activity. I strongly suggest going with this company. From Registration, training session, bus ride and the whitewater experience, it was GREAT.

Melody answered the phone when I called for the reservation and each time after, she was extremely kind and informative! Our raft guide was Henry, I PROMISE YOU HES THE BEST GUIDE THERE. He knew the river well and did extremely cool tricks with the raft. He was also very funny and personable which added even more to the experience. While I almost felt like I would died a couple of times Henry kept us very aware of when to do what, so even with our crazy tricks none of us fell out at all.

This was my first time whitewater rafting, and I can 100% say that I loved it! The staff there were super welcoming and friendly, and they all had a light-hearted, upbeat attitude, and definitely made the whole experience that much better! After a scenic drive to the dam where the rafting starts, we met our guide and learned our commands, and this began our trip down the river. I won't spoil the trip, because I definitely think you should do it yourself, but just know that it is definitely worth it. Also, quick shout out to some of our guides, TC Lee, Jack, and Hannah!

My thirteen year old son described this as “one of the best experiences of his life”. We decided to do a father son rafting trip after finding a heck of a deal on Groupon. We arrived at 10:30 for the 11am middle river trip. The facility was clean and organized and the staff was super friendly. You can leave your keys and phone with them, which felt safe. There were clear instructions on how to be safe on the water and were separated into groups. The drive on the bus was fun and the time it took to get unloaded and on the river was impressive. These guys run a well oiled machine. The trip itself was so much fun and I won’t review it so that I don’t take away some of the adventure. It was safe, a good amount of time, and worth every penny. You will get wet, like within the first two minutes. I also highly recommend leaving your phone, camera and anything else valuable back at the lodge or in your car. It’s very clear within few minutes that there’s a good possibility you’ll be swimming. A photographer will get some great photos that you can purchase at the end of your trip. Do yourself a favor and, buy the photos. This trip will be something my son and I talk about the rest of our lives. We’ve even decided to make this a yearly trip and we can’t thank the folks at High Country Adventures for the wonderful experience. Ricky was absolutely amazing!!! We brought a group of 6 and he was so professional, hilarious, and made us feel so relaxed during the trip. We can’t wait to book with him again! Can I give him 10 stars? Because we would. My husband and I have been down the river before, but this was our favorite experience. We recommend getting the picture package as well. There are so many great pictures (45, I believe).

This is the best white water rafting tour around!! We have now gone a few times and every time has been an incredible adventure story lol. Shelley is the best guide ever hands down! But all of the guides there are amazing an experienced. You feel excited and safe and having fun all at the same time. They start out by giving you an intro class and teach you how to do the paddles etc. Then you board the bus and ride down to the entrance at the river. The lunch they serve is pretty good too and they even offer a veggie option. There is also a really fun part before lunch where you swim and float down the river. The water gets colder as the season ends, we went the second time on last day of the season. But what an incredible ride.The first time we conquered the Godzilla rapid was unreal and the second time too. If you stay on the raft or if you flip you will be well prepared and it will be an adventure of a lifetime. We cannot wait to go back next year! They also take pictures the entire time so you have the option to buy one or all of them at the end. Team Kenny!

This is my first white water rafting trip, plus I can't swim. I have a tremendous amazing experience wanting to do it again. Our raft leader is Shelly. He is awesome, very experienced, and so is all his raft mates. My friends and I we have the 5 hours trip it included lunch regular burger or veg burger. I wish I had a go pro camera. Ocoee River scenery is amazing.

What a great slice of history. This walking bridge is super cool. It takes twenty minutes to go across. The walk is nice and the views are amazing. They are closing for renovation on 3/17 for two years. I’m happy I got to enjoy this beautiful bridge.

We visited the Coolidge park right across the bridge. Nice location and perfect place for evening stroll. This bridge has historical Significance and kids enjoyed learning about it. Sunset view was nice to watch.

This is a very pretty walk across the Tennessee River in downtown Chatanooga. It is well used and there are benches everywhere just to set and enjoy the view.

It's such a classic Chattanooga activity. It's a core memory of mine for so many special moments . I especially loved my sweet dates , my walks with friends , heart break crying to market Street , watching my kid get so excited to run across and terrifying me that she would get her foot stuck in one of the boards holes . I'm sad that it will be closed for two years (because Chattanooga always takes longer than they say ) but I am excited to see the improvements ... And to get rid of the board holes

Perfect time to visit was end of April, just after spring break. During week. Not at all crowded, not a lot of loud behaviors (kids) and weather was perfect. We were really able to enjoy the journey and we spent 4 hrs. In park and could have spent more - esp. towards evening would have been fun too. It is a very impressive place. Some areas not for the faint of heart - those with claustrophobia issues - but that's where the assisted (disabled) pathways would come in to get around. We've truly never seen anything like this and we've traveled across the USA a few times over the decades and seen many attractions.

First timers here from Texas. This was the most fun outdoor experience I’ve done. We have a two year old so it was a bit challenging to get through the trail but my husband did an awesome job holding him through it all. Weather was perfect so be sure to look out for the forecast. We arrived around 11 am. No wait in line and got through the whole thing pretty quickly. The views up there are just incredible. Wear comfortable shoes, clothing & the less you have with you, the better. No strollers allowed because of the tight spaces. Great family out going. Definitely would like to come back in the future if we’re ever in the area.

An adventure unlike any other! It was like walking through a secret garden!!! If you love gardens, rocks, decor, and mythical creatures then this is a dream. Also there is a fairytale section which takes you through a cave section of the gardens, an interesting change of entertainment. I loved the entire experience. Definitely worth the charge. Take your time to truly enjoy this place. Warning to those who are claustrophobic, there are tight spaces which you walk through.

I had never visited Rock City until today and I must say I was pleasantly surprised! I loved the views, the paths, the rainbow cave, the waterfall it was all gorgeous. What really stood out to me though was the staff- everyone was so kind and pleasant and helpful but one lady really stood out to me- her name was Julie and she just went above and beyond for us when we were in the gift shop and doing the gem mining. She needs a good attaboy for sure.

This was a nature themed attraction. It started out with the trail going through a wooded area between massively tall rock formations that had crevices and small canyons on either side. There were some areas that were very tight to get through. There were tunnels and cave walk-throughs that were filled with gnome structures and jeweled like artwork. The main attraction let you through an area where you could take either a Stonebridge or a swinging bridge over to Lover’s Leap. At the top of this area, there was a food area, a gift shop, restrooms, and gem mining. The view was spectacular and that you could see seven states. Another great area was Fairytale Caverns which was a a walk through a dark underground tunnel which had cutouts on either side that displayed scenes from different fairytales. There was also a large room with a Mother Goose exhibit that displayed scenes from all of those nursery rhymes. There is another gift shop in Café near the entrance along with the Starbucks across the street. There was a lot to see and do, the place is incredibly beautiful and scenic and a good way to spend a few hours.

We never heard of Rock City, therefore had no expectations when we arrived. It was easy to park. There were plenty of restrooms and snacks. People were friendly and kind. The views and trails were absolutely stunning. We loved the gnomes all over the place. We spent quite a lot of time there and would easily go again.

This place had been on my list for a while and so happy to visit it finally. You can always buy tickets at the counter and they have plenty of free parking spots. It almost took us 2 hr to enjoy each and every corner while letting the kids explore as much as they wanted. The weather inside was pleasant compared to outside maybe it was due to the rock structures around and it’s lots and lots of rocks around and even gems stones. Lots of thin pathways where you might want to squeeze in to pass those. The view from the lookout mountain was great, the waterfall amazing and the kids really enjoyed the fairyland carven the most. The fairyland carven reminded me of all the fairy tales I had ready during my childhood. It was mesmerizing for me as well. They have restroom in few places on the way and at the entrance as well. Totally worth the trip.

We had an amazing experience at Makers Mark. We were a little worried as some of the other bigger name places were more commercialized and cookie cutter. Makers being a big name still had that cozy home town small distiller feel to it. Their campus is absolutely beautiful and has a nice mix of original and updated buildings. Beautiful farms and gardens, very clean and well landscaped. I highly recommend doing the whisky Creek Walking Tour! Our tour guide was great, and very knowledgeable. They took us through their gardens, mushroom farm, mini waterfalls, large farms, then the inners of the distillery operations. What was a surprise was we got a free glass to bring along the way, and our guide would stop from time to time to let us take pictures and pour us samples of their higher end rare products. At the end of the tour we got exclusive purchase rights to their farmers version makers bottle and got to wax seal it ourselves. Their bar area was very nice and had amazing drinks and outside sitting area with a view of the campus Very memorable experience!

We loved our tour of the grounds. Our tour guide Christopher was great. Very knowledgeable and personable. I originally thought whatever about dipping our bottles but I'm glad we did. It was cool. The bar/lounge has good drinks and food. We got a loaf of fresh baked bread that was amazing. I now have a greater appreciation for what goes into the bourbon.

The campus is absolutely beautiful, and the tour was packed with so many cool details about the history and bourbon-making process. Logan, our tour guide, was fantastic—super knowledgeable, fun, and made the experience even better. There’s a lot of walking, but it’s totally worth it because you get to see so much behind the scenes. Anyone can dip their own bottle if you purchase one, which is such a cool touch. They also have a really neat-looking bar that we didn’t get to try this time, but if we ever go back, we’re definitely stopping in for a drink.

Overall, I highly recommend the experience. My wife and I went on the tour just before Christmas, and it was a lot of fun. They go over the bourbon's history, have a tasting, and you learn some of the differences between the Original and Maker's 46. Note: If you want to dip a bottle, I recommend not going around Christmas, as Maker's gives their employees time off. While I was slightly bummed; I am very happy that they give their employees time off at the holidays. Still worth it.

Went on the remarkable experience tour and I have to say it was awesome! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and made the tour fun! I found a new appreciation for Makers Mark and tasted some I had never tried. I highly recommend this tour for anyone that wants to learn all about the distillery and sample some awesome bourbon!!!

Taylor was an awesome host on our tour. I wasn’t expecting much from MM but ended up being my favorite on the trail. Great tasting, and gift shop experience. The grounds are beautiful.

Trevor was in the check in area early and ready to greet our group. He was extremely knowledgeable about distillery/farms facts and processes. In addition to being able to answer all questions we had, he was personable and welcoming, we greatly enjoyed his stories. The progressive tasting tour in each of the different areas stood out from other tours. It enhanced the experience by tasting the distillate right from the still, 46 in the cellar, and 101 in the art area. Very, very cool. Trevor offered and took professional photos at stops along the way and even obliged when we asked him to get in the pic with us to commemorate our special day. The self sufficient property, beautiful combination of art and science, the best tour guide, and top notch whisky made it truly a one of a kind experience, better than any other distillery visit we've had. Grateful for Trevor's hospitality, he helped us create wonderful memories. If I could rate him higher than 5 stars, I would. 10 stars, 20 stars, give him all the stars! We will definitely be back! THANK YOU!
