I expected more, the castle is enjoyable but half of the exhibition is empty rooms with too much text on the infoboards. Still recommended if you are in town tho. The temporary exhibitions were really good!

This is in the centre of Ferrara and still retains its moat and its 16th century appearance. It is actually a huge castle/palace that was the seat for the Dukes of Ferrara for two hundred years and was then the seat of the Papal Legate for another three hundred. We crossed the drawbridge and paid the €10 entrance although I got the 48 hour museum pass for €20 which gave me access to 10 city museums. The first thing we noticed in the castle was the magnificent painted ceilings, not in every room but quite a few. They varied in style from frescoes to whatever you call painting inside a wooden framework of ceiling beams. The dungeons were impressive too, definitely a style I would bring back in for repeat or serious offenders! We climbed the stairs and saw the wonderful citrus garden on the terrace, designed by Eleanor of Aragon to remind her of Naples. This had great views over the moat but I messed those photos up. Deb then sat and chilled whilst I climbed the Lion's Tower. I don't think I have ever hated vertigo more as it is such a stupidly irrational think but just so powerful. The steps were like metal fire escape stairs so you could see through them, all the way down, as you climbed and they creaked away. I think there were 6 levels to the tower and the only exit was at the top so I dread to think what my heart rate was by the time I got there. The views were obviously good but I couldn't take advantage of them as I didn't want to get anywhere near the edge. My brain knew the castle had stood 700 years so it was all fine but it was also telling me that it had been damaged be earthquakes, fires and allied bombing in WW2 so was basically an accident waiting to happen. I went back down the stairs on very rubbery legs and finally reached the next part of the tour. Luckily no one else was on the stairs when I went up or down. We saw more amazing ceilings and read more information - the displays in the castle all had English versions and told of the architecture of the city, draining the nearby swamps to reclaim the land, town planning, the history of the Dukes, the artists involved in beautifying the castle, the earthquakes etc, a really fabulously informative selection.

An impressive castle with beautiful frescoes (sadly sime of them not in a very good condition). The dungeons were really eerie. View over Ferrara from the tower was lovely. Staff was helpful and nice, even though not everyone spoke much English.

Amazing visit to the Estense Castle. Magnificent building right in the historical centre of Ferrara. The visit took about 2.30h as I like to read everything but you can also get an audio guide if you prefer. There was no waiting line for the tickets and I just bought them at the ticket office when I arrived. Very museum is very organised and you really feel that you've seen the whole castle. It's nice to learn about the Este family and their rivalry to the Medicis. There were 2 extra exhibitions when we visited: Maurizio Bottoni and Antonio Maria Nardi, which were a very nice addition to the trip. You can choose to buy the ticket that gives you access to the tower for a view point of beautiful Ferrara.

Impressive castle with lots of towers, niches, drawbridges, gateways and a moat in the city centre. Especially nice on a November morning when there were bary any people around

I came to Ferrara just to see this place, the first Italian castle i have ever been to, and i have to say, it's ok, but nothing special. The castle itself is massive and true to the style of Italian castles. I would even say it's very beautiful on the outside. The view from the top of the tower was also great. The staff throughout the castle were very kind and helpful. However, the reason behind the 3-star review is what's inside the castle. Basically, there was so little. If you want written information, there is quite a lot of that, but very little to show in terms of physical objects. It was just room after room of emptiness and some poorly maintained ceiling paintings and other stuff. Had it not been for the view from the tower, i would have probably considered it not even worth visiting on the inside unless you realllly want to know about the history.

Unfortunately the towers have recently been closed due to safety reasons. So now you can only admire from the street. They are beautiful though and hopefully they can be restored so people can walk up them again. They are fun though and are slightly leaning. Great view from the street.

Bologna, where pasta meets history. Don’t miss Tagliatelle al Ragù, the city’s famous dish, made with rich, slow-cooked meat sauce over flat egg noodles (but never call it Bolognese here). The city blends medieval charm with modern buzz, perfect for getting lost in its towers and piazzas while indulging in the best food. Just watch out for the pigeons, they love the food scene too.

Temporarily closed. The two might towers of Bologna is a symbol of a 1000 year old tradition of showing of wealth. They are currently reconstructing the towers.

This place just left me in awe. Such an incredible experience and so many things to see around it .

Really enjoyed this. For €5 you can’t beat it. I did the 10am (first) entry. Was super quick. In and out in 20 minutes. Definitely not accessible. I think the first tour is the best because the stairs are narrow and you have people traversing both ways. Whereas the first tour you go up and no one is attempting to come down. Look through the holes in the stone - they are great view points from the stairs. Buy tickets online in advance - they limit the amount of people every 15 minutes.

Amazing piece of history. Greatly preserved, representing what has been made throughout the centuries. Always polite and smiled hosted on every corner and in every culture place that can be visited officially. Definitely deserves to be visited as a part of any Bologna vacation trip.

This huge 15th century square, is impressive with its Basilica and Palazzo, its fountain and the many little alleys that run off it, great for resting up awhile and soaking up the sights.

Lots to see and do around this area. Stand in the middle of it and turn around to appreciate many medieval buildings. You must go inside the Basilica of San Petronio! It’s free, however, donations to maintain the building are much appreciated. The Archiginnasio Palace & Anatomical Theatre is absolutely stunning - tickets must be pre booked to avoid disappointment. Undoubtedly THE square in Bologna. Do not miss out to visit the Basilica di San Petronio (free entrance)...and the Torre dell'orologio (clock tower) in the Palazzo d'Accursio (make sure you book online to get your tickets for the tower). Breathtaking views of Bologna and its remaining towers.

Piazza Maggiore is always lovely. There are usually musicians there who take turns playing to the crowds. I was lucky to be there right before Easter and the church was lit up and a choir was outside, along with musicians. It was amazing.

Absolutely fantastic walk, enhanced in my case by the autumn weather and spectacular change of season. To be enjoyed in crisp, dry weather.

When you come to Lucca you have to come to wall anyways, so why don’t take a relaxing stroll around the old town? It is well preserved and very clean with friendly ppl.

My favourite part of our visit to Lucca was the Mura di Lucca. An absolutely brilliant use of the city wall by having a multipurpose recreational trail on top of the wall! Paved for walking and wheeling, the many ramps give ready access for users. The bulwarks of the wall have parks, playgrounds, and picnic areas. Several museums and the Botanical gardens are accessed from the trail. The Mura also has several gates as well as pedestrian tunnels. Stunning views of the hills surrounding Lucca. Worth a saunter!

A beautiful place to visit lots of lovely restaurants and to walk all the way around it with some beautiful views

This is a great asset for Lucca. The path is wide and predominantly shaded with large avenue trees, and offers views of the old city and the area immediately surrounding the old city. At this time of year it is best to start early before the sun gets too hot. We started our walk at 7 pm.

Wonderful! An architectural masterpiece. Great for walks and bike rides. Perfect for navigating the city. Also gives you fantastic views over the cities many varied and beautiful buildings such as the famous towers and magnificent churches. An absolute must for everyone who comes to visit the beautiful city of Lucca. All in all incredibly lovely. All the gates and little tunnels should also not be forgotten. Wonderful!

One of our favorite cities in Italy! The walls is a must, either walk it, run or bike or nap it 👌🏼❤️ My personal recommendation is you rent a bike for an hour, go around the walls, return the bike and continue exploring the town by foot! 🙏🏼

Nice place to walk in the morning especially when staying at the nearby grand hotel. Needs a little bit of maintenance to keep the historical terrazza looking nice.

This is a very pretty terrace with excellent sea views and plenty of seats to soak in the view, and the sunshine. Depending on where you're staying in Livorno, it could be a bit of a walk, but the sea view is well worth it, as is the gentle walk to reach it.

It may have more to offer, but it’s already lovely for a simple stroll back and forth, a quiet moment on a bench, soaking up the local atmosphere or watching boats drift in and out.

A great place for the sunset view in Livorno. We expected many people to be there, but there were actually very few, so it was a nice surprise. Definitely recommended.

I think it was the nicest place to visit in the city. Not much to do around. Strange to be next to the sea but have no access to swim. Also the water is dirty and the marine port is nearby.

It's OK for a walk down and to enjoy the views. Bit far out fo the town for anything else. Nothing really near by. Go but don't make it a must do list. Some public toilets near by you'd be helpfull

An excellent museum! It beautifully showcases the history of Ferrari. My family and I really enjoyed the experience, exploring the amazing exhibits and iconic cars. Highly recommended for car enthusiasts and Ferrari fans.

The museum is nice and there are some beautiful road and race cars on display. I was hoping for a bit more of the cars (no 499P?!?) and general Ferrari items, some history related to the factory would be good. Some of the displays, including the F1 cars in the trophy room were very dusty.

An immerson im the history of the brand, both on the F1 side and the street legal side. The progression in engineering along the years is outstanding, but always with a code identity which is unmistakable. All and all the museum is not very big and it can be thoroughly explored in 40 minutes. The entrance fee (27€) is maybe a bit steep.

Amazing museum, you have to visit if you're around or a motorsport fan. I would suggest you allocate at least 1.5-2 hrs to visit well, more if you take your time going through everything in detail. I would also recommend you pre-purchase the ticket as there was a queue which I skipped as I had a pre-purchased online ticket. I do also recommend to purchase a combo ticket (for a few more Euros) to visit both this (Ferrari) and Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena (lovely city too, have to be visited within 48hrs of each other). This museum is more focused on the motorsport aspect, the Scuderia history and epic wins. Some amazing racing cars from the early ones in the 60s to the latest ones like the Hyper Card 499P. The trophy room with the legends, trophies and F1 cars is simply amazing. The way they are displaying the trophies is a bit disappointing IMO (compared too to other sports museums) as they are way up and can't be appreciated (half a star less there). If you are tight in time and sure to want to do the F1 simulator, then I suggest to pre-purchase this as you might have significant waiting time (in our case 45mins but can be much more).

Had a great time at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello! So cool to see all the iconic cars up close—Formula 1 legends, classic road cars, everything. The driving simulators were a blast, and the staff were super friendly and knew their stuff. Even if you’re not a huge car person, it’s still impressive to see the design and history behind it all. Definitely worth checking out!

Really beautiful. Good cafés and restaurants around. Most people under appreciate the church, which Is quite beautiful, because of the leaning bell tower though. The place is always crowded, but great for a few pictures.

The climb to the top involves a narrow staircase and several steps, and you can definitely feel the tilt of the tower as you go up… but the experience is unforgettable! The view over the square from the top is absolutely worth it. If you know what time you’ll be in Pisa, I highly recommend booking in advance, as it gets very busy and tickets sell out. I visited the Tower of Pisa while on my trip to Italy and enjoyed every moment of it. The climb was a bit tough to the top but the views were amazing and I really loved the tower too. Overall, an excellent and much recommended place.

Worth the climb to the top, the views are breathtakingly beautiful. We bought our tickets in advance which also covers use of the toilets. There didn’t seem to be a problem getting tickets day of but it was easier for us as a family of 5 to have everything already booked.

The project was initiated to serve as a freestanding bell tower for the adjacent cathedral, which had been completed in 1063. However, the construction faced significant delays due to wars and financial issues, and it was not until 1275 that the tower was completed, with the final design attributed to Giovanni di Simone. Well known tower with visitors from all over the world coming to see the wonder of the leaning tower. You can climb 200 odd steps which can be slightly slippery because of the eroded marble steps. They are wide enough and not too high. So, not tedious. Even at a very slow pace, can be climbed in 15 minutes. Views over the city and countryside is very good. Bags have to be kept in the locker room which has electronically locked boxes available free for the ticket holders. You can add the cathedral, baptistry and museum to the ticket. All are in the same complex and can be completed in about 2 hrs leisurely. Has very clean toilet free for the ticket holders. You can walk from the train station or take a bus. Walk is pleasant through the shopping area and some quiet streets. Plenty of eating places on the way.

Words are superfluous here... everyone knows this landmark. There are a lot of people, if you want to take beautiful photos, you need to come early in the morning. The entrance to the tower itself is paid and quite difficult, if you are not confident in your abilities, it is better not to go up.

The House of Juliet is a charming and romantic spot. The museum spans several floors and features a few small installations, but the highlight is undoubtedly the famous balcony. It's a must-visit for anyone inspired by the story of Romeo and Juliet. There's also a lovely souvenir shop nearby where you can pick up mementos of your visit

We visited Casa di Giulietta with my wife and son, and it was a truly memorable experience. The atmosphere is incredibly romantic and steeped in history, making it a must-visit spot in Verona. Despite being extremely busy—with long queues even early in the day—we were glad we bought our tickets in advance, which saved us a lot of time and hassle. The courtyard is charming and buzzing with excitement, and standing beneath Juliet’s balcony really brings the legend to life. One of the most touching and unique aspects of the visit was buying a love locket. It’s a lovely feature where you can personalise a keepsake, and for us, it became a nice feature to commemorate our family trip. It felt meaningful and added a personal connection to the whole experience. All in all, Casa di Giulietta is absolutely worth the visit—but plan ahead and embrace the crowds. The charm, history, and little romantic touches make it unforgettable.

We visited Casa di Giulietta in Verona, and while it was nice to see, we didn’t stay for long—about 10 minutes—as it was incredibly busy. The small courtyard, famous for Juliet’s balcony, was packed with tourists, making it difficult to fully appreciate the setting. The house itself is a charming medieval building, and the legend surrounding it adds to the atmosphere, but the experience is definitely better when it’s quieter. If you’re planning to visit, try to go early in the morning or later in the evening to avoid the crowds. Worth a quick stop, but timing is everything!

Interesting, but make sure you book your tickets in advance or be prepared to queue for an hour or more if you just "turn up". You can look for free but still have to queue. Currently only €9 to enter.

I have been there couple of times, either summer and winter, daylight or dark hours. I definitely do not recommend to visit there in the high, peak season! Otherwise, it is impossible to enjoy there, because of the all that crowd and rush.

We waited in a terribly long line, people were rushing past each other, and when we got to the statue itself, they were aggressively pushing towards it. I recommend getting to the statue from the shop next door, there is a tailor and a tiramisu shop, but it is easy to get to the statue of Juliet without waiting. We traveled off-season, but there were still a lot of people, I definitely recommend coming early in the morning

It is so wonderful to feel and to caress female breast, hug and listen to her body.... Well even if that one is made from cooper, you can have some imaginations ... Years ago it was not that difficoult to get here but thease days it is even more croudy than before... OK the thing is for free... real ladies are not (bags, shoes, skirts, rings, food, roses and never enough ...😉)

It is always the busiest place. It is my second time here and the same atmosphere of vibrancy and commercial mood is there. The buildings are amazing architects to behold. Yet, there are plenty of these in Italy and Europe. I love the place in the evening when the shades of lights give it another depth of sights. These pictures are taken in Dec 2024.

One of the must visit places while in Verona. Very vibrant and lively square with market display in the middle. Perfect for Instagram pictures and capture the stunning architecture of the city. It is also a good place for dinner, wide choice of restaurants and good Aperol Spritzs 😊.

A very busy, yet very beautiful Piazza! This piazza is the heart of Verona. It has beautiful buildings and is very historic.

Lots of neat artwork, but what you get to see for the €15 entry pales in comparison the the Ducal Palace complex including the San Giorgio castle (same entry fee) and museums. It was neat to check out, but if you only have time or funds for one, this is not the better choice considering offerings options and price. But it sure is worth stroll thru if you are here and interested. Different style of artwork than a lot we saw around there. Don't forget the grotto before you leave!

A gorgeous piece of history that is still standing today. Seeing Palazzo Te transports you back in time, and feels as though you’re in a dream. We visited the wonderful November 2023 exhibition, and the place was in pristine condition. The infamous Sala dei Giganti e Sala dei Cavalli are not to be missed! Staff are extremely kind, and like all other museums in Italy, they offer discounts for students, elderly people and children.

Absolutely amazing! At least two rooms were above all expectations, Amore and Psyche and The battle between Gods and Giants. An immersive Renaissance experience, a very original one, about the passion for Antiquity art and symbols. Highly recommended!

Located in outskirts of the old town of Mantua (UNESCO city) this is a palace worth a visit and has the occasional special exhibitions. The rooms are covered with beautiful wall paintings, ceilings and great art display. Buying online tickets is highly recommended during holidays as it can be very busy.

I didn’t know that Mantua is such a beautiful city if you enter those palaces and churches. Te Palace was amazing with beautiful views, amazing sculptures, paintings and frescoes

'Palazzo Te' is for me the main attraction of Mantua (together with Palazzo Ducale). The ceilings of the rooms are really impressive. What is amazing for me are both the variety and beauty of the styles. My favourite is the 'Room of Giants', where the figures of the giants occupy all the space of the ceiling, without the borders, which limit all the scenes in the other rooms. An unmissable attraction if you are in Mantua.

We visited on a weekday in mid-April and had a fantastic time. The park is spotless and well-maintained. Between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. we managed to ride every attraction—most of them more than once. There’s something for every visitor, from gentle rides to real thrill-seekers. Buying tickets in advance is cheaper; because the official Gardaland website was having issues, we booked through GetYourGuide instead. The ticket also included entry to Sea Life, which I hadn’t planned to visit but ended up loving—highly recommended!

Very beautiful, entertaining , clean and well orginised. Helpful and kind workers. Advice to buy tickets in advance as it wilk cost less and add Acquarium tickets too. Parking in front of Gardalnd entrance on payment. Inside resraurants have different themed spaces to eat ,depends which attraction is near . Perfect place for families with teens, not with small children as there arent many attractions to do with small kids. Delicious food and sweets in different corners. Do the line for Cinema 4k and also for Theater tht had twice in a day the entrance.

Absolutely an amazing experience! The best place to go with kids! Gardaland was an absolute blast! The themed areas, rides, and attractions were so much fun. My favorite part was Obvilion . The park was well-organized, and the staff were friendly. We had a fantastic day filled with thrills and laughter. Highly recommend for theme park enthusiasts!

We had the chance to visit Gardaland over the Easter break, and while the weather didn’t entirely cooperate, we still had a memorable day. It had been 20 years since my last visit, and a lot has changed in that time—new areas, updated attractions, and some truly impressive modern roller coasters that brought a fresh thrill to the park. It was great to see how Gardaland has evolved and kept up with the times while still retaining its charm. One unexpected positive was that the park wasn’t overly crowded, which meant shorter wait times and a much more relaxed experience. However, we did notice that many of the live shows were not running, likely due to the off-peak timing and the on-and-off rain, which admittedly put a bit of a damper on things. Still, we managed to do everything we had planned, and the weather didn’t stop us from enjoying the main attractions. As is typical with most theme parks, the food was on the pricier side, and as Celiacs, my son and I found there was some gluten-free choice, but it was fairly limited. That said, we appreciated that the park had made at least some effort to cater to dietary needs, even if there’s room for improvement in that area. What truly stood out, though, was the incredible staff at Gardaland. They were consistently helpful, friendly, and truly went above and beyond, especially in assisting with my Autistic son. Their kindness, understanding, and support made a huge difference and allowed our entire family to feel comfortable, included, and cared for throughout the visit. It’s not something we take for granted, and it made the day that much more special. Despite the weather and a few operational hiccups, we left with big smiles and great memories. Gardaland continues to be a magical place that evolves with the times, and while no visit is ever perfect, the positive attitude and dedication of the staff ensured we had a fulfilling experience. We’ll definitely be back—and hopefully with sunnier skies next time.

Great family experience! Use the app and keep an eye on the waiting periods for attractions (so you wait as little as possible). Best attractions in my opinion Saman, Raptor, Colorado boat, Oblivion and Blue tornado.

Had a fun day at Gardaland with my family. Weekdays are the best time to visit as it’s less crowded — definitely book tickets online in advance to save time. Sea life is small with not much to see , so 1 hour is enough .

I have been to Gardaland yesterday with my family and had a lovely day. We started with the aquarium Sealife where we particularly enjoyed the sea lions and then moved to the park where we had lots of fun on different attractions as Oblivion, mammut and Atlantis. The queues were very small especially on the first few rides. We also got to meet the mascot "Prezzemolo" at the end for a lovely photo . Definitely recommended for a fun day out with your children.

Monte Baldo is a stunning spot with incredible views and plenty of easy hiking trails, perfect for all levels. Whether you want a quick stroll or a longer hike, it’s flexible and straightforward once you’re up there. The area also has great restaurants and lots of fun activities. Just be sure to arrive before 10 AM to avoid long lines, especially for the cable car. A must-visit when you’re near Garda Lake!

Mount Baldo is a stunning panoramic experience of the Italian Alps, Lake Garda of Malcesine, Italy. Cable car transporting one is itself an exhilarating ride seeing the landscape, patches of ice, meeting people who venture into paragliding. I have learned that the sport itself needs a calculating mind of the weather in general, the direction & strength of the wind & study of landscape. The jump looks easy but where the landing will take one needs calculating to eliminate any perilous jump. They may or may not jump. There's 2 restaurant on Mount Baldo, the one at Skyway is always open. Pasta, Lasagna & latte are delicious. One can just sit at the open lounge of Skyway & savor the beauty of Mount Baldo. This place is highly recommended.

An incredible morning spent on top of the world, well, Lake Garda, at least! We left quite early, enabling us to be at Cable Car to take us up there with no queueing and plenty of time to enjoy the trails on Monte Baldo. The 27 euros each was money well spent. After a spot of hiking, an ice cold beer and a cappuccino was well received at the bar. On leaving around noon we noted the crowds queueing to go up was very high. I'd suggest getting there early to avoid the crowds. All in all, a fantastic experience, and look forward to repeating it again next year.

Awesome view not only over Lago di Garda but also over the villages, valleys and hills in the hinterland. I took the cable car from Malcesine, which is unfortunately expensive (paid 23 Euro for return ticket) but worth it. If you don't mind to camp in the mountains a 2 days trip from the hinterland towards Lago di Gardo via Monte Baldo would definitely be amazing!

Beautiful view! And a great panoramic cablecar right to the top. Waiting 1h and 30min to enter it, but they are well organised and the view on the top is amazing!

A place you just simply have too visit. With breath taking views and a great experience makes this a family day out you won’t forget.

Breathtaking views of lake Garda. You can make a trip around the surrounding peaks or just sip your drink while watching the scenery.

Definitely NOT suitable to walk there with a pram. Too many staircases. They sold us the ticket even though they saw the pram. We had to turn around and went back.

Whilst staying in Gardone Riviera we stumbled on this place on the hillside. It was worth the €20ish Euro for two Adult tickets to visit. There is actually a large ship incorporated into this museum. We loved the views and how quiet it actually was. We would recommend it here 😀

Best Museum in italy. The park is curated. The people working are dedicate to their work. We are 5 but have an extra ticket because my friend got sick. So they help us to sell the ticket as a refund. The big navy is awesome. There is also refreshment at the garden with a pond of Koi. The only negative is the toilet. It is placed under the open air arena. I suggest may be one in the entrance or at the bar for the older people. overall the experience is great highly recomended

Impressive hillside estate overlooking Lake Garda of Italian historical figure Gabrielle D'Annunzio, a contemporary of Mussolini. Notable features include the bow of the cruiser Puglia jutting out of the hillside. Parking lot available below the entrance.

It’s a nice place to visit in lake Garda. We spent few hours here to see the natures and some art works. You can explore the nature and the culture in one go. Recommend a visit. Tickets need it!

A truly incredible place. A real insight to the personal life of an extraordinary italian personality D’Annunzio. It’s hard to broture that a person could do so much and like such an extraordinary life. Worth the visit of you like to be amazed and even fickle the enjoyment of you enjoy history art poetry. Beautiful and different museum with beautiful big garden, only you have to go to the toilets in entrance otherwise you will not have any other chance and garden is really huge.

Really good experience. You can see small sharks, playful dolphins, and other creatures. It's really beautiful and recommends to visit with or without kids. You can touch the starry ray fish in the touch and feel section. It took us 4 hours to spend quality time there...

At first I was somewhat disappointed. The first few exhibits had several fish seemingly with injuries, either from pathogens or from ramming into walls. However they could have easily arrived to the aquarium with these injuries or been simple mistakes, so I won't make it a big deal. I do have to say the shark exhibit was quite bland. Practically flat and empty, which while great for viewing, I can't imagine is very enriching for the fish. At least it was visually boring, and I would have preferred some strategically placed structures. That aside, the exhibits improved in quality as I continued walking. I really enjoyed the coral reef and tropical animal areas. Both the common and giant octopus were not hiding at all and easily visible, a rarity for these species. Great for pictures but honestly the behavior was somewhat concerning. They tend to hide in crevices or under overhangs or even in the corners of the tank. Hopefully these are just particularly bold specimens and not that they have inadequate living spaces with no privacy. I saw several exhibits being actively cleaned, which is both entertaining and good to see staff taking care of the animals. Finally I'll talk about the dolphins. They are beautiful and I love seeing them, but these intelligent animals being in such relatively small exhibits is kind of sad. Swimming back and forth in an empty exhibit, boring at best and depressing (for the dolphins) at worst. Dolphin shows and exhibits are often condemned by the wider community for not being the most humane / ethical. It is possible that they are in the process of finding these dolphins a better home, or housing dolphins deemed ill-advised to reintroduce into the wild. Either way it'd still be nice to see them get enrichment besides from just doing tricks for treats. Overall above average, potential for improvement, and I'd say still worth a visit. For those with mobility disabilities there are elevators at several locations but not always in the most obvious spot, however it looked like most if not all did have some sign to point you in the right direction. For those with vision disabilities, there are touch tanks, though I'd probably advise you ask for assistance so you're not randomly grasping into the water and scare / harm the fish. You might also smell the fish in some areas, but I don't know if that's something you'd want to experience.

I recently visited the Acquario di Genova with my family, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The aquarium offers an incredible opportunity to see a vast variety of fish species up close, each more fascinating than the next. The highlights of our visit were undoubtedly the amazing marine mammals such as dolphins, seals, and even manatees. The exhibits are beautifully designed, providing both educational value and a sense of wonder for visitors of all ages. It’s a perfect place for families to spend quality time together while learning about marine life. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Genoa!

Great place to go on the weekend! The aquarium is very well kept and they have lots of animals to show. Personally, I think the price is quite high, and I wouldn't truly come back to it, but I don't regret going.

It’s a bit of a wait to buy a ticket if you are there on a busy day so i recommend buying tickets in advance especially if you are with family/friends.All around really nice place a lot to see a lot to learn really enjoyed.At the end of the visit there’s a nice store where you can buy plush toys.

It has the potential to be a 5 star but due to the amount of people especially kids who clim the railings and get in the way crying. It was still beautiful seiing the sea creatures and the seals!

It is a big aquarium, with lots of species I have never seen before. I visited on a Friday and boy, THE CROWD! Pushing you everywhere to get near the windows to see, and lots of groups with many children shouting and screaming or crying and fighting to get near the windows wasn’t very pleasant. If there are less terribly busy times like this I’d like to give it another chance because there’s lots to see and explore. Un

I was disappointed today. It wasn’t very busy, but in the train phone and hat was stolen. I started looking for phone and guy in back side gave it back. The show is only twice each a day. Q are for 45 minutes. A lot of people wait and cannot come in. Very unfair. On first show we were late for 5 minutes and didn’t come in. Second one we came 30 minutes upfront and only one person was allowed to come in. After discussing “she” let to come one extra child in addition. Other part of my family was waiting outside. And she doesn’t let us come in. “She” told that she made a favore to let the kids in. But she let come in extra 25 people on HER OWN CHOICE. Braun hot chocolate is a very sweet something. Pink hot chocolate has a flavor of a “cake”. And my patience was burst when I got 4 small pieces of churros for 5.50€! Seriously?!

Nice parc, was hot and they got water sprayers everywhere. Appriciated the smoothies everywhere, the Air-conditioned baby changing room, clean, perfect even at 38 degrees. Attractions nicely styled without too long likes. Yep nicely done!

Definitely interesting if you have kids and a spare day near Milan, though underwhelming if you’ve been to other parcs in Europe/US. It’s really geared to young kids, teenagers and up would quickly get bored. The parc itself is small but spacious, and clean. The only downside is the access roads; whover design the last couple of kms of entrance to the olace must have truly hated the parc (or people in general). Expect to waste about 30’ sitting in the car from the moment you see the entrance sign at a distance till you actually cross it

We loved it.. very nice place and good for toddlers.. the rides start for children from the length of 90cm and there are many for that age.. there is an aquario and rettilario which made it more interesting.. there is a mini Italia and it very nice too..

We have been here twice, because you can re-enter gratis on some dates. A lot to see in Leolandia, if you want to see everything and at ease you need 2 entire days, extremely fun for children 4-9.

A fantastic place to spend a full day with family. This place is not just for kids, but even adults can enjoy their time. One day to cover all activities is doable especially if it is not jam-packed, but 2 days is more than enough to cover all activities. The place is very well maintained, there are plenty of eateries and toilets, and is worth the time and money.

Great albeit expensive experience for the whole family. We were 4 adults and 2 kids. The kids had a blast and us adults had a great time too. The shows and PJ masks museum are in Italian and might not be the most interesting for non Italians. All of the rest of the activities are suitable for everyone (depending on height).

Incredibly majestic cathedral. You can spend hours admiring the architecture from the outside and inside the building. Incredible painted stained glass windows, a large number of different statues. Even the gates are impressive with their detail of decorations and plots. It is really worth visiting, preferably with a guide, to hear the detailed history of the creation of such a masterpiece of architecture

The most beautiful Duomo. The design and art is incredible! Worth the money to visit. 100% book in advance to not be disappointed as it was very busy and almost fully booked. For most except inside. Wondering how man can make such amazing and big structures. This made the Milan trip Worth it. Security check your bags. Made me throw a whole can of sealed coca cola away. Very odd behaviour. What am I going to do with it? Crazy.

One of the highlights is undoubtedly the terrace, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Walking along the rooftop, surrounded by the intricate spires and sculptures, gives you a whole new appreciation for the craftsmanship that went into this Gothic masterpiece. The view stretches far beyond Milan, making it well worth the climb. That said, the staircase to the terrace is quite steep and narrow, so if you’re not comfortable with the climb, the lift is a great alternative. Either way, the experience is unforgettable. It’s best to visit early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid crowds, as it gets very busy. Mine was at 1630 but there were some school trips which added crowd/delays. Booking tickets in advance is also recommended, especially if you plan to visit the rooftop. Overall, the Duomo is an absolute must-see, whether you’re into history, architecture, or just want to take in one of the most stunning views in Italy. A truly unforgettable experience!

Exceptional church with deep meaning behind the structure and art. This church is proud and owned by the people of Milan, even those who aren’t religious. The pride in this structure goes without saying. I recommend visiting this at least once in your lifetime!

Located at 20123 Milan MI, Metropolitan City of Milan, Italy 🇮🇹. This is a beautiful place to come and shop and if you can’t afford the prices, you can just wander and explore the gorgeous building and its stunning architecture. I loved just window shopping. The intricate artwork and the glass dome was magnificent. I wanted to just sit and enjoy the experience and atmosphere. It was as thrilling to see as I thought it would be and I am so glad to have visited such a marvel. The grandeur and elegance shone everywhere I looked. It’s a collection of very high end stores in a four story double arcade in the centre of Milan. It is Italy’s oldest active shopping gallery and a major landmark of Milan. The Galleria is named after Victor Emmanuel II, the first King of the Kingdom of Italy. It was designed in 1861 and built by architect Giuseppe Mengoni between 1865 and 1877. The arcade mainly contains luxury retailers selling luxury clothing brands, jewellery, books, paintings. It’s known for being home to some of the oldest shops and restaurants in Milan. I had a great experience at the Galleria and would certainly suggest a visit. Thumbs up!!! 👍👍👍

Pretty cool but honestly too many people and just full of overpriced restaurants. Still worth seeing for its grandeur but I wouldn’t feel inclined to go back. Oh but the Leonardo Da Vinci Museum is on the upper floor and worth going to!

Recommend place to visit in Milan. Located in main shopping district. Stunning Interior, a lot of high-end brandname store. Many tourist there for photography and shopping. So, you can enjoy selfie without spending money.

Not worth the waiting time and the money just to see one single piece by Davinci. The painting on the wall has been retouched several times by various artists and the latest woman who curated it, admits to have been obsessed by it and supposedly restored it to its original state. Doubtful. The brick building itself is not impressive at all. Hard to believe that Leonardo even painted something here. Don’t expect this to be a museum where you can see several pieces of art like the Louvre or El Prado for example. You can be inside the room for 15 mins on the clock and the security people are on top of you all the time. No water bottles, long lines. Don’t recommend. Don’t do it just to say to your friends you have seen it. There’s plenty of better things in Milan to see. Buying tickets for a supposed tour on Viator was a big mistake. 120 euros for 2 people? It’s just not wise. This is a tourist trap. It’s supposed to be the Mona Lisa for the Italians. Guess what? It is not. This MURAL was sponsored by Ludovico Sforza, the richest man in Europe at the time. He spent money in building his supposed tombstone next door and he is not even buried there as he originally intended. Save your money and be smart

The museum is next to the church Santa Maria de la Grazie and is dedicated to the last supper. It is an unforgettable experience! Seeing Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece in person is breathtaking. The scale, detail, and history behind it. Access is strictly controlled, with only small groups allowed in for 15 minute viewing slots. Booking in advance is absolutely necessary, as tickets sell out quickly. On the opposite wall is the crucifixion by Giovanni Donato da Montorfano.

The painting by Leonardo Da Vinci is perfect. The huge size of the painting will impress you when you get in and you will definitely see lots of details more than looking it from your phone. The guide is nice and professional. They will tell a lot of interesting stories to enhance the experience of this tour. For example, I like how this painting can be linked and inspired many later works. (The school of Athens, if you know, you know) The only reason I gave only three stars is because the wireless audio system is so poor. I could not hear the guide clearly and sometimes the voice was just completely gone. I had to stay closely to the guide to be able to hear them which is quite annoying.

A reminder that tickets must be purchased months in advance! But given that, the experience underwhelmed and feels extremely rushed - literally dragging you around the tour… the painting itself is inspiring, but you only get to see it for about 10 minutes 🥴

Tourist gem : beautiful piece of park design and architecture tribute to the past. Super well maintained and organized. Worth spending 1-1,5h on a sunny day. No cueing observed. We came by boat so easy yet so massive traffic jams by car. Overall best is travelling by boat here

I spent four hours at Villa Carlotta, and if I didn’t have to leave, I would have gladly stayed longer. This place is truly mesmerizing: elegant halls filled with artworks, exquisite furniture, and Canova’s sculptures—all steeped in history and refinement. But the real highlight for me was the gardens. The vast landscape, with exotic plants, blooming azaleas, and breathtaking views of Lake Como, makes it the perfect place for a leisurely stroll. Villa Carlotta is an ideal destination for those who appreciate both art and nature. An unforgettable experience that I’d love to relive!

Truly awesome. If you have time to visit only one Villa on all of Como this should be it. Fantastic gardens, placed over many acres. You won't be easily disappointed!

Visiting this villa will make you understand what being rich back in the day really meant. Get comfy shoes and come early, parking is an adventure.

The true highlight for me was the botanical gardens and the terraced layout offering breathtaking views of the lake. While the villa itself is a fine example of 17th-century architecture, it was the gardens that truly captured my heart. The gardens are designed in a terraced format, providing stunning panoramic views of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains. These vistas are nothing short of spectacular, offering ample opportunities for photography and peaceful contemplation. The entrance fee includes both the villa and the gardens but I personally think the gardens alone are worth the price.

It was great, because the weather was perfect, nice and sunny. If you visit Lugano, make sure you go on a sunny day. You can rent motorboats and pedalos, but you also can just enjoy a strole around the lake.

A beautiful lake surrounded by mammoth green mountains and delivering a perfect blue and green view with some white snow capped mountains at the back. Quaint & fabulous environment with great view and some amazing coffee and ice cream parlours and cafes. One of the highlights of our Swiss visit.

Most beautiful lake and gorgeous mountain views. Highly recommend visiting if in Lugano. There is a pier you can walk through with boats for renting, delicious gelato, or benches for enjoying the view.

We enjoyed our stroll along the lakeside promenade and explored the charming villages that hug the shoreline to fully soak in the beauty. A boat ride is a fantastic way to experience the beauty of the lake: - Classic and Scenic Tours: These tours navigate the northern part of the lake, offering stunning views of the mountains and villages like Gandria and Porlezza. - Magic and Golden Tours: Venture to the lake's main attractions, including Morcote with its captivating architecture and the Santa Maria del Sasso church.

Seeing Lake Lugano from the highway on the bus was breathtaking. The lake is nestled between mountains, and the water shimmers under the sunlight. The surrounding towns and villages add to the picturesque view.

Wonderful place. The view from the top of the building is amazing. You can see all of the mountains around the city. The museum about the cinema was really interesting too but too crowded today

Very crowded and you need to book weeks in advance to be able to use the lift to the top ... Nothing is explained and no organization whatsoever. You can enjoy the beautiful dome while outside. It looks more like an amusement park than a museum and the fee is not great for what you can really see.

Long queues to get in. We paid for the panoramic elevator but again long queues and very squashed inside elevator so hard to see the full interior of the museum. Beautiful views from the top but again queuing to come back down.

Visited in February and booked tickets prior to visiting and glad we did as when we arrived they had sold out of the tickets to the tower. Great views from the tower of the city and the alps. The museum was a little disappointing as some of the sections were closed.

It is a great museum but very chaotic. We enjoyed a lot regarding the explanations, exhibitions and more. But, when it comes to experience, I hated the museum. There are external tour groups and also some managed by the employees. It is a nice to have a better understanding. The building is a large one but, when 20 people want to stand in front of the tour guide and try to take a photo, it is irritating for individual visitors. Museum guides are also doing the same in smaller groups. They stand in front of a parchment paper and explain it covering the whole thing to their group. I love Italy, I visit Italy at least 3 times each year but, tourist groups are killing the mood and it is getting worse each year. It was the same case in Pompeii and Colosseaum. I am sorry for sharing something negative about a Museum/country that I love and care very much but you have to know.

Really amazing collections although it still feels very uncomfortable that they are only in Torino due to colonisation just like the collections of the British Museum (though the Temple which had been reconstructed was gifted by Egypt to Torino to save it from being flooded). I would allow 5 hours to see it properly.

Second largest Egyptian museum in the world. Very well organized exhibits, 4 levels of different aspects of history fron over 4.000 years of civilizations. Well curated with clear explanation on each and every item It is worth a trip to Torino just to see this beautiful and magnificent museum

3.5 stars Big museum and very informative. The walking path was a bit confusing. I am happy when museums have a lot of guests, the problem was that at a certain time, it was full of guided tours, big groups just blocking the rooms and the way. Also some descriptions were falling apart so you could not read them properly. Some also were not placed properly, I had to sit on the floor to be able to read. Also the descriptions on the glas boxes were written in white, without background, if the things in the box were in bright colors you could not read properly.

I was cynical about visiting this museum, but it was absolutely worth it. A very interesting range of displays. Some challenges when there are lots of school children visiting at same time, but it's a large enough place to get ahead of them .I recommend going as early as possible. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.

We were a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children 5-7-10yo): the guided tour in English with Davide as a guide was fantastic! Highly reccomended. All of us enjoyed it.

Wonderful experience. Visited during winter. Beautiful views. Drive to the base station is also really good with scenic views. Would love to visit again during summer. Recommend a visit.

Breathtaking Views, But Not Ideal for Young Kids Mount Titlis is an absolutely stunning destination with incredible views and a unique experience. However, I would not recommend it for families with young kids. Getting to the location and making your way up with strollers can be quite challenging, and the long lines make it tough to manage with little ones. If you’re traveling with older kids or adults, it’s definitely worth the visit, but for families with toddlers, it may not be the most convenient choice.

The view from top is breathtaking. It was very breezy and cold . Walk to top is very slippery .Need to be careful . Take gloves and jacket .keep yourself warm . Food is Available at the top ,little bit pricy compared to bottom restaurants. Ice flyer was not available because of wind and was refunded with a coupon . The way leading to destination is scenic and river runs nearby .

I had the most epic experience of my life, The place is from another world, everything is so clean, so smooth, services are so good, I booked an hour of skiing for beginners and it was one of the most beautiful experiences. For frank they will give you the skiing equipment but you will have to rent a pants for extra 20 frank !!! But believe me, it’s worth it

I visited Titlis in late December, and it was completely covered in snow—absolutely breathtaking. The cable car ride to the top was an amazing experience with snowy landscapes all around. There are several stops along the way where you can get off and explore. The glacier cave was a highlight, especially with its Christmas decorations. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the beauty of the Swiss Alps.

We had our best experience here. We had booked tickets in advance and waited around 30mins to take the cable car to top. And then switch over to one and only 360 degree rotating rotairs in the world to reach the final spot. The views from the top is breathtaking. There are good restaurants also available in 2nd floor. The top floor is where one can have the best experience of snow and ice and also cliff walking. Ice cave is also available in the ground floor. The beat time to visit is during November just before winter starts.

The Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke) in Lucerne is a must-see! They offer delicious ice cream with a variety of flavors to choose from. Overall, the Chapel Bridge is a charming spot that combines history, accessibility, and delightful treats nearby. Definitely worth a visit!

Lucerne’s Chapel bridge is considered to be Europe’s oldest covered bridge. It’s one of our fav place to visit. The bridge is always busy. Best to come very early.

A true highlight of any visit to Lucerne. The Kapellbrücke is a beautifully preserved medieval bridge that not only showcases the city’s rich history through its unique paintings but also serves as the perfect starting point for exploring the charming old town. Its picturesque setting over the Reuss River makes it one of the most iconic and photogenic landmarks in Switzerland.

Went all the way to the top and it was all worth it. Views are impeccable and epic this was the only mountain where we went all the way to the top including chair lift and gondola, prices were reasonable around 108CHF for 2 which is fair as compare to other mountains where the price to reach the top is outrageously expensive. We also did the luge and it was probably the best decision for this trip loved every minute spent on this mountain . Loved it

Such an incredibly beautiful place! I took the red train up the mountain and hiked down. This way I was able to experience both way. On top of the mountain it was snowy cold, and about half way through it was sunny and partially cloudy with a beautiful view of the lake. It was really a beautiful experience with the weather change.

Fantastic experience. Must see if you like mountains and 360 degrees views. If you have kids, it is worth getting out of the gondola at one of the first two stops and spend some time at the huge playgrounds. Both publicly accessible - no extra fee. There is a BBQ on sight as well.

Unique experience which you should not miss. Train ride up and down the hill offers amazing views. It gets pretty crowded so I would recommend that you buy tickets in advance. You have a nice hotel on the top of the hill, restaurant and observation desk. Try visiting on a sunny day.

A great view, but an expensive ride up (and back down)! Entertaining flock of black birds on top, skillfully manuevering the strong gusts of wind and floating just above the amazed crowds of people. Loved it.

We did the “Golden ticket” what a great day. Public bus to Gondola, I road the toboggan, then second gondola to the top. We hiked to two points. Saw parachutes take off from the peak. Then cog train down and boat back to Lucern. Full day!

So beautiful up here. A bit of a wait in the queue, I didn’t buy tickets in advance for the cable car but if you arrive before 9am it’s not too long a wait. Worth it for the views.

Most beautiful mountain I've ever seen, it was truly picture perfect. If you're visiting via the Zermatt area, don't forget it's a car free zone.

This mountain range is like heaven, very beautiful, it feels like I have come to a fairyland. The weather was also very good during the few days I traveled. I felt that five or six days was not enough, and there are still many places I haven't explored. But it is really worthwhile to travel here. If there is another chance, I would like to come again.

An engineering masterpiece because of a visionary leader with an iron-well. The fact that you are able to take a train all the way to the top-of-the-Europe is both amazing and inspiring.

Amazing train ride up and then cable car back down. The views were awesome. would definitely recommend to other tourists.

It is an engineering masterpiece to have a train station so high up, but this place is way overrated for a visit other than ski. If you want to go skiing, then it is good. Otherwise, it's just a waste of money and time

Beautiful views of course, unlike anything I have seen before. But unfortunately for what you spend on a ticket, you don't get much besides the views. There is a Lindt shop, and an ice palace with sculptures, as well as exhibition information about the railway and so on, there are a few viewing platforms too with Photo opportunities. But nowhere near 200 worth of experience unfortunately.

A memorable experience. The few highlights of the trip included the amazing view of Junfraujoch from the ride on Eiger Express, the breathtaking view of the mountain at the viewing platform of the Sphinx Observatory and the ice sculptures in the Ice Palace. In addition, the Alpine Sensation attractions were worth a visit as well

Visiting the Top of Europe at Jungfraujoch was an amazing experience. The views were breathtaking, and it truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. However, some people in our group did feel unwell because of the high altitude. They experienced headaches and dizziness, but taking things slowly and staying hydrated helped. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure!!!!!

Not to be missed this wonderful experience even though most tour operators keep it in the optional list as some of the group may find it difficult to bear the burnt of low oxygen level at 3463m. Most people can withstand it unless they have a major heart or lungs problem. Called the top of Europe for commercial purposes as the highest railway station is situated there, though not actually the highest point in Europe. But the views going up or coming down are breathtaking, so also to some extent while on the top. The city at the base, Grindelwald, also seems to be out of the fairy tales book
