Heath Sparkling Wines

We had an excellent sparkling wine tasting with Larissa today! The “bubbles” were flavorful and high quality. Larissa was extremely knowledgeable about the wines & offered suggested food pairings for each one. She was also very knowledgeable about the vineyards and history of the company. There are A LOT of wineries to choose from in the hill country but don’t miss Heath Sparkling Wines/Grape Creek Winery! Beautiful tasting rooms and grounds! It felt like we were in Italy or Napa Valley.

I just love Grape Creek Winery! It is always a treat when we go out to their winery in Fredericksburg. The staff is amazing and we are always greeted with enthusiasm when we arrive. Today, Adam was our wine steward and he was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable on the wines and was able to assist me in selecting the perfect glass of wine! If you are looking for a winery that offers great wines and excellent service, Grape Creek is the winery for YOU!! Thanks Adam for excellent customer service!

Larry was such a great host! He was great at explaining all the wine. He really went the mile and helped us find a wine we like. The wines here are very good and interestingly you can only purchase through them and cannot find them at any store. They really take pride in their wines. The best part about the tasting was that it included food pairing!! That was very unique for a tasting and really put them above. It was very classy, professional and I would recommend for any wine connoisseur!

I’ve done two tastings with Ivan and one with Zanna and all three were fantastic! Heath is sophisticated without being pretentious, the wine is fantastic, and the atmosphere is unmatched. I always choose the wine and food tasting option and the selection of small bites has been exceptional each time, thanks to Ivan’s incredible culinary skills. I’ve now brought seven different friends/family over these three tastings and everyone has absolutely loved the experience.

Very nice afternoon at Heath Sparkling Wines! We stopped in for the bubbles tasting on our way hour from a New Year’s week in Fredericksburg. It’s a beautiful setting, relatively new and all shiny! We were a walk-in (no reservation), but they were able to accommodate us within about 15 minutes. We were paired with another group for the tasting, which was nice got get more diverse reactions and comments on the bubbles. Our presenter, Kathy, did a great job. Very personable, very knowledgeable about the wines AND the bubbles production process. Heath has invested in its own “secondary fermentation in the bottle” equipment to now do that on site (instead of shipping their wines to CA for that process), and their automated system to riddle the wine in 4-5 days instead of 18 months! Impressive! We enjoyed all the bubbles, and decided to pick up a few bottles as well as join the wine club. Looking forward to our next visit to Heath!
