Lakeside Park in Marble Falls is a serene and picturesque destination where visitors can unwind and enjoy the beautiful lake view. Reviewers mention the park's connection to Johnson Park, offering a pleasant walk along the Colorado River with well-maintained amenities like restrooms, gardens, and blue bonnets in summer. Visitors appreciate the calm ambiance by the water, free access to a beach area, nearby walking trails, fishing spots, and additional facilities like stadium seating, showers, grills, pools, and skateparks. The Walkway of Lights event adds charm to evening visits with ice skating available for families. However, concerns are raised about potential commercial developments impacting the park's natural beauty.
This park is well connected to the Johnson park. You will be able see the nice Colorado river flowing by side. There're nice paved way to have a walk beside the river. The restroom is pretty well maintained. There's a small garden as well as you may see some blue bonnets in summer. No entry fees are needed. I'll also suggest to take a walk to nearby Johnson park.
It is a calm and quiet place. You can come here and drain yourselves from all the office stress of the week. Beautiful lake view.
Beautiful park, except marble, falls, allowing money to cloud their judgment. It's allowing some giant freaking hotel to pop up in a portion of what was the park. The part can be seen from 281. When crossing over the bridge and soon it's gonna be completely covered by a nasty disgusting hotel that there's no need for
It's really sad When money and politics get involved in the cities so beautiful as Marble Falls, and they allow the scum. From other states to come in and post up businesses that overtake the land and scenery that makes up marble falls
Cool place to chill by the water and a little beach area. You can walk over to an adjacent park with a free boat ramp and lots of walking trails. Places to fish also.
We drove an hour and a half from San Antonio to visit and this place was nice but definitely not what we expected. There's a small variety of Christmas lights and although they're beautiful it was not worth the drive for us. It was quaint and has very little to do other than walk through the short path. We tried to go ice skating but the area was tiny at best and completely sold out. We will take those one as a loss and look for other things to do for the holiday season.
