Monument Valley Tipi Village offers a charming and unique stay with stunning views of the monoliths at sunset and sunrise. Guests appreciate the friendly owner, Aaron, who provides tours of the tipis and wood lodge. The facilities are clean with hot showers, flush toilets, heaters in cabins/restrooms, and an outdoor kitchen. Visitors enjoy stargazing opportunities, cultural experiences shared by Aaron, including native songs and instruments. The campground's proximity to Monument Valley entrance makes it a convenient choice for those seeking an alternative lodging experience.
We had a great time. Aaron is a great host. Our dogs got along with peewee and Zeus, the view is incredible. The showers were clean. The bathrooms were clean. The courtyard is very neat and tidy in it. They’ve been doing a lot of work to it. You should go.
Pretty cool spot for access to Monument Valley if you'd like an overnight spot a bit different than a standard motel.
It became quite cold and windy when we stayed in one of the teepees for a night. For $25 they supplied a propane tank and a heater which we ran all night long. Due to the chill they provided a heap of extra thick and fluffy blankets as well.
The view looks eastward toward those iconic mesas of Monument Valley. In the center of the teepees there's a covered outdoor kitchen available which I'd probably have used but not for the wind and chill. No worries. There's a restaurant right up the road where we had a good breakfast. There's also a cabin available some in my party would have preferred but it was already booked at least 2 months in advance.
A small building containing two separate bathrooms with showers is mere steps away. Both had heaters running inside and were clean. Hot water was immediately available. Although the overall space is relatively small, take a flashlight. On moonless nights it gets very dark.
Charming place to stay.
The owner is very friendly and make sure we are comfortable with our RV stay.
He gave us a tour around thieir tipi and wood lodge. Looks comfy and warmth for the stay. Check it out. 👍🌟🤓
This was the greatest experience yet. Aaron is an amazing host. The log cabin was perfect for our little family of 4. Aaron shared his culture with us. The views were spectacular.
Such a great place to stay when visiting the Monument Valley area. Stunning views of the monoliths at sunset and sunrise. Right near the entrance to Monument Valley, plus cheap gas and diesel just down the road. Rates are very reasonable and Aaron is super friendly. Great spot for stargazing too.
