Hub on the Park café

The HUB ON THE PARK is an excellent and convenient cafe within the Surrey Technology Centre. There is a wide range of both hot and cold food available, catering for a range of dietary needs including vegetarians and vegans. There is an excellent selection of cakes to accompany meals and there is even the option to have a proper fish and chips meal on a Friday.

Due to understaffing the Hub will only provide disposable containers to serve food and not on plates. The server explained that if I could find staff then perhaps I could have a plate to eat my food from. It's unfortunate that being kind and welcoming to a customer is no longer the first priority what's more important is to find obstacles. They said that they had insufficient staff to clear tables and run a dishwasher. So instead it's better to leave rubbish spilling over the bin and people having to put down their used containers wherever they can find a space. I think there were 10 people in when I visited and 2 staff members, I'm sure a few plates in a dishwasher was an achievable goal. Average food too.
