Krema Coffee

An unassuming spot that turns out consistently great coffee. If you’re after a great cup they serve Assembly beans from a La Marzocco machine in loveramic cups. Their food is great and they serve a range of pastries and sweets plus bacon rolls, granola and yoghurt pots plus more. Their staff are very friendly and the cafe is close to the main shopping area and the castle, as well as close to public transport links. Worth noting that this is a laptop free cafe but it is clearly signed at the counter.

A great place for a coffee…if the weather allows sitting outside is great way to watch the world go by. The staff are always very helpful and do make a great tasting and looking cup of coffee….we also had a cheese and ham croissant which hit the spot while out and about in Guildford.

Having been past Krema a few times as one of a few coffee shops in Guildford, I'm kicking myself for not going in sooner. Amazing staff and a brilliant light atmosphere. This is perfectly located on the corner of Tunsgate, and Castle street for you to stop and get some work done or quickly pop in for a hot drink before carrying on your route. The coffee was rich and very well made with care as you'll see from my photo but what caught was the almost warm family vibe you get when you enter. Everyone's smiling, happy to serve and engage in conversation. The owner Steve is a lovely host and very attentive. Foods also pretty good 👍🏼. I highly recommend Krema if your in Guildford as your no1 coffee stop against the BIG brands.

Far and away the best cafe in Guildford! My wife and I have been going to Krema since we moved to Guildford from New Zealand over two years ago and can't speak highly enough of the place. The best coffee served by the friendliest staff with a fantastic selection of freshly baked pastries, incredible wraps, salads and delicious sweet treats. Being Kiwi coffee snobs we were underwhelmed by the options around Guildford for a top quality flat white but Krema has topped our charts and offers single origin filter for the smooth, percolated fan. The cafe is perfectly situated in the heart of town between Tunsgate and Castle car parks so is always the first stop on our way into town to sit in or grab a takeaway before hitting the shops or taking a hike up stunning Pewely Down. Children and (friendly) dog friendly I would recommend Krema to anyone.
