Audubon Park in New Orleans is a long-established park featuring ponds, fountains, sculptures, and peacocks roaming the zoo. Visitors can enjoy activities like floating down the lazy river or watching kids play at the splash park. The park offers beautiful oak trees with hanging moss and vines, a nice golf course nearby, colonial houses adjacent to the park, and a fabulous old tree called the Tree of Life. Reviewers appreciate the peaceful atmosphere for family outings, scenic views for walking and jogging, playgrounds, picnic areas, benches throughout the park to relax and enjoy nature's beauty.
A beautiful peaceful park to walk and explore. Splattered with old majestic trees, some beautifully draped with Spanish moss which gives a feel for the area. Walk over to the water's edge and you will see people relaxing on the grass or lounged on hammocks. There are a lot of turtles and dragonflies to see.
Great park with humongous oak trees. It was beautiful here. There were gazebos and benches all along the pathway. A lovely lake with lots of great wildlife all around.
Beautiful as ever. Some stretches seem to have lost their live oaks. (Katrina?) Need to replant some live oaks - we need the shade.
Very clean and the workers we friendly and informative. Great place for family, dates, or some much needed personal time.. It is a bit pricey for the food and drinks but still a great place to hang out on a beautiful day
Most beautiful park I've ever visited. We took the St Charles streetcar here, and got off at the Tulane stop.
Well-maintained grounds, and a nice, relatively clean public bathroom as well.
We also walked down to the riverfront, and spent some time on the gazebo watching boats on the Mississippi at sunset.
