We went for the opening of Rosie OReillys bar. We had a wonderful afternoon with free Guinness for all. There was a wonderful atmosphere with people so friendly just out for a good time. It’s a great new addition to Home. The bar staff were all lovely and friendly and worked so hard. We will be back and thank you a new place to go for a great time ☘️🇮🇪

We went to the disco for grown-up. Awful bar service. Main bar must be10m long with only 2 bar staff! The barman said he only serves the person in front of him. Not in any first come order. About 25 minutes wait. The number of tickets sold made it impossible to dance at all. Very uncomfortable evening so crowded. Needs some control. We spent 30 minutes trying to check our coats in. Massive queue doubling back and up the stairs. That needs attention too. Poor start to the evening.

Went to Home today for the over '50's disco. Was disgusted to find the room had been changed from the basement to what was, essentially, a bar. Too light, no real dance floor, all because they have opened an 'Irish' bar open to the public, on the ground floor. Very disappointing. Love these safe space events but feel that, once again, the young are more 'important' than anyone else. Wrong. We seniors deserve fun, too. You have taken a special, safe event from a group of people who want to have fun. Shame on you. I hope your 'Irish' bar is a flop. This is England, after all!

We booked with Home for our work Christmas party this year and had an incredible time. Nikki, Emily, and Georgie were all responsive, flexible, and accommodating during the booking process and helped us out with two site visits. Everything was reasonably priced and it was a relief to be able to hand catering over to the team and they were able to accommodate some tricky dietary requirements. They made sure our party organisers could also relax by setting everything up ahead of time (including decorations/tables/TV etc.) Home have several function/hire rooms and we went with the Live Lounge as it had it's own bar and stage for the live music we had planned. The Home team even offered tech/music support from their technician for our band ahead of time. They also organised a social space after the party with their sister company Carousel which included complimentary game tokens. On the night, everyone was wowed with the set up as well as the personable and friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help and were all in good spirits (shout to Dan and Aaron who were fab!) If you're unsure on using Home for your private functions and parties, we couldn't recommend them enough! Thanks to the whole team.

The workers at home are discriminative towards people with disabilities. I came out last night and was just sat in a booth with 2 other people, I wasn’t talking and I was just being very quiet due to the dynamic of the 2 people I was out with which I won’t get into on here! Near on midnight a bouncer waved his finger at me and asked me to follow him, I followed no problems, He then said were asking you to leave due to being too drunk, I then explained that I am certainly not drunk and what he is looking at is brain injury symptoms which causes me to look a little vacant sometimes, I explained and could speak fluently and correctly. He then asked me to come outside to speak, in which I did! I then tried to speak with the 2 doormen outside and they didn’t want to hear it, of course I’m visibly upset by this point as no one will listen to me, I then call my mother who the doorman spoke to and my mother confirmed all of what I told them in regards to the brain injury, the doorman seemed like he understood and I still wasn’t able to go back in, I then walked the streets of Lincoln at midnight, on my own as a young girl. Discriminative, inconsiderate, not a good look!
