Kefi at the Hub is a popular cafe situated close to Huka Falls and Craters Mountain Bike Park. They serve delicious gravy-licous poutine as well as other tasty keto-friendly snacks and drinks. The cafe also has a large helicopter which children can safely play inside.

This cafe is a gem, the place is cozy, we were able to discover a new menu full of variety, the food is homemade and we feel that it is made with love by a French chef. The coffee is amazing. The young waitress is smiling, helpful and caring. I can only recommend this place 🌷.
Underwhelming and questionable food, saved by kind service staff. Prices were expensive given the size and quality of food received. A unique and interesting location. We ordered the lamb burger and the fish and chips. The fish and chips were oily and even after mountain biking for 4 hours we couldn’t bring ourselves to finish the meal. The lamb burger does not come with chips, we added them and thank goodness we did. The “burger” was about half a pita pocket, the lamb was uncooked and we had to send it back. The second time we received the meal it still had parts uncooked and cold. We didn’t bother to try a third time. The service staff were kind and understanding, they offered a refund on the meal or an additional food item.

We really enjoyed our meals. They were a very good size and tasted great. We were given one wrong meal, it was taken back without any fuss and we were asked if we would like an additional drinks as compensation. A nice offer again without any fuss or had to be asked. We had another of their excellent iced chocolate drinks. Overall good meals and good service.

Really good place to stop for breakfast or lunch. We ordered a Blt and a Mediterranean eggs benedict, really yummy! After we jumped in the helicopter with heli adventure for a taste of Taupo fly. If you drive to Taupo I highly recommand you to stop there .
