Beautiful restaurant. Elegant decorations and appearance for staffs & owners. The menu was an artwork, both main menu and dessert. The owner and staffs were very helpful with the menus and wines. The atmosphere made you feel super comfortable, yet classy. Pluse Lulu the cutest French Bulldog that makes you feel like home. Highly recommended. Another underrated restaurant in Firenze. Love every minute of it.

The food at Ristorante Il Guscio was absolutely delicious! The staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I highly recommend this place. I'll definitely be back next time I visit Florence.

Really positive experience. This is a solid place to have a good meal with good food cooked with love starting from great ingredients price is a bit on the High side. The pulled pork was special , the artichoke with burrata were great. The guancia and the fillet with liver pate were ok. Also the chianti wine was good. Nice experience but it lacks special notes and some dishes are a bit blend . Great place that can improve

If you like your steak mooing, this is the place for you! We ordered the 1kg steak @ 6 euro per 100 grams, however, when our steak was delivered it was 1.2kg (not what we ordered?) and cooked so rare it was almost blue! We struggled to eat it! These guys don't even bother checking how you prefer your steak cooked, so beware, they will not only try to rip you off with the size of the steak, but also the cooking of the steak is highly questionable!! The locals in the restaurant were treated with priority, yet we were virtually ignored and were never once approached after the meals were delivered, we weren't even offered a dessert menu..My suggestion is, if you are a tourist in Florence, and you love your steak, we recommend anywhere but this place.

Gorgeous. Every aspect. Starting with the plates, continued with the service, brought home with the food. I had the rabbit and olive over pappardelle, the velvety/-pasta was cooked to perfection. the duck was hopping in my mouth as i ate. I finished with the panna cotta. It’s rare that the topping on a dessert gives the main aspect a run for its money. Everything I consumed tonight was brilliant. Best food I’ve had in Italy thus far.
