Indian Delights attracted me by being one of the only non pub-style eateries along the beach, and I’m so glad I came! The views of the sunset from the upstairs glass-enclosed dining space were great, the service was fast, friendly and informative, and the food was delicious. I ordered one main, one rice and one naan and had enough left over to make another complete meal.

Indian Delight absolutely lives up to the name! The food was beautifully aromatic—each dish bursting with flavour. The spice level was just right, warming without blowing your head off. Super tasty, comforting kai with great portions and friendly service. Can’t wait to go back!

Friendly service, got seated without booking. Love the ambiance and style. Food wise, we decided to try something new. Were not biggest fans of paneer , but that’s probably just personal taste. Mains were good and naans were outstanding! Thanks team.

Had an exceptional dining experience at this Indian restaurant by Lake Taupo. The location offers the most stunning lakefront views in town, making it a perfect spot for both lunch and dinner. We ordered a pot of aromatic masala tea, which paired beautifully with their flavorful biryani and rich curries. The butter prawns were cooked to perfection - succulent and well-seasoned. What sets this place apart is the combination of authentic Indian cuisine and breathtaking lake views. Highly recommend requesting a window seat to enjoy the scenic beauty while dining. The service was attentive and portions were generous. A must-visit for both the food and atmosphere.
