A Wonderful Stay at Hotel Lungarno
I had an exceptional experience at Hotel Lungarno, which is now part of the Hilton brand as a crossover since September. From the moment I stepped out of the taxi, the service was outstanding. A staff member greeted me right away and took care of my luggage. Paolo, who checked me in, welcomed me with a warm smile and made me feel right at home.
As a Hilton Diamond member, I booked my stay using points, and I was pleased to see the great benefits extended to members of this crossover program. Paolo, who also serves as the concierge, helped me secure a fantastic dinner reservation—his recommendations were spot on!
Hotel Lungarno, owned by the Ferragamo family, offers a boutique experience in the heart of Florence. The breakfast was a highlight, with a wide selection of fresh salads, meats, yogurt, and fruit—perfect to start the day.
Overall, my experience was phenomenal, and I would definitely book Hotel Lungarno again on my next trip to Florence. Hilton members should definitely take advantage of this unique partnership!
Great hotel!!! Beautiful location and very lovey rooms. Staff was kind and concierge went above and beyond with their help in activity coordination and recommendations. Want to do a special shout out for the cleaning crew who went put in a ridiculous amount of time and attention to detail when cleaning the rooms. Small things like the staff coming in the afternoon and preparing the room for bed (closing blinds, putting slippers by the bed, and putting fresh water on the nightstands) was such a thoughtful touch
What a wonderful experience at the prettiest hotel in an amazing city! Thanks Bilal and team for a wonderful stay. Thanks also for taking the best photo of us on our way out the door! :) Hotel Lungarno is a top hotel in the prettiest boutique package. From the cozy lobby and bar area with the best Arno and Ponte de Vecchio views to the beautiful well appointed rooms. Honestly, I was like stunned the room was so lovely - classic and yet modern too. But the view of the Duomo and river from the 7th floor - I just stared and stared. The hotel is well located too. The only thing I could maybe have asked for is a gym, but I get it given that space is a bit tight on the river and the buildings aren't new... Honestly, we just walked and walked, so I didn't need a gym!
Hotel Lungarno was the perfect hotel for our stay in Florence. The property is luxurious and elegant, and the service takes it to another level. Every experience that we had with their staff was exceptional. They set the highest standard.
We had an absolutely incredible experience staying here while visiting Florence. The hotels location was very central to the best gelato stores, shopping, pizza, and restaurants. The hotel room is spacious and we loved the views on the water. What blew us away though, was the service. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make us and our 10 month old son welcome to the city. They were extremely accommodating, respectful, and kind. They helped us get a reservation to the best restaurants, even trattoria Zaza on late notice. When we were trying to get a taxi, but the roads were shut down because of a protest at the edge of the river, Bilal and Omar carried our bags over a mile to the train station and helped us find additional routes to make sure we didn’t miss our flight. I didn’t know that level of service existed!!! Thank you to everyone who made our stay so comfortable and welcoming! We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending to everyone.
