They were out of hot sauce, which is one of the main reasons we go, and we weren't informed until we received our tacos, and they also ran out of flour tortillas and put our breakfast tacos on corn tortillas without informing us. To make matters worse, the tacos were cold, and the cheese wasn’t even melted. The staff didn’t communicate any of these issues while I was ordering, which made the situation even more frustrating. This negative experience could have been avoided with better communication and preparation. If we were informed of what they were out of prior we would've adjusted our order and went on our way with a good experience. Unfortunately, lack of communication and then quality of food on top of it made it enough for us to not want to come back, no matter how good the hot sauce is. The team ended up giving us our money back since they were out of the stuff to remake the tacos.

But this did not disappoint, and I definitely don't make it like that at home. Though I will be trying to figure out how to do so. I discovered they have a hot sauce made in house that is chef's kiss. Do they sell it by the bottle? I need to find out. The French breakfast also looked really good. I think next time, I'll order my 5 year old son the French breakfast instead off of the kids menu. I ended up buying him an éclair afterwards. I did see that they had a nice sounding grilled cheese on the kids menu for lunch, so that may rival his favorite at Schlotzkys. We were a party of five with 3 children and they all enjoyed it. The fajita meat was cooked just right and the pastor was flavorful. The red salsa is mild in spice hotness level but is good tasting. Everyone enjoyed their dish and the rice/beans were good too. The tortillas were not drenched in oil and that was a plus for us. Service was prompt and courteous and prices was fair. We will return if we are in the area.
