My visit to Patenga Sea Beach was a truly unforgettable experience. The sky was filled with thunderclouds during my stay, creating a dramatic and breathtaking atmosphere. I spent around an hour and a half there, completely captivated by the natural beauty and intensity of the moment. It was a perfect example of what we call in Bangla — "ভয়ংকর সুন্দর" — terrifyingly beautiful. The combination of roaring waves, stormy skies, and cool sea breeze made it a memorable and thrilling experience.

Very very neat and clean. Must visit place in Chittagong. The perfect time to visit is during sunset. It's unique for it's sea view with thousands of ship anchored in the the ocean. Technically it's the end of a river. Beware of scammers, not everyone here is trying to scam you but there are some. Like some photographers or food court etc.

I really enjoyed my time there. The area has plenty of parking space, which made things easy. There are lots of tasty snacks available like peyaju, chotpoti, fuchka, and badam. You can also try horse riding by the beach, which was a fun experience. For those who love adventure, there are speed boat rides too! It’s a great place to relax, have fun, and enjoy the sea breeze.

Good Collection, But Need to Organise and have to maintain the Cleanness!

The Ethological museum is a central museum for all the ethological people of the country. The tribal people's history and culture is well depicted here. But the place is undernourished. When, we went there painting works were ongoing. Maybe for that reason, dust was all over the museum. But as it was kept open, the museum should be well in shape. The items are not upgraded. It seemed that no caretaking was done in the last few years.

This Museum is full with important resources from all over Bangladesh. I liked the way they keep the culture of monipuri, khasia,hajong,marma and so on. As a sylheth i would like to share that they have to keep some more Cultural activities of Sylhet.

Don't leave yourself trapped inside the house, go out to know the world .. Know the nation, the group, know their heritage ..... Hold on to your own traditions, respect the traditions of others. Welcome to Ethnological Museum of Chittagong, Bangladesh! Take a virtual tour with the moments that I captured during my visit. The museum is located in Agrabad circle of Agrabad Commercial Area. It cost around BDT 20/- for an adult ticket (for foreigners, the cost is higher) to enter the museum. The frontline of the museum is decorated with gardens and inside of the museum is decorated with different ethnographic clothing and home accessories which were used during their time. The museum’s wall and interior needs much attention to modify since it looks old and decaying. The lighting system inside the museum should also be upgraded!

Nice visit. The location itself is very scenic and a fresh distraction from the city. But when we went they said that currently it was not allowed to enter the cemetery main area, only the outside area is open to visitors. So, if you're looking to visit inside, try to ask beforehand.

Chattogram War Cemetery is a memorable burial place for members of the various Nation's armed forces who died during the World War II. 400 corpses were buried in this cemetery under the supervision of the army. Entrance fees, beautiful gardens and then the cemetery with a huge cross in the middle.

The environment here is very beautiful, pleasant and clean. No ticket is required for entry. But the inner part of the grave cannot be entered. Only the front can be accessed. The map says it is open from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM. But in reality, most of the time the gate closes at 10:00 am. It opens again at 3:00 PM and closes at 5:00 PM.

The Chittagong War Cemetery is not just a spot on the map—it’s a place of remembrance, sacrifice, and solemnity. It should be respected and honored as such. Unfortunately, too many people treat it like a picnic spot or a casual dating spot, which completely goes against the spirit of the place. This is sacred ground, and it deserves silence, reflection, and gratitude—not selfies and snack breaks.

The Chattogram War Cemetery, located in Chattogram (formerly Chittagong), Bangladesh, is a solemn and beautifully maintained memorial that honors the memory of soldiers who perished during World War II. This review highlights the cemetery's historical significance, serene environment, and thoughtful maintenance. The Chattogram War Cemetery is a testament to the sacrifices made by Allied forces during World War II. Established by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC), it serves as the final resting place for over 700 soldiers from various countries, including the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, and East and West Africa. These soldiers were part of the Burma Campaign, fighting against Japanese forces. The cemetery is a poignant reminder of the global nature of the conflict and the diverse nationalities that contributed to the war effort.

Visited in April 2022. Cannot be entered inside by common people and need special permission for that. The outskirt area if the cemetery is nice but the frequented by young couples! This cemetery was established for Commonwealth soldiers and others who died in World War II. It was created by the British Army, and there were originally about 400 burials. Graves have since been transferred to this cemetery from the other sites of Assam and Bangladesh.

A nice breezy environment to sit for calmness surrounded with natural beauty. Its a 2nd world war relics to commemorate the memory of Commonwealth soldiers who died in the war. Entering to the actual graveyard is restricted for public. This place is welk maintained and truly a marvelous place to spend time.

Good place for outing with friends & family. The place is kids friendly too. We took entry ticket with 4 rides at 350 Taka. The thing i found most disgusting is Lake View Restaurant. Food quality is below standard but the price is too high.

I won't recommend foy's lake for adults :3. But the Basecamp activities look interesting but the majority of the time they're booked so normal people can't enter.

Best experience in Foy's lake is lake view. When you go to foy's lake you should hire boat and see the lake and feel the nature.

Latest visit was in December 2022. Nice big lake under private maintenance and one of the major tourist spots in CTG. This is a part of amusement park and resort also.

"A hidden gem in Chittagong! Foy's Lake is a perfect blend of natural beauty and peaceful serenity. The calm water, lush green hills, and the playful ambiance of the amusement park make it an ideal getaway for families and nature lovers alike. Every moment spent here felt like a breath of fresh air—truly a place where memories are made.

Too much commercialisation of the natural lake and hills. Their policy for kids of different size and adult is so that all can't get into same rides. That means adults can ride specific rides and kids can ride some childish small rides only. That defeats the purpose of family fun. To make it worse, those policy is not written, you have to ask in front of every ride. Staffs are not at all cordial and well behaved. They work like bus conductor and don't give complete info or knows how to deal with customers. Entry fee is very high, 350 taka. That means only to see the lake and hills you have to pay this ! Entry with 5 ride is 500 taka, where the rides are different for kids and adults.

Nice place to visit. There are many rides, boats and also a camping place which many adventure activities. There are arrangements of 9D cinema, arcade game also. You can visit the lake with boat.

Worst place for visiting. They made the natural lake personal property and force you to buy ticket cost more than 450 BDT. This is kind of fradulace. Govt should take action against them.

A good place to visit with family or friends. Especially kids will love this park. Inside the park there are various rides for kids and adults. The ticket price of the ride is given in the picture. Apart from the pictures, there are some other rides. Kayaking is available in the lake. Can go on a boat trip with the family. There are also boat trips to SeaWorld. The surrounding environment is quite good. No outside food can be taken inside. But the price of the food inside seemed high to me. Base camp is available. There are also resorts if you want to stay inside the park. Overall, good as an amusement park in Chittagong city. But everything costs a little more.

I ordered red and white cream pasta and a beef burger, The pasta was salty and had no spice, The burger beef patty was rubbery. I asked them for spicy sauce for the pasta and they gave me two types of sauce, after mixing the sauce then the pasta was good. The good part is that - they were very concerned that i didn’t like the food, so they gave me dessert. 🥰

The atmosphere of this cafe is very nice. The taste of the food is also very good. Especially their Nutella milkshake is really amazing. A perfect place to hang out with friends.

Their food is not available here to I recommend, but their service was good. Today we face a issues with the electricity problem, almost 6/7 times had gone. Their price range is too high comparing with others same brand, we also selected a juice that mentioned on photo is nothing just use some Lemon soda and other ingredient and It's cost 200 taka, It's Tooooo high. Their food quality is good, packaging as well.

We visited this place on 24 October at 9:00pm It was unexpected service! We have ordered foods and it’s came after long time and they brought our drinks when we almost finished eating! After eating I called many times waiters to clean table and give us some dessert but they didn’t and all waiter was busy with ICC t20 cricket match . I didn’t expect like this service from you

Food was delicious but the quantity of rice wasn't enough for the price. Waiter was very unprofessional, nodding and signaling from afar instead of coming to the table and answering my queries, almost like a local restaurant. Air conditioner was on but it was still warm inside.

Very poor quality restaurant compared to Bir Chattala or Barcode Junction. The taste of the food is average, the service quality of the staff is very bad, the atmosphere is not very touchy. This restaurant was originally opened by targeting foreign students of Asian University for Women. But I am a fan of Barcode, so I would say upgrade this restaurant.

Paid around 300 Taka just to get a scanty amount of chicken corn soup. The soup container was merely bigger than a tiny coaster! (picture added) Also, the taste was blunt; no salt at all!! Utterly rubbish 👎 Used to be a regular customer of the Barcode chain, but I am extremely disappointed to see that they have now gone to the dogs. Not at all recommended anymore. 👎

Pretty ordinary food served in an average restaurant ambience. Cleanliness and hygiene level need serious attention as well. We ordered Jhal Fuchka, which was OK. Ordered one masala dosa and one chicken masala dosa. I cannot rate the dosas more than 2 out of 5. Dosa was crispy but masala part was terrible, like ordinary road side shingara stuffings and too oily. It was lacking taste and aroma of authentic masala of any kind. Coconut 🥥 chutney was all liquid and very sweet. Sambar was not anywhere close to real South Indian sambar. There were a lot of flies in the restaurant. Fridge and kitchen area in the first floor looked unclean. Water bottles are stored in the dinning space, hand washing area is untidy…….

One of the best in Chittagong. Initially it was famous for their signature Mutton Biriany. Now, It got a lot of options. Amaged to see various sea food options in a restaurant that used to serve only indian dishes. Food tastes good. Service is ok. Recommended for a well rounded food experience.

It is a very well organized restaurant..... 😌 Their 1 portion of meal is good for 2 people. Like the Chicken butter masala on the menu may seem over prized but their portion is good for 3 person.... So for one person you can order half of the meal portion and you will be good. The service was really fast and neat..... Over all a very good place near the bus stops to have dinner or lunch....😇

The beef boti kabab was also tasty, though on the pricier side. However, the high points are spoiled by big downsides. The tandoori chicken, unfortunately, falls flat, lacking the expected smoky char and juicy tenderness. But the most concerning aspect was the extremely rude behavior and service from the staff. The waiters behavior was unfortunately quite rude. We experienced a long wait time on both getting seated and for our food to arrive.The condition of the restroom was also unsatisfactory. The overall service left a lot to be desired. If you're looking for an good biryani,want to show off other people and can tolerate long waits and bad service, Handi might be worth a try.

After entering into Manager welcome us with greetings this made Handi one of the finest restaurant in chattogram. And Probably the best Handi. As we heard, This place is famous for their Hyderabadi Biryani. So, we ordered this famous item and truly I am satisfied with the food quality. Though the price are high. Sitting arrangement is okay. But the warm lighting tone is quite good. And they didn't provide any types of Salad with Biriyani. You have to order the basic Salad with 80 Taka. This was toooooo much to tolerate. Ratings. Nice place to hangout with friends and family. Really good buffet they serve and every other dish is delicious. You can find local foods also Indian and Thai food there. They serve buffet lunch and buffet dinner. Number of items in buffet varies from 30 to 60 items. And pricing is also very competitive not too much high risk actually cheap compare to some other restaurants.

I had the unexpected experience of dining at the worst buffet I have ever encountered. The quality of the food was exceptionally low; it was utterly tasteless. Additionally, they did not provide a refrigerator for the ice cream, causing it to melt.Their salad portions were so poor.The mutton served was of very poor quality, full of bones, suggesting it was from the less desirable parts of the animal. Furthermore, the condition of the restroom was unacceptable. It was dirty, devoid of toilet tissue, and there was only one chamber available, which made for an awkward experience for guests.

Their Food is Superb! Everybody knows that. And the way they Serve the Food looks spectacular. I like the new place where they just moved in. It's classy and pretty good for Friends hangout and Dates as well. Family time shouldn’t also be a problem here. But for Official meetings this might not be the place you want to be. They got variety of foods! I tried one dish that I must refer to others! 1 fried rice + bbq chicken wings(comes in 6pcs)+ garlic sauce+ periperi sauce. The sauces are additional. This feels heaven man!! You gotta try!

Cafe Milano has nice and pleasant decoration.The behaviour of the waiters are also quite satisfactory. The presentation and the taste of foods are both quite appetizing. "Happy Hour" Meals are also very cheap for students.Located at the Ground Floor of Premier University Engineering Campus. Always.crowded with the university students. Overall, not a bad place to have some food.
