The Castle, a prominent symbol of Schio, has a mysterious history that still raises doubts. However, one cannot deny its undeniable beauty, intriguing nature, meticulous maintenance, and strategic location overlooking the town. This iconic tourist attraction is also home to the Scledense photographic club, which convenes on Friday evenings at 9 pm. (Translated by Google) The monument to the Weaver, nicknamed the Omo (Man in the Venetian language), is a sculpture in Schio, created in 1879 by Giulio Monteverde. Commissioned by Alessandro Rossi and dedicated "to its weavers", it is one of the main symbols of the city; the statue appears to be the first monument in Italy dedicated to workers. The statue, in white stone, depicts a worker holding a shuttle, an essential part of the mechanical loom; his gaze is directed directly towards the fuse he is holding. Clothes are placed at his feet, the fruit of his labor. The base of the statue, in granite, is the work of Antonio Caregaro Negrin; in addition to the dedication of the monument and the name of the client, a series of mottos are engraved inside eight panels which well summarize the entrepreneurial philosophy of Alessandro Rossi. La statua, in pietra bianca, raffigura un operaio che tiene in mano una navetta, parte essenziale del telaio meccanico; il suo sguardo è rivolto proprio verso la spoletta che impugna. What a fantastic meal at Ristorante de Beppino. Came here with work colleagues when visiting Schio. Food and service was great, There was 13 of us and the food came out all together with no delays to anyone’s dish. Lovely setting and building making it a very enjoyable evening. I am a very demanding and sometimes difficult visitor to establishments. The slightest problem can make me angry and ruin my evening. In Italy, it’s hard for me to find a restaurant where everything is perfect. But here it was simply excellent. The staff is very polite and friendly. At my request, they immediately changed the table to the one I liked. The restaurant's interior is sophisticated. When my boyfriend and I tried the food, we unanimously said that we felt the soul that was put into absolutely all the dishes that were served to us. Overall, I was very pleased with the restaurant. I will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone. Thank you for a pleasant evening!

The Spinechile Resort offers a unique and immersive dining experience in the Veneto region of Italy. It is not just about dining, but rather a life-enriching opportunity to explore and learn about this specific area. The restaurant's dishes are impeccable and well-described, with an array of delectable desserts that may leave you too full to try them all. The website provides clear directions to ensure you don't get lost on your way.
This is not dining… this rather is a life experience that gives you the opportunity to feel and learn about a specific Italian area, the Veneto region. The dishes were perfect and well explained. It was taken over from an old barn and in fact the original structure has been maintained. Inside the atmosphere is very elegant, intimate and at the same time relaxed. Very rustic room with a window wall overlooking a beautiful and profound landscape. While pouring the wine and water I saw a lot jumping out of the glass due to a bit of haste in pouring, otherwise the waiters are trained and professional. You can get there via a short stretch of dirt road, but don't worry, there is space, once you reach their gate you simply need to ring the bell and they will open it for you. Thank you all and see you next time (Original) Esperienza molto valida, preparazioni particolari e azzeccate, solo il consommé l’ho trovato un po’ troppo salato. Saletta molto rustica con una parete finestra che da su un paesaggio bello e profondo. The environment is super welcoming, with that rustic touch (former stable) that makes you feel at home but with a touch of class that leaves you speechless. Moving on to the food: a real explosion of flavours! Every bite makes you salivate, the combinations are crazy and the quality of the raw material can be felt in every bite. The service is impeccable, the waiters are super friendly and make you feel pampered from start to finish. A note of thanks to the owner who manages the room and acts as sommelier, entertaining us and explaining all the hard work behind such a healthy and authentic reality. In short, if you are looking for a place to eat well and spend an unforgettable evening, Spinechile is the right place! Trust me, you won't regret it. The place has a nice ambience and the restaurant is quite nice, but the management has to learn how to run a hotel. Playing music outside at 12am is not a way to ensure that your guests get a good night's sleep. There is way too much noise coming from outside. It's a shame because the rooms are nice. Hopefully management addresses this problem.

They have potential to receive 5 stars from me... The rooms are brand new, great style & sound proof (more on why that's important later), the bed is comfortable, and the location is very beautiful. It is not an agriturismo! The pool, bar and grounds are open to the public which is not indicated on their booking.com or agriturismo.it pages. This is what went wrong: We arrived early, and immediately realized this place was not what we expected for our relaxing vacation. There was music baring and people everywhere so we went inside to get some information. The staff needs better training as it's clear they aren't prepared for overnight guests. When we entered there was no one at the reception, a lady came in from outside rushing to find her mask and put it on. She told us we were early and had to come back at 5 because they had to clean properly due to covid. We expected some kind of explanation on what activities were on the grounds, instructions on where we can wait or even where to put our bags but she offered no information and it quickly became an uncomfortable interrogation where all we learned is that we can go to the bar and wait. At the bar, while the staff was kind and courteous, they were also in a rush. I expected for them to talk to us about the products produced by the agriturismo but they didn't... One just orders and is directed to sit down. Not to mention not one person behind the counter was wearing a mask over their mouth and nose. After that, we decided to walk around the grounds to see for ourself what the property offers and quickly realized the sunbeds aren't disinfected after each use even though the entire place is open to the public. At 5 we returned to reception, where an upbeat (properly masked) woman gave us the keys to our room and explained how to get in and out of the building. She did not offer information about the grounds either and since we had read online that there was an additional charge for the pool, I asked about it. They charge 22 euro (the same price they charge general public, even though you book a room). We expected 10 euro or less as long overnight guests . We decided not to use the amenities and simply enjoy our room and travel the area. The room cleaning was not bad but not thorough. There was a white substance on the dresser. We shrugged it off as some residue from the cleaning supplies and let it go. From inside the room, we could not hear the blaring music or people outside. The view from the windows is a huge drawback. The only thing you see is floor gravel as the windows are literally at outdoor floor level and anyone that passes by can see inside unless you keep them covered. The next morning, the power went out at 8:30 and we were awoken by the blaring light of the safety headlight. Which also highlighted a huge spiderweb and spider. At this point we had enough and decided to speak to someone. We went downstairs to have breakfast which is located at the full service bar where the 3 staff members behind the bar were again not wearing masks properly or at all. The included breakfast was cerial, prepacked toast, and jams and a drink of choice from the bar. I was only offered a brioche after I was visually upset. We chose to have a coffee and juice and were directed to be served at the table. Again, the waitress was wearing her mask under her chin. When we spoke to the director, He was professional, kind and listened with an intent to understand and focused on problem solving. He resolved by not charging for the entire booking and to find us a more relaxing accommodation. We could tell that he also spoke with the staff as one of them apologized. They also gifted us 2 bottles of wine produced by them. If you are looking for an upbeat, young and fun weekend stay where you can party at the pool, aperitivo at the bar, stay for dinner and then stay overnight, this is your place! We were looking for a relaxed, post covid safe place to spend a few days and we were heavily disappointed. Our vacation has been saved thanks to the director.

Excellent place where you can enjoy gorgeous swimming pools with music bar, excellent restaurant, few top quality rooms, and a typical park to have a walk and relax. This little piece of heaven is a MUST for travelers to Italy who want to feel like part of the Italian culture instead of a tourist. My husband and I were blessed to stay four nights here and were VERY impressed not only by the beautiful views and grounds, but the delicious food and welcoming staff. The pools are breathtaking. We had our 19 month old with us, and instead of feeling like we shouldn't have brought her, we were made to feel like the staff LOVED her. They all had smiles and sweet words for her and even the owner brought paper and crayons to our table just as an added touch at breakfast one morning. The location is so conveniently located with short drives to Verona, Vicenza, Asiago, Bassano del Grappa and so much more. It is on our list to visit again in the future...we literally had a difficult time leaving the peace of Podere La Torre to go sight see!
