I really enjoyed my visit to this sanctuary. The enclosures are beautifully equipped nice size and the staff really know their stuff. There was an older woman just walking around with a volunteer t-shirt on giving us all kinds of information about the animals It was a wonderful time. I was able to capture some great videos I hope you're able to take the time to watch and go visit. All the money from visitors goes to helping the sanctuary continue to run and supply for the animals that are there. I will be returning with my husband next time. I'd also like to add it as absolutely wheelchair friendly I went by myself an electric wheelchair and all was well. Lots of good vibes and kids enjoying animals they would never otherwise be able to see. Thank you thank you thank you for providing such a wonderful place for these animals that came from such horrible conditions. This is definitely a heartfelt mission for these folks and I would support them 100%.

Great time with my daughter. The guides are fun and the owner is entertaining as well. Cats look happy, as well as the other animals. There is a house cat that came around and he was super friendly as well. A random excursion ended up being a great time with my daughter. Please donate and visit as that helps keep the animals fed and cared for!

On my trip to Jacksonville last week this was easily one of the most enjoyable activities. Nice to see these immense but still Lil' Kitties. It is a self guided tour but there were several volunteers around who were more than happy to inform us about the cats an their histories. Glad to see such a nice place for these amazing creatures.

A wonderful experience! Highly recommended. Our family was very impressed with how well the animals are taken care of here. The staff has an incredible bond with the animals and you can easily tell that they live for these animals. Our family took our time and interacted with the staff and volunteers to learn more of the backstory on each animal. It took us about 1.5 hrs to go through everything. This is not the "zoo" or "theme park attraction". These animals are being animals, relaxing and enjoying life. The property is well maintained and clean. We will be back for sure!

Went to the night feeding and it was a little pricey, but I know it goes to a good cause. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone living in Jacksonville or visiting. Never seen so many tigers. From a production experience not as good of an experience as the Jacksonville Zoo, but all the volunteers are passionate about their work and the facilities exceeded my expectations.

Greetings from DeFuniak Springs – A Must-Visit! We made it back home safely – thank you for the incredible experience at Catty Shack Ranch! Our 3-year-old was thrilled to see tigers, lions, leopards, bobcats, and even a bear up close. He hasn’t stopped talking about it and is already excited to play with his ducks and new tiger set tomorrow. This place is a must for families – and honestly, for everyone. I don't typically like seeing wild animals being held in captivity, but this place is different. It's obvious these animals are well cared for. Considering many of these animals have been rescued and donated from places that couldn't properly care for them, they are in good hands. I highly recommend visiting and donating to this place. I also recommend not whistling at these beasts, as they don't appreciate the cat-calls.

Good job to the park rangers! Very friendly and watchful. They drive around and keep the park safe. Delightful bike ride with my husband and older teen. Camp sights, bike trails, walking trails, bird watching, beach access, and the historic Fort Clinch make this a good day for families. I would not recommend riding bikes here with smaller children. Motorists are mostly looking out for you, but it works both ways, we pull over a quick second to allow them to pass. As with the other reviews, this is a gem for anyone who loves nature, the beach, and history. Check out Fort Clinch. It's a few dolars to get in. Pack some water. 🇺🇸

Beautiful State Park. I absolutely love the live oak trees hanging with moss. We only camped 1 night but would definitely camp here again. Most sites are pretty large and have some privacy. The usual picnic table and fire ring and clothes line. Easy walk out to the beach. Bath house was newer and clean. There is also a washer/dryer available. It was really quiet the night we were there. We did have a couple armadillo’s visit us when sitting out by our fire. We did drive up and check out the fort. It was cool to see and visit. The store is by the fort and has souvenirs, ice and wood. This would be a great park to have a bike.

I finically made it out here this past fall and it is a gorgeous place to drive around and walk around. We learned so much checking out the fort which was beautifully preserved. I had no idea the spaces would be so impressive. The walk around and through the fort was well maintained and I recommend this as a family group trip for families that are interested in the natural landscape and are history buffs. We will be back for sure.

Absolutely amazing! We were so impressed with how well they have kept up the property. It’s absolutely worth a visit. We also went around the beach and looked for sharks teeth. We found some awesome stuff, including a possible piece of a Meg’s tooth! Very cool!

Beautiful state park. We're on the river side. Plenty of privacy and shade on this side. Easy walk to the river and fort. Seen deer all over the place. Campsites have firepit and picnic tables. Has a clothesline for wet clothing and towels. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Has washer and dryers. Haven't checked out the beach yet. But we still have 12 more days here. And yes. We will book this campground again.

We visited on a cold and windy Christmas Day. The state park entry fee is $6 per car, and there's an additional charge of $2.50 per person to visit the fort's interior. I thought the additional fee was worth it. Part of the enjoyment was an interaction with 'true-to-form' re-enactor! Outside of the fort, there are a few areas for non-campers to park to bike or hike. The fort parking lot allows access to the beach on the St. Mary's inlet.

Great history lesson for the whole family! Truly a must see. Afterward head to the beach to find sharks teeth!

The museum is a very beautiful place. Not only do you learn about the history of the circus, but the mansion also offers stunning views of the sea. I especially love the art museum, particularly the Apollo statue at the entrance—it’s an amazing experience. Whether you want to learn, spend time, or even have a picnic or an event like a wedding, this place is perfect

It’s a great attraction to visit within the city and beautiful artwork. The grounds are kept very clean and historical architecture is magnificent. It rained the day I came for a few hours then the sun came out. There is free admission to the art museums on Monday. I do have to say, the fee to enter the Ca D’Zan mansion cost $45 and is a bit pricey. You only get to tour the first floor and didn’t really have much to see. It’s better to walk around the ground outside of the mansion for free. Wish I had known this. This is a great spot for tourists and locals to come visit. Highly recommend. Spectacular views of the city along the shore line. The garden area is very nice.

The art museum and gardens require separate tickets from the circus museum. It is free on Mondays. We are not huge museum fans, but really liked this one. A great mix of classical European art from the 1500s to 1900s, an exhibit on spirits, modern art from the 20th century, and classical Asian art. All housed in gorgeous buildings, and with a courtyard reminiscent of Italy. Take a walk in the park too and there is even a playground for kids.

We very much enjoyed the John and Mabel Ringling museum. On Mondays, the art museum is free entry! One could easily spend an entire day just in the art museum alone. They have everything from baroque art, the Dutch Masters, tapestries, religious iconography and ephemera, all the way up to modern art. I especially enjoyed the spiritualism exhibit which captures quite beautifully the cultural zeitgeist from the turn of the 19th century. The gardens are also beautiful and pleasant to wander through. We would love to return to see the rest of the museum at some point and highly recommend going, even if you only get to see a portion of the grounds.

Wow! This experience was so much more than I expected! Allow plenty of time because there is a lot to see. 2 buildings full of circus history and memorabilia. A lovely restaurant and gift shop. A huge, impressive art collection owned by the Ringlings that rivals the art galleries we saw in Florence, Italy, and beautiful gardens and sculptures around the museum grounds. We did not see the mansion due to renovations going on after hurricane damage.

This place is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Words can’t even explain you have to see this for yourself. From the architecture, to the art work it was just AMAZING. The HUGE work of arts were very intriguing. The design of the mansion, you know the Ringling had great taste. Also it’s free on Mondays for the main part of the museum just purchase wristbands up front to view the mansion

What a beautiful museum John and Mabel left for us Floridians. Beautiful random selection of artwork. Paid extra for the Ca’ d’Zan, but such a shame that because of the hurricane, we couldn’t check out a the second floor. Perhaps another time. The garden, stunning. My favorites were the Spirit World section and of course the circus museum. This museum has a special on Monday where apparently it is free to go (you have to pay to see the circus museum however) and another special where prices are reduced on Thursday’s after 5pm. Worth the visit.

We attended a silent piano concert here, and had a picnic of bagels and lox. The sand is white and powdery, and it's beautiful. This beach gets crowded sometimes, esp in the evenings and afternoons. Sometimes that's the vibe I'm going for, but other times I have my children, and I prefer a calmer, less populated beach/time of day. You can find shark teeth; it's a gorgeous beach that has earned its fame.

Siesta Key is wonderful. Softest sand around. Beach is very walkable and easy to get in and out of water (no ledge or steep incline like some other beaches). Clean restrooms and nice little snack bar and beach shop. Getting on and off the island and parking at peak times is challenging; patience, my friends. It is sooo worth it! Enjoy!

I've lived in Florida for 13 years, and I've traveled the world. This it by-far the nicest beach I have ever visited. It's very well maintained, there are always lifeguards on duty, there is no litter, and parking is free!

As far as a beach goes, it's hard to beat this one, especially without leaving the country! Amazing FINE white sand that really is like sugar, if not finer. Parking can be tough. Snack stand is quick and decent and does sell alcohol. The drum circle on Sunday evenings(at sunset)is very cool.

Absolutely gorgeous beach. Water is clear and blue and sparkly. Loved sitting in my beach chair and listening to the sound of the waves and all the sweet families having fun/making memories. Perfect vacation spot for just about anyone. Can’t get much better.

Amazing way to spend Mother's Day...any day really! Enjoyed the narrated boat tour...galloping gators, feral hogs, and fauna galore...something for everyone!

Great for kids! Airboat tour with gators, birds, wild pigs in sight. Tram ride with excellent description of flora, fauna, and history. Great restaurant and gift shop. Camping facilities look nice and we'll kept. Many opportunities for walks and bicycle rides.

Excellent camp ground for youth scout camping and to the looks of it great for family camping. Gas stations within 15 min drive for ice and other things along with a Walmart about 20 minutes away. Great roads for bike rides and also plenty of good views with alot of alligator sitings. Make the 1 hr trip to peace river if you can and dig for some fossils when the water is low!

Wonderful campground with plenty of space.

The campsite was huge and well cleared with plenty of flat spots for tents; the water out of the spigot was delicious and clean and didn't have that standard Florida sulfur taste; the state park staff was extremely accommodating and helpful; and the site was secluded from other campers. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Its better just putting anything modern away and imagine it being 90 years ago. Get the real feel for the real Florida

What a great way to spend a few hours and the entire staff is amazing. We showed up only to realize that we mistakenly got tickets for the wrong day, Amy & Olivia were wonderful and we were able to get tickets for a different tasting so we could have the experience while we were in town. Since we had some extra time we were also able to go on the self-guided tour as well. Zaira made a delicious mule and gave some tips on using different carbonated mixers for different tastes. Allan handed out the gin tonic and rum tiki samples and was a delight. I'm not usually a gin drinker, but he gin was the best I've ever had and was probably my favorite drink of the day, although everything was great. The end of the tour takes you to the store where Debbie was dolling out the old fashion. Afterwards we headed to the tasting room for the perfect pair tasting experience with Nelson who was lovely. We end up tasting home 4 bottles and a mixer because we had trouble deciding. Definitely worth a visit if your nearby.

A lovely free tour with 4 tastings (rum, gin, vodka, and bourbon) included! The employees are passionate about their products and offer a wealth of knowledge. Well worth a visit and located within convenient walking distance of historic downtown.

The tasting experience is amazing! The tasting assistants are very knowledgeable & I love how they showcase their process. A must see for any bourbon lover.

This was such a fun self guided tour - you can learn some history and behind the scenes about the distillery. Plus along each stop you can sample unique blends of their drinks. Their old fashioned was sooo good. A must when visiting St. Augustine.

Free tastings, cool atmosphere and very knowledgeable servers. You walk through each room and they’re set up to serve you a tasting of a mixed drink. They sell the mixers to go with each vodka, gin, rum and bourbon. My favorite was the gin.

We got there around 9am when they opened. We made it there before all the children on school trips. 😁 It was absolutely stunning weather to explore the fort. All the Rangers there were very nice. Not overly crowded until we started to leave. Will definitely visit again.

Pretty cool. About $15 to get in and you have to pay for parking. It's very well maintained and not that big. Less than an hour, and you've seen everything. It is very interesting and on the weekends they fire the cannons. In a very busy, touristy area. Alligator farm, Ripley's, restaurants, stores and the like. A challenge to find parking. Mikey Likey.

It is a great place if you are a fan of history and old architecture, it is a family place and the view of the sea is amazing. You will learn a lot. There are parking lots next to the castle so you won't have problems, however, it is important to go early to find a spot and to take good pics. I recommend you to wear sunscreen because the weather usually is hot.

My partner and I absolutely love visiting historic sites, and this one did not disappoint! Castillo de San Marcos so far is probably the oldest fort we’ve visited to date and the depth of history behind the fort and its various occupants is fascinating. Learning about the Spanish history behind the fort and area before the British was also quite fascinating to get perspective on the history of the United States. I would say the experience was humbling.

Went to St. Augustine on a day trip and the Castillo was the main item on my list. I was not disappointed. If you're a history buff this is the place for you. The staff was wonderful and extremely informative and all aspects of the fort. A lot of information was the kind of info you don't really read about when you look up a site you want to visit. In the morning they shot off the cannons which was really interesting. Entrance was only $15 and anyone 15 and under gets in free. You should have about 1.5 to 2 hours in order to be able to enter all the room, walk the perimeter of the fort, and the upper portion of the fort. It was a great experience id recommend to anyone.

St. Augustine is a wonderful place to visit and learn about its rich history. We learned a great deal exploring the fort, not only about Spain, England, and Florida, but also about the people who shaped this significant location. It's a must-see for anyone interested in national parks, history, or military affairs.

It is hard to find parking so I recommend doing the old town trolley tour with multiple drop off and pick up spots. I thoroughly enjoyed my walk around St. Augustine, especially St. George Street, which is a charming area filled with unique shops, restaurants, and bars. It has a lot of character and is perfect for exploring. Overall, I highly recommend a visit!

My husband and I are professional drivers and we had a load to deliver there. We had the best one day mini vacation and just loved every second of our visit! We had lunch at the Prohibition Kitchen and I think the name of the French bakery was La Madeline in addition to walking on the beach and walking the streets and learning our our country's history..

Nice bustling street with a variety of stores and great architecture! Must visit when in St. Augustine!

When you are on this street you feel like you are in 19th century. Many restaurants are bars with live music will hold you up till late night. Must go in the evening.

Fort Matanzas is a small but fascinating historic site that perfectly complements a visit to the larger Castillo de San Marcos in St. Augustine. It's very easy to get to by car — you can leave your vehicle at the free parking lot in the park, and from there, a free ferry runs every hour to take visitors across the water to the fort. I highly recommend visiting Fort Matanzas, either before or after exploring the main fort in St. Augustine. It’s a peaceful, beautiful place that adds depth and context to the area’s colonial history. The ride itself is short and peaceful, and once you arrive, friendly and knowledgeable park rangers are there to share the history of the fort. Their stories really bring the place to life, and their passion for preserving history is obvious.

Wonderful natural beauty, nice swimming during high tide, bioluminescence during the summer, clear waters, a variation of sea life (including sharks frequently so watch out), great fishing on the far ends of the beach, and MAGNIFICENT SUNSETS! *Can be extremely crowded on holidays, especially in the summer. *There is no camping and strict rules on fires in this are. *in the summer the waters can become dangerous due to boaters and other motorized water sports equipment.

This was a neat part of the St Augustine history. Not as crowded as Castillo. You have to get a ticket to take the short ferry ride across to the actual fort. It is small but the ranger did a great job with a short history lesson. A nice walking trail is there for while you wait for your ferry ride. They have booklets for kids to fill out and earn a neat badge. Clean restroom facility available. Ferry’s take off on the half hour at least when we were there (9:30, 10:30, etc). There are no tickets to buy but ferry tickets are limited for each ride across so I recommend getting them right when you get there so you know you have that set.

We truly enjoyed our tour of this watch tower. The park rangers were wonderful and so friendly. Bathrooms were clean and the property is so picturesque. Be aware that the parking is limited, but you can park across the street by the beach access, and walk across the street.

The fort was a threat from the south along the river until 1569 when Spain built the towering fort and later replaced the wooden structures with masonry in 1740. British ships appeared offshore in 1742 but the Spanish sent them back with Cannon fire to keep them from entering the port. The only way to visit the fort is with a guided ferry ride by the Park Service. There is no cost but you must acquire a ticket from the visitor center in the park.

Great place to visit. Everything that involves the park, all the details, the streets, redes, everything is great. Please be mindful that Magic Kingdom is a park more focused to smallchildren, despite having some cool rides like the Space Mountain and the Tron ride. Most of the rides here are easy going, smooth and adorable. I really enjoyed the Little Mermaid ride and the Peter Pan. The most impressive and interesting one was the Pirates of the Caribbean. Maybe because I am a huge fan and this is the oldest ride in the park. I love that and I love that this still there. For those interested in more radical rides, Hollywood Studios is the one. I think one good idea is to have hop passes when going to Magic Kingdom. Even with long lines (40 to 70 minutes), I was able to finish everything before 5 pm (I arrived at 10:30). Just a quick note that they have 3 or 4 rides closed (today os April 26, 2025). Loved it and will comeback someday!

It's such a nice place to be. Everyone one go back to their kids' time and enjoy the magic of this place. Attractions are nice. We loved the Tiana ride. The shows are amazing, too. The characters are all charming and stay always in their role customers after customers. The magic is real. Hope to be able to go back there again soon.

We left Brooklyn by car on April 18th at 12:00 PM and arrived at Magic Kingdom on April 19th at 6:30 AM. It took us 15 hours to get there. We got to the park at 7:00 AM and bought a 1-day pass for 4 people. The ticket cost almost $800. There are a lot of restaurant for you to eat and enjoy the design of the restaurant, atmosphere. Bring water bottles with you before you come to the park because it’s a little bit expensive. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes because you’re gonna walk around all they 😁 it’s so hot there. Also bring raincoat you’ll definitely need it for the Tiana’s adventure. Don’t forget your sunglasses and sunscreen 🧴. Bring your backpack 🎒also. In addition, don’t forget to bring more money 😁 to enjoy your trip more. My advice is don’t go there on the weekends because a lot of people will be there and you have to wait 45 60 and more time for each adventures. Parking lot costs $30 sorry If I’m not mistaken

What is there to say, Magic Kingdom was amazing. I’ve been many times but this time was my first time riding Tron and Tiana - both rides that are fantastic. Food - good. Rides - great. Lines - average. Negatives Lighting passes - the system is terrible compared to the 2000s and earlier. Customer service - good but again, not as amazing as during the 2000s and earlier. Long gone are those small touches by staff that go a step beyond. No more magical moments. Price - around $500 Canadian for 2 adults to walk in the gates. Felt high especially compared to the experiences of the past. What is working - making reservations for meals on your phone is a game changer and so is ordering food ahead of time. Character autograph opportunities are wonderful as is the fireworks.

Most magical place on earth! Make sure if you want to do the lightning pass that you book 3 days in advance. Pretty much have to schedule out your entire day for Disney now, definitely recommend dinner reservations 3 days before too. Also best time to ride the fantasyland rides are late at night once all the kiddos go home or are watching the fireworks

If you have a little one under 10, I highly suggest planning to watch the parade. My little loved it. The fireworks seemed to be an adult favorite. It was a bit chaotic at night. I didn't care for it and I felt I was trapped in a traffic jam. We were able to get on alot rides with my 18 mon toddler which was nice. The lines weren't too bad. The food could be better grab and go items. However you can bring your own food. We went on a Saturday in April if that helps 🥰

Great experience, came here with my daughter's cheer team after Nationals. So much to do and see id recommend using a weekend pass to come here, you could litterly come see all 3 parks if so. We will definitely be doing that next year!

My wife and I recently spent a long weekend at fisherman’s village, it was the first time we had ever been in this part of Florida. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel suites are first rate, very clean and well taken care of.. There was a lot of activity going over on during the weekend, but given that, the atmosphere was very quiet and relaxed. It was nice to see people just enjoying themselves whether it be in the shops, the restaurants or sitting out watching the sunset. The team at the Suites Hotel was first rate to deal with. Having just gotten home today, we can’t wait for a return trip. Thank you for a fantastic weekend.

I visited the Village Brew House restaurant there. The service was top notch!! Friendly attentive but not pushy. The food choices were great too. With a variety of options, anyone could come out and find something to enjoy. Then the food itself, Chef's kiss! Be mindful of the spicy sauces they are spicy, I loved it though. The drinks were also well balanced with decent options as well as plentiful cocktail options. All in all with the view, live music, and atmosphere, I will say it is worth a try and I will definitely be going back.

Little busy for the end of the season. But playing quarters at the slide off money machine while waiting for a table was great. The view and light breeze were perfect. The service and food were very good. Would recommend as a wonderful lunch spot.

A beautiful , but windy day to have lunch by the water. There was a surprisingly short wait for a table around lunchtime. Our service from Abby was great throughout. The food and drinks were both good, and priced reasonably. We even saw a dolphin swim by. It was a good experience, a nice spot, and an enjoyable lunch and atmosphere.

Ate at the tavern and upstairs and both were very good. Smaller menu at the tavern but still plenty to order from. Great Calamari rate it a 5. Fish sandwich also a 5. Little pricey but the location is water front. Great friendly waiter staff

Didn't stay at the hotel but went to visit the area as it was close to our Airbnb. The vibe is chill and relaxed and I liked it. Would definitely go again if am nearby. One of the shops that I remember in the mall is a teashop selling a variety of flavors that I've never heard before, so don't miss it when you go.

Nice setting for quiet nights along the Gulf. Hotel is quaint and clean, nothing special but set in an outside mall with shopping and restaurants. Everything closes early in the evening, depending on day of the week, so be prepared to provide your own late night snacks or beverages. The price was reasonable and the offered a Veteran’s discount. The staff at the hotel was helpful and courteous. I’d stay there again.

The theme parks are great. Kids loved meeting their favorite characters and the rides were awesome. Every theme park has 1-2 rides that are exceptionally good and worth the wait. Be prepared to wait upto 75+ mins for some of the rides if you are visiting during any school breaks.

This was our first time time at a Disney Resort! It was amazing! I loved the whole atmosphere, and everyone that we came in contact with was very nice and helpful. All of the nostalgic memorabilia everywhere was great. We all loved the attention to detail everywhere you went. Great 1st Disney Resort stay!

This is my paradise every time we are in Orlando. Now we are visiting with our little one. Clean, organized, Fun and adventurous for all ages with friendly staffs. We visit during weekdays with regular parking. There’s also a preferred parking with different price. Use mobile app to order your lunches, snacks, or reserve your time for attractions. It was busy during spring break, we reserved at Crystal restaurant ahead, foods were great with excellent services. Their burgers and fries from the cafe were good too. Reservations are a must if you want to try any of the restaurants at the park. Making great fun memories with family. Awesome fireworks to end the day. Can’t wait to return .

Great experience overall. It is spring break so there could be many crowds but it’s Disney so it can vary in predictably. To our surprise, wait times were not too bad, on average 30 mins per ride. We had a 3 y/o with us so I allowed other family members to ride Tron and Space Mountain. The Tron ride, as reported by family, was amazing! A nice update to Disney’s ride options in the Magic Kingdom. The Lightning Pass worked in our favor as well since the open rides were spaced out an hour apart and were in the same section of the park. My grandson had a great time. The park was clean and the staff tremendously helpful. My son misplaced his wallet and it was promptly sent to the lost and found with his money cards and ID present. Nothing missing which was heartwarming and gave me hope for the human condition. The food was just okay so if you have the ability and are willing to bring a cooler or a backpack with sandwiches and drinks, you would do well to bring that instead of spending gobs on park food. We also rented a stroller for only $12 for the day. Great fireworks show. Always a pleasure to visit the Magic Kingdom.

My wife and I visited here with family and had an amazing time. As with most amusement parks, there were lines and crowds of people, so have this expectation regardless of when you visit. I believe that the park can use some upgrading in a few areas, but overall, Magic Kingdom was a blast. We stayed in the park from open to close, so that would could catch the parade and fireworks. I love that Disney parks allow outside food, so we packed lunches and water in our backpacks to avoid spending too much money. I highly recommend the dole pineapple ice cream it was so amazing that we went back while at another park. Great experience!!

Our 2017 Disney Trip In 2017, we took a magical trip to Disney with our three little ones—and we’re hoping to take child number four soon! Disney is one of those bucket list experiences. Is it overhyped? Some think so. But it’s something you want to witness for yourself—and with your kids. The park was impressively clean and well maintained, even with the crazy crowds. We went in August (yes, the heat was real), and while some rides were easier to get on than others, the lines plus the heat made it an adventure of its own. What stood out most? The character interactions, the nighttime castle shows, and how each of our kids got to experience Disney in their own special way. We truly immersed ourselves in the full Disney magic. We stayed at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort—I'll share more about that and hopefully our experience with the other park next time! What was your AWEmazing Disney stay like?

Came to Disney World for my birthday week and had the BEST time ever! It really is the happiest place on earth. Make sure to get your tickets early and definitely grab the Lightning Pass the ride lines can get super long. Epcot was our favorite! The park is huge and so well organized, 5 days wasn’t even enough. Can’t wait to come back!

Stetson Mansion is a tastefully restored 1886 home once occupied by the Stetson family. Several different families have lived in the home and one still does. We actually saw some of their living quarters while on our tour of three floors, and the school house. Photos are only allowed outside and in the school house to protect the family's privacy. The home still has original wood floors, woodwork, staircase, and leaded glass windows, as well as some lighting and cedar siding. The original electric was worked on by Thomas Edison who also gifted the family lighting fixtures still in use. The home sits on over 2 of the original 300 acres.

Our Glass Guild toured the Stetson Mansion on a Saturday morning and we all felt it was “off the charts “ enjoyable, educational and enchanting! Kayla, the owner greeted us warmly and pleasantly checked in our 18 members. Then Alix, our energetic tour guide took group photos for us in front of the mansion before starting our enlightening tour of the 3 story 1886 Mansion. Alix was fascinating, weaving storytelling about the famous Hat maker, John Stetson and his family, and his connections to Thomas Edison, who personally wired this home for him. Alix was extremely knowledgeable about the architectural details of the woodwork, from the gleaming parquet flooring with unique patterns to intricate crown molding and staircases. We were impressed with all the leaded glass windows throughout each room! She kept us spellbound with the knowledge of this home and all the connections to Deland… We as a group highly recommend this historic tour!! Don’t miss it.

OMG! I have no idea this treasure was near me. It's an architectural masterpiece inside and out. I couldn't close my mouth. I went and it was Christmas decorated, and it was a dream every detail, every decoration was so beautifully placed. Definitely going back in a few months to see and have the full tour. Our tour lady was so inform and funny. The only thing wish they had like a small coffe and some snack or even a light lunch. That would round up the whole experience. Thanks for preserving this beautiful house and share it with us.🙌🙏❤️

Did the Xmas tour. Will be going back once the decorations are down.Well worth the price in my opinion. Really has personality. True Mansion. The only thing missing was Ted Cassidy who went to Stetson University. He played Lurch in the Adam's Family. You Rang ! Our tour guide was a young lady who was new and did a Superb job and was very knowledgeable. Wish I could remember her name. It was an unusual name, well done young lady.

This was a first visit for my family. We did the self guided audio tour. It is a holiday must. The mansion itself is beautiful and full of historic pieces. Add in the curated holiday rooms that are too fantastic to describe and you have a wonderful adventure.

This mansion is incredible both in terms of the rich historical value but also the owners, Kayla, incredible knowledge and obvious enthusiasm for the mansion. Fascinating to realize how many notable individuals visited Mr. Stetson and his wife over the years. Thomas Edison even installed the electric lighting in the house!! As far as I am concerned this is a most see if you are ever in the area.

The Stetson Mansion tour was outstanding on every level. Docent Kayla led us through the gilded age home with a plethora of fascinating personal stories and interesting facts. The home is meticulously maintained and is beautifully decorated. Cannot recommend this tour strongly enough. You won’t be disappointed!

Diagon Alley at Universal Orlando is pure magic! Every detail is incredibly well-crafted, making you feel like you’ve stepped into the Wizarding World. From the stunning storefronts to the immersive atmosphere, even the restrooms are on theme! The fire-breathing dragon is a must-see, and the shops are packed with authentic merchandise. The interactive wands add an extra layer of fun, bringing the magic to life. The only downside? It’s always crowded, even on quieter days. But despite that, the experience is absolutely worth it—truly a dream come true for any Harry Potter fan!

Hogwarts, Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley are incredible! I think the experience could be improved, being more immersive… but it’s must do if you are a truly HP’s fan. Waiting times in Hagrid’s ride are heavy…

If you are a fan of the books and/or movies, then you have to come here because it is simply magical. I love the atmosphere and watching all the kids (and adults) dressed in their robes and casting spells with their wands. You will definitely want to buy a park to park pass and ride the train into Hogsmeade where you can get a delicious butterbeer (my favorite is frozen 😋) The attention to detail is absolutely 💯 amazing 👏 great job Universal Orlando 😀

When the Ravenclaw chaperone has a group of Hufflepuffs to take out. It's a real run of controlled chaos. But at least all my lovely little Huffles had a great time! Even if we did run out of time to enjoy it all even more.

We went during Spring Break even though we are locals, so the crowds were a reality. But despite that, we enjoyed the amazing theming. The attention to detail was wonderful. Unfortunately my kids aren’t as captivated by Harry Potter as I was, so it was all a bit lost on them, but for the adults in the party it was a great experience. Knockturn Alley and the Tales of Beedle the Bard were favorites. The service left a lot to be desired however. We had so many bad interactions that actually felt borderline rude. More than once I greeted the person and thanked them and then when I walked away realized they had not said one single word to me. Not a hello or a thanks. Just pointed at the pin pad and handed me my receipt. It was very odd. It’s hard when your kids are with you and excited and trying to have a good time and the energy from the adults around them is very negative. Maybe I spend too much time at Disney but Universal suffers in comparison and will never be my first choice. I have worked in retail my entire life so we take a lot of pains to try to be pleasant customers and understand what it’s like to serve guests all day, but it just left me thinking Universal management needs to do something different to improve morale or support staff during peak periods. We sampled lots of snacks and treats. The actual meal was disappointing (breakfast at the Leaky Cauldron), but we loved all our snacks. I liked the hot butterbeer best, and the beef pasties. The butterbeer soft serve was the group’s favorite. We were able to ride everything but Hagrid’s, which was disappointing because that was a priority but it just never fit into our plans because there is no express option and I can’t justify investing in express and then spending two hours waiting in a line for a ride my children won’t ride. Maybe next time. We did enjoy all the other rides and waits were relatively low, even without a pass, and despite it being Spring Break.

It's always a pleasure to visit universal studios and their many attractions! The Wizarding Works if Harry Potter is no exception. Everything from Diagon Alley to visiting to get selected by my wand. Which is interactive with quite a few amenities in the area! I definitely recommend visiting and purchasing the wand too

Awesome park! There are a lot of great worlds to explore, built with a lot of attention to detail. The rides were a lot of fun and I'd recommend using the single line with which you can just skip the whole wait time (we waited 5 min max) and most of the time can still ride with your family, except on the Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit just use the normal line here it might even be faster.

I'm not usually a fan of theme parks and I didn't pay for this, so I'm can't say if it's a good value or not. It's definitely a neat place to visit, particularly if you like the world of fantasy brought to life by movies. Definitely a family friendly place and everyone should be able to find something they like. There were a lot of places to get something to eat, so finding something you like won't be a problem. The restrooms were clean and plentiful. The park staff was friendly and helpful. If you go in for theme parks you will like it. I can't really say anything about the wait for rides, because I was here for a private event and lines were minimal or non existent.

Universal Orlando exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was electric. The rides were incredible—especially the Harry Potter attractions, which were truly magical. Everything was clean, well-organized, and family-friendly. The staff were kind and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the day. We also loved the variety of food options and entertainment. Whether you're a thrill-seeker or visiting with kids, there’s something for everyone. It was truly an unforgettable experience, and we can't wait to go back!

Wonderful experience with immersive lands that brings joy to spirits of any age. The food choices at USF are varied and fun. There are good rides for most folks. With parades, shows, food, snacks, and rides you can be entertained time and time again. Come with patience, kindness, and looking to have fun and you will be rewarded. Sure there will be lines and other people who are having off days, but coming with the desire to not let others' determine how your day will go will make it special!

Fantastic park. Lots of fun rides. My favorite part was Jurassic Park and Harry Potter. I would definitely recommend trying the butterbeer. It's like rootbeer+cream of soda + butterscotch but better. The foam is the best part of it. Make sure to bring a poncho if you're going on a water ride.

Me and my fiancé went to just Universal Studios. We had an amazing time walking around and going to all of the different worlds around the park. Our favorite spot definitely had to be crusty world. We had a fun time looking at all the spots and how they paid attention to all the details. We really like the ride. It was very detailed and interactive from waiting in line to the ride. Everything was awesome. We also really loved the fast and furious ride. The attention to detail on that ride was also very spot onto the line to the actual ride itself. The food was not our personal favorite I would suggest skipping over Mel’s diner. The cheeseburgers were a little dry and you could tell they were frozen. The chicken tenders were good but very greasy the fries were good. They give you a good portion. I would also highly recommend getting the universal studio freestyle cup to walk around the park and have

Way overpriced, OK experience. This park costs over $100 a day, and you get nickle and dimed if you do anything else here. An express pass won't even get you a quick trip on the Hagrid motorbike ride and costs an additional $115+ per day! A VIP pass is an extra $300 per day! At best, you will get in about 8-10 thrill rides per day. Single rider, when available, might get you a few more rides, but not with your loved ones. The rides are fairly short. Velocicoaster and Hagrid are best, Hulk is also decent. The Rip Ride Rocket is also fun, but that is about it. Add to that a poor park layout with too narrow of walking paths makes for a long and aggravating experience. Universal's solution is to build more parks and raise prices more 🙁. NOT RECCOMENDED! One little tip: go see guest services for a pass if you experience a fire alarm or are unable to ride after a long wait (e.g., due to a malfunction). I was surprised hardly anyone else did this after someone pulled the fire alarm on Hagrid's ride (yes there are people that pathetic).

Very nice park. Not for people with mobility issues. The long lines don't accommodate people in mobility scooters. If standing for long periods is an issue this park is not for you. It will make the rides less enjoyable and more painful. Renting a mobility scooter is 75 and 95 for one with a canopy. Disney charges 60 for the day. Disney is very accessible. This park was not accessible in the lines for the rides. The kebabs and gyros were good. The refillable drinks cup is a good value. Soda was flowing all day.

This was truly epic! All the rides are amazing and the theme parks are just too fantastic! Being a potter head, I personally enjoyed the wizarding world the most! Along with that, I would highly suggest the velocicoaster ride available in the Jurassic world, which is absolutely thrilling and not for the faint-hearted.

I have visited several Universal Parks over the years. My experience has been mixed. I really enjoy walking around park just for the atmosphere and kids love it. With that said the price and the wait time for the rides is unreasonable. Plus this last trip Kong ride broke down after 30 minute wait, place almost all the rides over 1 hour wait. I highly pre buy tickets because it was over 30 minutes to buy tickets at the site. The line wasn't even that long the process was very slow compared to other amusement parks. Even pre buying tickets and passes has a wait line but not as long. Also you should really research each park before buying especially if your time is limited. Each park is a long day especially with kids you likely won't hit more than one park in a day.

4.5 stars. Cool park. Well planned theme park with excellent food options. The park has a nice flow to it, much better than most theme parks. I thought it was going to be a stressful day but it turned out to be very enjoyable day. A little expensive and some shameless profit grabs (Jurassic Park Boat Ride $7 group dryers and 3 beach towels for $66 gift shop). That ride was cool by the way. Cool park and friendly staff.

Got a big fan of Jurassic Park, so this was his choice for his birthday. Awesome place to bring the family for a fun packed day. Can't go wrong. Just one of the parks to choose from. Great place to come and enjoy.

Went on a work trip. Beat way to experience the parks, honestly. Limited options, but ALL good ones. Motorcycle ride at Harry Potter World was amazing. Unlimited Food and drink. And early departure buses! Will never do this again with work lol

We had a very nice and peaceful trip here. The botanical garden is very clean and kept. It is a great place for all ages with something to occupy the time. We did eat there and the breakfast was a good portion and filling. The gift shop they have is stocked, and they also have plants as well. Will return in the near future.

Beautiful Gardens and I experience. I was at first surprised when I arrived by the higher entry fee than other parks, but once inside, I fully understand. The gardens themselves are beautifully maintained and a delight for any photographer. The tower itself is otherwordly and seems like something out of a fantasy novel. A definite visit for anyone that what's to get away and enjoy nature. The Cafe on premises makes delicious food and great coffee and the shop and awesome curious and plants with very reasonable prices. I at last got to buy a bonsai tree I've been wanting to get.

Always a wonderful place to visit no matter the season...quiet, spacious and inviting. The 8 minute video in the visitors center is a must followed by the informative museum. There's a wide variety of beautiful plants labeled for identification throughout the grounds but the gorgeous tower is the highlight. The bells chime throughout the day and you'll want to be up close for the full effect. Bring quarters to feed the fish and don't miss the peaceful Window by the Pond. The children's area is unique, fun for all ages and encourages creativity and imagination. Be sure to visit the Cafe for an amazing meal and wide selection of drinks. Also, don't forget to stop by the gift shop on the way out and consider purchasing an annual pass which offers reciprocal privileges to many other gardens.

Beautiful gardens and the most impressive children's garden we've ever been to. My six and nine year olds could spend an entire day just in the children's garden. There is a sandbox, water play area, climbing structures, a place to make and display drawings, a stage with costumes to borrow, and the fan-favorite mud kitchen! The tower is also beautiful. Everything we got from the cafe was delicious. Employees were friendly and helpful.

I love going here. There are so many things to look at and beautiful experiences awaiting for you. If you’re an outdoors lover, this is a place you’ll enjoy going to. The history behind this place is very interesting. Bok Tower and its gardens bring me so much peace. I enjoyed hearing about its history and having the chance to go inside the Retiro was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. There are many trails for you to walk on and take in the scenery. I’m very thankful for having been brought to this beautiful land. I learn and experience something new every time I’ve been back there. There is a playground for children and parents to enjoy themselves. There’s a beautiful gift shop where you may purchase some souvenirs. They also have a picnic area where you may enjoy a snack or purchase something from their shop to eat. This is a great place to go with the family, go on a date, or even just go by yourself.

There are simply no words to describe the beauty, serenity and peace of Bok Tower Gardens. This is so underrated. Well worth a visit. Go early. Lots to explore. And get the extra tickets for the Mediterranean styled historic house on premises, El Retiro. Plan to go on a day with good weather. Can't wait to visit again when we return to Florida!

This is a beautiful place to visit. You can walk as much as you desire with so many beautiful flowers. They also have fruits and vegetables growing. It would be an awesome place to take a picnic lunch. There are plenty of shade trees to sit under. You could even possibly crash a wedding. We very much enjoyed our day at Bok Tower Gardens.

2025 Bike Week happened at our planned venue to watch the Supercross race. We were at Daytona NASCAR races last year and had so much more fun at this event. Please note there was NO shuttle of any kind, even for ADA obvious. Also NO HANDICAPPED parking so go early if you need to park up front. One ramp in venue you could access if in wheelchair, walker etc., but you had to take your chances with the hoards of fans cramming up the ramp to their seating. Only time ADA was acknowledged was on your way down the ramp, then others had to wait. The staff were very nice but no one knew where any gate was to enter to fan zone, buy tickets to fan zone. Backpacks were allowed as were stadium seat cushions. They are not allowed at most we’ve been too in Motocross type races. Monster drink cans were not needed for free entry into fan zone. Fan zone was included with general admission or above for ticket holders. Pics are of my husband with two privateers, Tristen Lane and Scott Meshey of the 450’s. Both are such wonderful “Boys next door” and bring home to meet your momma.

Definitely enjoyed our guided tour thru Daytona 500. Well worth it! With a tour thru the pit, tye race track, seating stands, and more. Our guide provided us with the history from its beginnings. Thank you for the wonderful afternoon. And had fun racing 5 laps with the race simulator too.

Highly recommend!! Excellent tour and fantastic experience and photo opportunities standing on the start / finish line, witnessing the steep incline of the track's turns, the pit stops, actual display of the winning car of the last Daytona 500 race, and museum. Absolutely a great value and very well presented in all regards. Truly, an American iconic destination. We loved everything!

We had a blast during Welcome to Rockville and loved our time! Though, we've gone to it back when it was in Jacksonville (our city), we still really enjoyed ourselves here. I saw so many of my favorite bands during the event and enjoyed my entire weekend. Though, I'm super tired after all that walking. I walked between 7 and 10 miles each day! Would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

What a wonderful experience! To physically walk up that bank is great. Fabulous tour with a wonderful guide. A myst for any racing fan. The museum is amazing with a brilliant driving simulator

I’ve been here for the Daytona 500, Jeep Beach and now Rockville! What an amazing place that also has great history!! They always do a great job no matter the event!!

I prefer NHRA over NASCAR & still found this tour pretty neat. It was over an hour with photo ops along the way riding a Trams. We were on the track to see just how angle steep these turns are. You get out & walk up them if you want. The museum is the end & you get to tour that also. Something for everyone in it. Simulator ride even, but that will cost 20$. A lot of people attend, so I'd go online & get tickets. Our tour guide was great!

I recently visited Daytona Beach with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was quite underwhelming and did not live up to the hype. As a destination known for its vibrant beach culture and attractions, I was expecting a lively and enjoyable atmosphere, but several factors left me disappointed. The beach itself was not as pristine as I had hoped. The sand was deserted , which was very disappointing. Additionally, the beach seemed less clean than anticipated, with litter in some areas, which was disheartening. I was expecting a lively and energetic atmosphere, but instead found the area to be somewhat lackluster. Many of the shops and attractions felt dated, and there was a noticeable lack of vibrancy in the downtown area. It seemed as though the town had seen better days and was in need of revitalization. My visit to Daytona Beach was not what I had anticipated, and I left feeling disappointed. The beach and town did not meet my expectations, and the overall experience was underwhelming. While I understand that some people may enjoy the area for its historical significance and annual events, it did not resonate with me as a destination I would be eager to return to.

1sr time at the beach here. The water is very clear. It’s busy on the weekend of course but great for a day at the beach with family. We went Saturday but it started raining and Sunday tide came but we had time enough to enjoy the beach!!!

Good to visit with families/kids. You can drive on the beach for about 2 miles with limited speed. This is 1 hour drive from Orlando.

Been coming here for 40 plus yrs. Still amazed at the size of this beach. It's never crowded, anytime of the day. It's a gradual walk into the water, no drop off. Perfect for kids. Lots of places to stay and eat. The pier is so much fun on a Saturday night. You can't beat this place!

Daytona beach really surprised me! I loooved getting to spend time in the water and just relaxing. Very chill and family vibes. The sand is white and the water is clear enough for me. I would definitely go again and visit!

Really a nice beach to visit

I normally avoid this are of Daytona, it is where the party seen is. Although I went today seeing how last minute we decided to go watch the sunrise so we did and then hung around the beach for a few hours. The beach was dirty the people that go there to party unfortunately do not clean up after themselves! There was a man passed out in the sand as well, clearly from the night before and yes I made sure he was alive and gave him some water and he went back to sleep without a care in the world. Do your part and clean up your trash. Otherwise it was a great trip. We enjoyed the sunrise and we spent a couple of hours getting some vitamin D. Kudos to the workers on the beach they where out early picking up the trash and emptying bins doing their best to clean it up so BIG THANKS for that. I would advise going further away from the boardwalk for family’s just my opinion but as always we had a great time.

Beautiful space to walk and learn about wild life, explore and learn from locals! Gift shop was cute! Easy and low cost parking ($2 an hour via parking meter), bathrooms were accessible. It was very clear on website there were no recent manatee sightings due to the time of year and weather so it was confusing why some families were so disappointed about not seeing any. This is a wildlife park and there are no captive animals here, that doesn't take away from the natural beauty and also spotting tiny lizards, butterflies and enjoying the water! Many benches and picnic tables available!

My family and I had a great time at Manatee Park! There was plenty of space for viewing manatees, kayak launch if you want a more up close experience, plethora of picnic tables/seating, an education center with a tv that loops with fun facts about manatees, butterflies, and even a playground. 10/10 and so glad to have found this local gem.

Always a favorite place of ours to stop at. Although there were no Manatees here today, it is an awesome park to stroll through and take in all that it has to offer. When you hit the timing right, the Manatees are everywhere! Nice little boardwalk that takes you out and onto the River. Plenty of parking and a small 2$ fee to stay per hour.

Pretty park, looked fun to kayak in but the water was too dark to really watch the manatees unless they popped up for air.. also had to pay per hr for parking. The gift shop was small and packed with people but we found a nice magnet. Not sure if I’ll be back, But it was a nice day. I did find it humorous that it’s a “no dogs allowed” park and everyone had dogs there. Lol should just allow them.

Very nice park. We were there at 8:30am Feb 1st and we saw a few before we got in the kayak. You only see them briefly when they come to the surface. We did the 2 hour kayak tour, which was plenty of time. Saw several but the water isn't clear like Crystal River is so you didn't see them very well. Nice park though. Got busy around 9:30-10:00. Only cost is $2 to park.

Great park! The kids had a blast! You have to pay for parking, so be ready! The water was too dark to see the manatee, but you knew that they were there because they would come up for air. There are a lot of people there this time of year. The restroom had no toilet paper in one stall and it was running out in the next. The gift shop was very small, but they had enough verity to select a gift for the kids. They had magnets, stuffed animals, toys, tee shirts and even candy bars. There was a mural on the side of the outside wall of the the gift shop building to take pictures. They have kayak rental there $26 for 2hrs. One area of the building had facts and information about manatees in the area. Great park for a nature walk if you like to go on walking trails!

Great park! Depending on the time of year you go you definitely can see some manatees and their babies. We saw several just walking around the boardwalk. You can also get a kayak, or get a guided kayak tour. I would definitely come back here again and again. $2 for hour parking, $5 for the day.

Fantastic Family Fun at Wild Animal Safari! Our trip to Wild Animal Safari was an unforgettable adventure for the whole family! Having a drive-through safari and walk-through animal park all in one place made it extra special. The kids were beyond excited from the moment we drove in and saw animals coming right up to the car windows—it was such a unique and interactive experience! Feeding the giraffe was definitely a highlight. It’s not every day you get that close to such a majestic animal! The albino alligator was really cool to see up close—something you don’t come across often. The walk-through area and petting zoo were just as fun. The kids loved being able to interact with smaller animals, and everything was clean, well-kept, and easy to explore. We highly recommend Wild Animal Safari for families looking for a fun, hands-on animal experience.

Highly recommend! Our airboat captain, Jeff, was both knowledgeable and entertaining. Our 30 min. ride went by so quickly, I wish we'd booked an hour. In that 30 minutes, we saw several gators and many different kinds of birds (including a bald eagle). After the boat ride, we spent hours exploring Gator Land. Even our teen loved it... and that is a big deal!

Loved it! This place is great for all ages. Love how the gators are all rescued from being euthanized because they were nuisances in their home areas. Chomper show was my favorite but all 3 shows are fantastic! Got to hold a gator too, no extra charge. So many animals there! Airboats are better in the winter when you can see gators but fun nonetheless, especially if you've never experienced one. Order those tickets in advance. Safari drive was good but a little long. Loved the crazy ostrich! Food was ok. Ice cream was all vanilla no matter what flavor they say it is. Bring cash, as they charge for using a credit card.

We recently enjoyed part of a day at Wild Florida for a second time in a few years. We purchased our airboat tickets on line, which I recommend because they do sell out for different times. After checking in we strolled around the zoo before going on our airboat tour. The 30 minute tour was just the right length for us. We saw various birds, alligators, and cattle that live on the surrounding ranches.

So glad we went! Well worth the 40 minute drive from the Orlando area! We thought it was going to be cheesy and a quick in and out. We only did the safari drive, feed the giraffe and the gator park. Wish we would have done the airboat rides! Well worth the price. I think we paid under $90 for 2 adults and it was so worth it. I do understand that if you had a full SUV then it can be quite costly. In the end what we expected to be a dud turned out to be a nice early afternoon adventure. We spent 3 hours and wish we had gone in the morning and spent 4-5 hours. And who can ask for a better deal of unlimited times driving thru the safari, no excuses you didn't get to view all the animals! Lastly all the associates we came across were very friendly, polite and informative. Only negative wish I knew we could buy at the gate and get the 3% cash discount, getting sick of businesses doing cashless so thank you Wild Florida for accepting Cash.

It's a good experience. Many animals to see and the place is well kept. You definitely want to do the safari and the park combined. The food was good and you had enough shade to enjoy even in a hot day. The add-ons are somewhat pricey and age restricted (close encounter is for ages 8+ and others are for 12+). Some of the stuff were incredibly nice and helpful and some others seemed annoyed to have to interact with customers. Overall a good experience. Definitely recommended for a family day.

Great place to see alligators and other animals. Get there early, do the safari, eat lunch, see a show, and take an air boat ride. Order tickets online and call them to schedule your air boat ride multiple days ahead of your day. They fill up fast. Restraunt has good food, and their smoothes are great for a hot day. You can hand feed a giraffe and throw treats to huge alligators. There is a bird exhibit you can walk through and feed them while they walk on you.

This place is one of my favorite nature trails that I have been to. The welcome center is large and has lots of information/ goods to offer. The staff is very helpful. The trail itself is beautiful! There is so much wildlife here that's it difficult NOT to see something. When we went, we saw a nest of baby gators, raccoons, wood storks, tons of smaller birds, and so much more. The cypress trees are something special. This place gives you a good glimpse of how things were before the big development booms happened. If you go to any of the nature trails in the Naples area, make sure this is one!

This was a really great hike, and a beautiful area in general. It's all boardwalk so it's not a difficult walk at all. Definitely worth the visit. The trees and vegetation were amazing in their own right, but of course the wildlife steals the show. We were able to see alligators, a raccoon, a spoonbill and tons of other standing water birds, hawk, owl, and many others. I would highly recommend taking the time.

There is a wonderful trail (not a loop) that is partially a boardwalk and partially dirt. It is not long, about a quarter mile. There are many species birds, including great egrets and another blue bird that I have not yet been able to identify. One alligator was spotted in the water while we were on the boardwalk. The landscape (that's visible from the trail) is very open in some places and just a trail through trees in some places. There is an elevated viewing area with telescopes as well rocking chairs. I wish we had seen more wildlife, but the facilities are good so it still gets 5 stars.

Must see. We were lucky enough to experience the low water levels when there were hundreds of birds and Gators in the same area. Went back 10 days later and the water was almost gone and still had Gators and a few birds, but this enabled us to look for other things and we found owls swamp raccoons and a beautiful hockey gave us a show. Place is simply lovely. And if you want to be efficient, Take the shortcut or walk it backwards....we had amazing time both visits. All staff beyond helpful. And i do not claim to be a photographer and took these pix without any intentions or goals, just let it flow so apologies for the amateur photos...no way they do this place justice!!

One of the most beautiful sanctuaries I've been to in FL. I loved the boardwalk along the entire place allowing nature to be untouched by the visitors. Most of the walk is covered by beautiful cypress trees, we saw an owl, a snake and several beautiful birds. Definitely recommend to visit and enjoy this magical place.

Great place to view wildlife and different habitats. Love this place. No road noise. Peaceful. Naturalists always out there to point out different plant species and wildlife. Nice cafe and small deli type sandwiches and salads, coffee. Great gift store. Very educational place. Enjoy!

Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary its an amazing park with a 2.4 miles rise board walk making the experience very unique walking the entire park on it . Very nice and comfortable experience .  The boardwalk will take you through this 13,000-acre preserve and you will walk through pine flatwoods, wet prairies, and the largest old-growth bald cypress forest in North America . These cypress trees are like the OGs of the forest, some towering over 130 feet and living for centuries.  Wildlife? Oh, it’s a whole zoo out there. Expect to see alligators, otters, white-tailed deer, and a great variety of birds from Roseate Spoonbills, egrets , including the vibrant Painted Bunting and Indigo Bunting. And if you’re lucky, you might spot the elusive ghost orchid, which made a blooming appearance in 2024 .   Admission is $17 for adults, $6 for kids aged 6-14, and free for the little ones under 6 . They also rent binoculars for $3.50, which is a steal for getting up close with the wildlife .   Winter Hours (Dec 16 – Apr 30): Open daily from 8 AM to 5 PM. Last entry at 3 PM. • Summer Hours (May 1 – Dec 15): Open daily from 8 AM to 3 PM. Last entry at 1 PM. • Accessibility: The boardwalk is fully wheelchair accessible. It’s at least 5 feet wide throughout, with extra space in spots for passing. Pro tip: Get there early to beat the crowds and catch the wildlife at its most active. And don’t forget your camera—this place is a dream for photographers.  Just a heads-up, though: the sanctuary has been grappling with dropping water levels, which poses challenges for the ecosystem . An Out-of-This-World Experience! Visiting the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex was an absolute highlight of our trip to Florida. From the moment we walked in, we were immersed in the incredible history and future of space exploration. The exhibits are not only visually stunning but also deeply inspiring — especially the Space Shuttle Atlantis display, which took our breath away. The Astronaut Encounter gave us the rare opportunity to hear firsthand stories from a real astronaut, which made the experience all the more personal and meaningful. The bus tour to the launch pads and the massive Vehicle Assembly Building was unforgettable and really put into perspective the scale of NASA’s work. Everything was well-organized, clean, and accessible. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about space. Whether you're a lifelong space geek or just looking for a unique and educational day out, the Kennedy Space Center is a must-visit destination. We left feeling inspired, amazed, and proud of human achievement. Highly recommended for all ages!

Visiting the Kennedy Space Center in Florida was an unforgettable experience! I had the chance to attend a rocket launch event, and it was truly incredible to witness a launch up close — something I will never forget. The NASA museum was equally impressive, showcasing fascinating exhibits, historic spacecraft, and inspiring stories about space exploration. One thing to keep in mind: the waiting time for the rocket launch can be quite long. I highly recommend wearing flexible and lightweight summer clothes, especially if you're visiting during the hotter months. Staying hydrated and bringing some sunscreen is also a must. Overall, it was an amazing day filled with excitement, inspiration, and awe. A must-visit destination for anyone interested in space and science!

If you’re interested in ‘space’ then Kennedy is a great place to visit. There are a couple of simulator rides here now and the coach tour out to the Apollo visitor centre. Saw lots of birds & a gator at the side of the road! The people I was with loved the space centre visit, but for me it’s not really my thing ( I have visited twice before but the others hadn’t). Not mega busy when we visited which made it nice & easy to get around. Unless you’re really into space I would give it a miss, but if you like space travel and history it’s a must for your visit to Florida.

Great experience to learn about the evolution of space exploration in the USA. You will learn about the great engineering by thousands of people to make these missions possible. The center is very focused on kids up to age 12, it does have things for adults and youth, but most of the activities are focused on younger kids. For me it was just the experience of seeing these great engineering marvels. Definitely take the ride out to the Saturn 5 building, it is included with emission. You will get a good view of the launch pads and will drive past the iconic NASA building where shuttles and rockets are made. For a little extra you can stop and tour it. Parking will be extra, about $15, and if you have AAA, look there for a discount on admission.

Amazing experience! At least one time in your life you need to go there ! How many times in life do you have occasion to meet an astronaut? Exactly! We are lucky to meet an astronaut Barbara Morgan. Thank you so much for making this day perfect !

Bucket list location. We went on a Thursday morning in April. Really quiet , no waits for anything. The displays and information are world class. The facilities are all amazing and the whole place is just superb. The restaurant also turned out a really decent cuban sandwich . The gift shop will bankrupt you as so much cool stuff to buy.

The history part is amazing, seeing the artifacts and learning the history. But, after you come through the main gate and $175 later, just for basic admission, there isn’t much to do if you haven’t paid for all the addons. The shows are mostly automated, lots of touchscreen interactions, I was pretty let down. If you spend the money (well into a grand per person), I bet it awesome. Just didn’t feel like the admission price warranted the basic tours.

Love this zoo! Each exhibit is packed with fun experiences to enjoy. The kids loved feeding the giraffes, walking around the kangaroo park, and watching the lions just layout in the sun. The zoo has a cool splash pad and cave/playground experience for the kids. The cave/playground was a great way for us to end the day with extremely exhausted kiddos. My three year old enjoy the train ride even though it was short and I mean short ride. Nonetheless, the train ride is not expensive. Coming from Orlando, this zoo is worth the drive!

To start off the parking lot is really weird to me. It’s super long and there are spots on both sides of the road. I’ve never been there really late but I’m sure the parking is full. It’s a good walk to the front entrance. No trams here but no charge for parking like some places do. I would get the tickets beforehand. Not to say I’ve seen it that busy at the gate but it’s better when you have the tickets right on your phone and you can walk inside to the person that checks the tickets. Very quick process. There is a lot to see at this zoo. I have been here at least 2 times before. They updated the area where the Lions are and the walkway goes around the Rhino enclosure towards the Giraffes. You can pay to feed the Giraffes lettuce. The cool part is that you are at their eye level. Because you are basically on the second floor. You can even pet the Giraffes a little. You could spend most of the day here to see everything. They have a playground. They also have a little train that you have to pay for to ride in but it goes to an area that you can’t walk to and comes back. Very short ride. There is a splash pad type of pool there for the kids. I’ve never been but it looks nice. The food isn’t cheap of course but they do have a good selection and a seating area. It’s definitely worth a visit.

Love this volunteer-based zoo that has a lot going on for it! From feeding lettuce to giraffes or seeds in the parakeets for a small price to kayaking along their river or taking a train safari-- there is something for everyone! I really enjoyed the layout and size of this zoo because it guides you through all the exhibits without being overwhelming. Definitely recommend getting here when it opens because the animals or more lively and you can also feed the kangaroos! If you're in the area, highly recommend! The volunteers are super nice and helpful too!

Absolutely amazing experience at Brevard Zoo! There’s so much to see and do here, from feeding giraffes and watching playful otters to exploring lush, open-air habitats filled with animals from all over the world. The kayak tour through the Africa section was a highlight, and the train ride was a big hit with the kids. The zoo is beautifully designed, clean, and very family-friendly. Staff were helpful and informative, and there are plenty of interactive experiences to make your visit memorable. A must-visit spot in Florida for animal lovers and adventure seekers alike!

This is one of the very best zoos I have ever been to. It is set up in Countries. Each one makes a loop so it is easy to see everything and you won’t get lost. We Loved the kayak thru the zoo! But go there first when entering as it fills up fast. They even have a splash pad for kids. Bring suits if your kids don’t like getting their clothes wet. Ours just waded around in their regular clothes. You can purchase entry tickets online. Skip the waiting to purchase line by getting yours in advance. We didn’t know this but got our while waiting in line and skipped right to the entry once we purchased. The zoo is well maintained and very clean. We had a great time!

Visited family in the Apopka area and ventured out to this zoo after researching. Very family friendly. It is a smaller zoo but there is a water play area and kayaking(extra) and zip lining (extra fee) that you can do. It took us quite some time to get a parking spot on the weekend. So leave extra time to find a parking space. Nice refreshment area with seating.

What a great experience at Brevard Zoo. The people who work and volunteer here are so welcoming. I loved how the zoo is designed and plenty of shade. Will definitely consider coming back. They have zip lining and kayaking for extra cost but was a great add on with the kids.

Great place! Allow 2hrs. to tour the entire museum and grounds. Very historic trip through time with authentic weapons and vehicles. It is done very tastefully with videos to support each one of the era depicted.

This is an incredible museum and tribute to our brave military personnel, who go above and beyond in training, physical strength, and military tactics. We spent 2 hours here, and you can easily spend twice that amount of time - reading about the various places they've been deployed, looking at their tactical geer, and handling some of their [like] weapons was truly eye opening! The exhibit for the Normandy Invasion is amazing, both inside the museum and outside, which included the training obstacles used to replicate what would be encountered on Omaha and Utah Beaches. The short films were tremendously informative, but we didn't have the time for the 2 hr movie. The memorial for the soldiers lost is extremely emotional.

Really awesome place. Fun for all ages. Great displays and very informative. Big outdoor space with lots of things to check out. Some displays you can get into and they have a fun outdoor agility course too. Highly recommend.

This is a must see if you are in the area and I’d say it is even if you have to drive a while. All the items on display here are authentic and not replica which was really cool. Lots of great things to see on display and things to learn. The staff here is great and knowledgeable as well. I learned a lot about the history of the SEALS which was really interesting. I had no idea that they started right in Ft. Pierce. This place is an awesome place to visit. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Incredible museum. Very fascinating history of the Naval Special Warfare UDT-SEAL teams. Staff was friendly and very professional. I sincerely appreciate the cleanliness and attention to detail that was displayed here. The history was very interesting to read about. Great place to visit in south Florida.

What a great facility to visit! Jodi, our tour guide, sincerely cared so much about the animals. She was sweet, friendly, and knowledgeable. I could tell that the animals also really loved her. We enjoyed the birds, amphibians, reptiles, Harry the spider, all of the big cats, and the other small mammals. The Story behind the sanctuary is fun, and so Florida, lol. We loved everything about this place!

What a fantastic place. The tour was incredible and our tour guide, Bianca, was super knowledgeable, friendly and kind. Absolutely would recommend to any animal or nature lover!

Had an incredible time with our family at McCarthy, kids ages 5, 8 & 10. I highly recommend this place. It’s well worth the money spent. It’s evident the animals are loved and well taken care of. We are so glad we took time on our vacation to visit McCarthy’s.

Awesome experience! Probably one of the best experiences you can ask for. Got to hold a giant snake, baby gators, a tarantula, and pet tons of tortoises. Coming from Minnesota this was really cool and I would recommend this to anyone. Josie was a very informative guide, shared lots of knowledge I never knew about all of the animals. I’ll be back

Really great experience! Held different types of animals and saw many tigers, lions, cheetahs, etc up close. However, the only issue was that the enclosures were quite small for these big kitties. I would want to see a little more room for them to run.

Amazing wildlife refuge. Had such a great time on the tour with Alexis as our tour guide. Very friendly and informative. You get to learn not only about the animals but their individual backstories and how they arrived there. Such a great place. I can't wait till my son turns 5 next you so I can bring him as well. Did I mention they let you hold some of the animals. Super cool experience for a family or a date.

This place is wonderful. The workers truly love and care for all of the animals. They are living in big caged areas and are fed, nurtured,and loved. If you are going to be in West Palm Beach, this place would be my #1 recommendation! Our tour guide, Josie, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She answered all of our questions thoroughly.

Wow this is what I call a mega mall. It's like 4 malls in one. Repeat stores. Indoor mall connected to an outdoor mall. Restaurants, food stalls at every corner. It's a great place to hang out for the day. Especially if you have time to kill before a flight - rent a car and check it out. Only downside was the side by Target smelled foul.

It’s a great place to go shopping for the day. You really need 2 days to shop. Great stores and great restaurants.

This is a really beautiful mall. Great amount of stores, parking, restaurants. This is one my favorite malls in south Florida. I highly recommend if you’re visiting south Florida.

Lots of brand names store to choose from. Nike outlet has a 30% additional off all items. Sometimes, it's 20%. Reebok outlet also has a sale.

It took a long time before food was served, and it was already cold when it was served in our table. It's good a kids attraction as fast as the jungle decorations and plenty of toys to buy for kids.

Extremely impressive in terms of sheer shopping options from luxury outlets to full department stores and anything and everything in between. They also have an impressive lineup of restaurants with extremely inviting outdoor dining options. Whether you're there for a specific purpose or just to spend some time meandering, you couldn't do much better than here.

Today I just got robbed by this machine, I never pick the bottle of water because they charge $3.50 for a bottle of water!!! and instead this machine just charged me $10 so I came to the Simon Guest Services Isle to claim my money and it is closed. Who is gonna reimburse my $10?? The are stealing money with this machines and there is nobody to report this.

Interesting park. Way different than what you see in Florida. Is a walk of like 45 minutes if you go fast. It was crowded when I went there around 3 pm. But it kinda was peaceful with the exception of the noise of the crowd. It has a very good online guide that explains the important things in the park. There is like a little movie that tells you the story of Mr Morikami. And his journey from Japan to America. Defiantly worth visiting.

Driving up the freeway, I think 95 saw the sign for the museum. Gardens decided to stop very glad I did. took about an hour to walk through the park, taking pictures and looking at the bonsai trees. They had an Akira display which was a plus for me that showed really good animated cells of the movie. The museum has a store a restaurant and not too far off the highway. ample parking Really well done definitely come again.

Beautiful place! Very friendly staff! Much larger than I expected with peaceful spots to sit on benches and enjoy the scenery. There were so many cars in the lot we thought it would feel crowded, but the grounds are so large it wasn’t an issue. There is also a cool wooded path to walk through. The bonsai garden was spectacular, some of the trees there were older than us. Good food and fast service at the cafe. The vegetarian bento box was huge. Also, the gift shop was nice and it had an interesting selection of items. Thank you to the staff for a great experience.

Bonsai collection was spectacular. Nice tranquil gardens around a large pond. Sadly needs some love and care. The railings on the bridges and benches need some repair and staining. Hopefully spring cleanup will happening soon.

Amazing views and very relaxing areas. They strategically placed benches in front of their best scenery. It's a very pleasant afternoon. Also, do NOT sleep on their Cafe. The boba tea is DELICIOUS and the food is excellently priced and very tasty.

A beautiful place to spend a day outside in nature. Take your time and see it all, there are a lot of places to stop and sit, maybe take some pictures, or have a bite in the cafe. Worth the price of admission for sure! If you're lucky enough to go on a day with a breeze, you can listen to the bamboo creak as it sways.

Beautiful garden!! Peaceful walk around the lake. You can go your own pace plenty of benches for resting or peaceful reflection. The entrance fee is reasonable and plenty of parking. It’s not far off of the Florida Turnpike so worth the stop.

Visiting the Flagler museum was one of the top highlights of our trip to Palm Beach! We went on a Saturday to catch one of the free guided tours and it was excellent. I was initially a little wary of the entrance fee which I felt was a bit high, but after leaving we totally felt it was worth it. You can tell that the staff truly cares about preserving the mansion, grounds, and furnishings. I highly recommend coming for one of the guided tours, it took a little over an hour (we had a big group) and it made our experience so much more interactive and educational. Learning about the history of Palm Beach and the family made our trip so much more fun.

This home and museum is outstanding! We spent four hours touring the home and learning about all of the items and activities the Flaglers had and did. They were fortunate enough to have electricity, indoor plumbing, and even phones. The decorations are beautiful! The design of each room is interesting and gives the room a certain flair. Learning about how the Flaglers lived and who their friends were, and even how many times Mrs Flagler changed her clothes in a day was quite interesting. It was up to 7 times. I also found it interesting to learn about the three levels of maids or servants. There seemed to be a hierarchy, no matter what economic level a person was at. The grounds are meticulously maintained as well as the outside of the house. It was an absolute joy to tour this home and to learn about all the Flaglers did for the community back in their day and their generosity continues today.

A beautiful tourist site. Well maintained, you can do a self guided tour, live tour with guide or just explore. There is a small gift shop inside where you can grab a simple lunch or the railcar tea room for admission plus the cost of the food etc. Admission is 28 for adults, just the access to the mansion,

What an incredible piece of history to be able to tour. The craftsmanship is second to none, and the guided tour with Ron just made the experience even better. A must do while visiting Palm Beach.

Walking through the Flagler Museum feels like stepping into another era. The grandeur, intricate details, and stunning waterfront views make this mansion a true work of art. It’s a dream location for history lovers, architecture enthusiasts, and anyone who appreciates timeless elegance.

Absolutely beautiful mansion dated back to 100+ years ago. Lots to see and explore inside and outside the house. Well worth a visit if you are in the Palm Beach area. Admissions can be easily made by the entrance.

As it often goes with anything beautiful this place needs to be witnessed with your own eyeballs to do it justice. By far this is the most opulent of all the old US mansions we’ve visited and so far we’ve been to the Vanderbilt mansion and Ogden Mills Hyde Park NY and the Biltmore in Asheville.
